Have stayed here twice, very very friendly service, love that I can get a room with just my debit if need be. Rooms are beautiful! recommend to anyone looking for a good place to stay.

I’ve stayed here around 20 times and this last time will definitely be my last. I booked and pre payed on Kayak. The next week I noticed the charge from Kayak along with 2 additional full charges from the hotel which I never authorized. I contacted the hotel and was refunded one but then recharged again the next day again unauthorized. I then called and asked to talk to the manager. He never returned my call but wrote me an email that he would have someone check into it after the weekend. I called Kayak right away and they contacted the hotel and had them refund the 2 extra charges right away. Never heard back from the Manager at all. No apology or even an email making sure I had it sorted out. Watch the charges on your credit cards.

So clean everywhere specially the room! staff are friendly and we love the pool and hot tub 😍

We got the King Suite which seems great so far for our family with separate bedroom for adults and pull out sofa bed for our toddler.
Enjoyed the pool earlier, could be a few degrees warmer, bit chilly. The hot tub/spa was warm and enjoyable.

Poor customer service, even though we called the hotel directly and were asked by hotel staff to cancel due to feeling ill, we were not refunded or offered a credit for a future stay. The manager Manjit Gill I spoke with was rude, dismissive and not at all empathetic to the situation.

Horrible experience with both front desk staff and manager. Poor communication skills by both employees along with providing false information.

Even I had the confirmation number, they somehow lost our reservation. We had to wait more than 15' after a long drive. Pet fee is $75! Really? Never staying at this hotel again.

For the last nine years we have stayed at the River Cree Casino, but the last three times they have not let us park our tiny RV research trailer in their parking lot.
we called the Hyatt Place, and they said sure thing! just park it out of the way.
we are sure glad we discovered the Hyatt Place in Edmonton, because the King sizes suits are amazing, the service is fantastic, and we even get a free breakfast!
I guess it really pays to look at alternative logging.
we are going to stay there from now on.

The staff was amazing. I went down and asked for extra blankets and they almost beat me back up to the room to deliver them. Super clean also.

We had the best stay here. They offer complimentary breakfast and it's a wide selection to choose from for different dietary preferences. There is also a Starbucks in the main lobby that you may enjoy. They have great front desk hosts and their housekeeping staff is really helpful. They observe quiet hours at night as well so you are more likely to have a peaceful sleeping experience. They also have meeting rooms, business center and printing services available if needed.

Overall very clean hotel and upscale "look". Now that is done, for a brand new hotel for what I can see is very fancy. I have it on personal authority they cut corners on making this hotel. The corners they cut we cant see… use your imagination. My prepaid room required a credit card, very normal right… WRONG. The way they run your card is a cash deposit. As if you took cash of your credit card and fully subject to immediate interest. The manager hounded me and my family and even walking in our room and cancelling my room keys when this type of transaction was rejected by company credit card. The manger treated me like I had been staying their for free for a week and I was dead beat. I had to leave work and come clear this up before my stuff was tossed out. Never again!

Good: Nice, clean new building. Good food at the restaurant (although I've had only one meal, other than the complimentary breakfasts). Breakfasts were pretty good. Pool with sauna and exercise room. Good service. Close to West Edmonton Mall. Bad: Feels a bit impersonal for some reason. Maybe all the modern decors. Bed was a bit too soft for me. Pull out bed was a bit lumpy for kids. Brought some extra blankets on request, but took a long time (requested in the morning, and someone knocked at 1030 when we were all in bed already). No bathtub, only showers. No room service. Hard to get to the first time (Google map takes you to the back and can't get through from the back. It's all one way and you have to drive around the block. I guess it's also Google map's fault. I moved the marker since, so it'll take you to the front). Neutral: They take away coffee, tea and fruit as soon as the breakfast is over, but you can still buy food and coffee from the restaurant instead (or make coffee in your room).

I stayed here a couple of times this year and it is a very clean and welcoming hotel and breakfast was good too. Would definitely recommend staying here. During my second time staying here I happened to witness a dispute between the night manager working the front desk by himself and two drunk individuals where he was being verbally abused and disrespected, yet handled the situation on his own with so much patience and professionalism without having to call the authorities! Glad to see there are still humble, patient people in the world.

Clean overall. Worst burger ever though, could not even eat it and it was 17$. Do not sit and wait for your order to be taken, you must go up to someone at the front desk or counter, I learnt. I sat waiting awhile when there was three people not doing much at the front. People pleasant as usual. Hot tub down and supposedly there are practice fire drill alarms today and tomorrow. Not sure I will be back here, wish they had updated the site as I was specifically looking for a place with a pool and hot tub after my long drive.

