The staff were so helpful and accomodating when we arrived. They went out if their way to check us in as early as possible and we appreciate the fact they have put other family members on the same floor even though we are arriving on different days. Booked a 1 bedroom suite for our 40th wedding anniversary and it coincided with river fire. Didn't realize this when I was booking. They gave us a room on the 21st floor with a lovely bottle of wine with a gold balloon as well as a lovely hand written card. Had a great view of the river and the fireworks. Would highly recommend Meriton Suites and we will definitely be back. Would like to come again for our anniversary next year.

Booked a 1 bedroom apartment on 8th September for 28th and 29th. Today received email telling me that my booking had been cancelled due to invalid credit card. The company who I booked through told me to deal with Meriton, and Meriton told me I had to go through the booking. I was passed around like this a few times. The hotel informed me that rooms were still available but that the price had risen by $150!
The bank gave no record of a credit card being declined and the hotel haven't provided me with proof of this, in spite of it being requested both my myself and the booking agent. This looks like malpractice on behalf of Meriton. Terrible customer service. I'm so disappointed that now I have had to cancel my plans. I can't believe Meriton wouldn't honour the original price.

I will never stay here again. The staff were very unhelpful and condescending. One side is permanent residence and the other is the hotel. There are two different lifts but no signs to say which ones to use. If you accidentally try to use the wrong lift you won’t be able to get in and I saw many people wondering around confused. They also don’t tell you this on check in. Our first room smelt terrible and hasn’t been cleaned properly, they didn’t offer to just move us we had to wait until housekeeping came up to tell us that there was nothing we could do. There is a night club on the corner across the road and this is EXTREMELY NOISY. This club is open until Midnight, plays loud music and all I could was people shouting as if they were right outside the window and I was on the 9th floor. Meriton is not cheap and you do not get what you pay for. Just dont stay here.

Check in was easy, staff very friendly, one bedroom apartment had everything we needed. Shower was hot and water pressure excellent. My mistake with bedding configuration when booking was corrected for me cheerfully and quickly. We only had a single night stay and a very early check out so couldn't comment on multiple night stay, but highly recommend.

The rooms are clean, spacious and very well equipped with a modern feel. I didn't notice any outside noise at all during my stay, though that could have partly been due to the background noise created by the air con. I would definitely stay here again.

Currently staying at Meriton Suites Herschel Street — Booked online from Melbourne, pleasantly surprised upon arrival! Fabulous view from 21st floor, fully self contained apartment. Love the wonderful deep bath tub! (Love my bath! ) Huge bed, perhaps a little soft for my liking, but views from bedroom makeup for that.
Walking distance to shops and restaurants. We are leaving tomorrow but would return in a heartbeat and will definitely recommend to my friends who need to get away from our horrible Melbourne winters! Cheers!

Its what you expect — clean, comfortable, mostly friendly effective service. Theres always one who didnt get the training, but overall obliging, go out of their way to accommodate & make your stay comfortable & hassle free. Some maintenance issues, light bulbs, window latches, cranky bits here &there. All sorted easily and quickly. Pool area, indoor, smallish for the building but nice spa area. Sauna too, could be warmer The views! Oh the views! Stayed in a 2 — bedroom on 71 then 73rd floor.

What a fantastic hotel. Travelled from London and when we arrived at the hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I informed them at the desk it was my 50th birthday celebrations and when I got to my room they had a lovely surprise waiting for me. A card and a bottle of champagne. I would like to say a big thank you to Akim for making my experience of Brisbane so fantastic. Cant wait to recommend it to my friends and hopefully won't be too long before I'm back again.

2 bedroom apartment high floor. Comfortable. Great views. Room cleaning a bit hit or miss. Convenience stores & a few eateries & pubs nearby. Convenient for CBD, about 20 minutes walk to convention center at south bank, so an easy walk during the cooler months.

Nice, clean and modern. 1 star deducted because the windows are quite noisy and because I expected my room to have an independent stand up shower as per the description/photos yet it had a tub/shower combo. When asked at the front desk whether I could be moved to a room with a single shower, it was explained that all the rooms with single showers had no views. Kind of a let down in that regard. Otherwise a good hotel.

This is one of the highest towers in Brisbane, offering panoramic views from the upper (more expensive) floors. Note that basic apartments are restricted to floors 1-10. Internally, suites are maintained to a very high standard. Spacious, comfortable and with excellent amenities. A/C is extremely efficient! The lifts take some getting used to. There are no buttons inside the lifts, but you have to use your roomcard to summon lifts. Therefore, you can only travel between the lobby and and your personal floor. If you try to use the wrong lift (as I did first time) you'll be stranded on your floor! Having said that, it's quite sci-fi, though not really any more efficient than a standard lift. There is an internal heated pool and gym, with sauna. Room service will deliver breakfast, or food within 30 minutes to order. Overall, highly recommended.

