Such a lovely resort along the river in Timphu. We have a great room from where we could see the river from all our windows. Nice spa. Just loved the place.

Very Good except for the fact that there was no air conditioning system which is a must during this time of the year. Also quality and variety of food needs to be improved.

Having brakefast to dinner sitting in the restaurent located just at the edge of the rever is a great feeling. The construction of the buildings are nice example of contemporary Bhutanese architecture will surely draw your respect and the interior is elegent with lovely Bhutanese flavour present everywhere.

Very spaces room with nice garden along flowing river. Just a bit pricey and Wi-Fi service really sucks so you do need your own mobile data.

Wish I could rate 25 stars on 5! This place is simply adorable. Simple yet breathtaking architecture. The rooms are huge though with a very plain design. Can't resist talking about their staff… they are just too adorably hospitable. Their restaurant is very tastefully designed and food is sumptuous. The chef makes it a point to interact with his guests and respectfully take feedback. No words to describe the location!

Just like a fairy tale place as if straight from a book, Terma Linca is situated at the bank of Himalayan River Wangchhu. Along with this, the mountains, greeneries and pollution free environment around have made the perfect set for the resort. The moment I stepped in I was literally gaping at the awesome nature’s beauty around and Terma Linca just the cute little queen in the middle. From smiling reception with traditional way welcoming to spacious and lovely rooms, this place is a must for people who want peace and a serene surrounding. The in-room service was perfect, the staffs were amazing, and the gym centre and the spa room were divine. Be it prompt service on call or customisation of food, Terma Linca rocks!

One of the most beautiful places I have stayed in. Rooms are unbelievable comfortable, the view of the river and mountains from the room is awesome! The food is lip smacking, the ambience is serene, calm and wonderful. All the people here are so warm helpful, polite and always smiling and greeting everyone. I would love to come back here.

Words can't express how great this place is. The staff is so friendly and kind. An experience on its own. The restaurant is great too. Rooms with an amazing view of mountain tops and flowing river. A heavenly abode one might say.

One of the best resorts to chill out. The location is awesome, just beside the river. It is tricky to get into the river but there are a couple of spots from where you can reach the river. The massage is worth the price. The food was good and the service is best in class. The staff is always smiling and their smile is contagious! The rooms are big and all of them face the river. Tip: ask for room on first floor for a better river view.

A great and serene place… If you want to talk to a river, its the place! you can meet HH queen mother also, if you are lucky or request the hotel manager for a meeting with her highness!

Its 4 — 5 star hotel. Bt I really feel when u are in Bhutan u should really not stay in 4 or 5 star hotel my view bt Reviewing this hotel it is really Good.

Considers itself as a 5 star, but it is definitely not. The building is superb (the grey stone and wood), the deluxe room (n°108) with a view of the river is very spacious, the site in edge of river Thimphu Chhu is very beautiful facing the mountain. Magnificent corridor of exposed stone to reach the rooms. Good bedding (king size bed) and large closet slide to open side-by-side two suitcases. But the sheet is too short to cover the entire mattress! The room smells a little like stale smoke, and the plugs do not work the first night, except for the TV (one advertisement 54 strings, but many don't display anything). No night table to the right of the bed, a single bedside lamp. Height : no switches to turn off the light in the room, the contact is done by an electronic key, it is necessary to move and use the bathroom in the dark at night except to wake up his spouse to turn on the bedside of his side. We will discover the next morning that the switches are hidden behind one of the pillows along the mattress (even the staff called to the rescue the night before did not know). Products courtesy complete in the bathroom, but no soap near the single sink. The flush does not work if the shower is in use. The bar is of a sadness without a name in the evening, either at 18: 30 or after 20: 00, no ambiance and no bartender or staff. The worst? The restaurant.

One of the best tourist resort away from busy city. You will enjoy serene stay by the riverside. Hosts conferences and dinners. Has large parking space and a large conference hall with great hospitality and friendly staff.

Amazing view rooms and service. The management is part of royal family and the employees are genuine. A must stay!

Fantastic Riverside place Restaurant on one end was somewhat task to walk yet the food quality made us to forget that walking strain Courtsey was the moto which Terma vows and abides will definitely visit again in a different climate. Thanx and hats off.

Tranquil and Close to Nature — Visited this resort in November 2016. The property lies on the banks of a small river steam, and is no less than a paradise. Located a bit far away from Thimpu city, it is in the midst of nature with the river flowing against the backdrop of the mountains and one can sit for hours by the riverside watching the beauty of nature. The Chu (river in Bhutenese) is visible from the rooms, and you can hear the roaring water. The resort has lush green cover, dotted with local trees. It has the traditional Bhutanese architecture yet interior is all modern, which is well maintained. Excellent service by the staff. There is a river facing bar, for those whole like to enjoy a few drinks in the lap of nature. Food here was not that tasty, but I am not complaining — I wasn't here for the food. Tip: 1. Opt for the room on first floor, to get amazing river view. 2. Do not expect great Indian food. 3. Take some time out to meditate and do yoga in the meditation area. 4. Do sit and enjoy in the chairs placed below the tress just besides the stream — you can not have a more romantic setting than this (see the pictures) 4. Do not eat the strawberry like fruit found in the local trees. It tastes awful.

What a place to relax in busy Thimphu. By Wangchu Chu excellently maintained grounds. Wonderful rooms from where you can see nature.

The Riverside luxury hotel that you can die for. Quiet place with just the sweet sound of the river.

Perfect location, great rooms, but… very mediocre service and not too bother by the hospitality staff. Avoid credit card payment.

Nice, modern hotel located about 10 minutes of town. We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed both, although the resort did have a bit of a ghost-town feeling as we saw less than five guests during our two days there. The rooms are very large and all of them overlook the river (an awesome view! ). TV and internet reception (not that you care about it that much while in Bhutan) are a bit spotty and the Wi-Fi signal worked intermittently while we were there. Though the staff lacks experience in some areas (e. G. The Spa treatments), they more than make up for it with enthusiasm and effort. That said, if you’re looking for at true 5-star experience, you’re probably better off staying at the Taj Tashi (Thimpu) or the Zhiwa Ling (Paro).