Stayed here last year and was decent. This year it is just aweful. From a car alarm going off at 7am till after we went out to get away from the noise at 10am. To the gym AC being turned off all week during a massive heatwave. Totally ridiculous temps in there over 27 degrees. I even reported it to the front desk to turn it on and nothing was done. Then they closed the pool for the rest of the week. We will never stay here again. There are other things but I have said enough.

Fairly close to the airport. Very nice rooms. Great free breakfast included. Bar/restaurant on first floor. Awesome pool and workout facilities. Close to food and shopping.

Nice, newer hotel. Interesting twist on the free continental breakfast, with hot bacon, eggs, and pancakes. Other non-breakfast menu selections were way over priced though (5 dollar drip coffee!? ). Room was modern, but the glass almost see through bathroom door was strange and somewhat concerning.

Courteous staff. Nice clean (larger then avg) rooms. Comfortable beds. Lots of parking. Free breakfast a step above most of the free breakfast offerings. Would stay again.

Stayed here twice and both times could hear the racket in the hallways and next door (there was a guy on the phone all night). We told the front desk several times that night who did nothing about it; we were stuck waking up over and over. The next day when I spoke with the manager he said that they had no records from the night manager but would proceed with penalizing the noisy guest up to $200, I don’t know how that helps me, and they didn’t even offer to compensate us the day after. After all we didn’t get much rest which is what you pay for at a hotel. Second time we had to deal with the staff minimally but they still managed to be scattered, unprofessional and rude. It didn’t help that they could hardly speak English. We often see ourselves passing through Edmonton and will be staying elsewhere in the future. *Update: They accidentally charged my card from my deposit for nothing. Had to call to get it reversed. Good thing I checked my credit card transactions. **Update: I’ve been staying at the Candlewood a couple doors down ever since and had nothing but good experiences for the same price.

Great rooms and bathrooms! Whether you're spending time with family or on work, you have everything you need. Couch can have a few guests over too for a meeting or something. And you get free breakfast which is great! Worth checking out!

Very good and new facilities, good breakfast, service not so good. While very friendly at reception they delayed my registration (I arrived in the evening) for they were going to check my room. They didn't check, otherwise they would have noticed that the sofa bed was half open without cushions, and other very noticeable details. I've called several times for a lost items and they don't call back. I've been waiting 3 days for somebody to get back to me.

Stayed at the Hyatt this past weekend with my parents, husband and 9 month old son for Mother's Day! We had a very nice stay. Comfortable beds, nice size bathroom, great location and very good complimentary breakfast! They are even pet friendly, clean and have great customer service. The pool was excellent also — good size. Would definitely stay here again.

I have booking confirmation on this hotel last Friday, April 27, 2018. We are supposed to stay until Sunday, April 29. Upon check-in, the front desk told me they have cancelled my reservations because they are fully booked. Of course, I was shocked and super upset. First, they did not inform me. Second, we drive all the way from Calgary. 3rd, Its my birthday gift for my Mom. They ruined everything. I have booking confirmation since April 2nd and they did not even bother to ca…ll me or e-mail me ahead of time. They said it was the “computer” or the system who cancelled my booking. Until now, I still feel bad for what they did. Just to remind you of your company’s Vision : Our shared set of values define our culture: Respect. Empathy. Integrity. Its the worst day of my life that will always remind me how much I was not valued, respected, and cared for.

I’ve never stayed at a hotel where I left feeling as impressed as I was with this place. Right from the moment we arrived till our departure, the whole staff was nothing but wonderful! Diego at front desk was memorable and a great dude. The hotel was clean, great pool, hot tub and work out room. The continental breakfast was so fulfilling and best I ever had! No complaints from myself and the two other people with me.

I can honestly say that of the many hotels I've stayed, this experience was in the top 10. The minute I walked in all three of the staff at the desk were engaged and friendly. They had a small issue with their payment system, asked if I would mind sitting at the bar just to the side while they sorted it out. They came by a few minutes later with the room keys and said they had figured out the system and paid for our beers as a token of appreciation for our patience. I've never had a hotel comp a drink at the front desk during this stage, very impressed! The room was very clean, and very comfortable. I will recommend this hotel to everyone and will certainly stay for my future Edmonton trips down the road. Thanks again!

Gorgeous rooms. Wonderful service. Good breakfast. But the pool is small and the hot tub is so hot that you can't hardly sit in it. There were also many kids rhere, though perhaps that's not usual.

