Hotels in Mackay with a Pool

I stay here every time I have work booked in Mackay at least 4 times a year, Rooms a comfortable and clean, great location and awesome value. 10/10 would recommend.

Check in service was great, bed was comfortable for a good night sleep 😴. Price was very reasonable compared to other places.

Travelling for work, and got one of the last rooms in the budget section, usually used by workers. It was clean and comfortable, and had a good nights sleep.

We were very impressed with the large room, spacious ensuite, laundry facilities, desk, large balcony and generous breakfast.
We would definitely return. Thank you.

The room was in perfect conditions, really good housekeeping. Also the owners were really nice with us! Highly recommend it!

We stayed for 2 nights. The place was comfy and clean. Staff were nice and helpful. A hassle free stay is what you need on your holiday.

Been a few times now, great staff, great rooms, clean, location great, I do and have recommended galaxy motor inn to others.

Close to where we needed to be. Room was clean, bed comfy and so tp the pillows. Road is very busy and noisy at night with trucks but overall would probably stay again.

We love this hotel and especially this stay.

Our family arrived late in the evening (after a 12 hour drive) ant the Oaks Carlyle and the team went above and beyond to ensure we were settled quickly.

The hosts could not have been more helpful. Highly recommend this place purely on the hospitality shown to us. The motel is a little on the old side, but clean and very handy to great restaurants.

Rooms are Simple, clean and cheap.
Shower hot and great pressure. Bed is comfortable. For me, for an overnighter, perfect.
Staff were wonderful.

Very clean and easy secure parking which fit my 2.22m high vehicle. Bit pricey but definitely very comfortable.

Great service very friendly would stay again amenities clean but could use an upgrade in the future 😉

Stayed her this week, room was adequate for what I needed. Close dining for Lunch and Dinner but no breakfast options nearby.

Great location, with a view of the ocean and in air conditioned comfort. Staff were friendly, meals were quick to come out and delicious! Looking forward to coming out again soon.

Pacific Sands Apartments are nice and close to the airport and the city. The room was very clean and well presented. Very quiet location with views out to the ocean.

Very happy with the service at this place, they are exceptional, nothing is to much.
Rooms are good size & pretty quiet.
Just need a bit more effort with the cleaning & general maintenance.

We are family with kids had nice stay for 2 nights.
My kids enjoyed swimming and playing in the pool. Occasional flights landing gives a great view from the pool and pool area.

Conveniently located and clean rooms. The staff where friendly and helped us with a late check in by sending me the details I needed to access our room. Great place for short stays.

Its clean and value for money. You get what you paid for. It is not a 5 star hotel so quit complaining.

This park is old and a bit tired but the cabin was clean and neat. Felt quite quaint as the cabin had wood lined, sloped ceilings like an old-style country cabin.

Friendly staffs and very helpful, room was clean and wonderful. I will return for sure.

So ive used these guys a couple times now for a stop in before heading to work.
Ive walked into a clean fresh room each time and a friendly face at reception.

Living amongst traffic with a building not meant to cope with it. Residents are given the option to park in the middle of the street, yet are readily used by visitors as a free parking option.

Sun Plaza Motel is budget friendly and rooms are well equipped. I had a minor problem with the aircon remote which was attended to immediately.

Okay price for what it is. Bit of an issue with hot showers, but rectified by second night. Clean, bit dilapidated (VHS player next to TV etc). Stayed in worse.

Stayed for 3 nights during our QLD road trip. Rooms are small but have everything you need for a short stay including self catering facilities.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment for 4 nights while making a surprise visit to family in Mackay.
