Worst hotel I have ever stayed at, we are platinum elite, arrived to a dirty queen room, the room it’s self was filthy to the point of not wanting to sit on the day bed, the room was old and tattered with broken furniture. They nicely moved us to a new room, nicer room. King bed, ordered a steak sandwich through room service to be delivered a burger. When contacted room service advised me that there is no steak sandwich on the menus, well on my menu it clearly states Mercure steak sandwich, I’m advised that we must have an old menu in our room. The zero attention to detail is overwhelming. I’ve stayed with Mercure before in different states and always enjoyed it. Sadly this hotel lets the chain down.

We had our wedding night at the property with most of our family! The hotel was so accommodating, they called me 2 days before to check who was in my wedding party so they could place us all on the one floor! They helped us with our oversized Ute that wouldn’t fit in the undercover car park, they upgraded my whole family and placed us on the top floor! We had a welcome bottle of champagne in the room and 2 personally written cards of good luck.
They helped us with my wedding favours arriving before I checked in. The hotel room service during the preparation for the wedding part was always quick and accommodating! Food, limes, soda, Ice… You name it. They helped us! 24hour reception, modern & clean rooms with everything you need! Not small & pokey like some other hotels I’ve stayed in! I’m a seasoned traveller as I used to travel agent for a job — so I’ve been to hundreds of hotels around the world! Oh I nearly forgot — THE BUFFET BREAKFAST! Amazing! Everything anyone would want to eat for breakfast! 5* from me! I’m so overly impressed with our stay! Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️

Myself and a group of friends chose to dine here for the River Fire evening last Saturday. Great atmosphere in a perfectly lit room with some of the best food I have eaten in ages. I will talk about the smoked watermelon that was on my entree for years to come! The Chef even came out at the end of our evening and had a chat with us about the food. Brilliant evening, great service, amazing food and good company. I will definitely be back again.

Always good experience with Mercure Brisbane North Quay. My family stayed here on Christmas and Easter. Very friendly and professional staff. Good and flexible service. Nice room. Best location too. Near shopping streets, near big events, near ferry station. We took a ferry to Eat Street Northshore. Fun experience to be on Brisbane river. The hotel had $ 1 breakfast on Easter, very good breakfast for free basically. My son loves that he always gets a cute little soft toy gift whenever we stay here. We will definitely come back next time. Thank you.

Had a nice tidy room with a kitchenette lounge little dining table and a separate bedroom all done in neutral tones nice room the view was towards the river but it's quite a few buildings in the way the staff seemed pleasant the room was all tidy clean car parking was available underneath the building which she can get when you see reception on entering the building is nice convenient location and I would stay there any time.

The view of the river along with South Bank and the Wheel of Brisbane were a friendly welcome after a long flight. Overall pleasant, the hygiene could've been better, as there were rubbish in the bins when we arrived. The staff apologised for this afterwards. They were also eager to look after our baggage even after we checked out, which was a nice gesture. I recommend Mercure Brisbane for short stays, it serves well as a budget option, but one shouldn't expect the rooms to be too large, and the minibar is of course overpriced, along with a $7 water placed conveniently on the nightstand, which can be misleading.

Room 1211, it's like having the lift in the room. It is so awfully noisy I cannot sleep at all. How can this hotel even get close to 4 stars? Thank you Virgin for damping me here after cancelling the flight.

Came here for one night, booked online deal was good for direct booking. Beds not comfy but great value so my tick of approval. Food options limited otherwise would have been a solid 5!

Wow wow wow! For my Hubby’s birthday, I surprised him with our first night away together since having our kids. The staff went above and beyond for us, upgrading us to a Privilege Room with magnificent views overlooking Southbank. The VIP treatment continued with balloons and a Happy Birthday banner in our room, gifts for us AND gifts for each of our babies! Free drinks and brekky was the icing on the cake. I can’t believe the effort they went to for us. We are beyond grateful!

I have stayed in many hotels but this one did not excite me much at all. $38 parking, only 2 pillows etc. The staff were great though.

Good location in North Quay, close to. Enty of food & transport. Rooms could do with a bit of a refresh but otherwise okay (and quiet considering the nearby construction). Can be a long wait for the lifts if you're on one of the upper floors though. Would definitely stay here again.

Checked in… Checked out. Parking is a public car park $36 a night plus charges if you leave and come back. Booked and paid for a Superior Room with City Views but the receptionist let it slip that they DOWNGRADED us! Yep sure did, to a dingy room with broken fittings, and kept the payment for the better room! No signage from carpark to Hotel so left wandering. Got to lift and keyboard would work in lift someone else let us up. Got to room and both key cards wouldn't work! Receptionist said "what you don't like a river view" right above the freeway. Not an Upper Class Hotel at all. Not worth the money. By the way you don't know about the parking until you get there… more money! Just a debacle. Had to argue for refund. Gone somewhere else!

Was a good place to spend a night. Room service was prompt, if a bit brisk on the phone. Rooms were clean, fairly well appointed and comfortable.

