Nice place and clean friendly staff.

So useless! tried to order room service at 4.15pm, there would be over an hour wait, decided to go to the restaurant to see if we could order for later. Yes sure could, placed order, confirmed time and paid, get a call at 9.10pm advising food was sitting too long can we order from the late night menu! um sorry when was the fold cooked? we declined to order from late night menu as our kids didn't like that and after the Padgent they were starving, they refused to cook what we ordered and paid for as the kitchen had been cleaned! NOT IMPRESSED ONE LITTLE BIT! We ended up having to get Macca's and now I have to wait for the money to be refunded! 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Fantastic place to stay they look after everyone and helped us out when our other place we was going to stay was dirty and the pull out bed was broken and nobody wanted to fix it.

Worst hotel in Perth, outdated terrible beds and uncomfortable pillows. Shower heads are the worst we have ever seen. And very noisy in the rooms can hear anything and everything around.

Great for functions and stay over.

Catering was dreadful. Menu not followed, food oily and too carb-laden.
Reception tried their best and were friendly and helpful.

Very good hotel including management team. Good hospitality observed during quarantine period. My heartiest appreciation be conveyed to all concerned. Well done keep it up.

These guys have done their absolute best to ensure my daughter and I have the most comfortable 2 week stay possible! food has been amazing… props to chef andrew who has gone above and beyond if I need to stay in perth again I will definitely stay here and under different circumstances im sure it will be even better! 5 stars from us.

Solo traveller, very safe. I really loved this hotel and the staff. Everyone there was really helpful and friendly, the rooms and area's in the hotel were very clean. My only disappointment is that I didn't book it for longer. Would definitely love to come back again one day. Thank you for my wonderful warm welcome to Australia.

Large comfortable rooms especially medium to long term stay for singles and couples, short to medium stay as family. Rooms are designed for comfort and study next to Perth courts.
Friendly and competent staff. Many food options around. Cafe serves really nice and healty food but pricey (deserves) for each night.
Check longterm rates with reception and compare to furnished renting options. Fridge is good size, staff will further help.
Perfect for cycling, walking, bus and train around.
After a long flight, Perth deserves to stay at least for a week. Discoveries each day & night in a clean city can be extended. At least another week to drive and see surrounds. Cheap car rental is easy.

Lovely comfortable double beds I twin room and a very nice shower. Good brekky and the function facilities very good. Was here for Waypaa.
Pity about the pool too deep and no easy access for my 89 year old mum.

Good hotel excellent breakfast and the fish and chips were so tasty.

The room was good but when I was check out, the staff in reception was very rude and impolite to guests. I felt uncomfortable with her behavior. Very disappointed service.

Food was great and service was good.

The staff are amazing, so helpful, friendly, and obliging. Rooms were generous with a bath and separate shower, clean, and great views from the generously large windows.
Beds weren’t really that comfortable but I’ve had worse. Air conditioning was lame for a big hotel in Perth.
Rooms included tea/coffee making facilities which I’ve always loved and a bar fridge to keep your drinks in.
Location is awesome next to law courts, 2 minutes walk to bus stop for free rides around Perth City, (the red cat bus) and just off St George’s Tce. 4 minutes walk to Royal Perth Hospital.
Breakfast was a huge buffet selection and food was fresh and delicious, including a large coffee machine.
Bar was cool but bar menu and restaurant menu for dinner and supper wasn’t appealing and the one bar meal I did have was soggy and uneatable.
Valet parking available, although disappointed there was no portico to park under as in our case it was pouring with rain and we had luggage and a cake to try and get inside without being drenched.
Over all, best experience with staff I’ve had in a long time, which made our stay easy.

I booked a room through Groupon for my Mum and I. We were very impressed with the room. The beds were very comfortable as were the pillows and the linen and room was immaculate. We had tea and coffee facilities. The staff at checkin were most welcoming as were the breakfast wait staff. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and we had late checkout and they held our bags until 4pm so we could explore the city. I would highly recommend and stay again.

Room old, hot and uncomfortable. Food in restaurant was poor at best and took 30 minutes between courses. Rather disappointing experience.

All staff very good, especially in the restaurant. Very kind and upgraded us as we were staying five days, and According members. Happy hour in the bar, cafe and dining room, free daily papers, urn of cold lemon water in the foyer, coffee machine in the room. What more could one want?

I stayed here for 2 nights. My room was fairly spacious and clean. The staff were nice. My only complaint was that the bar wasn't open at any time while I was at the hotel. It would have been great to get home from work and be able to have a drink. On Friday and Saturday nights when they advertise as being open until late I was suprised they were closed by 10pm. Given the location of the hotel there wasn't much open around it and with miserable weather it would have been great for our group to have had somewhere to have a drink and a bite to eat.

Conveniently located parking, the conference room was very big and we'll equipped with projectors and speakers. Staff were friendly and helpful. I attended a work conference here but would definitely consider staying in the future. Quite a good location, close enough to the City centre that you could walk.

