The room was outdated and dirty. I rented a Junior King suite and it was very outdated. The king sized bed was uncomfortable. The room at peeling wallpaper and carpet that was older than me and I was born in 1980. The room did not have remote controls for the two televisions. The hot tub was also out of order. The staff were very friendly but seemed used to dealing with disappointed customers. I recommend staying anywhere else in the neighbourhood.

The location of the Ramada was wonderful for where I needed to go. Everything was within a five minute drive. The service and the staff was really nice they were able to provide me with a power bar when I left mine at home due to my oxygen machine needing to be plugged in at night. However our room was atrocious. The curtains had huge stains on them the rug had a huge stain on it our sofa bed that our son slept in smell like pee our fridge in the room was so cold that it froze all our stuff and cannot be turned down the shower doors didn't close properly so when you had a shower the door would pop open and there would be water all over the floor. Maybe it just was that particular room but I was unsatisfied with the room we were in. The day we went to the pool the water was colder than any hotel I had ever been in and their hot tub was out of order.

Hotel stay was nice, and all the necessities are there. Beds are soft, everything is clean, and the staff is very friendly. There were a couple things off, such as the lamp having some electrical issue (which they addressed promptly), and the hot tub was out of order (however, they did have a deal with the neighbouring hotel, so you could go there instead). All in all, it was a nice stay, and well worth the price.

Room was ok. Tv remote did not work. Staff was not very helpful or knowledgable in area dining. Breakfast was ok, so glad it was included. Hot tub not working either.

Comfortable beds, sufficiently clean rooms, rooms are worn and dated, could use renovations of the rooms, hallways, and the elevator. Breakfast options are great, excellent start to the day.

Good location. Good room and beds. Good breakfast. The only thing less than ideal was the TV remote.

The hotel was pleasent to stay in. I enjoyed the breakfast and thought it had a good selection. Rooms seem a little out of date. I also question the area. My wife and I were approached on multiple occasions by gentleman asking for money. Staff were very friendly.

Pretty bad for a Ramada Wi-Fi never works front desk staff refused to look into it. I booked a ground florf room and they gave it to someone else. Completely overrun with drunk nateves and Mooslims kids screaming up and down the hall. Staff was no help at all got so bad I went and slept in my pick-up. If your anybody but a white your good.

Very nice pool. Went through 4 key cards and still had issues getting into the room. Staff was helpful though.

Clean rooms good breakfast. They had a crib for our baby. Bathroom door didn't close though something wrong with the hinge.

Honestly whoever is giving this location anymore than 1 star has very low standards — what a dump! noisy, zero help from the staff and dirty/ dated rooms. Terrible!

The room were nice and clean. Pool was warm and breakfast was great! And the price was amazing!

Rooms were very well priced for a King suite, great location, and easy access to West Edmonton Mall. Be careful on where your room is located. Our room was wrapped around the elevator and you could hear it, and the dinging when the doors opened. It also took a very long time for the water to warm up. Overall a decent hotel for its price.

The staff here at the Ramada West Edmonton are fantastic. The rooms are above average, and well maintained considering the age of the hotel. Keep but the good work, JT!

Location is convienient if you have access to a car. Nothing to do nearby without a car. Rooms are clean and spacious. Service at the front desk was very helpful.

Continental breakfast made me sick (had to buy immodium and antacids). Room layout annoying (by elevator). Took 5 minutes to have warm water run from ice cold to warm and toenails around our sink upon arrival.

Stayed at the hotel for two nights. Overall experience was nice. Swimming pool and gym are good and the complimentary hot breakfast was awesome. The price was quite reasonable.

Very nice rooms. Wifi was good. Comfy bed, good location with nearby fast food, and restaurants.

Had a great experience. The room was great, and the continental breakfast was amazing! Only down fall was that the pool was a bit on the cool side. My family and I will be staying here again!

The absolute worst hotel I've stayed at in awhile. I understand that everyone goes to hotels for many things (business, travel, weddings, etc) but the noise in this hotel was off the charts. I went to rest my head at about 11:30pm on a WEEKNIGHT when what sounded like a herd of hyenas came barreling into the hotel lobby. There was probably about 6 of them and they had their kids too. I'm not a kid hater or looking to ruin anyone's fun… but I do expect other people staying at a hotel to keep it down after a certain time just like I do in my room. It's called respect. What gets me is that my room was the first one on the main floor right next to the elevator, front desk and my I shared a wall with the kitchen. Did I mention that this rucuous continued from 11:30pm-2am? And the front desk agent did NOTHING and I knew that she could hear everything going on considering my room is 20 ft away from the lobby. Again, I get that it's not the most life threatening thing but with the cost of hotels these days it would be nice to stay at one where the price actually pays off. I spent $230.00 for two nights to listen to a family vacation (yelling, screaming, jumping on the floor, racing down the hallways) duntil the wee hours of the morning… seems fair.

