I had the pleasure of staying here for my first visit to Thimphu and I had a wonderful time. The location is unmatched and central to everything. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the large windows offer beautiful views of the city. We could even see the Buddha Dordenma from our corner room.
The staff here are so friendly and helpful. Tshering is an incredible host whose hospitality and kindness made my first visit to Bhutan so lovely and memorable. Book your room here — you won’t regret it!

I throroughly enjoyed my stay at Thimphu Towers 🤩 the rooms are so so spacious, comfy beds, multiple floor-to-ceiling windows and great views, especially from the corner rooms. The location is excellent, right in the heart of heart town, and the service was great. The staff worked with me to serve me breakfast early as I was fasting for ramadan, and I really appreciated this.
Lastly, the owner Tshering was an outstanding host to our group, ensuring and insisting that all our needs were met! I would stay again ☺️

I thoroughly enjoyed my week-long stay at Hotel Thimphu Tower! Friendly staff, spacious and clean rooms with all the amenities, and great food at the restaurant too! There's also an Institute of Happiness on the 6th floor that everyone should check out! I highly recommend it to all future travelers passing through Thimphu!

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Thimphu. Couldn’t be a better location right in the center of town next to the clock tower. Beautiful view of the Buddha Dordenma in the distance. Walkable to lots of restaurants, coffee shops, a great handicraft market, the Royal Textile Museum & Academy, etc. Hospitality is top notch, rooms are clean and comfortable, and there is a focus on sustainability and women’s empowerment. Would definitely stay there again.

I had an amazing stay. Room was really spacious, and filled with sunshine during the day. The Wi-Fi was a minor issue — I stayed on the 4th floor and connection was not great inside the room. That said, the most special part of my stay is the warm hospitality from Tshering and her staff. Everything went extra smoothly thanks to Tshering's help, and she was always willing to assist. I greatly appreciate her support.

My experience here was unparalleled in best in class hospitality. The host, Tshering, is the most kind and caring person you could ever meet and went the extra mile to provide care when I was not feeling well.
The staff was incredibly caring and thoughtful, including prompt laundry and room service. On top of that, you couldn’t ask for a better location in Thimphu with nice spacious rooms. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Thimpu Tower is lovely. The food was great. You’re right in the center of the city and close to a lot of great stores and bars. The football stadium is beautiful. Tshering is a lovely host and a great person to meet. All the staff are very nice and I had a great time.

Great recommendations for things to do around the city. If you get to met her, Tshering is the best part — she's warm and a fantastic ambassador for the city. My stay here was unlike any other. Hotel Thimphu Tower is THE BEST place to stay in all of Thimphu. The manager, Tshering, is the kindest host in all of Bhutan and her staff was so kind and made me feel very at home. Their food was delicious, the rooms were clean, the laundry was quick, and the views from the room were beautiful. It’s also centrally located so you can walk to many good restaurants and bars. If you stay in Thimphu, I insist you must stay here.

Great food and the kindest staff! Many rooms overlook the clock tower square and golden Buddha which make for such a special wake up. The service was exceptional: warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. I loved the hotel’s mission-driven approach, especially their commitment to hiring and financially empowering local women, which made the experience feel even more meaningful. The breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort with purpose.

Hotel Thimphu Tower is perfectly located by the clock tower and was a great spot for us to stay while visiting the city and surrounding areas. The people working there were especially wonderful, going above and beyond to help us and ensure we had an enjoyable stay. There’s a cute ice cream and waffle cone place right outside the hotel that made for a nice aroma every time we left and returned (which tempted us to get some on one or two occasions). Highly recommend!

The best place to stay in Thimphu and Bhutan! The hospitality in which the staff and owners of the hotel receive you is outstanding. The location is the best a place could have in the middle of Thimphu. Highly recommended 5/5. Best experience I had. Ask for Tshering, she is truly the best :)

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hotel Thimphu Tower in June 2024. Everything, from the rooms to the restaurant, is extremely well thought out and comfortable. The staff are lovely as well.
I highly recommend this hotel for your next visit to Thimphu. You can't beat the quality or the location.
