The hotel location is prime just close to the market. The staff was very friendly and prompt. I came here to celebrate my son’s birthday… they not only arranged for the cake but celebrated together with us. They made my trip memorable…

Our experience of staying here for two nights was wonderful.
The best aspect of this hotel is the hospitality — all the attendents and staff are very friendly and welcoming.
The second thing to appreciate is the food — very tasty, yet simple and easy on the stomach.
The main Thimphu market is walking distance so you can just take a walk to explore the entire market.
Overall, a very pleasant stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying for two nights at Khamsum Inn in Thimphu, Bhutan, and my experience was nothing short of delightful. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm smiles and genuine Bhutanese hospitality that immediately made me feel at home. The staff at Khamsum Inn go above and beyond to ensure guests feel comfortable, and their courteousness truly sets the tone for a memorable stay.
The location of the hotel is one of its biggest advantages. Situated conveniently in the heart of Thimphu, it allows easy access to many of the city’s attractions, shops, and cafés. I was able to walk to several local landmarks, explore the weekend market, and enjoy the lively streets of Thimphu without worrying about transportation. Despite being centrally located, the hotel maintains a peaceful and pleasant environment once you step inside.
What impressed me most was the personal touch in service. The staff were always ready to assist — whether it was arranging a cab, suggesting local places to visit, or simply checking if everything was in order. Their warmth and sincerity truly embody the Bhutanese spirit of hospitality.
During my two-day stay, I also appreciated the small details that enhanced my comfort — from the prompt room service to the seamless check-in and check-out process. The lobby area was inviting, and I often found myself relaxing there with a cup of Bhutanese tea after a day of sightseeing.

Great service! Rooms are good not great! Two girls Choki and Pema were helpful and cordial. One day on request they prepared us local food of our choice.

As they didn't have availability for my dates, as a vegan and this being the only vegetarian hotel in town, I only went to their restaurant for lunch and dinner. The place is clean, food tasty and the service was good but the wait time was long.

Everything was really good. Staff, food, service and the environment here was all lively. We all felt like staying in our own hometown.

I stayed here for 2 nights and had a really great experience. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast was also delicious with a good variety. Overall, I truly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting.

Best part is the team. Smiling facea. Great location, Great hospitality. The best option for the pure vegetarians.
Only suggestion if you could avoid even eggs (Though provided only on demand) never placed with buffet.

Loved this place a lot! Great rooms. Great people. Good books related to Bhutan. Lovely food. The only issue is that the wait time for food is a lot. That's because they make everything completely fresh but it takes way too long like 90 min. But great people nonetheless and beautiful place to stay in.

Awesome experience after staying in this hotel. Really from reception by Choki to all the service was excellent. Restaurant was also so nice and really good taste. Thanks all for the wonderful service and experience.

Place was very fantastic, along with veg food. Staff was very generous and friendly. They were always on toe to fullfil customer request. Would love to revisit and stay at same place. Also recommending people to visit the same.

A Wonderful Stay with Warm Hospitality!
I had a great experience staying at this hotel run by women's. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Food is also very good. What truly stood out was the hospitality—warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout my stay. It’s inspiring to see such a professionally managed place with a strong sense of care and dedication. Highly recommended.

We were group of 19 religious people with limited food preferences as we don't eat onion and garlic. They made food according to our taste and service was excellent and staff is very nice and friendly. Overall we had a great experience. This is 10/10 for the people who are vegetarians.