This hotel is fantastic! It is close to West Ed and also convenient to other Edmonton attractions. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. Their customer service vwas top notch! I would definitely stay there again and would recommend to others.

This is a great hotel. The manager Diego is top notch. He made us feel at home. The other staff was helpful and very friendly. The continental breakfast was the best I've ever had!

The hotel staff are fantastic! Even the cleaning staff took the time to say something nice and were very pleasant. I had the pleasure of dealing with Sonia and Anita, both were exceptionally courteous and professional. Great, clean and big rooms. Very decent breakfast too. I highly recommend this hotel. Clean, comfortable and nice staff! Great free breakfast with vegan oatmeal and almond milk, free parking. 5 minutes drive from west Edmonton mall. Nice hot tub and swimming pool. Quiet and big room :)

It was fantastic! Nice clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff, great hot tub and pool. Having free breakfast was a treat. And the hotel has a beautiful, sort of vanilla scent throughout. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Nice place. Didn't get a chance to have breakfast as we slept in but it looked better than most continental breakfasts. Room was spacious. Mini fridge included. Hotel has a nice pool and very kind staff.

Really nice stay here with my husband. Very executive, clean and stylish. Loved the room layout, shower and King-sized bed. Breakfast was lovely wth lots of choices but perhaps could do with more serene music in the early mornings rather than up beat euro pop. Otherwise would recommend this hotel.

It is a very new and clean building. The breakfast that was included with our stay was very acceptable. My oldest left an Ipad on the floor of one of the beds accidentally. When we called the hotel to ask for it, they were unable to locate it although I told them the exact location where it was left. It is our fault for leaving it behind. I wish their house keeping staff was more honest. I am very disappointed with the staff.

Room was clean and modern however they pack all the guests on the same floor and you can hear everything from your neighbour brushing their teeth, the baby across the hall waking at night and the housekeeping vacuuming bright and early. The cable is basic and there aren’t any movies to rent. No restaurant or consequently room service. The temperature is at 21 in the winter and can not be turned down. You can’t keep the fan on as it only cuts in with heat making a loud clicking noise that wakes you. New yes, worth staying here no. There are many other options in the same price range that are much nicer, the Candelwood suits are much nicer and the bedding alone at the Hilton Home 2 suits are far superior.

Beautiful new property on the west end. Very welcoming and bright. Staff were friendly and attentive. Rooms are very nice and comfortable, they even offer accommodations for your pup! Would highly recommend to business travelers.

We got upgraded to a suite at no charge and it was nice, big and clean. The gym had all the essentials and the hot tub and pool were great. The rooms were clean and looked new or renovated. Wi-Fi was included as well as buffet breakfast. The breakfast had all. The basics but nothing to wow over. I wish they had water fountains for us to fill our bottles though.

We didn't have the best experience here. We were supposed to get an early check in, but unfortunately while we were waiting for our room they gave it away to someone else. (we overheard the conversation) When we finally got to our room they stuck a thank you for staying letter under the door that had proof we were supposed to be in a different room (the old room number was crossed out and the new one written above). The next day we left to go down for breakfast at about 8 am, the housekeepers were on our floor at this time. When we got back from breakfast the were still on our floor. We left the hotel at around 11 am and came back around 5-6 pm and they were still on the exact same room from when we left. We called down to the from desk for more cups (because we had some guests over) and they never showed up, even after I asked if I could come down to get them, my response was 'No, we will get house keeping to bring them up). They did have a wedding there the weekend we stayed, but a hotel should still be able to tend to other guys staying there.

Poorly designed building. Tiny lobby and eating area means its more packed than a Tokyo train during rush hour. The rooms are modern and large but cold and sterile. The bathroom looks like a locker room shower with no tub but the water drains into the center of the room. The water flow is atrocious so it feels like you're being waterboarded in a prison cell. Otherwise the hotel is clean and modern and the staff is friendly. Breakfast was really good.

Stayed for one night, but the room I was in (704, beware) had a terrible loud humming noise that gave me a headache and would have made it nearly impossible to sleep. It wasn't constant either, more of a pulsating, vibrating sound. The staff tried to help, but the hotel was fully booked and the source of the noise (AC condensers on the roof) couldn't be turned off. Luckily, a suite was cancelled at the last minute and I was relocated at no additional cost. The room was huge and clean, the bed was very comfortable, the service was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. Apart from the noise, which the staff helped with as best as they could, I have no complaints.

Room was clean. Staff was very kind and very sociable. Pool was a little crowded with kids, but nothing that wasn't expected. Breakfast was great, minus the potatoes. Accessibility was very poor. One way on to a one way… Not fun. Room view was a great look at the Mitsubishi dealership… That was nice. All in all, great hotel, great staff. Location left to be desired.

