We booked a hotel room and had to cancel the following day. The stay is a month away and the owner has refused to refund us. I understand there may be a cancelation fee but they have refused to refund us anything. This means he can double dip and re book another guest and keep my money. Thief.

Great hotel. Fantastic view from where you can admire the sea or the countryside. It is located in a quiet place. Breakfast is plentiful. The rooms are very clean.

A very complete hotel, we traveled as a family and found it ideal, the room was very spacious, no frills but very comfortable. The hotel had breakfast included, normalito, bread, croissants, cold cuts, tea, coffee and unnatural juice.

Good, quiet area, 400 m to the tube. Clean rooms, the staff was polite (that really sounds like I'm an old person — which I'm not! ) They could do something about the breakfast, it was very spartan to say the least. But it did the job.

Good hotel which was clean with friendly staff. It is a work in progress but this did not detract from our stay. The room was well appointed, good en suite, comfy bed. Only one issue which was the staff having an animated conversation in the dining area during breakfast. More annoying because it was in their own language so we're none the wiser what it was all about!

Nice Hotel in a quiet area of London. Close to the metro station which is well connected to the center. As a whole clean. Only flaw the breakfast is a little limited!

Hotel well placed in a good neighborhood, I insist good value for money, friendly and polite staff, just a lack of insulation of the rooms (no double glazing, the sound of the ceiling that creaks a bit).
The breakfast is very basic though. Don't expect an English breakfast.

Modest but with the basics, do not take the basement room you hear the subway quite, very well located places, for dinner or eating nearby pretty well.

Was located perfectly and was an ever so charming place to stay.

Everything is small, room, bathroom, bathtub, bed 180 cm long, aside from that, top location, 200m from Portobello very quiet, everything you want in the neighborhood and correct fare for London.

Good value for the family room… but don't be afraid of the noise of the subway.

The photos do not represent the hotel. Everything is old and cleanliness is limited. The hotel is poorly insulated, during this period of great cold, the room was difficult to warm up. The water from the shower is either too hot or too cold and when you are lucky enough to have the right temperature, the water pressure is no longer there. Not to mention that the window in front of the shower allows everyone to see. The bedding is suitable but without more. The breakfast has continental only the name. In short, the only advantage is the location. Finally I would have been less critical if the pictures reflected the reality.

Spacious room and hotel close to the Metro!

I was going to enter this Hotel, but entering the room had nothing to do with the pictures on the web. Very small, you could hardly walk around the bed. It was not cozy either, I was gone.

Hotel located in a very quiet area. Very helpful and attentive staff. Room for four people very large and clean. Recommended.

Nice Hotel in a beautiful neighborhood.

Quiet and convenient place. However no evaluator here, might be a problem for big luggage or less mobile visitors.

Excellent hotel in a prime London location for a tourist, for those that want to stay in an authentic London building that is just minutes away from Portobello Road Market, wonderful shops and great access to the tube where all of London is within easy reach. Very friendly staff, highly recommended, 5 stars.

Dirty, hanging cabinets if you touch them they fell on you, TV not working, bathroom noisy and to forget! Breakfast does not help you with your suitcases and not even call a taxi, non existent reception and Cafoni! I don't understand the three stars! The hostel was more comfortable and clean!

The hotel is correct except that you hear passing every subway train from the nearby line. Avoid at all costs the basement rooms where the sound is annoying.
The 4 rooms are very spacious, with a good bathroom, carpeting throughout the room, and very comfortable beds. However the room of 2 that we touched quite small, the front door touched with the bed and the bathroom for one person.
Overall quite clean and new after the refurbishment they are carrying out, except the furniture type cupboards and bedside tables that is still unrenewed and looks old.
Breakfast is limited to coffee, milk, juice, toasted cheese and ham, but enough to have a drink in the morning. The breakfast room is very nice.
The hotel is well located, two metro stops nearby, with shops and restaurants nearby.

Very good, but has no elevator, never select beyond the floor 1 why each floor has mezzanine.

