Very close to the underground station. Definitely recommended for a budget travel to London. Very friendly staff. Rooms are ok but good for the price.

Small. No phone in room. Must pay for Wifi. On the tube lune. Breakfast is skimpy. Not the cleanest. It is a Great Location though. For the price not bad.

This place is a disgrace. I travelled from Camden to Kensington in a £20 taxi to be greeted by an arrogant and rude member of staff who's first words to me when he couldn't find my booking (despite holding a confirmation email in front of him) were "I don't care". That level of rudeness should not be in any hotel and as soon as that was said I walked out. If that's the welcome, I can only imagine the state of the rooms and cleaning facilities!

The worst hotel I have ever been or seen. Poor customer service. Rooms are a disgrace. Never seen anything like this ever. Breakfast is also rubbish. Better of going to the coffe shop. Kitchen is filthy. Staff speak other languages. Avoid wasting your money.

Cheap nights for relatively good quality. Much better than you'd expect for thirty a night for a room with three beds in it.

Very sparsely equipped, but clean.

Absolutely terrible. By far the worst night I've ever had in a hotel. Paid for a double room and got put in a tiny cupboard barely large enough to fit the single bed we were expected to share. Small toilet and shower crammed together and smelt very bad. Electrical cables sellotaped to the wall, and electric sockets were so loose that power kept cutting out if wires were slightly touched. The hotel itself creaks so badly and walls were so thin that you could hear everything that other guests were doing. Trains right outside the single glazed windows ran all night and were loud enough to actually drown out speach. Needless to say neither I nor my partner got more than an hours sleep all night. When we did finally nap in the early hours, we were disturbed by a hotel cleaner who walked into our room at 7am without knocking, then walked out again without apology when he saw us. The "continental breakfast" (which you need to pay extra for) consisted of toast. Checked out a day early and stopped at a premier Inn in the centre of London, with views of the river and London eye for less per night than we originally paid for the Aquarius. Absolutely pathetic that they charge the prices they do for such an awful place. We often travel cheep and cheerful, expecting little from a hotel, but this place was beyond a joke.

Very good room, the furniture is damaged as well as the front door. The toilet cabinet is leaking. The photos on the site, do not corresponding to reality. The advantage, the hotel is in a pretty chic area and not even 1 min from the metro station Earls Court.

Staff friendly. Room small but cosy. Just offer one towel for person (no extra towel to clean your hands). Room near underground line, noisy all night.

Never again! They charge everything and the bathroom is ridiculous.

The place is so so. The room (#15) is small but warm in January. The furniture is old, the shower is terrible, but water is and wash it is possible. The floor is squeaky. The pastel is clean. Breakfast skimpy. Lots of cadefis and shops around. The Metro is a 2-minute walk away. If you came to look at London and all day passed, then probably do not even pay attention to it and sleep. And if you come to London to relax in a hotel, this place is definitely not for you.

ZERO rate hotel, was my bad experience for me. My friend booked the hotel thru Agoda, the picture from Agoda are totally different what we saw. 1) We booked for 3 pax but the primitive room are very cozy and small, even cant fix for 3 person in the room and no facilities provided. 2) No internet provided, if u need to use their Wifi then u have to paid, charges by hourly. 3) No Hot pot provided, 1st time faced it 4) Toilet are damn narrow.

SCAM! This place needs to be avoided! Let me share my thoughts about this absolutely low profile hotel: 1. Our room was without window! Basically there were doors that were probably the main entrance in the past (see the pic). 2. The bed for two (really? ) Was so small that only one person could sleep well. 3. The room has no chair, table, functional closet. 4. The shower is absolutely f… amazing (not). If somebody took a shower there, he deserves a medal! 5. Breakfast: giving only toasts with butter and jam is not worth to call breakfast! To sum up: the worst experience in my life! Have fun in london, anyway :)

Old hotel in a good location. About 100 meters from the nearest metro stop. About 10 minutes on the subway to Big Ben. Simple toast for breakfast. No free W-lan. Receptionists friendly. Staff for breakfast unmotivated. You can hear the trains. Very simple. Supermarket, bank, KFC, MC Donalds just around the corner. Completely adequate for a 2-4 night trip.

It’s very hard for me to give a unbiased rating for this „hotel“. First of all, if you plan to visit this hotel with your family for a longer period of time — don’t! This is strictly a cheap way to sleep nearby a very central railway station, which gives you easily access to all attractions in London, walking distance to earls court station is 2minutes. All major food chains and a lot of good quality restaurants and bars are right next to the hotel. The room setup is cheap, it’s not really dirty it’s more like it’s totally worn down and nobody would suggest such a room to a good friend. If you want to visit London for a short period of time on a tight budget, this is the place for you.

The staff is very friendly and the location is perfect, right next to the metro station. Quality/price acceptable.

