Hyde Perth

Stayed at Hyde Perth recently and it’s a beautiful new addition to Perth’s hotel scene. The rooms are incredibly spacious with a soft, calming design aesthetic, and I loved that they were completely blackout such a rare find and made for an amazing sleep. There was no annoying light from clocks, iPads, switches or other electronics like you often get in hotels, which made the room feel especially restful. The air conditioning worked brilliantly, and little touches like having a steamer in the room were really appreciated. Mine overlooked the pool which made it feel extra relaxing.
I had breakfast overlooking the pool most mornings and it was consistently delicious. The staff throughout the hotel were attentive, warm and friendly, which really elevated the stay. Room service was also great quality and very convenient.
One small downside was the storage setup. The rooms use more of an open rail design rather than traditional wardrobes, which personally isn’t my favourite. Fine for a shorter stay, but if you were staying long term you might find the storage space a little lacking.
A couple of things worth noting: while the surrounding area isn’t the prettiest part of Perth, most of the larger hotels are located around here anyway so it’s fairly standard for the city.
Parking is $25 per 24 hours, just make sure you grab enough tickets to cover your entire stay as it’s one ticket per day, which confused me a little at first.

I stayed at the hotel from April 22–27, and I wanted to share my sincere appreciation for the wonderful experience my group of three rooms had.
The food at restaurant, Farra, was consistently great. The team managed the breakfast service with warmth, making it the perfect start to each morning. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the offerings and the attentive nature of the staff, which created a welcoming atmosphere.
One comment about the safe found in the rooms. They should be bolted to the ground or the cupboards. No point keeping valuables there if you can carry the safe away.
The combination of great dining and good front office leadership made my trip to Perth memorable. Thank you to the entire team for your hospitality. I look forward to returning to Hyde Hotel in the future and will certainly be recommending it to others.

Hyde is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. It ticks every single box. It's luxury without feeling pretentious and stuck up. It's beautiful and cool, with lots of consideration taken for the smaller details.
The pool area is great and perfect for sipping cocktails. Pool was heated and clean. I liked the cabanas and I could order drinks to be delivered to me.
Loved the food from Farrah and enjoyed the room service a lot. It's not often you get fine dining Greek to your room, so be sure to try it.
My favourite part of Hyde was the rooms. I loved the free slippers (best ever) and all the small touches that make this place special… Like the locally sourced gourmet sodas, Bose speaker and handheld makeup light.
Highly recommend this to everyone staying in Perth.
While this place is family friendly… I wouldn't recommend it for kids. I'm a dad and I feel this place is more suited to adults, couples and business stays.

We came to check out the new Hyde Perth in the city and what a great vibe this place has. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt cool, stylish and welcoming. The décor throughout the hotel is beautiful and modern, and the rooms have a great layout — very comfortable and well designed.
A special mention to Daniel at the front desk who was very friendly and helpful during our stay, making everything easy and welcoming from the start.
We spent most of our afternoons relaxing by the pool which was a fantastic spot to unwind. The bartender Nash was excellent — very knowledgeable and able to make any drink we asked for. The bar snacks by the pool were also very tasty and perfect for an afternoon by the water.
Overall, my wife and I had a wonderful and relaxing stay. A fantastic new addition to the Perth hotel scene.

We stayed at Hyde for my partners Birthday weekend. The vibes inside the hotel were amazing. Truly felt like we were on holiday. The only let down would have to be the service at Farra during the breakfast service — my partner and I were sat down for 15mins before I went up to a staff member to ask to be served as we had been waiting, she said she would be with us shortly. The time passes and she’s seating other guests and taking orders for other tables. My partner then went up again and explained we had not be served yet and we have been waiting over 20mins at this point, offered no apology and said “I understand”. We further waited another 30mins for our food and drink to come out. I must say a shout out to Amelie (waitstaff at the breakfast session) who looked to be the youngest employee there yet was proving to be the most hospitable and customer focused. The other waitstaff need to work on their customer service and organisation. I understand they have only been open 1 week and there will be teething issues. But food and drink were being given to the wrong tables and there was no “system” as such in place. I do hope they put more staff on and improve on this as they have the potential to do so well.

Amazing ambience beautifully decorated rooms and the food is extraordinary.
As a multi year Diamond accor member I spend a fortune on accor hotels. I was charged $1200 bond for my 3 nights 2 lots of $600 accommodation. I have stayed in $1800 per night sofitel rooms and never had to pay a bond.
Few teething issues with TV and phones so had to move rooms. Couple or service issues at breakfast and the bar but apart from that the staff were tremendous 👌
I will return as I believe the hotel is definitely worth it.
Hopefully next time they have worked out all the lumps and bumps and I definitely highly recommended.
This hotel has brought life to Accor in Perth and is much needed.

World class service consistent with global hotels which often gets left behind in Perth. Hotel is quality and trendy with timeless mid century interiors! Great job team.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the newly opened Hyde Perth and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely wonderful. Every team member greeted us with genuine smiles and made us feel incredibly welcome. The level of service was truly first class — attentive, friendly and professional throughout our entire stay. A special mention must go to the front desk team, Alex and Roghar, who were exceptionally helpful the entire time. They were always approachable, happy to assist with anything we needed, and genuinely made our experience even more enjoyable.
The hotel itself is beautifully presented. Being so new, everything feels fresh, modern and spotless. Our room was excellent — spacious, stylish and immaculately clean, with very comfortable bedding and thoughtful touches throughout. One detail that really stood out was the in-room Dyson hairdryer — such a great addition that my wife is now convinced we need one at home!
Breakfast was exceptional. The quality and variety of the food was outstanding, everything was fresh and beautifully presented, and the service in the restaurant was just as warm and attentive as the rest of the hotel.
The atmosphere of the hotel is vibrant yet relaxed, and it’s clear a lot of thought has gone into creating a high-quality guest experience. For a brand new hotel, everything ran smoothly and the team should be proud of what they’ve created.

Great atmosphere when I step into it's door, warm welcome from the team member of Hyde Perth. Shout out to Hannah, her professionalism and warm welcome really make a great start for my stay. The cozy living room is carpeted in soft beige to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was sparkling clean, cute thongs in the room, but the best part was the Dyson hairdryer!
Even there's some shortage and a little less experience on the other fronts (phone not working, water pressure a bit low, and terrace not open yet) I think Hype Perth have a successful soft launch, and I can't wait to come back again!

Went down to The Hyde for a few drinks by the pool before we had dinner at Farra restaurant and really enjoyed the vibe. It’s got that relaxed but slightly classy feel — not over the top, just a nice place to sit back and unwind. The pool area creates a good atmosphere, especially in the afternoon, and it feels like a bit of a hidden escape in the middle of Perth.
Drinks were well made and nicely presented, and the staff were friendly and easygoing. It didn’t feel rushed or crowded, just comfortable. Even though we didn’t stay there, it definitely left a good impression. Would happily go back for another few drinks.