They have big clean rooms with comfortable beds. The service was great and people were friendly and helpful. We had a great 2 day stay. I liked that you needed your key to get on the elevator. You knew people were supposed to be there then.

Checked in around 6pm was given room 229, was hot in the room, put the AC on, went out for supper when we got back still hot, its cooler in the hallway found out AC is not working, given another room on the 3rd floor which was heavily scented we went to the front desk to request for another room staff at the front desk (forgot his name, tall white guy) doesn't look pleased, but gave us another room 725 which is good. Also Mentioned about scented and non scented rooms (did not know they have this prior to booking) it's inconvenient to move from room to room especially when you have a kid. For a new hotel I did not expect it to have an AC that does not work. Staff are nice, rooms are clean, pool clean and breakfasts is good!

Such a nice hotel! Very clean and I love the decor. The rooms are spacious and modern. The breakfast was really good and the service is fantastic. Will definitely come here again next time we are in Edmonton!

Brand new hotel. Everything is very clean and looks very nice. Food is adequate, nothing to write home about. Indoor pool and spa. Workout room with the basics. Service has been phenomenal.

3 breakfasts and no bacon made me sad. Also telling us the pool is a no kid area from 10 to 11 on check in would have been nice to know. Other than that good to go. Clean, comfortable beds, amazing showera.

As a businessman I travel often and find myself staying in many different hotels. This is the only hotel I actually look forward to go to. The staff is friend and the rooms are warm and welcoming. The sales team was able to make it easy for us to sign an agreement to make the billing consistent. I highly recommend you or your company to stay here as they make doing business easy.

Stayed at the Hyatt on May 13. Hotel was great, rooms were clean and well thought out. This morning I see that my credit card was charged $50.00 more than the receipt shows from the hotel. I called the hotel and was told that there is a fifty dollar damage deposit that is charged on every room and should be credited back in a few days. First I heard of this as nothing was mentioned and no deposit amount is mentioned on the receipt. We travel often and stay in many hotels and although I know "soft lock" deposits are taken from most hotels, this is the first time I was actually charged for the deposit. One question, what will $50.00 bucks replace if damage was done? …

Location is good and close to many amenities. The room is of good quality. The free breakfast is possibly the best I've had included in a hotel stay. Would stay again.

The newly built Hyatt Edmonton West is one of the most modern hotels in the Edmonton West area. The rooms come equipped with black out blinds, smart t. V. 's, modern furniture, lights, and design. Each floor has a guest laundry room, while there is a pool/ fitness centre, bar and lounge, and entertainment booths downstairs. The breakfast buffet is hands down the best buffet I have had at any hotel. This Hyatt is miles better than the Hyatt Regency in Chicago. Oh, and if you need to get work done, they have plenty of public access computers and conference rooms. My only gripe is the elevator that seemed to stay out of order longer than necessary and the additional costs of supplies. If those were in order, I would easily give this place 5 stars.

Nice rooms. Noise travels a bit, but it's not bad. Breakfast is well presented, but the scrambled eggs didn't seem real. Could be better. Good facilities with very comfy beds.

Nice clean rooms. Comfy bed. Larger tv. Friendly helpful staff. Convenient to shopping. The reason for 4 stars is you do hear people talking through vent in bathroom as well as showers in adjacent rooms draining. Breakfast is nice but typical bagged scrambled eggs.

This location is brand new, having opened in January, 2017. The lobby design is exciting. Open with plenty of furniture and functional space. You can watch TV in a private nook, read on the couch while waiting for friends, grab a drink at the bar, or use the restaurant/breakfast area to read/work on your laptop. The rooms have intuitive and efficient in their layout. Nice coffee/tea makers! The price is great. Not sure if it just during this early promotion season that they will be this low… 4 stars because much of the materials used are low quality (think IKEA) and don't fully function or wont last long.

Room was great, Staff were as helpful as could be, but the hotel is desperately understaffed. Housekeeping didn't make it to the room until 5:30 pm. Twice ordered food in the lounge first time it took over an hour to get it. The reason I was given was the cook had left for the day and didn't tell anyone. So the front desk staff went into the kitchen and made it. Unfortunately, she left out the side dishes for the sandwiches so in the end only received a parts of two of the items ordered. Tried again the next day this time only took 40 minutes to get the food. It was a complete order but again the front desk staff had to go and complete the order. I guess my suggestion to the management if you can't provide the service don't offer it until you get more trained staff on hand.
