Hotel is very nice and we have enjoyed every time we have been here.

We stayed in this hotel, 3rd floor in second building. There was water running in the roof, starting about 11 pm and ran until 7 am. It was loud and was constant all night long I also complained both nights but no one seemed to care. No offer to move rooms, no accommodation, no call from the manager either. Have videos of the water noise from the night very frustrated guest.

Love this hotel. All employees we encountered were polite and accommodating. Annette at front desk was amazing. Sage & Co Market Bar had the best food from breakfast to Dinner. The staff was friendly there as well. We stayed 6 nights over the last 2 weeks just because of the service we received after the first time we stayed. Will definitely stay again.

What a wonderful date night! From the first phone call to check-in and beyond, the staff have been attentive and beyond helpful! Super friendly and amazingly accommodating, highly recommended any function you have to be done here!

My son and I stayed here and we had a lovely welcoming note signed to both him and I along with some individually wrapped treats/drinks. We were able to reserve ourselves time slots for the pool and it was great to have the whole pool to ourselves. The staff were super friendly and very informative! The shampoo/conditioner/body wash smelt amazing, the room was sparkling clean and the bed was so comfy for a perfect nights sleep. I can not wait to come back here with the rest of my family sometime soon! Highly recommend 👌

Super fun staycation! We’ve been missing swimming during Covid so when we heard they opened the pool we decided to book a night. We were able to score 2 swim times. My son was ecstatic! Great, clean rooms, we watched the pool area being sanitized, overall a great night away!

We had an AWESOME experience at the Contact-free Robbie Burns night hosted in the Atrium, looking down from our personal balconies. My business partner got the room next door and we got to bring all our kids and they loved it too! Thank you so much for such a great experience!

Quality of this hotel is not what it once was. They only clean the rooms twice a week, no one at the Atrium Front Desk, main front desk doesn't answer the phone, and had to get my key re keyed 4 times.

Check-in was safe and easy. Service at the bar was outstanding. Patio is amazing.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and only have good things to say. The concierge is friendly and responsive. The beds are comfortable and suites are spacious. The pool and water slide is perfect for our family. Location is wonderful in the city, offering central points of access to wherever you need to go.

Way overpriced, unhelpful staff, no breakfast items available, no information given upon arrival or in room. Couldn’t access club lounge, which we paid for and so many other issues. Don’t recommend. Many great hotels in Calgary with way better service for a way better price, don’t settle for this.

We had our wedding at the Delta south they treated us so well. The food was absolutely wonderful everyone commented that it was the best wedding dinner they had ever had. They do everything to make our day perfect and they did. Thank you to Tracey and all the staff you were awesome!

Great place to stay. I especially enjoyed the walk-in shower and the comfy bed. Bonus points for reading pillows! The food for my group was terrific, and it was fun to meet chef Roger when he brought us pastries and fruit with chocolate dip at break time. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Only thing missing is an airport shuttle…

It was a nice stay and it was really calm, it’s close to good stores and restaurants.

Absolutely love this hotel in Calgary. Has always been the favourite for me and the kids! Outstanding friendly service. You feel special as soon as you walk in the door. We got some special surprises in our room — our own decorated Christmas tree, a beautiful fruit plate and cookies! Can’t say enough about the restaurant breakfast! Our poolside room is the best! The girl that booked our room for us was great! We will be back again after our 5th Christmas here!

Went for a friend's wedding! The service was pretty good. Except the food was a bit cold but that might be because they left it out for too long. The basement rooms were really hot if not vented well. They ended up bringing fans in to vent the basement rooms.

Went for the writers convention. Had a great time. Swimming facilities were phenomenal and the rooms were very spacious and had all manner of amenities. The front desk staff was amazing and so helpful! Would recommend staying here in the future!

Stayed at this hotel for five nights when visiting the Calgary Stampede. I am a tour manager and we had a two groups of 45 people, 90 in total from the UK. The rooms were nice and spacious and have recently refurbished. The breakfasts had plenty of choice and the waiters and waitresses were very pleasant and helpful. Alonso and his staff went out of there way to help us, The world cup quarter finals were on and England were playing, Alonso organized in the room next to the breakfast area a big screen and projector, He also brought his laptop to broadcast the match onto the screen while we were having breakfast and England won their match. We cannot thank him enough for going to so much trouble for us. I am looking forward to staying at the hotel next year when the Stampede is on again. I would defiantly recommend this hotel as the C — train is only a 10 minute walk and there are a lot of shops and restaurants close by. Harold (tour manager)

Good hotel, convenient location.