The rooms are clean and kitchen well equipped. The view was spectacular. Damage to the room has obviously occured and makeshift repairs are poor e. G torn black couch was sticky taped. Car parking is an absolute joke as there is clearly not enough spaces for such a big accomodation and you are forced to park offsite and walk and still pay $40 per night. The reception staff are not helpful and despite us explaining our situation would not allow for late check out and claimed that they need the room but if you pay $100 then you can have late check out no problem. Offered no assistance with taking bags to room. Definitely a pretentious kind of place that doesn't live up to expectations. Wouldn't be staying here again.

Contemporary rooms. Quiet. Good price point. Every room is an apartment with a kitchen. Nice touches like a capsule coffee machine. Staff pleasant and professional.

A great place to stay in Brisbane in a spacious, modern apartment. It’s located next to the river and in walking distance to the shopping area as well as the Museum of Modern Art. Also, restaurants and bars are nearby as well as a good coffee shop with great breakfast right next to the entrance. The rooms are nicely furnished and the overall impression is very modern.

Always stay here when we travel down to Brisbane. Excellent staff and service if there are any problems they are on it straight away. Extremely safe environment from the front door at night to elevator system so always feel comfortable. Will continue to stay here. The room itself is amazing with so much space, great facilities and very comfortable bed.

I couldnt recommend this place high enough. I have stayed last Saturday for my wedding day preparations and the lovely staff gave me a room with river views with a complimentary bottle of qchampagne. The room was so modern and spacious, ideal for a large bridal party needing to get their makeup and hair done. Thank you Meriton for making my wedding day so special.

Have loved staying at these serviced apartments. They are wonderfully clean, well serviced, and in a great location. It has been very useful to have a washer and dryer, with detergent provided daily, and the cafe next door delivers to your door. You can even have the fridge stocked by Woolworths if you give them your reservation number.

Excellent service, lovely rooms and great locations. The rooms were bug and clean which is always appreciated! Will definitely be staying again but next time will ask for a higher level. I was on level 6 and two buildings next door could see right in.

Superb modern accommodation in the tallest building in Brisbane. Right in the CBD with restaurants, cafes and bars close at hand. Large spacious room with every facility for a short stay. Super comfortable bed. On site secure parking at a cost of $30 a night. Highly recommended.

Excellent location with a magnificent view of the river and Southbank. A short walk to shops, cafes, restaurants and parks. The apartment was serviced each day and was comfortable and clean. If you have a car I recommend their paid parking but you need to ask for a permit to place in your windscreen to prove you have paid. For some reason it wasn't automatically given to us when checking in so we had to ask for it after getting a warning note that we may be towed away. Will stay again.

Good location for the trains but a little bit of a walk to the CBD. The "Modern" layout apartment is quite nice. The only complaints would be that the windows did not seal properly and whistled in the wind. Also the mixer valve on the shower buzzed like crazy. Lastly the shower door doesn't keep in the water well and the floor outside it can get slick. Other than that the staff is very friendly and the beds are very comfortable. Also, air conditioning system is very nice. Would use again.

We stayed at the Herschel Street Meriton and it was absolutely excellent. The room had an awesome view, spotlessly clean, serviced daily and they even put a bottle of champagne in the room to celebrate our Anniversary. The Reception staff were helpful and very friendly and efficient. We would have no hesitation in going back to the Meriton and hopefully sooner rather than later.

Stayed here a few times now, rooms are spacious, super clean & a decent size. Staff are always friendly & extra helpful. Only gets a 4 star rating because they don’t have balconies which can sometimes make you feel boxed in…

I made the mistake going to the Meriton not near where I had business. I don't know Brisbane. However the suites are extravagant. I most certainly will come again! Maybe the one closer to where I want to be. You will be happy coming here.

Modern, excellent business apartments in a location close to the centre at very reasonable prices.

Very nice set of apartments. Great location near the Karilpa Bridge and 20min walk to Southbank. Has a lap pool and clean (albeit small) gym. Lifts are efficient. Stayed here while I was over for work and is highly recommended. Slightly more expensive but one of the nicer places to stay.

Stayed here a few times for both work and personal travel and have always been impressed with the quality of the room for the price paid — never have to bring much with me because I can always get a hair straightener, dryer and toiletries on arrival. The staff are always very friendly and happy to help. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the parking costs are far too expensive IMO and that I think the soundproofing on the windows needs to be stepped up — it can be very noisy with the pub and backpackers across the street and there are times I've had difficulty falling asleep as a result.

Nice service apartment with friendly service. They have big rooms for 6 people and it's on the very top floor which has a very nice view. There's a small gym and a big pool. The bad thing here is they only accept credit card and they charge around 1.3% on top. (I booked the room with Agoda. )

Very nice hotel, but check-in was very busy and there was a if standing around waiting to be served. Our access card "expired" half way through our stay. It wasn't too much of an issue, but just a pain when you want to get to your room but have to wait to be served to get the key reactivated. Overall, was good.

