Only visit if you're looking to save money and don't care much for a pleasant experience. Low grade hotel and even lower standard food. It's cheap though and the rooms are serviceable.

Good hotel, calm atmosphere, no disturbances, nice ladies staff. Only disadvantage is little away from town, but bus/taxi stations are nearby only. Wifi network is with full strength.

Pleasant prices for quality rest.

Will never go to this hotel and do not advise anyone. The day before departure, the hotel staff offered us to move to another hotel. Just here to take things and move out. They have there some kind of glitch with the booking, our room someone promised. And the question was not about compensation or how to give us a higher room category. We're screwed, and you, please, pack up at 10 PM and get out of here. After I refused, they on the day of departure came up with a little revenge. I booked the airport transfer (which was included in the price of the coupon), but at the appointed time the machine was not. It was not 10 minutes later, and after 20 and half an hour later. The staff at the hotel had ceased to understand Russian and did his own thing, not paying attention to us. The upshot was that we took their suitcases and walked to the road to catch a taxi. Lousy service. The rooms also did not like. In two of the three rooms have no Windows. For me, this is nonsense. A lot of cheap gold, a lot of show-off little room. Local light sources like wall sconces or floor lamps no, only the dim overhead lighting. Plumbing in one bathroom does not work. Holder heads, soul or not, or it doesn't work. The toilet won't flush, had to call the plumber, he's kind of mended, the next day everything repeated. The room smelled strong smell of sewage. Soundproofing is very bad.

I booked Sochi Palace Hotel through hotel. Com from 21 to 25 July 2016. The hotel services and amenities were acceptable considering very affordable price however the reception request ruined all of our good memories about this hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, the reception told us "a group of noisy Iraqi people will come here in 2 days and they make you uncomfortable. It's better to go to another hotel of us, the Sochi Plaza hotel, it's nearer to the Yerevan center and has free swimming pool and all other amenities and facilities are the same". After 2 days the above mentioned group came to the hotel and the hotel become a little noisy. She asked us again for moving and we confirmed. After check out she told us the swimming pool is busy! so you can not use the swimming pool. The hotel driver got us to the new hotel after 80 minutes of waiting in lobby. When we arrived we got shocked by hotel name. The name was Mirage Hotel not Sochi Plaza and it was just an B&B. There is not any facilities like elevator, safe box, gym and restaurants in this hotel. When we called the Sochi Palace reception and complained she told us the Mirage hotel (B&B) had the same manager as both of Sochi hotels. In Sochi Palace we had 3 executive bedrooms suit but here they gave us a 2 bedrooms suit in third floor (without elevator). After some more complain they gave us another suit. In this suit there isn't any air conditioning system just a fan (in July).

We were a family of 5, and stayed at an executive 3-bedroom suite for 8 nights. Pros: large suite Cons: poor room service, poor communications, unskilled staff, low grade/quality food Details: — The staff didn't clean our suite properly. We'd have to literally ask for the simplest things. Once, we ordered breakfast to be brought to our suite. The breakfast leftover was sitting on our table until we got back in the evening. It took a phone call plus a walk downstairs to ask the manager in person to send someone. Even then, it took an hour for the staff to show up. — Same thing happened again; this time with dinner. It took a day for the dishes to be cleared from the table, after several phone calls. — There appeared to be something wrong with the sewage. Bathrooms smelled real bad. — We had to ask for toilet tissue :) The staff wouldn't pay attention while doing the cleaning. — We were once kicked out of the restaurant, because it was rented out to a local party! The manager offered us to sit at the bar. We didn't like the atmosphere at the bar and opted for eating inside our suite. — Apart from one of the managers, the rest of the staff didn't speak much English. This is very frustrating, and causes lots of problems. — Our food orders got mixed up almost every time we ate at the restaurant. — The quality of the food was low, and they sometimes seemed to have not been freshly made. — The elevator was too small, fitting maximum 4 people at a time.

Very nice hotel. Recomended.
