A nice guesthouse, rooms just like the photos, impeccable housekeeping, a 5-star rating, recently renovated, delicious continental breakfast, excellent Wi-Fi, and air conditioning.
There are no issues with the guesthouse itself, but the location definitely leaves much to be desired: it's not in the city center, but right next to it, and you have to navigate dirty staircases in a private residential area. If you have a child with a stroller, this is definitely not the place to go because there are simply no sidewalks. Therefore, I think the price is overpriced; I would only stay there again if it were cheaper.

An excellent guesthouse with wonderful hosts who quickly resolved any issues. Khachatur was always in touch. We checked in early, and our room was available at 7 a. M. Without any hassle or extra charges. The homemade breakfasts were delicious and brought to our room. The rooms were clean, towels were changed, and cleaning was done every three days. They even asked us when they could come clean so we wouldn't be disturbed. We booked excursions right away, and Khachatur himself drove us everywhere. He was very responsive, kind, and hospitable! We're so glad we found this guesthouse! We loved everything; it was excellent value for money. When we come to Yerevan again, we'll only book here.

We stayed in Yerevan for a few days and were very pleased with our stay at this guesthouse. We'd like to express our special thanks to the owner. Instead of checking in at 6:00 PM, our flight was delayed, and we arrived at 4:30 AM. He was always available, greeted us, helped with our bags, politely explained and showed us around, and answered all our questions. The room itself is just like in the photos: clean, cozy, and has everything we need for a comfortable stay. We'll happily return to stunning Yerevan and this guesthouse. ❤️

The guesthouse room was clean and, if needed, they'll clean it daily (though we didn't use this option). They also offer excursions around the area (the price was good). My daughter and I loved everything.

It's not far from the center; you can take shortcuts, or you can take a taxi to a specific location and then walk the rest. That's what we did. Yandex Taxi works great; you can pay by card (you don't need cash for a taxi). You can even pay with a Mir card in some stores.

A huge thank you to Khachatur for his hospitality. He's always available and answers all my questions promptly. The breakfasts were delicious, and you can choose from a variety of options. The room was clean and had everything you need. We went on a tour with him, but we didn't hire a guide. Khachatur didn't just take us to historical sites, but told us the history of each monastery, and also treated us to local Armenian sweets, gata pastries, and churchkhela.
I definitely recommend Hillside Guesthouse. Next time I'm in Yerevan, I'll be back.

Excellent guesthouse. Thank you very much to Khachatur, the owner, for his hospitality, kindness, honesty, and responsiveness to guests. The city center is within walking distance or by taxi. Everything is close and safe. We came for the Jennifer Lopez concert in August; we booked in advance, and everything was perfect. I know of personal cases where hoteliers brazenly canceled paid reservations for the August concert dates, jacked up prices by double or more, and people were forced to either overpay or take whatever they could find, which was not what they were expecting. Khachatur, thank you for your integrity in this matter.

We would like to thank Khachatur for the warm welcome, we really liked our room, especially the beautiful view from the balcony. Everything is clean, neat, Khachatur was always in touch with all questions, very cozy and good, we liked it. The room has air conditioning, you could also use a washing machine, dryer, iron. The photos of the room are absolutely true to reality. If we are in Yerevan again, we will definitely stay here again. We recommend 👍🏻

I really liked the accommodation. We had a room with a kitchen, very spacious. Comfortable and wide bed, air conditioning in each room. Cozy, clean. There is housekeeping. We took breakfasts, very tasty and filling. You can park your car in the yard, which is convenient, since there is paid parking in the city. The hotel is close to the center. 10-15 minutes walk to the central streets. The way back is uphill, the hotel is on a hill. Very friendly host, you can ask for anything, treated us to his apricots from the garden. The hotel and the country as a whole left the most pleasant impressions!