If I could give them a 10 star rating, I WOULD! I have been staying with this hotel off an on for business in the past and currently, my husband spends the most time at this hotel due to work. This hotel has a refreshing "home" like feel and is always clean. Rooms have been upgraded and the beds are SUPER comfy!. The staff are super friendly and are prepared to go above and beyond for ALL your needs. With the points program they have in place, we quickly became platinum members. Gaining access to club lounge which offers an amazing breakfast (free) in the morning & appetizers around dinner time. The hotel has also gone over and above and fulfilled our request for a bagged lunch so we don't have to eat out at fast food or restaurants when we are away from home. I have stayed at my fair share of 5 star and 5 Diamond hotels and they don't even come CLOSE to the experience I get when staying at the Delta. We are going to be life Long customers of this hotel chain. Thank you for always making our experiences completely OUT OF THIS WORLD!

Always a pleasant stay. The hotel is clean, has recently renovated rooms, and has very helpful staff. You need to check in on the "Tower" side, even though your room may be in the "Atrium. " Very well located for moving around Calgary, especially for the Stampede grounds.

The recent renovations, staff and pool at the Delta Calgary South make this a really great place for a family getaway or business travel. I've been here for both. What I particularly appreciated was getting greeted at the front desk like a VIP… Mr. _____ how can we make your stay more memorable? I just got the feeling like I was appreciated, which it seems is becoming more and more rare to get in the world of "do it yourself" travel. I stay at many hotels — and the staff and amenities at Delta South were memorable… and very comfortable. Highly recommended.

At a business function at the Delta South, I'm there often for them and I'm always impressed! The rooms are always bright, comfortable and the right temperature; food is plentiful and excellent; staff are always around discreetly clearing and the hotel is lovely. The staff are always cheerful yet quiet in our meetings. I also appreciate the fact the hotel is easy to get to with plentiful, free parking! I'm always pleased when I see our meetings scheduled for Delta South as I always enjoy my time there.

We come to Calgary twice a year and have always stayed at the Delta. Helpful staff, very clean, and a variety of amenities. They have upgraded our room in the past for free as a thanks for loyalty which was highly appreciated. Highly recommended.

It's a large hotel that spans across the street with a raised walkway. It would be a good hotel for a Family Getaway with multiple pools, hotubs and water slides for the kids. It's also a conference center able to handle small, medium or large events. The staff is very good and professional. The rooms are fairly modern and well-appointed. Delta hotels is now a part of Marriott so the service is consistent with the Marriott brands.

Stayed for hockey tournament. The Atrium restaurant staff went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. The breakfast was amazing and rooms clean and everyone was helpful and friendly.

Overall we had a good stay. The facilities were a good fit for what we needed as we were in Calgary for a soccer tournament and travelling as a team. The breakfast was very average and the eggs tasted like powered eggs more suited for prison than an enjoyable family breakfast. Our room was close to the restaurant so it was pretty noising first thing in the morning so maybe check that before booking. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable so no complaint there. The private lounge was a nice bonus. Happy Hour with open bar and really fantastic snack food! Would highly recommend the lounge although the breakfast wasn't any better there than the main buffet.

Brutal Service from the Hotel Management. Asked for a the hotel manager to call me twice now and both times my requests have been neglected. Spoke with Marsha and she said she would relay the message via email to the hotel manager. Guess that never happened or someone was “too busy” handling all the other issues which I suspect are many.
It’s been 2 days and the customer service sucks. I still have not heard anything back. Can’t wait to hear their shitty excuses in this forum. If you’re in management reading this — get on it fast. Next stop corporate. But wait… let me guess… you don’t have my contact information? Go figure. Somebody lost it after giving out to “supervising managers” twice. What a disappointment.

Rooms were comfortable, staff and service exceptional! Nicole made the lounge feel like we were at home in our living room. Even had some luck in the mini casino.

We really enjoyed our stay. The concierge was very kind and helpful, in addition to the hotel staff being friendly. The room was spacious and very comfortable, and the amenities were great.

We have used this hotel for several years to celebrate my daughters birthday and all the staff has been great but I wanted to mention one standout. Last year we checked in as normal and while the kids were enjoying some pool time with dad I went for a beer and a Mom break in the lounge. While there I had a great chat with Nicole who was attentive and accommodating. This year we were back and when I walked in for my mom break again she remembered me, what I drank, and followed up with our conversation from the previous year. Made me feel like an old friend. Just wanted to say thanks and hope this message reaches her.

Room was clean and Modern. Did not like the clear glass shower or the non locking bathroom door. Breakfast at the atrium was good every day we stayed. They have a decent water slide pool and a secondary pool in the Atrium. Our swimmers did have issues with the chemical balance in the pool. Many had quite a bad rash afterwards. They were accommodating to our team with a group rate and hospitality room. Would stay again.

This is bar far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. They're very accommodating, friendly, caring, trustworthy and were beyond our expectations. Ayoub not sure if that is how you spell his name, was a super star. We were celebraiting my husbands birthday, we found out some amazing news, and he was so caring he ordered me a cheesecake to my room! Right down to check in and check out. Will recommend this hotel to everyone.

