Staff was very friendly, kids loved the swimming pool, family friendly, this is my 3rd time staying here,.

Great overall. From the time of check in, everyone was so friendly. They have a great breakfast that was included in the price of the room. I think their prices are more then fair for the service and would highly recommend.

Decent enough hotel in a good location. Rooms need some updating, but are clean. Close to several restaurants and a Target is in walking distance.

It was alright I guess. The room had a smell that was not really bad but not cleaners or carpet smell just kind of an old smell really. The room was clean and other than the oder I guess it was acceptable but won't be my first choice on my next stay.

Really nice hotel. Loved the room with the large fridge and microwave, desk with comfortable chair, couch and coffee table made eating our dinner nice and easy. Breakfast had plenty to choose from including hot oatmeal and fresh fruit. Bed and pillows were comfortable also. More hotels need to realise people need more outlets available for re charging all the electronics and that sometimes both people in the bed need outlets for cpap machines. This hotel had plenty. Very clean rooms the breakfast was always filled. Some staff members could not help because they spoke no English.

This was a fantastic hotel, especially for the price. It was also a lifesaver when I had to check my bf out of the hospital and didn't know where to take him. The pool was an enormous help with childcare! Breakfast was yummy and plentiful, Also a big deal for the kiddo. The only drawback I could find is that the free Wi-Fi did not seem as secure as it could be. The bf's iPad got hacked, I can't say for sure it was there, but I'll upgrade to the secure internet or join Hyatt rewards to get it for free next time. Overall, the room was nice and up to date, towels had a "green" program you could participate in, the complimentary shower stuff was Neutrogena so it was nice, and the hotel staff were universally friendly, accommodating and nice to deal with. I would go there again easily.

Welcoming desk staffers. Every hotel staff I saw made sure I didn't need anything. Hot and fresh breakfast every morning met our expectations. Luz who maintained the cleanliness of my room did a phenomenal job! Great overall experience.

Malfunction with the power system. Lights flickering all early morning, fire alarm sounding, limited breakfast because they couldnt make food. A bit disappointing.

I can't really say anything was bad, not nothing was exceptional either. The staff was friendly but the facility just felt old. This property reminds me more of an old style motel. I had higher expectations considering the nightly rate. The breakfast buffet was decent. Fresh do it yourself waffles and fruit. French toast sticks, sliced smoked sausage and scrambled eggs. If I were to visit the area again I would try a different property for lodgings.

A good hotel is hard to find in Richmond it seems. The reviews overall were good here, but bottom line, I did not have a restful stay here, and probably won't stay again. Overall, the room seemed standard Hampton Inn fare, the room ceilings were high, which had me concerned… more later. Digital key let me check in and go straight to the room. Firs, the Wi-Fi internet was terrible. I was getting better service from the McDonalds signal from next door. It kept cutting out, and was slow. I couldn't get any work done. Staff was unaware of any problems, but I did just now find at least one other reviewer with the problem. I called it quits pretty late. The business center could have been better, it was along the main front desk area, so not discreet at all as I was trying to print off some sensitive docs. The shredder was broken. The printer had some certificates in it and I had to log back in and reprint. The carpet in the room was torn, but the bathroom was large and clean. Hamptons have some of the worst pillows in my opinion, not supportive at all. The desk was right next to the heater, it was difficult for me to get comfortable in the room as it blowed right on me while working, but was too hot away from it. … To the high ceilings. I noticed it was very echo-y when I was talking. This proved to be the (I thought) last straw early the next morning as I could hear someone elses toilet flushing, them thumping across the floor, and every-single-door closing on the floor.

Excellent hotel, close to everything, and great area. Hotel is walking distance from Target.

Nice place but Wi-Fi sucks! All of them! The hot water at breakfast bar tasted like coffee… not a good way to try and make tea.

At Christmas they do not make the room for reduced service but they communicate it at night with a message under the door. When I complain and remember that I pay the room as the other days, I reply that I do not pay the maid service in the room. So every other day I get it for free?

A great Hampton Inn, but no bottled water in the fridge. Everything else was perfect as expected.

Stayed for 2 nights. Good location with plenty of restaurants and shopping stores. The staff was very friendly and professional. First night Jessica was very helpful and kind. I hope she completes her goal of being in the medical field. The next day I went to use the gym and Jamaal greeted me with a fresh bottle of water since I forgot mine. I also happened to hear a conversation he was having with another coworker about the importance of having a great customer experience for the guest by making sure that coffee creamer never goes empty. It's the small things to me that make a big difference. I hope both off these employees are recognized for their dedication and ability to make a guest feel important. The only thing I do wish is that this place would have a drink bar for those long days and perhaps a cable pulley machine in the gym. Otherwise a very pleasant experience. Thanks.

Rooms were very clean and spacious. Free breakfast and the little brown bag of snacks is always a plus. The front desk was very friendly. Location is great for restaurants and the mall across the street. Would easily recommend.

Nice Hampton Inn, as are all the others we've stayed at. Nice room and hot breakfast the next morning. Convenient location.

The workers have been very polite and welcoming. The room met my expectations and I have not had any problems with loud neighbors.

It's nice, the rooms are clean and they have an indoor pool. The room has a mildew smell that won't seem to go away with air freshner. It's also close to nearby stores and restaurants. I would've done 5 stars but the smell is bothersome.

Every worker, from the cleaning staff to front desk, were personable professional and friendly. This was by a wide margin my favorite hotel stay.

Mini fridge didn't work and I had daily issues with the TV working. However, the bed was very comfortable. If your looking for a 1 night stay, this would fit the bill.

Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff was very professional and helpful, complementary breakfast was decent and the front desk provided bottled water and snacks upon request.

The lobby was well kept and cozy. Staff was fantastic and helped with what I needed.

Checked in and the "manager" at the front desk Kolleen had a crappy attitude the ENTIRE time. Never asked for our ID's. Extremely cold and no sort of "welcome " or "how can I help you". We had to FORCE her to check us in and help us because we apparently were an inconvenience to whatever she had going on. Icing on the cake: when we stood there for 5 minutes waiting for her to finish checking us in and she tells us "do you need something? (Rude attitude) ". Me: "we are just waiting for you to complete the check in". Her: "um you can leave now I finished already ". I truly believe she's racist (I am white and so is my coworker). We checked out this morning and we're treated like garbage and not one word spoken to us literally handed a slip and that was it. Yet, the man behind us was greeted with respect and friendly attitude. Floored.

Great location, Been attending weekly training event for a new business expanding into the area and they treat us great each week… Should definitely stop and check them out!

When my family walked in, my 3 year old daughter was having a bit of a meltdown. The gentleman at the front desk, Omar, rushed over and gave my daughter a treat & talked with her & calmed her down. He even went so far as to tie her shoes. He was so polite to us & so sweet to my daughter!

Convenient location with a lot of amenities nearby. Room was comfortable and quiet. Complimentary breakfast was decent. Staff were friendly and polite. Did not use the pool or fitness center. Would stay at this hotel again.

Nice, clean place. Convenient to several different places to eat. Had an issue with the TV not showing a picture and the gentleman from the front desk was up in just a few minutes to investigate and solve the problem.

Warning : this Hampton Inn was very clean and comfortable but was overpriced. I paid $132 with a AAA discount and after state tax and occupancy tax the total came to 149.61. When my credit card was charged they charged $171 and change. I immediately called this hotel and ask why I was charged $21 more than my bill stated and was told that they always do that and then credit the card a couple days later. Really. So those of you who feel the need to stay at a Hampton Inn consider yourself WARNED. I was in this hotel a total of 8 hours,! 1:45 to about 8am.
