Worst hotel in Calgary! Do not stay here. We booked 2 rooms in advance, When we got there the rooms had no power — We ended up getting another room — Which also had no power. When we finally got 2 rooms (12 rooms apart) The door was broken and would sometimes take 15+ times to even get inside, and often the door would not lock. The hotel concierge staff gave us two door keys — WITHOUT asking for valid proof that we actually where staying in that room. There are no fridge or microwaves in the rooms (as advertised on their website) The first night we stayed a room down the hall was extremely loud from the time we got there till 8-930am. After bringing it to the desks attention we where met with the 'We dont care' attitude. The bedding in the rooms was "Clean" but the beds and other items where in disrepair. The bathrooms & Showers where nasty. The cleaning ladies stand around all day and occasionally go into rooms. When we brought these concerns to the attention of the desk we where discounted for 1 nights stay at approximately half cost. The second night — There was a fight in the halls at 5am. To which a hole got punched in the wall. The Continental breakfast is cereal & muffins unless you want to cook your own waffles. Wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemies. Pet friendly but at an extra 20.00 a night for a already run downplace is kinda ridiculous. The best part of this place is leaving and never returning.

I was in 4th floor. Room was not clean. Shower taping was not functional. Drainage was clogged. Shower curtain was very dirty. Fan was very noisy. The elevator was in very dirty condition. Comedy cage located at ground floor, and it adds more drunk smoker at the main entrance door. Outdoor parking road marking is verty narrow and getting out the car after parking is not easy!

U mmmm. Read the reviews after booking… opps that was a mistake. No fridge. Broken ice machine on first floor. (only one). I was on fourth. Had to get desk to get me ice … bathroom was gross. Room was dated… price doesn't even come close to what it should be… 69.99 max.

If I could give negative stars I would. This hotel is disgusting. I"m here for 2 more nights and if it wasn't for the fact that Stampede is on and everything else is booked I would find another place. I was looking forward to some time in the pool… literally minutes before I went to go down to the pool we were told it was closed due to filter issues. The guy said it would be ready within an hour… well its been 24 hours and its still closed. When I called down to the desk all I got was "we don't know how long it will be"… no offering of a discount. ON TOP of that our room wasn't cleaned properly. The ice bucket wasn't emptied, my empty paper coffee cup was still sitting on the table and a slurpee container was left on the floor. Totally disgusted by this hotel!

The trucking company that I work for send us to this hotel but I rather sleep in the truck than to come here. Poorly maintened hotel. Room are so old and dirty. Washroom could be clean more properly and the hotel is moldy and not worth it and why do they hide the microwave and fridge.

I was visiting friends and locked my keys in the car. The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful. Also I saw her dealing with an upset guest and then a housekeeping issue. She was very professional and solved each problem quickly and efficiently. The guests were happy.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, The cleanliness or lack there of was very disappointing and their organization is little to none. We stayed there for my friends wedding to get ready and had asked for everyone booking with the wedding party to be on the same floor, we arrive to check in and they had everyone on different floors. Her brothers room had mold in it, The brides room had dust all over the furniture thick enough to write your name in it and my room had someone else's used soap in the shower, other peoples hair all over the floor, when I tried to take a shower the drain didn't work and the tub filled with water and who knows what else… the furniture had stains from things i'm sure I don't want to know and the carpeting was pulling away not to mention everyone said my room smelt like urine! They have not kept this place up or updated the rooms and clearly do not care about sanitation, not to mention when they were told about issues they denied there were any problems! This place is definately not worth what they ask you to pay and you would be better off staying somewhere else! Lesson learnt to read reviews before booking a hotel!

We pulled in to the back of the hotel and thought we had taken a wrong turn. The only thing I can say good about the hotel is the king bed we had and free Wi-Fi. The television did not work. After talking to the nice lady at front desk she brought us a new remote which didnt work. Finally found out it was a loose connection. I took a picture of the bathtub and showed it to the front desk and asked them to please scrub it out. It looked like someone with dirty shoes had walked around in it. The shower curtain would not stay closed so water went everywhere. It is the oldest filthiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Holes under the carpet. And we paid $95 a night for this? We wanted to check back out. Never again. Should be torn down.

Kind of grungy, but you get what you pay for. Located next to a lot of services. The hotel has a pool and pretty decent Wi-Fi.

This has to be the worst hotel I've stayed in yet. Lots of hotels in the area were sold out for the night. However Travelodge had SMOKING room, (we don't smoke) didn't even think that was a thing anymore. But we REALLY needed some where to stay for the night. The room just reeked of smoke, which is to be expected I guess. The white lamps were a gross shade of yellow. The AC unit in the wall didn't even work. Shower head was all rusted, and gross water staining on the ceiling in the bathroom. After a night of sleep, woke up to see the sheets coming off the bed a bit, the mattress had a big red stain in it. Our sheets had visible stains on it, to say the least I was completely disgusted. Not enough towels, had a room with 2 double beds and there were only 2 towels in our room. Like don't you think when there's enough bed for 4 people you should have a minimum of 4 towels. Luckily my friend had his own towel in his bag for whatever reason. Atleast he knew he had the clean towel as everything at this hotel was extremely questionable. The hotel in itself only had one elevator & parking was a pain. The back & side door's " didn't work" so had to park a ways away and walk all the way up to the front just to go inside. The lobby is decent looking but very plain, and they also took a 50$ deposit, for what reason I don't know because I just got it back the next morning when no one had even looked at our room after we left for anything. That was some unnecessary.

The hotel was definitely economy. The roads are very small and stated. It had good wireless internet and wired internet as well. None of the inputs on the TV works. There was good assortment of restaurants nearby.