Great place to stay. We were Accor members, so got treated extra well. Rooms are clean and quiet. Room service was great. Breakfast in the restaurant was good too.

Attended the hotel for a 2 day conference. Surprisingly good conference food. Did not stay at the hotel. Would definitely recommend for conferences.

The room was great and the bed was comfy. The only things that annoyed us were the lifts and the angry parking guy. Otherwise we'll be back next time for a girls night out.

Stayed overnight for business. Decor was nice and seemed quite new. No room service overnight but otherwise a pleasant stay.

Check in quick and easy and staff were friendly. Upgraded to a nicer room due to Accor Plus Platinum status. Room was very comfortable with nice view of Brisbane River and comfy bed and well-appointed bathroom. Room service was very good and high quality as was breakfast the next morning. Everything you could need if you're happy with a modern, well-run, clean and comfortable hotel.

Parked here, assistant seemed rushed and inattentive. Good day rate for parking however. Reception staff inside building very friendly and helpful.

Very nice and welcoming staff. Place is pretty modern and the location is pretty good. Would reccomend you to get a map as it can get quite confusing to get to and from since most of the city places you'd want to go to is a couple of blocks away.

Room was very small, lifts were tiny. The building itself looking a bit dated, but the rooms are being kept up to date. Beds were a little firm, woke with a sore hip. Internet speed seemed sufficient, however this was given as a complimentary service. At the price we paid however, we could have gotten a spacious 1 bed apartment elsewhere. It was only for the fact that our booking was last minute.

A great hotel, reception was very warm and provided good information about local places to eat. I was upgraded on my arrival and room had a fantastic view of the river. Breakfast was reasonable. Location is convinient.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was amazing in catering to my food intolerance issues and the food was delicious. The room itself was small, the bathroom cramped and shower water ended up all over the floor because it had no door. It also didn't have a fan and on opening the curtains I found someone had written messages in the condensation. They charge $7.50 for a bottle of water. Parking is $36. There is much better value for money elsewhere.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The staff were fantastic and really made our anniversary weekend special and memorable. A room upgrade was waiting for us when we arrived (top floor river view room) and a bottle of red wine and a personal message from the hotel staff were in the room when we walked into our room. Would definitely come back next time we need a weekend getaway!

We had the pleasure of staying her for 4 days last week in the Executive Suite. The suite was spacious & comfortable. The staff were friendly & helpful. Food was delicious, both at breakfast & dinner. We both really enjoyed our stay.

Good room very clean. Excellent buffet breakfast. All staff very pleasant and helpful. View over adjacent roof tops rather a let down.

Check in was fast and efficient after using the online check in facility. Check out was also fast. There was plenty of variety at the breakfast buffet and the staff were very attentive. The hotel is in a good location with nice view of the Brisbane River and easy access to the City and river walks.

The staff were lovely and helpful and opened the room between 614 and 615. My brother in law has had a stroke and he found it easier to use the shower in 614 as 615 had a bath to climb into. We had a great view of the fireworks and really enjoyed ourselves. The breakfast chef who cooked our omlettes and poached eggs was so lovely, nothing was a problem and I liked the custard fruit thing and pastries… yes I made a pig of myself!

We generally stay at Mercure in Brisbane because they are well-located and have two double beds so we can stay in the same room with our kids. The housekeeping lady on our level was especially good: asked whether we needed anything, made up the kids' bed with the soft toys all lined up on the pillows, and was very friendly and courteous. Made the stay!

Great location ad excellent views. Checked in around 6am and room was available so I was able to sleep after late night flight. Have a great secret bar so ask staff how to find it.

I recently stayed at the Mercure on North Quay in Brisbane. My experience was great, the staff were excellent and I had no problems during my stay. The hotel is close to where I was attending a conference, so very convenient to the convention centre and also to the CBD. The closeness to the river and walking/bike tracks made the Mercure a great place to stay to also enjoy an early morning walk or evening stroll along the Brisbane River.

Olga and Emilia made our stay extra Special and warm. The Welcome Treats was indeed very thoughtful. Excellent view of river n city.

It was a very enjoyable experience. From the first moment they were attentive and being a honeymoon trip were very retailers with us. The room was beautiful with spectacular views and an excellent location.

Very enjoyable but still waiting to hear if my set of keys were left in my room when I left. Great views of the river and surrounds and close to shopping mall and public transport. The only downside was the pool area which was to small and not very inviting.

Great access for drop off and pick up. The amenities were clean. The room looked beautiful and the food was delicious. A great venue.

Very Happy, Position was ideal, just a short walk to the mall and Southbank. Staff made us very welcome and were very helpful in directing us to wanted locations. Breakfast was very good and above expectations. Happy to stay again next time in Brisbane.

I am an silver ferns netball enthusiast, and late one afternoon, NZ were playing England in the quad series. We couldn't get the channel in our room, but it showed in reception. I was told I could watch it there, so quietly sat on a little stool in a corner out of the way. There was a New Zealand and an English girl working there, who got me a lovely comfortable chair to sit in, and a glass of wine to enjoy while I watched the netball. We lost grr, but England deserved their win. I was so pleased to be able to watch the game, and thought the service was exceptional.

