Food very very average, cannot recommend. Probably why no one there😟😟need to employ someone that uderstands peoples taste. Think this person would be better off cooking for homeless people. Definitely not “Oasis” logo style. Please tss as he note!

Over an hour wait for meals and when they did turn up they were a disgrace, scallops that looked like peas, chicken fried to the point of no return, rude waitress who really didn’t want to have any interest in anything. Certainly gone way downhill and kitchen staff need either replacement or educating on how to cook.

I totally enjoyed my stay at the Lighthouse itthey made my holidays so relaxing room was immaculate staff went above and beyond food was 5 star I highly recommend if you go to Ulverstone stay here I give this place a 10 /10

My partner stayed here while on holiday. Staff were excellent, service was outstanding, Desarey (probably spelt that wrong) helped us out when another hotel was absolutely abysmal! Could not recommend any higher service. Thank you so much!

Best pub meal we've had in a long time, big serves and cooked exactly right. Friendly service and good atmosphere, will definitely come back when we return to the area thankyou for an enjoyable evening.

Nice food friendly staff nice room to stay overnight totally recommend if ya up this way drop in for a few coldies. Will try again very soon.

Friendly service, nice meal, clean rooms, comfy beds, very nice bathrooms, just one drawback; stairs into premises and accomodation… fine for us. Be happy to return anyday!

Had a wonderful meal at the lighthouse, the salad bar was delicious — I’m not a huge salad person but I loved it. Then my meal, the steak was so yummy and cook perfect! Will definitely be coming back.

Average meal and staff were unnecessary abrasive. On the plus side the kids space was good and in particular the face paint artist was amazing. Won’t be returning.

Stayed here the night and also ate dinner here. Asked for my steak Medium Rare, my steak came out well done with corn that had started to go brown and beans that tasted terribly. The smoking area near our room was locked early. … The spa was out of order, this was not mentioned to us either. very disappointed and would not recommend this place to anyone. Don't waste your money here.

Had a meal at The Lighthouse Hotel last night. Mine was very enjoyable but hubby loved his, he said the seafood was the best he's had in a in a long time. The staff were very helpful & friendly.

Excellent for adults and kids. Free face painting on Saturday nights between 6-8. Very affordable meals and big quantities. We will definitely be back again.

Found the meal to be somewhat ordinary. Salad bar lacking. Service from staff was impeccable. Atmosphere is good. Good for children. Large play area.

Was there March 2017 and was very impressed. Very reasonable price and nice rooms but also included in the price was free use of spa on roof of the building.

The ideal place to go and have a meal or a beer. The food is excellent and they have a games room which also offers keno if that is what you like to do. The staff are pleasant and friendly and make you feel welcome when you are there. I have had no bad experiences at the lighthouse hotel. I will definitely be going back.

Disgusting excuse for food sloppy watery tasteless lamb shank with rubbery pork one of The worst places I have ever been got a refund didn't know places like this still existed all of us couldn't eat the food the poor girl apologised but what they need to do is get an actual chef.

My last visit to the lighthouse was with a group of 5 including myself. The restaurant was very busy. The environment was hot, loud to the point you could almost not hear each other across the table, the service was run off their feet, and the food was not up to its usual standard.

I've visited the Lighthouse more times than I can remember. I can say this: I've never had a bad visit, I've never had a bad meal. The salad bar's excellent and the menu is robust, reliable and tasty. Staff have always been friendly and kind. Prices are good, the bar (even late evening) is "safe as a house", and the ambiance is lovely. Highly recommended!

Haven't been there for a while and won't be going back anytime soon. The light lunch meal selection is pathetic and who want's to pay for a full pork roast with no crackle? The $15.00 lunch schnitzel was smaller than I have seen on kids meals. Also the so called deconstructed steak sandwhich, well the best part was the bread! It really is a shame when 'big money' take over stuff and then ruin it. If your kids have out grown the games room, go to KFC, will be way cheaper! : (

Absolutely value for money. Clean, tidy and comfortable rooms. Great location and friendly staff. Even has a small but well equipped gym.

Last night we had our first & last Lighthouse experience. What an unwelcoming welcome! With 2 young children & as a non-smoking family, the overwhelming stench of the entry & dining area from your bar patrons smoking in the dining doorway, under a 'no smoking' sign no less was disgusting. We could not have enjoyed a meal with the immediate onset of headaches. We made our way to the eatery to ask what time you were serving dinner & where do we order. Firstly, we stood directly behind one of your staff, whom had made eye contact but continued to ignore us & focus on her menu board writing. We then 'excused me' until we had her full attention, she answered us sharply to return to her duties. We waited again for minutes until I was frustrated enough to outright asked if we can seat ourselves. Once we ordered, our child meal of chicken & steamed veg came out fresh & nicely cooked. That is unfortunately the only positive from your meal service. Moments after its arrival we requested takeaway as our children were tired & although we were the only ones there at the time, we knew that we were pushing the inevitable & did not wish to interrupt any potential patrons. You agreed to take away, although for adult menus this isn't usually an option, for that, we thank you. It however too you 25 minutes to package.

Awful. We were there a month ago and got burned, shrivelled oysters served up to us with dry over cooked fish. Took the meals back and demanded our money back. It was disgusting.