Great view of the entire city from the 73rd floor, with deliveroo straight to the apartment door! Everyone was super friendly, and there was access to a pool in the hotel.

Whilst performing work in Brisbane spaning a 2 year period I resided at the Meriton in Herschel St, Brisbane. I reckon I stayed at the hotel between 40 to 50 occasions for an average of 3.5 days per visit. During my visits I received outstanding service and impeccable courtesy from Ross, Adam and the entire Team. The cleanliness and openness of the building and apartments is excellent, especially when you are not familiar with living in an apartment for lengthy periods. Fantastic views and very clean, well presented rooms. The facilities are excellent for the price you pay. My only criticism: a few more utensils would be nice to make this apartment more user friendly.

Stunning views of course from the upper levels. As far as serviced apartments go, these are ok I would say. Modern and clean, really nothing to complain. The overall atmosphere however is a bit sterile, dull and plain, there are the words that came to my mind. But that is certainly a question of personal taste rather than objective facts. Great for a few days to stay, much longer I would need a bit more warmth and cosiness.

Good location. Near Roma St train station. About an hour and a half away from Gold Coast. 15-20 minutes walk to The Treasury Casino and Queen St Mall. Helpful and friendly staff. Very spacious rooms with a kitchenette and clothes washing facilities. Will stay again.

Everything about the room was amazing and it's only a short walk to queens plaza and south bank which is great. The problem with the Merton is that when you book you are never told you'll be putting up an extra $50 for overnight parking, you'll also need to learn how to use their elevator system. It's a bit of a pain to have to come from the parking lot to the lobby, walk around to the front desk where the other elevators are and then be able to go upto your room. Other then these things it's a nice place to stay.

Beautiful, well designed and facilitated, modern apartments! Great location. Expensive off street parking ($40 per night) and the lift system is a little inconvenient but once you get the system down pat it's fine.

Love my stay here although its only for 3D 2N. Great location, we were lucky to have chosen Herschel St Meriton and not the other. Near shopping area, free shuttle bus round the city and free ferry shuttle/cruise on the river. 5 mins walk to Roma St for Brisbane Transit for our train ride to Varsity Lake to catch our plane flight home to KL. Not forgetting, we thank the helpful reception lady (didnt get her name but she had her injured left hand on a sling) who checked us in. Comparing to our stay in Sydney Meriton, there is good improvement in the room and hallways.

This Meriton is in a great location allowing for very easy access by both car and train. The rooms are nice and large which is nice for longer stays. Front desk staff are wonderful and very helpful. The only drawback about this Meriton is the crammed parking garage. I never struggled to find a place to park, but if you have a big car, it is very difficult to get around.

Amazing bed, honestly the best hotel bed I've ever slept on. Nice quality finishings and hotel features. Pleasant staff and great location. Will stay again! (So long as the price is right)

Good vacilites including swimming pool and gym. Well kept function rooms. Good location, close to restaurants and transport.

Room was awesome. Very tidy, spacious and well equipped. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and a great shower. We got a Southbank view (room 1207) which was a little disappointing. Possibly should have gone for the Suncorp stadium view. The young lady at reception was lovely (can't recall her name). Location was very convenient as it was close to Roma St station and to the Transcontinental where we attended a Whiskey tasting event.

1bed apt: pretty good for business stay, less good for romance. Spacious room, free fast Wi-Fi. Kitchen + washing machine v useful. Bed was average (king=2 singles noticeably zipped together), bedroom was very plain with nil decor. Quiet rooms and slept well. Fitness room was a bit small and under-provisioned for the number of guests. Pool good though.

I loved staying at Meriton in Hershcel Street. It waa so close to everything. The room was fantastic, clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and nothing a problem to them.

Bedrooms are awesome and everything is veryyyyyyyyy. Clean. It's one of my best hotels I ever Been to.

Staying at the property now. Staff were a bit cold and not interested in helping. Rooms are ok but they have cut corners on many items and it really shows — like the cheapest tea bags and toilet paper. The room is dark and very little natural light — bad design. No privacy blind for the windows that are there. And no view at all except an office over the road. All in all disappointing for a place described as luxury. Dont be fooled by the brochure.

Poor service. Toilet seat is not cleaned after three days and it's disgusting. My makeup foundation container been emptied! Looks like cleaners are more interested in my personal belongings than doing their job.

This hotel is ranked in Brisbane on TripAdvisor with good reason. Probably the best value I have ever received from a hotel stay. New construction, full laundry facilities, full kitchen, dishwasher, nice view of river, at around US$100 per night.

The apartments are located in the currently tallest building in Brisbane and was opened recently. There are new apartments and floor I could move into the 24. On the higher floors is still working on the expansion of what is audible during the working days. There are large rooms with everything you could wish for. The reception is 24 hours open, friendly and helpful.
