After reading the reviews online vs my experience with this hotel it is clear I was bamboozled. Upon arrival it was outdated and gloomy. Not sure what updates others see being done but it was a mess. I would recommend the hotel it is a beautiful building and the staff is nice however there are some fine tuning that could be done. The bathroom is long overdue for an update and although the pool is nice it had too much chlorine and could have been a little warmer. For the price it's well worth it.

Not a Safe Hotel there are No working Fire Alarms or Sprinklers! During my stay there was a Fire it was terrifying. We spent two hours outside. The room smelled awful when we returned to the room. Hotel did nothing for the guests! Dont stay at this Hotel.

They have an indoor and outdoor pool which the children enjoyed even in the rain.

We just checked in and I just wanted to say the gentleman at the front desk was just so nice! he was friendly and welcoming! Thank you to housekeeping as well for taking care of getting us a room quickly!

The hotel was clean and fresh and the beds were very comfortable. The meeting room was big enough to accommodate our needs and the food was delicious.

This hotel is the best hotel in all Virginia I have actually ended up staying here for a total of three weeks because I love it so much. So I can move in permanently I would. The general manager Cassie is awesome they have free breakfast free Wi-Fi clean rooms clean sheets everything you need and more. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and there's tons of places that you can go and eat and shop within 2 miles. Why go anywhere else but the Wyndham because all the other ones don't even begin to compare.

Nice place quite accommodating to your requests. They did a rose petal display for our anniversary.

Could use an update on paint and general maintenance bathrooms need exhaust fan gets so hot and slippery, but overall I had a nice stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, loved the noon checkout!

I'm surprised at all the negative reviews. The rooms on the fifth floor are nice and clean, and pretty large for this price. The complementary breakfast was way beyond what I expected: eggs, sausage, home fries, chicken, pancakes, grits, pastries, bread. A nice change from the waffle iron and dry muffins I've seen at many other Wyndham locations. Staff was friendly upon check in, and very helpful when we needed something. Would recommend.

The rooms were much nicer than I expected for the price per night. The breakfast was good quality and complimentary. Would recommend.

Tried to check-in at 2:40 and was told they didn't take check in until 3pm. We would have to wait plus there were others a head of us. When 3pm came they took people before is that came after us. The room was dated, TV was poor, our room was right on an outdoor deck and we had to keep the blinds closed so everyone could not look in. A. C. Was loud. The bath room had no shelf or counter, the faucet had a leak. When you turned it on it sprayed you. When we checked out and informed them of our issues they just replied ok. This is privately owned Wyndham. Will never stay here again.

Overall, the hotel was okay. We stayed on the first floor which was rather smelly and old looking (including our room) unlike the lobby which was beautiful. We were just staying for one night so it was bearable. The bed was very comfortable and I was able to sleep very well. This hotel is not perfect or even great, but it is functional and it was good for our trip.

Check in was a mess. There were multiple people behind the desk, most just sitting there doing nothing. While this is taking place, there is a long line of customers trying to check in the employees doing nothing should at least be trying to help the girl checking people in. Now for the room. The bed felt like it was made of bricks. I know hotel rooms aren't supposed to be the best beds, but this literally felt like sleeping on bricks. There are no blackout curtains. The room we were in was facing a well lit parking lot so we had a lot of light in our room. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars and not 1 is the couch, which is where we slept. That at least is somewhat comfortable. My boyfriend, the one who booked the room, was also charged twice. This is not acceptable.

I was only in the side ballroom for Friday prayer, and the staff were really accommodating. Decor was nice with a warm, glow. Parking is ample.

A nice hotel with a pool and a place to work out. They have laundry service as well as free breakfast. It's good.

I have to say I was not pleased with some of the things in this hotel. A nearby room had begbugs and the sink was rusty. The curtains were very thin and see-through. I would recommend this hotel, though watch out for the bed bugs!

Super good buffet! Probably the best part. Owner super nice and friendly. Would go back again if ever in the area. Rooms are nice and neat with tons of space.

My room was WONDERFUL. I had a King on the 5th floor, very large yet cozy, business like yet personal. Bedding very comfortable. We were in need of a quick simple bite to eat and a cocktail, and of course did not want to drive, the front desk called to see if — city-grill was still open which was within walking distance. We walked down the road, and across the street (easy-peasy) and had a great time. Thank you again to the staff for going just that little step extra for their guests! The hotel was clean, and all staff was friendly. We did not use the pool or weight room however, we knew people that did and they were pleased as well. Continental breakfast in the morning was pleatiful and tasty. BREAKFAST WAS WELL MAINTAINED :) NICE WORK! I would return again without a doubt, and would highly recommend this hotel!

