Tiny, outdated room and the bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen. Showering was awkward and difficult. Great location but that's all the hotel has going for it.

Last minute cheap accommodation, don't expect more than that. Kept up late by neighbours yelling/fighting, but completely serviceable for a quick night's stay in desperate times.

Although the rooms are small, the cleanliness more than makes up for it. Well appointed rooms and very friendly, helpful staff. Very good value for money. Highly recommend.

The family room is ok but the toilet is so tiny that you'll get your elbow knocked here and that when soaping and shampooing lol. Only enough room for 1 pax to stand in the toilet at a time. And the Wi-Fi sucks. The only good thing is the location.

Friendly staff central location price reflects level of room. Has a beersie fridge which got it a extra star as all the bottlies were closed.

The hotel is good for quick stop overs or if you just need somewhere to crash for the night. Its clean and the staff are friendly.

Wanderful staff to deal with via email. No problem with late check-in and early checkout all too easy but the room well was tiny cramped barely enough room between the two single beds for the suit cases. Bed was nice but for short people my feet hung out end. The bathroom was a little tiny room and we both struggled to get in the tiny shower. Room as as bout as big as the room s that hold 4people on the sperit of Tasmania boat. Good TV big tho and lots of power point to change divices after a long flight. So price VS size I'd say a bit over priced. But easy as a late night arrival n early morning pick up.

I had to ask my daughter to publish this online on my behalf, because I'm 80 years old, but still trying to keep up with the technology! I've stayed at City Edge few times whenever I visit my daughter, the hotel is not big, but has adequate facilities, and very comfortable & well priced. I think the customer service is fantastic, they act on the guests' best interests. Front desk guest service staff are very warm & thoughtful. There's a young boy at the front desk (I remember he's from India), my family & I all like him very much, he always attends to all of our requests, even when they are very troublesome or after his shifts. Such a genuine kind-hearted young boy. For me, this is more than just a hotel! See you all again in April!

It was a comfortable place to stay very clean, tidy and the room we had was spacious large bathroom and very quite, we caught a train into Roma street so wasn't even worried about the no parking at the hotel and was very reasonable in price.

My "queen bed" was two singles pushed together. The only thing that saved this place was the lovely staff.

Always come stay here with the kids over the years, when it was called explorers inn, my girls were 10, now they are all driving! I've read some of the non-sense reviews before deciding to write this. Look! If you are expecting Hilton, Sofitel rooms, then pay the price & stay there! If you are on a budget, but don't want to stay in a shared toilet backpackers, then city edge is the perfect choice. You just need a place to sleep, and you are close to everything, the staff are amazing!

Aircon not working and so had to try and sleep with a open window which was ridiculously noisy. Room was unbelievably small and cramped. Not at all a good experience and a lack of sleep at that.

Very average. No soap or shampoo in room. No access to fresh air and air con leaked water all down the wall into power points.

It's a budget motel. For the price the room is perfectly reasonable and it's clean. The location was convenient for us (easy access from M3).

Terrible experience. The smallest room I've ever stayed in. I could touch the toilet from the bed. The bed was two single beds pushed together. Beware the rubbish truck from the street below at stupid o'clock (1am) followed by an evacuation at 4am (broken water pipe). No cold water for a shower (extremely small shower). You have to shower with the door and window open so that you don't set the fire alarm off. Yes people from the next building could watch if they felt like it. Wouldn't even recommend to the ex mother-in-law.

Good price and location but its old and tired. Street access from your vehicle is very awkward. The room was the worst I have stayed in but the bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was microscopic but the water was hot.

Cheapest we could find without going to a backpackers. Renovated but still very old building. Tiny bathroom and shower. No parking at location and $28 over night at a off site location. No drop off or pick up area.

Reasonably priced for small room that was a bit run down but tidy. Shower was small for slim woman — definitely not one size fits all. Wi-fi was dismal. Awesome location, short walk to… everything. Wonderful staff — cheerful, welcoming and helpful. Recommend for traveller on a budget.

Downtown, but extremely small rooms. In the days that I've been, they have not bed or once.

This is a cheating hotel. I booked a family room from 5 — 7 July in Cityedege Brisbane and what I got is just the cheating service. The room is very tiny, stuffy and deadly. The area of bathroom + toilet is so small so that you cannot move freely. There is no way to get the fresh air in the room. I had to open my door all the time I stay in the room, including all night. The day after, I requested them to clean my room but they left my room unchanged. Therefore, I must check out on the next day, otherwise I may die due to no air to breath. I requested refund but they decline and said that they will not provide housekeeping service within 7 days? How? This is absolutely cheating. Highly recommend that you should not stay on that sh**** hotel.

Very nice hotel. Stayed for two nights in the executive suite. Lovely room on the top floor. The hotel is also very close to the high street.

Lovely receptionist and the room was very clean. The bathroom was essentially a wet room so was very tiny, although the shower was hot and powerful. Our toilet cistern leaked however we didn't mention it as we weren't staying for long. Central location and the linked parking on Tank Street was very convenient. We also laughed at the fact there were lamps on the bedside tables next to the bed, although they weren't useful as they weren't plugged in as there were no sockets near the bed.