Nice hotel, at reasonable prices. Clean and tidy. You certainly shouldn't have high standards for a hotel in this price range. For a trip to London, it's completely enough.

Really nice staff! The room was ok, everything we needed was there. The building itself was really beautiful. The breakfast wasn't big but it was ok. The location was excellent.

The room was very clean and the breakfast was very good. Correct cleaning.

Overall an ok hotell. The room was tidy and clean, breakfast ok, staff friendly and helpful and the underground station Notting Hill Gate was just a couple of minutes walk away.

Hi on May 14 we are there for 3 days times what to report.

Dirty and noisy Hotel located though in a quiet neighborhood and close to the Metro. The service was poor: I had booked two rooms and instead I have provided only one, Collocandoci extra beds. Also they made me pay the rooms first and only after they told me that there would be only one. Breakfast.

The hotel is relatively good in shot when compared with other hotels in England in the price segment and location. The rooms are very small, some mold in the bathroom can also be seen but as far as OK. The rooms in the basement take getting used to but if you only sleep in them … So far, everyone is very friendly and happy to help. Unfortunately we can't say anything about the food (breakfast) yet but the breakfast room is fine. Rest location, a few go minutes away from everything you need.

Friendly staff and great location. No lift, some rooms are really small and with almost no natural light nor ventilation.

Having booked a room with a bath, not a shower, was presented upon arrival with a room with several beds and a SHOWER. I had to protest vigorously before getting what I had reserved. The bathroom floor had slippery tiles on it and there was no bath mat. The plug that was on the side of the bath had no chain, so the following day I could not remove it from the plug hole. It was replaced by a metal one with a chain, again left on the side of the bath.
I was told not to close my door because the exterior had just been painted and it was still tacky. I padlocked my suitcase and put it into the wardrobe, as I had an appointment to get to.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was a shame that the plumbing woke me on each of the nights I stayed. When, on checking out, I informed the desk clerk of this, he just shrugged.
The so-called Continental breakfast was in fact a cold English one, consisting of two slices of toast, coffee, tea, orange juice, a choice of cornflakes, weetabix or muesli.
It is in a convenient location and is clean. Those are the two plus points.

Rooms are big (family of 5) a bit out dated but still comfortable. breakfast is minimal. free and good Wi-Fi. room is clean and good for good night sleep after long day in London.

Simple, very large and clean rooms. Was in tip floor and got excellent Wi-Fi signal still from lobby. Fridge and kettle in room, bit warm tho. Very warm, radiator off and window open, heat rises etc.

The outside of hotel is very deceiving; It looked well maintained. Upon entering, I noticed that the carpets are very worn and in places they have clear tape to hold the carpet down. The staff were friendly and helpful. The double bed in our room was lumpy and kept falling into the indents which lead to a sleepless night. Breakfast was included in the room rate and it was a choice of 3 cereals, orange juice, tea or coffee, and toast (white or brown). That was it, I least expected a continental basic breakfast with some different pastries or hand and cheeses for the toast.

Adequate. Great location. Zero breakfast.

Rooms clean. Bathroom ok, shower could have done with a scrub. Breakfast — a non event. Breakfast room did not appear to be clean. Reception hidden away in the back of the hotel. The stairs carpet seriously needs replacement — extremely worn and does not give a good first impression. Advantage for this hotel is its proximity to the Tube.

Nothing special, average hotel overall, but the price makes up for, especially in this area, note when even a small breakfast.

Nice hotel, clean and friendly place to stay. Nothing special, but considering the price it's a bargain. Especially recommended for its proximity to the subway, which is 100-200 metres from the hotel.

Well communicated. Clean. Pleasant. Abundant breakfast. Value: excellent. I was in January this year four days and I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend little and be in a place of the characteristics that I have said.

View the neighborhood (Notting Hill) there is an excellent value for money. Big room with TV, a wardrobe and a small fridge. Very large bathroom. Room cleaning is not optimal. Breakfast was plentiful and varied little.