The hotel it's old, but nothing that I haven't seen before in London. The problem is that it's too close to Earls court tube station, so the noise of the tube, that goes overground on that area it's too much. It makes sleep an odyssey unless you have earplugs.

Terrible rooms, radiator not working, alarm goes on every time you showers rooms are extremely small, only good thing is that it’s 2 minutes waking distance to station, breakfast is extremely poor no egg no milk to the coffee only toast with butter and cheap juice mixed with water. People who works in the hotel does not welcome you or provide any good service at all. They provide 1 pillow 1 face towel for an extra towel is £3 each time, for them too keep your luggage on check out its a fee of £8 very disappointed as the room is not like the picture at all.

Got the top floor 3 bed room, no drinking water facilities, Internet is paid if you not book directly with them, breakfast is about average, not he best but it's ok if you are a backpacker and want to stay in for the night sleep only. Cleaning: acceptable. Private Bathrooms: not available for all the rooms. Reception is 24x7 open Where to get water from : get a 5ltrs (depending on requirements) water jar from co-op store near by Nearest Transit: Earls court tube station. There is a train line behind this place, so noisy, could be a problem for sensitive sleepers. Food : there are a couple of Indian cuisine restaurants near by.

I am giving a zero star… it doesn't deserve one tenth of a star… ZERO STAR RATED and that's 0/10.! These are the facts about Aquarius Hotel… 1. It's not a hotel at all. It's worst than a hard labor prison cell. 2. Everything is bad and really bad. 3. The room I was asked to stay was no room. It was half a tiny hallway at the basement. 4. The tiny bed was like a toddler's bed and was so uncomfortable, I cried all night. 5. There were trash bags outside the window with smell of trash 24hours. 7. There were pile of dirty linens and trash in front Of the room most of the time with offensive smell. 8. The room had sewage smell 24/7 due to leaking bathroom. 9. The room had extreme weather all the time, too cold or too hot… TO BE CONTINUED FOLKS.

I have experienced only one worse hotel in my life, which was an Australian 3-star (supposed to be)! This place had 3 floors, very narrow and scratched staircase and no elevator. Only one toilet and shower in each floor and the toilet was not flushing properly and needed pumping at least 10 times. Also the toilet seat was leaking water to the floor from the base. Carpet was old and dirty everywhere, many marks on walls, shower room was old and very small and had a weakish water pressure and an unadjustable shower. Luckily there was a basin in the very tiny hotel room it self to brush the teeth and wash the hands and face at least. Breakfast was pathetic and everything constantly finished and everybody used their own spoon for the sugar pot — there was a sick person coughing and using his own spoon! I complained about all, but nothing happened. With very little effort it could have been an acceptable experience. I got an obvious lie that the plumber was not able to arrive to fix the barely functional and broken toilet because of a sick child. There must be more than one plumber in London! The attitude was to make maximum profit with minimum investment. The only good things were the clean sheets (no holes around the edges like in Australia), clean towel and the surpricingly quiet location (3rd floor) although max. 50 meters away from Earl's Court tube station.

Very hard to sleep in the room we got; there was a lot of noise from the trains as the hotels borders the London underground rail path. The room was tiny, Sheets were stained and no power sockets worked. Very basic continental breakfast with diluted orange juice. Good location.

This place is alright to go when the price is cheap but due to our Air b&b cancelling at the last minute we had to pay £300 for one night here. We tried negotiating the price but the manager was unsympathetic and took advantage of the fact we where stranded. The room we had was tiny and right over busy train tracks so it was hard to sleep. Generally run down and a bit grubby. Worth booking in advance and getting a good deal as the area is nice.

Really cheap and in a great location, but its right next to railway tracks and the room doesn't have good soundproofing so I couldn't sleep until the trains stopped. Breakfast is plain, just toast, cereal and coffee.

This is really a tough one to rate. Finally I decided to rate with good because: The location is perfect (for the price), the staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast was also fine (many many toast, butter and marmelade), bedcover and pillows clean (did not smell bad). The mattresses were very good to sleep well. Actuall, yes there are some topics that are not perfect. Furniture is old, bathroom looks odd, underground passes by just behind the house but we could sleep easily anyway, we did not find any bugs, the fridge was clean and big, everything old but it worked, Laundery and everything you need just around the corner. It is the price. The price is unbeatable but you can´t expext miracles for that. That´s it. Would I come back? maybe.

I had a room on the top floor, lovely view. Room was basic but definitely nice enough. Staff are very friendly. Would definitely come back. Very cheap and great value for money!

One side of hotel very close to very noisy tube line, the other quite good. Good location, with many restaurants around. Close to Earl's Court with direct and fast connection to central London.

