A day of rest… rest in my hotel bed and rest in the Lord’s word.
I desperately need his inspiration and instruction. Yesterday was very stressful. And in the midst of that strenuous work of moving I get a call from the Wood Spring extended stay hotel telling me they’re overbooked and we’re not going to have a room as it turns out, they apologized and that was that. Add to that the aggravation dealing with the NEW landfill nonsense when I decided to pitch the bed and get a new one. And never-mind the cold wind feeding my arthritis pain, I feel like the walking dead. Just glad it’s over. Quite literally La Quinta take me away!

I felt right at home! We walked through the room door and it was pumpkin spice heaven! This place was made for me lol.

All in all, not a terrible place. The beds are great, pretty clean but we were tired when we got there at 11:00 pm. The desk clerk was useless. We asked about where to get some pizza & couldn't give me a number or a flyer because it didn't have the phone number on it anyway.? He was super busy looking at his phone & apparently I was annoying. The manager is non-existent but if I got paid for doing nothing I'd fly under the radar too.

Had a really nice stay with our big laid back dog. Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. Breakfast is just so-so, but happy for the coffee and fruit. Also nice to have the fridge and microwave in the room. We would definitely stay here again.

Evacuated from hurricane Florence when we stayed. We needed a place that let our cat, Lucy, stay. They were very polite and helpful, the bed and room were awesome. My water stayed burning hot through my shower and the breakfast was free and delicious. Would definitely stay again!

This place was great! Very clean, free breakfast, indoor pool, friendly staff, and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on! Super convenient to 66. I will definitely be staying here again.

Location has a lot of food and stores nearby, but it's not a big city. Only a couple of non-chain restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel is very good, lobby has comfy seats and is air conditioned. Room was large, bed was nice, shower had good pressure, hotel has a little store in the lobby for buying sweets or soda. Didn't use pool, looks ok.

Not bad but there are definitely some issues. No one is ever at the front desk. The rooms are a little on the small side and the bathrooms could use a little work. Overall not a bad value considering the other hotel options in the area.

Very nice place to stay, very quiet, but the only issue is that the pool is indoors, and when you come into the front door, you are greeted with the strong smell of chlorine. Other than that problem, the room was very clean. Alot of different restaurants to choose from, and very close to the hotel. The hotel was 25 min away from D. C. And the morning traffic getting there wasn't that bad. Very good place to stay if you are visiting D. C.

La Quinta always delivers. The Bull Run Manassas location is no exception. Everything was exceptionally clean from the parking lot all the way to the deepest corners of the room. All staff I had contact with were smiling and friendly. I'll be contacting corporate headquarters with praise for this location!

The bed is comfortable and the staff is very accommodating. The free breakfast (which isn't really free) leaves much to be desired. I've stayed at many La Quintas and this is by far the least appealing breakfast. Pool was nice and well. Parking doesn't seem to be big enough for the amount of rooms. Great location. Easy access to I66, the Battlefield park and lots of restaurants.

All over the country, I would rather stay at a La Quinta than almost any other hotel. They're always impeccable. And they are truly "puppy friendly".

I stayed at this La Quinta for quite a few nights before flying out of Dulles. There were ups and downs, and a few complications, but overall they were accommodating and friendly. I am rating them two stars because even after discussing my bill several times with several front desk personnel and the general manager (who assured me the extra charge would come off), I was still charged for an extra night.

We always stay in a Laquinta, if one is available where we need it. We had reserved a 2 room suite with a King bed, which we have done before. The room was supposed to have doors, but they didn't. Then, they were very rude and we've only run into that problem at a Laquinta one other time. We are Elite members and we are usually treated very well, so this. Was a surprise and not a positive one!

La Quainta are one of the best chains of hotels around. Most have either just finished renovations or are undergoing them now. Pets stay free is the biggest perk and with the new rooms I think these guys beat or exceed hilton and Marriott. No reason to pay more for a name.

Only stayed 1 night but the front desk was quick and even checked on us after getting into our room. They have a pool and workout room plus breakfast. Rooms are clean and tho the price was more than advertised online it was not much more. Great to get off the road and into a good bed.

I would like to rate the hotel higher but the construction outside early in the morning was a little annoying. The hotel breakfast was good but not the best I've ever had. The room was neat and in good condition. Bathroom was nice. Word of advice for those making notes on a travel site. Call after making your reservation because the front desk staff informed us that they do not get the notes.

The rooms here are very nice and updated. The suites are small, but the executive Kings are great. People are very nice. No hot tub, but there is an indoor pool.

I'm giving this particular La Quinta 3 stars because while it met the definition of "hotel" it had some rough edges. I've been at much nicer La Quintas which is what surprised me at my stay here. The staff were pleasant and upgraded my room for free at my arrival. However, the quality of the room and amenities is what took me aback. Things like several dead bugs on my window sill, hair in my towels (hopefully it was clean hair that had hung on through the wash), and my AC controls not working. I'm sure I could have called the front desk and asked to change rooms, but in my opinion, the rooms should undergo a more scrutinous quality check than what they appear to.