I commend the staff who researched a problem I had with assisting me to understand the billing of their various establishments. The Mercure has a number of cafes apparently, so it has plenty of variety with its dining experience. I believe the customer service at this hotel is 5 star as the diligent staff were able to resolve even a small incident like mine. No job is too small for them and people can be reassured that the customer service here is great! I am not sure how many eateries are attached to the Mercure but there would seem to be suitable places for any occasion. Enjoy!

Very outdated suite. Non receptive receptionist. No closing time for bar. No room service breakfast. Poorly stocked mini bar.

Great hotel, nice rooms and in a good location. Didnt have to think too much about anything as it was all sorted. Which was great!

No microwave in room? Only thing we lacked as we staying for 6 nights. Our initial room was horrid due to the construction going on yet they happily changed our room even upgrading us to a king. Thanks alot guys you have made our stay more enjoyable.

This is a lovely hotel for a stay, but weekend away or even what they call a 'day stay' where you can hire a room for several hour while you wait for your flight exchange or just to have a micro holiday and get to use their amenities. They boast valet parking, and spa, sauna, gym, pool massages their great bar with happy hour and a lounge plus much, much more, the rooms are neat and clean with iron facilities, stocked bar fridge and tea and coffee to name a few. There is free Wi-Fi (A Must), large flat screen and roomy beds. In fact the rooms are just that — roomy, spacious and gives off the feeling of comfort. Nestled in the heart of the city, its in a great position to go site seeing. The Mercure is one of the top on my list, it should be on the top of yours.

Good location, easy walking distance to the mall. Large studio room, very spacious. No parking, valet only which is a pity. Staff were nice.

Established hotel that has stood the test of time located conveniently in the centre metro area. It was great to see the hotel is making changes to the building and facilities to support the modern requirements of the guests and lifestyles! Great restaurant in the foyer along with a separated bar and lounge area are complemented by ready and attentive staff, see you next time.

Great central location. Easy walk to Elizabeth Quay, Hay St Mall, Art Gallery, Northbridge with lots of places to eat within a 10 minute walk. I was in the East tower which I believe the rooms are a little bit older but still fairly recently refurbished. Clean and has all facilities you need. Breakfast was nice.

We spend our first Xmas day/boxing day away 2adults 3kids and hands down the best thing we could do ever! Since is 5 of us it’s hard to find accommodation for but The booking staff was really accommodating and gave us room with 2 double beds and 1 roll away bed which was fantastic. Once we settled in we decided to opt for valet parking since it’s easier for flat rate $35 rather then looking for optional parking in the area of the city plus they brought our car for us as many time as we wanted (and we did about 10x haha) directly in front of hotel.
We were very pleased with everything there accomodation clean basic coffee sugar milk to use in the room. Great facilities gym spa n roof top pool towels provided. Buffet breakfast was delicious and plenty to choose from.
Definitely recommend this hotel. :)

We enjoyed our stay here. Great location. Rooms are spacious and clean. All the staff we encountered were very kind, friendly, courteous and professional. We had a baby and my wife have food allergies and kitchen and restaurant staff were so accommodating. The restaurant serves up great food.

Base Camp! Had a Scoupon deal with this Hotel and it was reasonable value BUT for goodness sakes don't skimp on the beds! I have had better beds on mining camps than this place, I dreamt I was rolling down a hill all night because of the massive hollow in the mattress! Breakfast average at best, check was poor, locating was good and the pool area was refreshing. I would not like to pay full price for this place.

Was a great stay service was great dinner was average and would not ever recommend the breakfast buffet would be more likely to suggest McDonald's or hungryjacks glasses were dirty with food still on them scrambled eggs were greasier than the bacon chipolata were raw on the inside pancakes were dry and tasted like flour was absolutely the worst breakfast ever.

Lovely staff, great location. Walking distance to everything. Pool top pool awesome and warm. Breakfast buffet was fantastic, plenty to choice from and plenty of food. Room service excellent, clean fresh towels daily. Got an awesome deal. Very happy. Would stay again.

Our arrival was exceptional. We arrived early and were not surprised that our suite was not ready. The staff could not help us enough. Very courteous and efficient. My family and myself then went into Perth for a while until the room was ready. When we returned the reception was less sure of themselves. Not quite as comfortable. Other than that we cant complain although we were only there overnight.

Online check-in was a breeze. Notification text messages sent prior to arrival. Room key ready on arrival. Staff very friendly and courteous. Rooms well set out and importantly the bed and pillows were very comfortable for a restful nights sleep. Wish I could of stayed longer. Ideal location to visit Perths attractions.

Very pleasant and comfortable. Slightly random about housekeeping if you ask them to come back the first time round because you're still in bed, but quick to sort out if asked. Slightly noisy and thinnish walls, but comfortable beds, nice sized rooms. Bathrooms a little tired but adequate. Bar downstairs very pleasant.