The staff were super nice. We were actually late for the event and they were cleaning up the food. The staff grabbed an extra plate and brought out some of the mains so that we could eat. They were attentive to our needs and made sure we were well taken care of.

Very friendly and helpful staff. And the location is great if you're going to be visiting or working places in the south side. Rooms are comfortable and in line with the Marriott brand. Definitely recommend.

Nicely appointed rooms; clean modern lines in the furnishings, amenities. Friendly staff. Good food in the restaurant/room service. Little snacks in the lobby were a nice surprise (thanks for the Smarties). Only downside is you can't turn the fan down or off in the rooms and it's a bit loud. My preference would be for windows that could be opened or at least the ability to turn the fan down. Not a huge deal…

As an event planner that works with many hotels in the City of Calgary I need to write this review to say how wonderful this hotel is. The staff have gone over and beyond for my three day event but also have gone over and beyond prior to the event. The cleanliness of the hotel is incredible the service is impeccable and the food is exquisite. Thank you to Arlene, Maria, Dan and Islam for making my event a giant success and taking amazing care of my clients and myself.

I was at the hotel for a training session with work, our room was in the Atrium part of the hotel. My session was only from 6:00-8:00pm so I wasn't expecting much but when I arrived (after getting directions from 2 very friendly/helpful staff members) I was pleasantly surprised to see a layout of several appetizers, hot beverages and beautiful fruit waters! The food was delicious, drinks were amazing and plentiful! The room was comfortable and I saw staff doing things behind the scenes to keep us happy. I was very impressed with the whole experience!

Had the best costumer service. The manager is incredible, the hole place was nice and unbelievably accommodating. Everyone should go stay at least one night. Well well worth it.

We recently had our wedding here and it was sensational! Arlene Garcia and her team are so easy to work with. There was very little stress on our big day. All my guests raved about the food. The staff were quick and accommodating. If you're looking for a venue for your next occasion contact Arlene. I know you won't be disappointed. ~jm.

While the room was requested to be in a quiet area (it wasn't) it more than made up for it in comfort. The bed and pillows are fantastic. The room was very clean and spacious. The shower was supposed to be a highlight (based on the in-room TV promo), water pressure was iffy and stepping out of the shower, there was water all over the floor. Okay, sounds like more complaining than praise, I'm still giving this hotel 4-stars. Terrifically comfortable room and bed as well as extremely friendly staff warrant a high rating. Would definitely stay again.

I have had a lot of ups and downs with this hotel. Let me start by saying that the rooms are gorgeous! They were just renovated and they are beautiful. I stayed in the loft suite and it was perfect for getting ready the morning of my wedding with enough hair and makeup space for everyone. When we went to see the hotel we met with Maria and she made us feel super confident and comfortable with the hotel so we booked our block. We were told that we could only book 10 rooms at a time and that they would email us when the block was full so we could book 10 more rooms. Well they didn't. My aunt was the one that told me there were no more rooms at the hotel. I had to actually go down to the hotel to raise a fuss before they even seemed to care that they had not communicated with me and even then they just passed the blame to other people. My guests had a really hard time getting through to book the hotel room because no one answered the phone or they would transfer the call and no one would pick up. It was really frustrating for me to hear that my guests were having a hard time because I really didn't have time to micromanage this portion of the planning as I was planning my wedding almost by myself. We got to the wedding weekend and everything was flawless but the road to get there was a bit rocky and it was something that could have been avoided.

Wedding ceremony in the atrium was beautiful and tear down after was speedy but respectful. Reception was in the Nakiska room and it was amazing. The setup and the service and the food was absolutely amazing.

Great place to get married! The event coordinator was very helpful and the day went off without a hitch on the hotel's part. Probably the most reasonably priced venue in Calgary, and super flexible in terms of the menu.

The bed is comfortable and the rate is decent, but the rest of the room isn't quite up to Delta standards. The air-conditioning seems old and can barely keep the room to 20°C (68°F) on a day that barely cracked 21°C (70°F), I had to troubleshoot/rebuild the ironing board, and some of the bathroom fixtures weren't solidly attached. Overall, not horrible, but not what I'd expect.

Food was great and the service was okay too However, at the time of reservation or at least on their website, I would have appreciated a heads-up about the price increase for Easter buffet, compared to the "regular Sunday buffet. All in all, a good time.

Despite not knowing the waterslide was under construction when I made my reservation and already checked in just to find out… when I talked to the staff about my and the kids disappointment… they step up to the best costumer service I have had in a long time… their friendly helpful staff and amazing compensation was so greatly appreciated. And going above and beyond making my girl and her friend (both 8 yrs old) feel like superstars was so awesome. Thank you thank…

Attended a social event. The food was pretty good however special dietary requirements were a bit disorganized. Room and staff were pretty good.