Not sure yet. Didnt get there… hahahha.

This hotel is extremly busy with people and that is OK. However, one of my pillows had a red stain, coffee maker was not working. The washroom sink looks like is going to fall soon, is loose.

This hotel was filthy. Our room had a layer of dirt and grime on everything that made it obvious that nothing had been cleaned in months! The toilet had urine stains on the outside. There was what looked like blood stain on the bed skirt. There's run down hotels that you don't expect luxury from and are ok with that. This was just actual filth. After letting the clerk know we were offered another room that was equally dirty with the add on of dead flies on the window sill. Moral of the story, try the one up the street instead. This place was very poor.

It's clean, safe and quiet. What more can you ask for? It's not the 4 seasons, but there's plenty nearby and it's in a safe area. There's a comedy club downstairs which is really cool.

Service was good, bed comfy, room clean, great location.

I kid you not, I only stayed there for about 4 hours and they charged me 120… abuse at it's worst. But what can you do at 1am with a road weary wife. Anyways, the continetal breakfast was old. Bagels were solid hard, orange juice was stale and I didn't even try the coffee. Go to denny's across the street.

Horrible Experience! All the suites need a upgrade. There's hardly any parking. Some staff were RUDE. Continental breakfast was ok but their wasn't enough seating. Rooms smelled like smoke. Floors were uneven so I fell in a hole in room 217. Drapes were broken. Only if you are in a crunch and need a quick place to stop for a night then a MAYBE, otherwise; spent your dollar somewhere else.

It was an experience all right. Not enough sheets on the beds and when we asked for more they did not bring them. We had to go get them. Not enough towels. We found shower that did not work. Poop on the toilet. Stains in tub. Sticking stuff on the carpet. Food under the bed. Cob webs on the ceiling. Dirty walls everywhere. I am glad tomorrow is the last day here. I will never stay at another Travel Lodge again.

If I could leave no stars I would. Parking lot too small for the rooms they have. Had a hard time finding parking. Checked into room. Was suppose to be two queen beds. Only one and a pull out. No extra blankets or sheets for pull out. When to get some at the front desk and was told that the blankets are under lock and key and only day staff had a key. Next day, No in room coffee machine, as it says on the site and on the advertisement on the phone. When out for the day, got back in after dinner, walked in to the room it was very clear room serve had not been there. After a long day and trying to relax at around 9pm got a knock on the door asking if we needed towels. Just towels. Could have been out of other stuff but thats all they asked about at 9pm. The best part was checking out and leaving. Sadly I left my pillow there, and have been trying to get it back for about 3 weeks now. Took me a week to actually track down the pillow and then was told even after I explained the crappy serve I had that I would have to pay for shipping on it. The manager didn't seem to even care about any the issues above. Probably use to complaints. Finally talked him to to shipping my pillow to me with out having to pay for it and I am doubting it ever got sent out. Terrible customer serve. I would never at a travelodge again, I would rather sleep in my car.

Nice staff, that's all this place has going for it. Hotel in very poor shape.

This hotel was very accommodating and pet friendly. They have a workout room and a nice contintal breakfast. It might not be the newest hotel — but staff is friendly and room very clean. I would stay here again — no questions asked.

Be very careful how you book — you may well lose your money. I tried to book this hotel online. The website was down — I then booked over the phone. What wasn't clearly explained was that my reservation was non refundable. In fact there was no cancellation or even a change of date allowed. I am now having my credit card company fight the good fight for me (yes really) as the hotel refused to bend or assist me with getting my money back from the reservation company.

Booked a room. Pay for it. Go there and find out we don't have a room when we are checking in. They don't hold reservations. Worst customer service.

The best part of staying here, is leaving. We weren't able to make it to our hotel in Banff due to stormy weather, so we pulled off thinking this might be a nice motel/ cheap alternative. Hotel was not exactly cheap (but still sub $100). Lobby area was nice, but after getting off the elevator it was apparent that this hotel is poorly taken care of. Hallway carpets, walls, and ceilings are all stained with various substances. Room was okay, but obvious that linens hadn't been properly cleaned nor had the bathroom been cleaned. It looks like whoever owns this little motel has little pride of ownership — — and that really bothers me. Overall I didn't get a good nights rest — — — which probably had something to do with the beds that were not really soft, not really hard, but hard to describe — — just plain uncomfortable. This is the last time I try to save money and stay with Travelodge. and was extremely dirty. Hallways have stained carpets and walls have a lot of dirt on them. Overall, this is about what I'd expect from a $30/ night motel.

I booked this hotel because it was relatively inexpensive and I was only spending one night there and didn't feel the need for anything fancy. I hesitated after reading the reviews but decided to brush it off because I figured other people may have different expectations than I do. I'm glad I did, because I found it nice! My room had a queen bed, and I was surprised that the room and bathroom were small, but it suited my needs. I found the room to be clean and smelled like it had been cleaned recently. The air conditioning was nice. There are lots of things to do in just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The breakfast in the morning was nice and so was the pool if you go at a non-busy time. I was satisfied with the experience overall.

Worst hotel experience ever! After an overly difficult and prolonged booking process, we finally managed to get a room. Upon arrival we discovered the lamps were unplugged from the outlets, the phone wss unplugged (and didn't work when it was plugged in either) TV had a couple channels that worked, but the batteries in the remote were corroded, pillows and blankets were missing, blankets that were there were tattered and dirty and there was no toilet paper in the washrooms. Front desk staff was apparently unable and unwilling to do anything about the majority of the issues, so our two night stay ended after approximately 1 hr and 45 mins. Definately will never stay at a Travelodge again, highly recommend avoiding this one at all cost.
