Great and clean amenities, lovely staff and beautiful location. Great for the kids.

Had a brilliant stay, can’t wait to go back at Christmas.

The blankets were not washed. When we put them on it stunk the bedroom out, like they haven’t been washed for years of old feet.
I’m 9 months pregnant.
On arrival there was an empty KFC packet on the balcony and the next morning we found mouse poo on benches and the bathroom floor.
We would have left that night but it was a storm and because the site keepers were out we had no one to contact. The owners are taking no responsibility at all.
Lie, lie and deny, terrible service and we will not be back.
Our last weekend away as a family of three, dealing with a high risk pregnancy and this is how it ends. I’m feeling very let down.

Great location, really clean facilities, friendly staff and the best bike track, skate park and pump track right next door, with the beach a 1 minute stroll.

Stayed 4 nights on sites 113, 114 & 115. Beautiful park across the rd from a beach. Clean, modern amenities and camp kitchen. Very kid friendly and welcoming to doggos. Loved our holiday there but please be aware of being placed on sites at this end of the park as the blue gums spray sap all over your gear. The problem is well known to the staff and should have been disclosed upon booking so we had the opportunity to protect our gear with tarps or choose a different site or even park. We had searing late December sun and wind which was a combo ripe for the issue to cause havoc on a large tent, gazebo and camp trailer plus 3 vehicles. All needed scrubbing clean and a lot of money spent. Just be aware and protect your stuff.

We have stayed here 4 times in our caravan great town great big 4 great amenities close too beach.

Booked apart of a group, and they moved us away without telling us. Asked for a refund as didn’t want to stay up the other end of the park. No refund offered, just an absolutely obnoxious “manager. ” Advised “No notes in the booking” isn’t an excuse when you call, advise them and they have incompetent staff!

Lovely stay here. Peaceful, clean, friendly. Easy walk to town, parks and beach.

The staff at reception were great, the apartment is great, nothing was too much.

This place is great. The best camp kitchen we have ever seen and the amenities are spotlessly clean.

Fantastic park we have stayed in several during our tour of Tasmania. This is the Best 1 by far. Great camp kitchen with a roaring fire in the evening. Toilets super clean and walkable in to town.

Highly recommend — great location for families, ride or walk up to the CBD, excellent bike track / new BMX area behind the park itself. Spotless amenities & well maintained grounds.

A favourite family holiday destination. Staff are so friendly and eager to make stay as enjoyable as possible. Highly recommend.

For a caravan park this one is top notch. They've thought of everything. Beautifully kept and really clean and modern. My only critique is that a price structure of 'on site' cabins, based on the length of stay, would be helpful in encouraging people to stay longer. At the moment prices are based on 'nightly ' only, which makes it quite expensive if you want to stay for a week or two.

Family stayed 2 nights. Kids love it. Not sure if all cabins are same but the one we stayed was comfortable, spacious and clean. Big park close by, play ground, bike/walk tracks. Enjoyed the beach. There were life guards. My children had a ball. Must try the coffee beach hut nearby food is fantastic! Five star for the park great facilities and accommodation.

Been staying here for years and until this year2018, was very happy with everything. Must be new owners. Left our rooms clean and tidy as we always do. Left key in room when we all left, as we have done in the past and door open We have all been charged $50 for extra cleaning because the wind blew leaves and dog hair into the units after we leftTried to explain but to no avail, won’t be going back again to this so called, children and pet friendly. Big 4 Caravan Park in Ulverstone. Be warned as also toilets were dirty, BBQ not working and staff not very understanding Disappointing as we used to love going here every year, have heard from others that it has gone downhill in the last 12 months.

Visited on a busy weekend, but felt they try pack to many people in. People struggled to get caravans in and out. Spaces not clearly marked. Avoid camping under trees, our tent was covered in bird poo and tree sap. Other than that facilities were very good and clean. Great location. Friendly staff. (Don't expect lie ins here, being coastal there's a lot of very noisy birds around 5.30am so bring ear plugs)

Nice budget accommodation. They supply even the shower gel and hand soap which is good. Value for what u get in cabin. Very clean and comfortable.

Nice park. Close to beach. Amenities spotless. Not really what we are looking for, but pretty good for families.

Great Park. Very nice camp kitchen with all amenities. No air conditioning in cabins, very hot in cabin. Excellent access to the beach. Good shaded areas for camping or caravans.

One of the best parks we have stayed at but the owners rules for guest pets do not apply to them and their dogs constantly ran free in Park annoying my dog which was tethered in our vans site. Otherwise an enjoyable stay.

Free Wi-Fi required Facebook account but otherwise good.

We have stayed at many big 4b caravan parks and Ulverstone rates up there with the best of them.

Absolutely awesome! Really caring staff, nice spot, close enough to everything and great utilities.

Good stay, not far to go from Devonport, handy place to leave caravan and just drive to other locations, beach just out of back gate.

I was going to give it 2 stars because the motel style rooms were dirty and smelt extremely musty and I had to think twice about having a shower… Moved into a cabin for one night and it was exactly as expected, clean and fresh. Hence they earned a star back, service is good and location is great on the beach!

Stayed for four nights in a cabins. Beach at the back of the park was inviting even caught some squid. the cabin was comfortable and the staff friendly. Don't be put off with the freight train which passes by during the day and once at night I would stay again.

Nice clean trailer park close to the beach. Neat and Tidy Spotless Amenities Immaculate Grounds, wake up everyday to Rabbits grazing on the lawns. Peaceful.

Love this caravan park, so relaxing, its in a great town with a great location so touring around the North Coast and some of the West Coast is easy… Ulverstone Big 4 is a great base. All the staff are very friendly and the amenities are spotless. We're going back to Tasmania next February and Ulverstone Big 4 will be on the top of our list for places to stay.

Great place to stay when you arrive off the ferry, close enough to the Spirit of TAS but in a lovely little town far enough away to not hear the boat horns at 6am. Cabins are large and have everything you could need. Beach is across the road and there are lots of things for kids to do in the park like jumping pillow, playground and BBQ's. The town is of Ulverstone is close by and has quaint restaurants and cafes and my favourite bargain shop — chicken feed. Taking a day trip to Cradle Mountain saves us moving and it's a lovely drive. We'll be back again.