We had a short but very comfortable stay. The room was spacious and comfortable. We wished we had more time to enjoy the pool and the gym. The service was friendly and helpful. Excellent all round.

Room was very large which we loved! We booked as it had a bath which I wanted. Disappointed there was no bottled water or snacks available in the mini bar. Pillow menu was excellent and bed was so comfortable. For the price we thought the room was great.

I stayed for 9 nights on a business trip and was looking forward to staying at another 4 star hotel as I have had nothing but good experiences in Perth. I have been looking for a hotel that accommodates all my needs while away from home. I arrived with a vehicle, not as easy to navigate too as other hotels then checked in and had to change rooms as the one I had smelled of sweat. Second room was ok but the overall state of the hotel is dated The pool was great and so was the Gym. The housekeeping was great! The restaurant was good and many other options around so convenient. The concierge service took long to get the car. I won't be staying at the Mercure again. Maybe if the price was way less. You get better for the same price elsewhere.

Convenient location — close to the place where I wanted to go. The foyer is nice and big, bright and welcoming. The welcoming staff was efficient, friendly and very respectful. Valet staff was courteous and efficient. Restaurant staff was very courteous and the food was very good in presentation and quite delicious. But the service was slow — with only us to serve, from 8.30pm until nearly 10.30pm before we left. The room was spacious with adequate supply of milk, tea and coffee and other — but an empty plastic cup lying on it's side, was found in the corner, where the writing table ends, near the window. Bed and linen was nice and clean with good supply of towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. It's a pity that the shower is over the bath tub, as this could be dangerous for the elderly. The wardrobe was a good size with all that is needed. TV was a good size with plenty of channels to choose from. Chairs were nice and comfortable. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

The room aircon was noisy with an at times load hum — need to change the bearings. Breakfast trays in the hallways at 6pm in the evening. Lift carpets were dirty and skewed. Reception and lobby looked tired and uninviting. Should have gone to MacDonald's for breakfast. Room was clean and bed comfortable. I would rate this property a 3 star only.

I regularly stay at this hotel and for the class of hotel it is its perfect. The Mecure Perth actually regularly out performs higher star rated hotels with service and food quality. It is exceptional value for money so well done to the team there.

Friendly reception, good overall service. Some of the floors are looking a little worn, as do the rooms. Everything clean though. No hot water for showers or basin for shaving, only warm at best. At check in time, there is little available stopping space outside as you may need to drive around the block a few times. Disappointing bar list with "craft beers" being imported and nothing craft. The only "craft" beer was White Rabbit and they no longer stock this. The craft beer industry in WA is very vibrant and deserves local support. Would probably come back again.

Excellent. I had a car accident on my way and the staff (especially Steven) were so considerate and caring. I was upgraded to a suite as my daughter had unexpectedly joined us. We even had a hot tub which was the best thing I could have imagined, it helped so much. We are always happy with the Mercure, that's why we come back but this time they went over and above. Thank you so much.

Check in was good as was the check out. We had dinner on the evening in the hotel. We would normally rate it 9 out of 10, however this time it was shocking. The food we received tasted like school dinner mush and was returned to have a salmon dinner instead. The salmon was served upside down and was under cooked, jelly like. The waitress took it away and asked if we wanted to replace it. We didn't. She was lovely and very sympathetic. She too agreed about the food. The pool was nice and clean as the room was.

Really good, staff are excellent. Rooms are satisfactory, gym is small but good (includes couple running and biking machines), pool is nice but tired surroundings, much like the general hotel. Nice and clean, decent sized rooms, would be a 5 star if the entire decor was brand new. Great location.

Stayed recently, 03/05/14 to 08/05/14, as I required a room with disabled facilities in a fairly central location. The disabled facilities were inadequate, as after removing my prothesis, I was completely unable to place it out reach of the shower spray, neither could I reach the towels after I had finished showering. In addition there was nothing to stop the water from draining into the bedroom, which meant that we had to use rolled-up towels. The meals were extortionately expensive and in the evenings the available tables in the dining area were too few, that problem could easily have been solved by using some the breakfast dining area.

They hosted a business meeting for us. It was very well done an went smoothly.

We stayed at the hotel for a night as we were attending an awards night at the casino. The location was great easy to find. The room we had on the 12th floor was clean, fresh and a good size. The night was also our anniversary and the hotel sent up some wine and chocolates complementary. Thank You it was a lovely surprise. Unfortunately we didn't get the time to try other facilities in the hotel but hope to be back for a longer stay. I only have one disappointment which was the parking for 1 night was $35 which I thought was a bit steep. Rachael.

The shower head was well below typical, making it difficult for a 6 ft person to shower comfortably. The bathroom sink took forever to drain. The newly renovated pool was incredibly filthy, so much so that we made the kids get out. No poolside towels were provided. Had to drip all the way back to our room, down the tower with the pool thru the lobby and back up our tower. For a inner city hotel, we were very disappointed. One saving grace, the staff was decent and accommodating.