We arrived at the Hotel on the afternoon of New Years Eve, we had booked overnight accommodation for the price of £169 for two people. On entering our room we noticed what looked like coca cola (we hoped) and orange juice stains all down the walls. The toilet bowl had remnants of red wine vomit all around the rim of the toilet and on the top near the toilet seat. As if this wasn't enough the pillow case had DRIED OLD BLOOD STAINS on it. We immediately went to Reception to check out and demand our money back but were fobbed off with the lame excuse that the Manager had to be contacted and he was not available. We were given a contact number for him to ring the next day but again he was unavailable. He was supposed to call us the following morning, but again nothing. Finally we tracked him down on January 2nd in the afternoon, he was unapologetic, very rude and refused a refund saying it was non refundable. I would strongly advise you not to book a room in this filthy establishment, it should not be allowed to trade as it is a health hazard and the staff are rude and unhelpful. We have had to give it a one star because it would not allow me to post otherwise but it does not deserve any stars!

Room dirty and low land. Is oia metro throughout the day. Not recommended.

Dirty, noisy, the worst hotel ever visited in Europe. We had to find another accomodation for the night because it was not possible to sleep there.

Shit hotel! Scambags! Very dirty full of bed bugs! Squeaky floors, no wall paint, broken toilet, broken lights, 1940 tv, all in a prison cell. Poor ventilation, unhygienic, totally unhabitable. Seriously need hotel standard authority to do inspection on this hotel. This hotel shouldn't be operating at all out of the concerns of health and safety issues, not until they undertake serious revamp.

Close to the centre of London. But otherwise the hotel is shabby not worth 38livres! We were in room 23, placed near the subway! A galley to sleep! The bathroom was terrible, beds are not comfortable at all, the breakfast there was not much to eat. The boss can roll with the latest luxury Mercedes…

The staff was nice and friendly. The room was small but clean. Location is very close to the Earl's court sub-way station and to many restaurants. Reasonable service and facilities for the price paid.

Four of us stayed in a 4 person room here for the NFL weekend at the start of October. For £54 each for 2 nights we couldn't really complain. I just wouldn't bring my wife here. But for lads it's great. Pros — location (awesome for transport links) — fast food outlets — small supermarkets — only £20 in a taxi from Soho area — hot shower with good water pressure — comfy bed — staff friendly Cons — cockroach in the bathroom — lots of mould in shower — dirty round the edges It just needs a bit of TLC and this could be a great hotel. Like I say I would never take my wife but for a bunch of lads it's fine. You get what you pay for.

This is a terrible hotel! I have never been in such a terrible hotel! I booked two nights, but I never lived in there, it is so terrible that I cannot live there. I had to leave to look for a better hotel. The staff said that it was not refundable! Every thing in the room is broken, dirty! The bath room was broken. The light was broken. The floor was very very dirty. Even the back of the room is railway. Every few minutes, a train is running. It was very noisy, I couldn't sleep. So at the mid night I decided to leave the this terrible place to find a better one. Do not go to this hotel.

Me and my partner took our first trip to London and had this hotel booked, upon entering the hotel we were greeted with a rather rude person who pointed us to our room, our room was relatively small with 2 single beds (although we booked a double) we had a window which on looked a wonderful alley way which was disgusting to look at and had a disgusting smell. The carpet in the room had blood stains on it, only one light worked, the paint on the walls were half peeled off. Although all of this was pretty bad we were having a good time until we found three cockroaches in our room.

Giving this place 1 star is a disgrace to other 1 star hotels and here is why. My girlfriend and I booked a room there and yes we know it's a really cheap hotel but this place is something special and definitely not in a good way. Let me paint you a picture. The area is actually great, it's really near a metro and close to the city. When you go into the hotel you find yourself in a very shallow, tiny dark hall that smells like it hasn't seen a vacuum or experienced any cleaning since Winston Churchill. When you get the keys from the clerk you venture up tiny old stairs that feel like they would break every step. The rooms are the highlight of the hotel, they are the Taj Mahal, the crown jewl best of the best. When you open the door you will find yourself looking at a tiny, dirty room. Not tiny and dirty like the hall or the stairs, this is a new level of tiny and dirty. The room is so small that it will make a Alcatraz prison cell look like a mansion, and a clean one that is. There is a small window, to dirty to actually look out, but still it's there, not to let in the light but the wonderful music of the metro passing by every 2-3 minutes. If you somehow manage to crawl over the bed and get to the bathroom you will find it quite artistic, it's carefully but thoroughly covered in mold.

Room dilapidated with a more than dubious hygiene. Sweet sound of the tac tac of the subway that passes 10 m. S bathroom is frozen in the 1960s including its cleaning. The breakfast was too light. Only positive close to one of the metro stations the better derservis.