Great hotel, a little worn but well kept, breakfast was on point, grilled chicken with veggies seemed home made almost would come back just for the breakfast.

Stayed here for 6 days and felt reasonably comfortable. I'll admit the rooms and (especially) the halls smell slightly of smoke. Since I was staying by myself, had no problem with outlets. First night, the system glitched and two people tried to come into my room even though it was occupied by me, and it was all cleaned up by the morning. Business computers were down, but the Wi-Fi was good for casual use (i. E. Facebook and youtube watching). Shower bar was partly coming off the wall, but otherwise didn't find any bedbugs. My main complaint however is the lack of food options for those who don't have a car. There isn't a sidewalk underneath the highway to get to the majority of the food options and the nearby mall doesn't have a crosswalk on this block. The restaurant downstairs though is reasonably priced and quality. Otherwise, reasonably comfortable.

This place is so gross. The second I walked in the bed it was itchy and now I’m itching head to toe. My friends had bed bugs and mold in their room and had to be switched. Disgusting.

There were 2 large stains. One on the carpet and one on the headboard. The sink drained very slow. When I've stayed in the past, this hotel was clean, affordable, and in a great location. The staff was friendly, the continental breakfast was good, however, we got the budget version on Monday because they were preparing for an inspection and wanted to keep the kitchen clean. The bathroom was nice aside from the sink (Hot water and good shower pressure). The location is great! Next to dining, shopping, a movie theater, and I 66. I just think this place showed signs of decline… like a typical Comfort Inn or Best Western.

Rooms were ok. The painting made the hotel look old. The breakfast was amazing real eggs and potatoes best part of waking up!

The food was very mediocre and caused me to feel sick after breakfast. Other ppl also found blood on the curtains and a wasp in their room. The only thing I liked were the spacious rooms and it's location near dc.

The hotel is well-located and priced competitively, plus the bed was very comfortable and the room spacious and clean. However, the hotel is dated and maintenance appears sub-par: our toilet would not flush and we got stuck in the elevator, both of which were addressed reasonably promptly. Nevertheless, we saw bits and pieces of unaddressed wear-and-tear throughout. Disturbingly, when we got stuck in the elevator, the front desk did not appear at all surprised, as if getting stuck is routine here.

The room looked dirty (i. E. Walls, carpet), there were not enough outlets. The cabinet in the room was leaning. I woke up to a BED BUG crawling on me and saw a couple more crawling around. When I told the staff they acted as if it was no big deal. I received the wrong order for my food from their restaurant and this took 3 days to fix even after speaking with management. The room reeked of smoke. The hallways smelled of smoke as well. You could see boxes lined up in the hallways. This hotel is in bad need of a renovation and should not be rated with 3 stars.

I found 5 bedbugs. We had to leave at 1am in the morning. I posted a more detailed review on yelp which includes pictures. The hotel offered us another room but never again will I stay here.

Roomy welcoming lobby. Friendly and helpful staff. Room is clean and roomy. Comfortable chair. Plus a very generous desk with several outlets and use connections for charging. Very nice cabinet houses the microwave and small refrigerator. Did not hear the refrigerator. Has the in the wall a/c which kept the room comfortable. It is noisy but that drowns out any other noises. So see as a plus. Have a full breakfast buffet included. Enjoyed our stay. Got a wonderful rest.

Bathroom facility not up to par. Toilet was so low it was like sitting on the floor; refrigerator door would not stay closed; maid service not very good; no luggage stands, no fan in bathroom; beds to high, really needed a foot stool to get on be; indoor pool was out of service could not use. Did have a decent complimentary buffet breakfast and flat screen TV. Would choose another place to stay.

NOT SAFE NOT SAFE NOT SAFE! I worked at Wyndham I've seen FBI come in, prostitutes staying in the hotel not safe at all for anyone. Staff are hard working people who deserve way better then what they get with the manager ADIL! he takes advantage of every employee and messes with their hours. Whenever their was an issue he would say "not my problem" or "don't involve me" whenever guests wanted to speak with him he would tell all front desk to inform them that he was not here. While working there I witnessed him take a payment from a guest $350 was the total he went back and took out $591 from the guests credit card without their consent. He always told me "Learn to lie to the guests" he has absolutely no respect save yourself from ever staying here he will not refund you any money back and look for any reason not to.