Hospitable host, always in touch, will prompt and tell you everything! Clean room, has everything you need — towels, bathrobes, slippers, shower gel, shampoo, brushes, combs and even micellar water. Cleanest tap water, apricots, plums on the site. Balcony with a view of Yerevan. Special thanks for the delicious homemade breakfasts (you can choose from 10 options, from homemade eggs 👍, breakfasts are brought to the room, we had breakfast on the balcony). Walking distance to the center, we took a taxi back so as not to climb the stairs. Thank you Khachatur! We will come again! Success and prosperity!

Good afternoon, stayed in this guest house with a friend, only positive impressions, took a room with a balcony, the view is gorgeous, especially at night, the room is clean, clean bed linen, towels, slippers, dishes, robes, there were also disposable slippers and toothbrushes in the room, everything is civilized. Yes, it may not be very convenient to get to the room and there are no supermarkets nearby, but Taxi in Armenia is very cheap, and this did not upset us much, because we mainly slept in the room and rested in the evening, so this is the best place we could have checked into. The hosts are very hospitable, were always in touch, also took a tour from Khachatur, my friend almost cried from studying when we were driving in the mountains and suddenly Khachatur opened the hatch on the roof of the car :) it is amazingly beautiful. Overall, a great place, if fate ever brings us to Yerevan, we'll know where to stay☺ Thank you for being part of our great vacation) )

The room is spacious and clean (has everything you need), a terrace with a gorgeous view, delicious homemade breakfasts. Thanks to Khachatur and all the hotel staff, they told us everything, showed us everything and warmly welcomed us. I recommend it to everyone. It's a bit difficult to walk up the steep stairs to the hotel after long walks. But an inexpensive taxi always saves you)

We stayed for 3 days in this house. At first we were looking for something closer to the center, but we chose this guest house. It is further from the center, but the price is much lower and there are good reviews. We did not go wrong, since the hotel is really very good, and you can get to the center cheaply by taxi or walk in 20 minutes. We liked everything very much! The room is very clean, all the furniture is new, the Wi-Fi worked well. The breakfasts were very tasty, especially the coffee.
It is possible to use the washing machine for free, which is a big plus, since after Armenia we went on vacation to another place.
The territory is also very nice. I think when it is fully equipped, it will be a wonderful place to watch the city and the sunset. The owner of the house Khachatur is a very hospitable and polite person. When checking in, he told us everything in detail, where to go, what to see. When leaving early in the morning, he helped us with our suitcases. We stayed on Easter — he treated us to homemade liqueur and delicious chicken eggs. I really liked the balcony and the view of the city. In clear weather you can see Ararat. The only small minus is the noise in the morning from the nearest highway, especially on weekdays, but against the background of all the advantages — this is not a problem.

Quality that you don't expect from a guest house! It's obvious that everything is done with soul. The owner is a very nice man, all requests were fulfilled very quickly (asked for a vase, glasses)
Room: clean, cozy, large balcony and a beautiful view from it. Upon arrival in the room disposable slippers, toothbrushes, robes, towels. The shower works well, the pressure is strong. In the common area — microwave, washing machine, ironing board with iron.
Cleaning every three days, which did not bother us at all, we only spent the night.

Location: the house is really on a hill, you need to overcome a lot of steps to get there, but we considered this as a plus, we worked off all the delicious things we ate. But! For those who find it difficult — taxis in Armenia are very cheap (Yandex taxi works, payment with a Russian linked card)
A nice bonus — the owner congratulated me on my birthday with a bottle of homemade wine, we drank it with pleasure.

From the room window there is a good view of the center of Yerevan, and in good weather you can see the mountains. Staying at Khachatur's guest house is like visiting your family whom you haven't seen for a long time. You don't feel like a tourist here — you're at home.
The house itself is very cozy, tastefully furnished, with a terrace that offers a stunning view of Yerevan — especially at sunset! The house is on a hill, and all this is within easy reach of the center.
Khachatur is a man with a big heart. He greeted us with warmth and hospitality, gave us a short tour of his property: apricots grow here, chickens live, and for breakfast we were treated to delicious homemade dishes made from fresh eggs. Breakfast was brought right to the room — this is such coziness and care that you immediately get used to.
Thanks to Khachatur and the atmosphere of his house, we felt the real Armenia — kind, warm, sincere.