I walked in and saw that the place was filthy. They charge for breakfast but don't serve breakfast before 8 am. I had difficulty finding the room because the directions were not clear. Rather than directing me the desk clerk expected me to guess that if I go through the room marked "Dining room" I will find the room. The desk clerk lurked around the corner, following me, and I discovered this when I actually turned back to go and ask for proper directions. The room was dark and smelly, and the entire room vibrated when the tube passed a few meters away — which meant no sleep during the hours when the tubes run. I did not even put my bag down and left immediately. This place is a disgrace.

Came here btwn 2009-2011 about 4 times. Super cheap so you pay for what you get. Rooms were spare and old, but felt clean. Train was annoying a few times, but they were accommodating with switching rooms. Did all my bookings online (i'm in the US) and never had any issues. My go to budget hotel in London.

I wish I had read the comment about being "eaten alive" earlier! The room was not exactly dirty, but incredibly old and ugly. I have stayed in a lot of hostels, but I have never felt so uncomfortable in a "HOTEL". When we came back to the room I discovered that a mouse had been in my suitcase and eaten part of my (wrapped) sandwich. I saw it hide under the bed, so we went to complain, but we received no help at all and not even an apology. During the night we were woken up by the mouse (it jumped in the rubbish bin) and I if that hadn't been enough, I I was itchy all over — guess it was fleas, because there were no signs of any mosquitos. And it is an outrage thatanyone posts here that it is a good deal to spend 50 Pounds to be totally grossed out and possibly be bitten by vermin. Apart from that, the breakfast is edible if you like tasteless toast, old butter (yellow at the edges) and jam. The water served in a bottle comes out of the tab BTW. Don't go there, book early or spend more money. I am not picky but this crossed even my limits.

I've stayed here 3 times now. Price is a bargain and its perfect for the tube/location. Decor is a bit old/dirty but sheets are glowing white clean. Tiny bathroom but at this price its fine. Only heard the trains in 1 of the rooms so depends where your room is. Would def stay again.

We arrived at the hotel, the "receptionist" had no idea of the organization of the "hotel, " in the beginning we said that in two days we ought to change room, but was finally not be so. As to the person of the other comments we had room number 1. The first impression was horrible, it seemed that the house of terror. The dirty floor, a dungeon, and the bathroom is disgusting but really with the passage of time you're getting used to it, and you think, total, I'm just going to sleep. When it comes time to sleep, you realize that every 5 minutes the metro will company and there's no one to paste an eye for very tired, but with the passage of days, the fatigue takes its toll and neither the metro nor the dirt of the hotel keeps you from sleeping. The breakfast is not bad at all, it's very basic with toast, juice and milk. That is, if there is favoritism. Depends on who it is, put more or less toast, or ask if you want more. The first day I broke the microwave, and all the days we had breakfast cold milk. Employees very edges. In their favor I will say that it is very well located, right in the center of the center of the city. In conclusion if you want to visit London without spending much money, you go to this hotel, but it brings after all the consequences are not few.

The "HIDEOUT" that gave us (no. 1), with cobwebs in all the corners of the ceiling, the carpet has dirt since queen elizabeth took the first communion, the bathroom very dirty, the mattress an authentic stone-broken-bones, and when you returned there for the night to top it off the beds were unmade, in addition to every 15 minutes it seemed that the metro went into the room. The stairs are very narrow, we did not even get off the suitcases and above what ta give for "breakfast" : the coffee is the water of washing the dishes, the tea is the water washing up the coffee cups, two toast and a kind of "brew orange" which called juice, that if you take, don't you get up and running to the bathroom. A real nightmare, not recommended, or the worst of your enemies. We are looking into the way to put a claim in consumption here in Spain, because in this " hotel ". ¡¡¡¡ they do not have or sheet of claims.

I do not recommend this hotel under any circumstances. Room tiny, bathroom extremely small, DIRTY, WITH COBWEBS, THE SHOWER was NOT working JUST OUT of BOILING WATER, IF BOILING! I stole a towel that I had, the BED WAS NOT STRAIGHT! SAVANNAS WITH A BAD ODOR. In addition, when we complain, we replied that if we wanted a 5 star hotel that pagasemos, that with the price that you have to not ask for more! ARE A FEW SCOUNDRELS! In addition, we ask for a COMPLAINT form and they GAVE US A SHEET of paper IN WHITE! HORRIBLE.

I found this hotel on the internet for being one of the cheapest. I was provided a small room with everything I needed over there (bed, toilet, shower), but when you are in London you really don't want to be stuck in your hotel room. The service is also very friendly. The hotel is located only 150 meters from the underground (in zone 1). The hotel is also located near supermarkets and all kind of food joints. One minus point is that you can feel every subway pass by. Not loud or annoying but you can hear/feel it. It's a hotel from which you don't have to expect extras. It is all very basic (small room, modest breakfast). If your standards aren't high this would be good, otherwise I would recommend a more expensive hotel with better service.