Recently held a corporate meeting for 50 people. Limited time to plan, but they took care of the details with ease. Food was excellent — loved the suggestions they had! (Get the kettle chips! ) The atrium was the perfect sunny spot to take a lunch break. Didn't feel stuck in a dreary meeting all day with the relaxing setting of the atrium right outside our door. Ended the day with a change in venue, but stayed in the hotel! Just moved to the Boomtown restaurant. We were able to enjoy cocktails in a private patio and a small awards ceremony in a private room. Staff was beyond great. Billing was an ease. Room stays were modern, clean, comfortable. And all the amenities you need for corporate travel. Couldn't ask for more!

Amazing staff. This is the only hotel my family will stay at in Calgary. Minor problems (if they happen) are always dealt with quickly and professionally.

Grandparents stayed there for two nights. Reasonably priced, very accessible, lovely view. One of my favorite hotels and I recommend it to everyone visiting from out of town.

We booked an event for 50 people with under two weeks notice and they were great. The food was great. We've been for brunch several times. Often taking a single table but also with 20 people.

I was not at the hotel as a guest. I was conducting business there for a short time The staff that I dealt with were courteous and professional. I also found the decor of the lobby and meeting rooms quite nice. Classy and chic without being overstated.

Attended a work related retirement party. The facilities were well decorated and clean, food was excellent, staff were attentive, and I didn't have any problems finding parking. Overall I was pleasantly surprised as it was my first time at this hotel.

The beds are a little hard, but other than that the two pools are really nice and I enjoyed the in hotel restaurant and breakfast buffet. House keeping was really nice and I liked the TV selection. Wi-Fi was a little spotty though which was a little annoying.

My office quarterly retreat was held there. Water wasn't replaced throughout the day. We had to go couple of time to the reception to ask for the water to be replaced. Staffs are friendly but I really wish they would be more attentive.

Service was very good and friendly. We were served our food in a timely manner and all staff was extremely friendly. Some servers came to check in us even when they weren't our assigned server.

Liked its customer service. Staff were very helpful. Just didn't like the location of the room, its windows opened to the pool and it was noisy outside.

Great friendly staff. But: 1. The INTERNET connection is very poor, keeps cutting and reconnecting on both my LATPTOP and my IPhone, 2 nights in a row 2. At the lounge I had the most expensive hamburger ever… : $ 16 for a TEENBURGER LOOK ALIKE… + $ 2.00 for a Cesar salad that was basically LETTUCE, a slice of Lemon, Romano Cheese and oil… (not my definition of a CESAR SALAD) … and a piece of toasted garlic bread on top… 3. On the other hand very nice breakfast priced reasonably. So overall a 3. As MARRIOTT property I would humbly suggest they UPDAE themselves, in this day and age INTERNET MUST WORK FLAWLESS, and the restaurants have to offer reasonable plates for the money they ask.

Delta Calgary South hosted our annual company Christmas party. The venue and meal were excellent. The staff were very friendly and available to assist with anything we needed and the hotel room we stayed in was clean and comfortable.

Price for one room was pretty good! Felt like a small scale luxury room during our stay. Stayed in the Atrium building and was pleasantly surprised when we saw there was a pool. Breakfast in the cafe was delicious and decently priced. I'd stay again if I was passing through.

I recently stayed at the Delta and I was very impressed with the hotel, the staff, the rooms and how they dealt with large groups (teams). I had an issue with my air conditioning in the room one night but they were able to get it up and running within 10 minutes and also provided my family with free breakfast in the Atrium the next morning for the inconvenience. I would advise any teams that are travelling through Calgary to seriously consider the Delta South.

I recently stayed four nights at the Delta Calgary South. Overall, it was a great experience. I stayed in one the Modedeluxe rooms on the Atrium side of the hotel. The room was very well appointed with a great bed, lots of pillows, big screen TV (with attachments to plug in laptops) and excellent shower. I ate breakfast in the club lounge once and at the Atrium Cafe the next day. The club lounge attendant was very polite and attentive. Service in the Atrium Cafe was also great. I enjoyed the made to order omelette station. I also ate at the Pub Style restaurant attached to the hotel called Boomtown. Again, I was very pleased with the food and service. I recommend the pizza, french dip sandwich and for beer, a great local beer called Village Blacksmith was outstanding. Thank you to the DCS staff for a nice stay.

We got married here in 2011, one of the best places we looked at for the reception and ceremony! We even were granted a room for the night and it was really nice! I would highly recommend the Delta south. They also put out a really nice Sunday brunch.

Great hotel and very friendly staff! Love the buffet and the fact that our 2yr old eats for free.