Service was good and friendly. A hot and good continental breakfast is always welcome. Place is very clean. I would stay here again with not objection.

The breakfast was lacking. No toppings for the waffles, No orange juice for breakfast, no whole milk to drink, the half and half curlded when put in to coffee. No sweet and low available. The breakfast attendant didn't speak English. The room was clean, and the hotel was clean as well. But you get what you pay for with the breakfast, it's free.

I’ve stayed here several times because it’s a good place to split up the drive between where I live and where my family lives. It’s not a luxury hotel by any means, but it is always clean, quiet, and most importantly for me, pet friendly. The staff is always courteous, and the rates are very affordable.

The hotel is okay and the location is convenient. They have a pool and they provide free parking and breakfast. However the brakefast is not so grand. Not many options if you are a pick eater.

Been staying here solo for a week now… Great room, comfy bed, housekeeping is to be commended for keeping the hotel spotless. 2 flat screen tv's, easy to hook up your game system to, if u are into that. No complaints. If I had one suggestion it would be that the Kids at the front do more to welcome guests. I mean, when I checked in, no one so much as said "enjoy your stay". The kid just slapped my room key on the desk and turned his back. Improve on this and get five stars.

Extremely nice staff, clean room, convenient location.

This hotel was clean, modern, and a great price. Next time I travel, I will look for a La Quinta Inn. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything worked properly in the room. The bed was very comfortable. They had a few different types of pillows on the bed to choose from also. We had a king suites. It had a wall partition to partially separate 2 areas. This was great. We had a king bed and TV in one area and a sofa and TV in the other. Our only complaint is there wasn't enough room on the bathroom vanity.

The room was a little on the small side, the service was poor, and trying to get a hold of the manager was a royal pain. A manager needs to be on duty at all times! And good luck trying to get an issue fixed after the maintenance guy leaves for the day, since the front desk staff isn't trained to do it. Do not stay here if it can be helped.

I worked for few months in this motel and I would like to share couple of thing with all new or old guest. I would not recommend this motel for these major reasons: 1. The owner of this motel is GAY. 2. He is playing and hiding so many things to his partner. 3. Cheap behavior with all staff member. 4. If you are working with him then will tell you don't share anything with my partner. 5. Scam/Fraud in terms of money. and the funny thing is, this motel owner hired one manager and that manager don't take shower and still he likes him LOL.

Room was terrible. It smelled of mildew and the toilet ran all night. I would suggest a room elsewhere.

Comfortable bed, good breakfast, friendly staff.

Absolutely loved the place! Super friendly staff, clean rooms, comfy beds… pillows were lacking however. Close to anywhere you want to go. Their continental breakfast was so so. I asked for regular butter for my toast and was told they don't keep butter. Other than the pillows and the lack luster breakfast (hey its free though) this was an all around great place for our families stay.

There were nice amenities and the staff were lovely. The location is pretty good being close to a lot of nice places.

Remote control on room did not work. Change it 4 times and nothing. Had to be changing channels all night by hand. Front desk did not do anything. The room was very nice.

Came down to visit Manassas for the Anniversary of the first battle. The hotel was very pretty and welcoming, and the pool was open until 10pm. I think it opens at 7am. So, I was able to swim for a half hour before catching late dinner at a local diner after my two hour plus drive down. Greatly appreciated. Breakfast was eggs, rolls of deli ham in a heating unit, sausage gravy, assorted cereals, bagels, oatmeal, and mini muffins. I thought everything I tried was pretty tasty!

Beautiful hotel — I walked in and was pleasantly greeted by Piero, the front desk manager, who was helpful till the moment I left. I liked that the eating area is right the the left of the main entrance and with their modern and warm design, it feels totally like home there! Johana who served breakfast was so kind, helpful, friendly, and the food was delicious as well as the music was always good. I loved all the furniture and open windows, and pretty much felt like not leaving the breakfast area because of how relaxing the atmosphere is there Said & Keluin at front desk were also helpful and has such a friendly attitude. In addition to using my 11K points, I paid for a portion of my stay and it was money well-spent!

After what happened in North Carolina it was heavenly. Clean rooms, great service, great breakfast and all around nice place. Definitely would recommend them.

The pool… the rooms… Everything is fine. Ample enough to spend the night.

Really nice staff, good amenities and the breakfast was one of the best with the most assortment I've ever seen from a free hotel breakfast! Very clean and comfortable place!

Horrible… Got woken up at 7:00am from a fire alarm and was guided outside for a little over an hour… Plus our lights were shut off had to use our phone as a flash light for a couple hours… Breakfast was nasty and very dry also checked the credit card statement and was charged for 50$ for something we didn't do. Very bad experience!

Front desk clerk Andy was very friendly and took a lot of time explaining the rewards program and hotel services. The room is clean and the grounds are pretty nice. Overall I am very pleased and will most likely stay here again.