Our favorite hotel to have a get away at. The breakfast is always hot and great choices. Love that there is an indoor and outdoor pool. SO Close to shopping, movies, and so many great restaurants to choose from.

Actually this hotel is okay if you're kind of desperate. Don't have much money but need a place to stay. I've stayed at Wyndham hotels that were incredibly better than this. The bar/restaurant was okay. The chef is good. Wait staff probably tired of rotten tips, etc. But nice.

The shower was fab. The bed was omg fantastic. The fridge was huge (comparative). Clock radio worked fine. The wardrobe was beautiful until I noticed all 3 doors didn't close. There was no fan in the bathroom. Last, but not least, around 10 or 1030 this morning, the maid came in. Y'all should send your Spanish speaking employees to the college up the road to learn English, so we could all communicate more efficiently.

Male and female at the desk, male was very rude; the female was nice. Took about 5 minutes to get the key card to work. Dried blood on the shower curtain, so we eventually got them to switch us rooms, since they claimed that since no maids were on duty, they couldn't get us a new curtain. Electrical plug box just sitting out in the open (what?!? ) with gaps in the cover on it (picture) … luckily I didn't have my 1-year-old with us trying to electrocute himself. Some other guests informed us the elevators were broken the entire day prior. Hotel in general was dirty, with smells alternating between old musty dirt, fish, and armpit. The new room had a heavy smell of cigarette, when I had signed a paper saying that of I smoked in the room I would be charged extra; I called the front desk to inform them so I wouldn't be charged, and the male we again, rude. The beds were comfy, but no curtains mean the sun woke us up around 7. The breakfast had good variety though, and the morning lady was nice. About a $50/night motel experience, but with bigger rooms.

Checkin was very customer friendly without Amy hassle. Room is nice size and clean. Always appreciate their above average breakfast options. We traveled an extra 10 miles to stay at this hotel because previous experience was positive. Recommend this hotel.

I almost canceled my reservation based on reviews. I booked it on Hotels Tonight for $100. My room was very clean, which I was most worried about, and the bathroom was clean and stocked. The elevator was out of service or slow and the hallways could use a remodeling/updating. I would stay again. The desk was busy due to an Incubus concert, but friendly. The breakfast buffet scrambled eggs and sausage were delicious. Most importantly, my room felt clean. I called for an early check in, as stated on the website, but it was not available. Neither is an early checkout.

Room not ready. This weekend was a concert weekend and the hotel was not prepared. We asked for king bed and received 2 double beds. We had to return down to desk and finally received a king bed. Don't waste your time in this hotel. They don't apologize for not being ready or giving us a wrong room/bed.

Clean, comfortable beds, nice blackout shades. Got in late and left early, so couldn't checkout the pool.

The rooms are nice but the other amenities are not that good. It appears that the management is running this place to the ground. The housekeeping staff will just barge in your room without knockin. The pools are ok but the fitness center is a joke. It is right by the indoor pool and it is very humid and very hot in the fitness center. The equipment is not maintained at all and none of the TV's work. There is only 1 washer and dryer for the whole hotel. The restaurant has no menu in the rooms so if you want room service you will have to go to the front desk to order. For the price of this hotel, I strongly recommend other hotels that are close by. This hotel is supposed to be a 3 star hotel and it should be a 2 star at best.

It was an enjoyable experience. I loved the bed; it was very supportive. It really helped my traumatic experience.

If you like to sleep late this is not the place for you. The slamming doors from the other rooms will wake you nice and early. It will also wake you in the middle of the night. Or when ever anyone opens there door. The doors are heavy metal sounds like a car collision when it closes.

One of those hotels on the edge of losing a star. Filthy elevators, 1 person working the entire place, this is my third strike attempting to stay at Wyndham hotels. When we got to our room it was not the room we paid for and had to get another room.

Will not stay there again. Only one accessible power outlet in the room, and it was about 20 feet from the bed. So using a laptop or phone from the bed was difficult. Checkout time is noon, but that didn't stop the maid from waking me up at 9AM by knocking and then opening the door. I called the front desk to complain, and they apologized, but it happened again an hour later while I was showering! Other more minor issue: the bathroom literally had zero counter space for toiletries. I haven't had any of these problems with nearby competitors.

