Canmore Hotels

We stayed here in February 2026 and booked two 2-bedroom suites. Overall, we had a decent experience with some great amenities, along with a few areas that could use improvement.

First impressions/day one in February: The location is perfect. Our west facing room on the 4th floor has an excellent view of the Canadian Rockies. Check-in was easy and the staff was polite.

Pretty solid hotel. Good price and good location. The rooms are clean and the fact you can check yourself in is nice.

Fantastic help from the service desk. Excellent cooking facilities. The bedrooms on the road side can have a street light beaming through; they really do need blackout blinds.

Room was very nice and very well appointed but there was a full garbage from the prior people under the sink in the bathroom full of cans and food from Dairy Queen that was missed and the bed was

Excellent location, easy check in with code on door, comfortable beds (even the sofa bed), quiet, big TV, good kitchen.

Northwinds is a decent hotel in Canmore. As with other Basecamp resorts I’ve been to, I generally find the service to be very hands off.

Stayed at this hotel and overall had a very positive experience. The price-to-quality ratio is excellent the room was clean, well maintained, and comfortable, with everything functioning as expected.

We stayed in an air b n b grizzly building 101 on the 3rd floor, this was a super great experience for 7 adults and 3 kids.

I have stayed here many times before and always had a good experience. My last experience was exceptional.

Stayed 2 nights at a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom unit as a family of 6. Spacious living room. Kitchen with utensil, bowls, plates and dishwasher.

Pretty fun and great stay. My only issues were the molds in the washer and staff smoking in a non smoking area by the entrance.

My friend and I stayed for three nights and took part in an indigenous rattle workshop. We had an amazing time and learned a ton.

My friend and I found out about a weekend retreat doing crafts. Dawn is very welcoming and kind. Penny who helps and runs the crafts was the same all weekend.

This private condo rental for us felt super secure.

Each spot is individually owned. Be sure to check all the specifics of what is included in your booking. Ideal location for access to downtown and the mountains. Appreciated the underground parking.

We have stayed here a couple of times and got a 2 bedroom suite each time and we love it here. Great views, cozy spaces, everything you need for a great stay whether it is a short or long stay.

This was our second time staying at Silver Creek Lodge and it was excellent! The service was excellent, rooms are clean, and pricing was affordable.

Our family stayed at The Drake and booked the Three Sisters Mountain View, and it was absolutely awesome! Waking up to the mountain view was definitely a highlight of our stay.

Inn is an older building however round are updated, pretty friendly as well. TV has Roku which was a nice change to have, the restaurant reopened while there great food.

Pros: I don't know if I liked the hotel that much, but I definitely loved being in Canmore. The apartment is definitely spacious enough and the views are insane because, again, you're in Canmore.

Right off the highway, was easy to navigate. Had plenty of availability last minute. The room was just the right amount of rustic charm meets modern amenities.

Excellent facility and reasonable price. Friendly staff that go the extra mile. I forgot my Apple Watch in my hotel room and they couriered it to me. To my surprise it arrived the next day!

Great hotel, love the big spacious pet rooms and nice pool n hottub.

This was a great place to stay. The rooms were clean and well — appointed. Beds comfortable, but pullout sofa only average. Everything we needed for the kitchen was provided.

This hotel is suitable for someone who dont plan to be in the hotel the entire day. Because its a decent clean spacious room. But the hotel as a whole is not cozy.

Enjoyed my stay here on the weekend. Room was clean and quiet. Staff were very friendly. An easy walk to Canmore main street.

We stayed yesterday at Blanchard's Airbnb in Canmore, and it was an exceptional experience. Barry and Nicole are incredibly hospitable host, making sure that every guest feels welcome and comfortable.

The best BnB! Nicole and Barry provide everything we need! Full of breakfasts, fruits and drinks. I will suggest my friends stay here when they visit Banff!