I stayed here at the Manassas, VA LaQuinta for 3 weeks because this is where my employer setup reservations for everybody. It was a terrible experience. I'll never go back. Needless to say, our employer dropped the LaQuinta with some 20+ employees, and moved us to a much better hotel in the area. The manager was impossible to reach. He doesn't respond to emails. The wrongfully charged a few of us with damage charges even though nothing was damaged. My guess is they was just trying to sceme some extra income in the mix. Like I said, there was 20+ employees staying there and it was all paid under 1 account. It could of been easily overlooked especially when they began acting very strange when I asked for the receipt as many did not. And BTW, they call this hotel a "Inn and Suite, " their suite consists of a mini fridge and a tiny cheap microwave placed on cabinets with 2 televisions instead of 1, as well as a small couch. That's what they consider a suite. Don't waste your money. There are many many better hotels within. 5 to 3 miles of this place that are much nicer, better staff, and prices are the same if not cheaper. Hope this helps.

The pictures of this location looked amazing. Almost too good to be true, well it was too good to be true. Our room had black mold on the ceiling. Probably because the fan worked very poorly. Their were uninvited visitors, such as: ants, spiders & earwigs. I tried the pull out couch & woke awfully stiff & sore. So ended up sleeping on the couch, which was only a love seat. I didn't go into the pool or tub. I was told by my roommates that temperature was not consistent. Was also disappointed the gym was "Out of Order" during my stay. I also, be cautious of the snack bar area. Not sure how long that candy has been sitting. My candy was stale. I guess the only half decent thing correct was the breakfast wasn't terrible. I wouldn't recommend this location. Go next door to the Holiday Inn!

Huge, very nice room. Breakfast was decent.

The hotel was very clean, rooms are comfortable and well equipped with microwave and fridge. The mattress was soft and comfortable. They allow dogs which is a plus, it is very rare there is not an additional charge so no fee was very nice.

It's a really good 2.5 star. Nice rooms, large headboards, EXCELLENT tub and shower. Kingsize bed needs flipping. Hallways a little noisy. That's about it for negatives. Easy to get to off the highway.

New hotel, nice updated interior. Big pool, hot tub.

Looked nice and clean. Said beds were Queens, not they are double. Toilets didn't flush after a few uses. Gave access to empty adjoining bath, that didn't work either. Breakfast was unappealing. Waffle maker was crusty. Won't stay here again.

Solid hotel. Nothing special. Decent breakfast.

This was an excellent experience. Jessica B. Checked us in and was very helpful; she called our room after we settled just to make sure everything was OK — that's a "service" that is seldom done and so we appreciated her checking in on us! She should be complimented for her "customer service" as it was exceptional. The next morning Alex L. Checked us out, helped us with directions and off we went, having had a great stay.

Jessica B checked us in at the front desk and she was so cordial and kind. Our son began a new job today and we didn't know a lot about the area. She was patient and helped us with any questions that we had about our new surroundings. We felt right at home as I always do at Marriott Hotels. As a Silver Elite Marriott member I was so happy that this hotel is extra neat and clean. The staff members are very nice and helpful, too. When we came in and Jessica greeted us with a smile and a welcome, we were so happy! Thanks to Jessica B for making us feel so "loved".

We stayed here in April 2014 and had a very positive experience. The hotel was very clean and the staff perfectly helpful. The breakfast was great. Really it was a nice place to stay, no complaints.

This is the WORST hotel I've every stayed in. I stayed at 6950 Nova Way manassas VA location August 23-25, 2013. The first room was infested with bugs bitting me and my friend. Then we were moved to another room and the television did not work at all, nor would the A/C turn off, so were were moved to a 3rd room that had food and trash on the floor. On top of all that, there was a dirty pair of black underwear laying at the front door when we returned to the hotel Saturday evening around 6:30 pm. Please, someone please tell me why the same pair of black underwear were still directly in front of the door when we checked out Sunday at Noon. Everyone had to step over the underwear to enter/exit the hotel. That should tell you enough about the staff at this loction. It only got worst when the hotel double charged my card and when I called to inquire about the charges and Alex Lopez (name I was given) answered the phone. Alex lied about his title (said he was Manager, then changed it to Front Office Clerk), then Alex said he was the ONLY one working at the hotel when I called, and Alex refused to give me his superior's name. I am very disappointed with this facility and the staff and angry about the bug bites. Sounds like the BBB and local healh department need to be aware of this facility.

Had a fabulous experience at this hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff! Francisco, the breakfast host, was so sweet and attentive. We had a team of rugby players who all enjoyed the hotel.

I had visited the Fairfield Inn previously, when there was some personnel confusion and it took some time to sort it out. However, this visit was 100 better, as the staff was polite to a fault, and Francisco (the employee who ran the Fairfield kitchen area) did a terrific job — I cannot remember a more attentive employee.

We just returned from a group event and wanted to say that the service was excellent. The Breakfast host was exceptional and arrived early to accommodate our group — we couldn't have been happier with our stay. Plus, the remodel looks awesome.