Excellent service from the whole team during the duration of my stay. Restaurant staff were extremely friendly, which was great. Room was upgraded as a loyalty member, and received a phone call a day before to tell me, which was a nice surprise. Great location, nice and central, and only a short walk from the shops, and the convention centre.

We arrived with little time to get to where we were scheduled to be. There didn't seem to be a lot of urgency in the staff. We were given our key, and as we entered the room we discovered it was occupied by someone else! We were fortunate no one was in there at the time. We were then held up as they checked another room and upgraded us to another room which was nice of them. We unpacked and started getting ready for our night out to then have a staff member LET themselves into our room! Who knows what we could have been doing, and this was all so that they could put a rubbish bag in. We didn't feel very confident with the staff and we were also quite concerned for the safety of our belongings as it security did not seem very high in the rooms with out experiences leading up to this. We believed your hotel to be quite reputable, but we will certainly reconsider for future stays which is a real shame.

The overall experience was fantastic. The room was great and the view of the river was fantastic. It was close to everything. The only fault was a slight smell coming from the vent in the bathroom. It was not enough for me to complain though.

They key stuffed up after check in and I couldn't use the elevator. After it was redone I had to swipe 5 times to open the door. Room was beautiful and little extras were great. But there was a smell in the room, almost like something was stuck in the air conditioning, had to turn it off to be able to sleep. Extra pillows would have been good. Buffet breakfast was amazing. Staff were also very friendly.

I really enjoyed staying with you over the last couple of days. The food at breakfast was great quality, I absolutely loved being upgraded to a river view room. I am very grateful. The only piece of criticism I can think of is that the room was quite light due to the alarm clock. Though that was easily fixed by putting something over the top.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. All the amenities. Good room size. Unfortunately decor was very dark and felt a little imposing. Breakfast was fabulous as was the hotel service. Booking complication at beginning but it was resolved quickly.

We stayed only a night, The room I booked and I first got was not the same. I booked a room with one Queen size bed, first I got was 1 queen size bed and a single bed with splendid view to a brick wall. The Staff was very friendly and changed this immediately, however the point that I had to go to reception to point this out with my booking confirmation is annoying enough. In the second room we had lovely river views. The overall staff was very polite, friendly and helpful. The room itself could have been a little bit bigger and slightly better serviced. The breakfast left something to be desired. I had to wait for grilled tomatoes, butter as well as scrambled eggs, that obviously were stretched out with milk to save on eggs, as the egg taste was barely noticeable. Keeping in mind that we went for breakfast at 9.45, and rush hour was over, noticeable by the availability of seating, my conclusion is that we are saving on staff to keep up with minimum demand. Considering the many other Hotels I've visited and the price for this room and breakfast, and don't get me started that it is 36 dollars on top, to park the car, I will spend a little bit more for the room next time, don't have to pay for parking and have my expectations met, by going somewhere else. Sorry for the Staff, but the Hotel did not live up to my expectations. It felt like a 90's Hotel, made for the late 2010's.

GOOD: Location BAD: Small room, no shelves to put underwear away, cupboard small to hang to peoples clothes for 3 night stay! Bed springs coming through, bed squeaky with every move you make! Went for a relaxing weekend, but was woken up every morning with either guests chattering away in the corridor (small) or the cleaners, banking and clanging! Ensure you DO NOT sleep on the edge of the bed or you could knock your head on the built-in wall side tables, or like I did your funny bone. I woke up in the night to turn over and hit my NOT SO FUNNY bone, centre on on the edge of the table! Still in pain almost a week later! If this persists I am off to the doctor, as pain running right down to my hand, not much movement in my left arm. So all in all not a great experience.

26th/8~31TH/8/2015, Before coming I had confirm the room type, she say, our hotel the room type are the Two double bed in a room, but when I there was one room two double bed, the other room is one doube bed and single bed. When I order a cup of coffe, the coffe maker ask me back at 5 mins time but I see her served the coffe to other table for serval times. The last day my flight is on 23:00 so I have to check out and to keep my 4 lauguages in the hotel, the keeper give me the 4 tickets to write, but at same time the coming guest he helps to hanging the tickets to their lauguages and writing on tickets for them. (my kids told me that, why? ). I talk too my kids, they are busy to serve us (but in my mine I feel is racial discrimination to me).

The Bad: They recently renovated this hotel and got it so wrong. Get this NO drawers yes ZERO drawers anywhere in room — ended up putting underwear in the safe as it was only place to put anything. The room does not even have a shelve to put cloths on. Furniture in rooms looked cheap — specifically table and chairs looked like something from Kmart. The Good: Location is good close to CBD and river — easy access to south bank Summary good hotel if you are only staying one night.

Just spent the last two days in Brisvegas at the Mercure — could not fault anything — albeit the pool area was off limits due to renovations but you can live with that. Great staff, fantastic location and great views.