Was there in attendance for a conference. The breakfast was great and the staff was nice and attentive.

The rooms were great, management was super helpful, very clean and affordable, overall great stay. Also the free breakfast was really really good.

Terrible customer service. My bedding smelled like URINE when I checked into my room and they made a huge fuss over changing the bedding. They tried to make me wait an entire night before it was changed. Room was dirty, too. I STRONGLY recommend that you find another hotel if you are staying in Northern Virginia.

It was a nice hotel the people there are great but they have bed bugs on the first floor the second floor and the third… they wouldn't give me a refund they offered me free rooms I said no why would I want a free room that's infested with bedbugs so now I'm not allowed to go back to the hotel they banned me I suggest no one stay at this hotel if you have family in your end up with bites all over you.

Hotel elevator is still out of service. Front desk staff just did not care. You could sense a hidden "could care less" behind a fake smile. Small group check in and required the travel agent to get involved to get into our already ready rooms. One didn't get in until almost 4pm. This is not acceptable. Hotel property is slipping and lost their Sheraton name. Not worth being tagged with the Wyndham name either. UPDATE: restaurant was great! Chicken Alfredo was killer. Great service.

Extremely poor customer service! When I booked the room I requested adjoining or close proximity rooms, because I was travelling with teenagers. The said they could only put us on separate floors. We were in the rooms for less than 30 minutes and off to DC for a concert. We didn't get to the rooms until 130 am. The girls told me on the way home that their bed had clean sheets but the mattress smelled like pee. By the time I arrived at home they called accusing them of peeing the bed, I explained what happened and asked them to check the sheets and check who stayed the night before and get back to me. They stated that she knew of the request to have close rooms and would explain to her manager and call me back. There was never a call back only a charge to my credit card. We called again and no call back. Its a shame my husband works in Manassas and had stayed there often.

Worst night I've ever had in a hotel. We found hair in our beds, blood stained pillows, dirt on the walls. We were refused when we requested fresh linens from the night manager, even after we offered to change them ourselves. The carpeting was stained. We were refused any refund. Do not stay here, even if you get a discounted rate, it is not worth the headache. Stay away.

Should not have the Wyndam name associated with this hotel. A/C didn't work, bath tap leaked, and house keeping was poorly trained. The house keeper came in after the first night and threw my pajamas in a pile to make the bed (normally house keepers will at least place the garments nicely on a suitcase or put them back where they found them). Two days in a row house keeping came through and didn't reset the coffee station or put away the iron. One day they even took only one of the two towels hanging in the bathroom (either take them both or take neither, why just one? ) Vending machines wouldn't take my crisp $10 bill nor my credit card. Same thing happened to a young girl beside me, so we both had to march up a level to front desk to get quarters… Front desk only had $1.50 worth! Only thing good was the indoor+outdoor pool and adjacent workout area. However, even the gym was suffering with two broken ellipticals, two noon-functional TVs and a free weight set that started at 25lb dumbbells — where were the 3-20 lb weights?!?! Not a good experience. No wonder the room rate was on discount.

Worst experience I've had at any hotel, let alone a wyndham. I am extremely disappointed with not only the customer service, but the room itself was dirty when I got there, I requested sheets that never came, was told they didn't have anyone to bring a luggage carrier when I was by myself with an infant, and elevators weren't functioning properly. They also removed breakfast before 845 when they tell you they serve it until 10 or 1030 and above all else I got accused of destroying something and got charged for it, when I quite literally removed it from the bed immediately and hadn't touched it again until I left to throw it back on the bed. I stay at numerous wyndhams because I travel for work and I refuse to give them money at this point. The general manager, azay kumor, then told me that there were many other hotels in the area and he didn't need my business. He was incredibly disrespectful and rude.

Older hotel. Rooms nicely appointed and large. Staff courteous. But old is a problem. Guest laundry is out of service. One of two elevators (five floors) is out of service. Also a problem in the morning with cleaning staff chatting and using elevators so that waiting times are quite long. Wireless Internet about 5Mbps Down. Around 1.5Mbps Up. Adequate. Haven't tried the restaurant. Probably won't use this hotel again.