Guest services is fantastic. As a repeat visitor, I will recommend to anyone who wants a comfortable stay on a budget.

Poor cleanliness standards. If I could give no stars I would. Our first visit was poor but we thought maybe it was a rough week new staff whatever the case may be. We did complain to the front desk and the front desk manager was very apologetic and helpful. We decided to stay one more time and after this visit we will not be returning ever. There is mold in the shower on the ceiling. There was an opened used soap on the side of the sink when we checked in. When house keeping "cleaned" out room they didn't empty garbages, vacuum, empty the ice bucket. The elevator was always filthy. The pool area never had any towels but the dirty towel bin was full. There was bandaids and grabage around the pool and a line of scum around the hot tub. I am unsure how the rating is so high for this location. Maybe the general manager/owner (who didn't even apologize) deletes the poor reviews. Call around you can get the same rate at higher quality hotels. Hotels that have standards.

Love the service, plus the staff is friendly and it's very nice for families or business. The only but was the hot tub on the public pool was stained, other than that it was a great experience.

Rooms are nice and clean and not too dated. Jacuzzi tub in the pool area needs to be cleaned. Free breakfast has decent variety. Would come again.

Awful. Do not stay here. The breakfast was terrible — no seating, ran out of loads of things which weren't replaced, garbage overflowing on bins that had not been cleaned for a long time (thick grime around the opening), understaffed in fact when asked about any additional seating they just grunted. No towels in swimming pool, cold water from 'hot' tap in room and pool was closed for 4 hours for 'general cleaning' without prior notification. When I informed them on checkout I received 5 separate excuses from food supply issues to staff training. I usually love Ramadas but avoid this one at all costs!

The service at this hotel was pretty great but the pool not so much. It is so dirty and gross, my hair is fried and feels awful since swimming there. I would not recommend swimming there.

Nice pool, it's an old hotel so things were a little dated but the Wi-Fi was better than several other holiday inns we have stayed in.

The hotel staff was rude and unaccommodating. When I arrived the clerk didn't even say hi, just stared blankly at the screen and asked for my last name. The elevator was broken, no bacon at breakfast? All around this place has been a series of disappointment, I feel unwelcome here. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Good location close to the West Edmonton Mall and Hwy 216 which circles the city. Nice dark rooms and an excellent fitness center.

Mattress needs replacement in our room as it's springs creak when you are out of bed… bathroom could be cleaner… staff was pleasant and let us check in early… a little stingy with the towels lol… but our second stay here and the visit is always good… Internet is painful at time. We called down due to a stained sheet and they offered to replace the broken mattress or move us to another room. We chose not to pack up but the next day we discovered that they switched the wrong bed… oh my! … Three days and we never got coffee replaced in our room that we made the first day. Probably won't stay here again.

Friendly and efficient check-in. The breakfast is standard as for Holiday Inn Express. The internet speed is sufficient for youtubing with some buffer in between… But considering the hotel size, the internet speed is decent.

How the 63 year old was playing his flute in common area and some old maid was digging him like he was elvis. After driving all day to relieve co worker cause he need time off in expectedly I waited in lobby for my crew to show up I must of stole Peter pans thunder cuz I was asked to produce a room key after explaining I have yet to be assigned a room would usually switch out with the guy leaving the staff was overly abbrassive and I went to call the boss and flute playing dwarf followed me out the parking lot like he wanted to go all "chronicles of narnia" on me so I was on the phone with old man dwarf At my window I decided that it was enough not stick around and drove home sorry to the boys hope u understand and defiantly going to have our office call there office and hope that old maid gets the hospitality training she so desperately needs.

I usually enjoy the Holiday Inn and go out of my way to select this hotel brand when on the road for business. This particular hotel in Edmonton West is not up to standards and I would not recommend it. Some key issues are 1 — internet and access to email is spotty at best (i. E. Slow or not working) despite off site efforts to address (I have not had this problem at any other Holiday Inns), and 2 — breakfast's (the hot component) are not fresh (eggs and ham for instance are clearly brown and wrinkled along the sides), and 3 — heating and air quality not great. Seems an older hotel run on the cheap, and again notably distinct from other Holiday Inns I have stayed at.
