Stayed for 4 days. The main draw seems to be that it is a pet friendly facility. Just about everyone that I saw had their pet with them. The building is older but the rooms are nice. However our room had not been vacuumed when we arrived. It was clean otherwise. My biggest complaints were that the water pressure in the showers was weak, and that I was never able to connect to the free Wi-Fi the entire duration of my stay. I would only stay here again if I needed to have my pet with me, otherwise I would go someplace else.

Very Dirty room, actually, unbelievable. Does housekeeping even do any work? There is much more work that goes into preparing a room than just changing sheets and replacing towels. Sheets were actually stained and the room smelled like puke. The service at the front desk had an attitude problem.

I was at the La Quinta on Midlo recently visiting a friend. It's in a decent location and not far from the mall. Their room was pretty nice! And it was a hot day but the A/C in the room kept us VERY cool! Their spare roll-away bed wasn't very comfy though. All said, I believe that they got their money's worth for their room.

Good location, decent rooms. Not the most clean or well maintained hotel but they have a good pet policy.

Terrible night's sleep + run-down + VERY rude manager (Greg Havenir) who doesn’t seem to care about guests. It’s a ridiculously loud and uncomfortable hotel. Your sleep will be garbage, if you get any. At 7am, heavy pounding commenced on the roof (they were doing demolition). I asked the manager Greg if he thought it was appropriate to do heavy demo work (sounded like jackhammers in the adjacent room… listen to the attached video) at 7am. The manager, Greg Havenir, said he wouldn’t do anything to stop them or ask them to be quiet or ask them to do the heavy demolition on the roof later in the day maybe… because “they have to do the work. ” “Yea, Greg, but I’m a paying guest… don’t I have to sleep? ” “I’m not going to stop them. ” The dude (Greg) was just flat out rude. Guests don’t count for much in his mind. The building is also shoddy and in bad repair… chips everywhere, scuffed paint, huge chunks of wallpaper missing. Avoid!

Not much different than a Motel. The bed was comfortable but had a small bathroom the sink is in the same room where you sleep cheap plastic like curtains the temperature is a window unit a tiny TV with a taped up remote. A noticeable Gap in door for a lot of sound to come through, when we came to check in the door was already open not much of a scenic view unless you really like Sears not many amenities no pool hear dogs barking not much different than the Motel 6. What we tried to check out there was nobody available waited around 5 minutes for phones ringing off the hook found the only employee outside screaming arguing on the phone.

Good location, easy check in. Rooms were clean. Breakfast area was clean and provided a good breakfast.

Highly not recommended. Made a reservation, got the keys and they gave me room someone was already in. Very Scary! Secondly, they charged me additional charges almost equivalent to what I paid during my reservation. Wasn't explained initially. The women who cleaned the room very rude! I told management about my experience. He asked me if I wanted to leave. Unapologetic and no sense of customer service whatsoever. Will never stay again. The pros nice location and has continental breakfast, but if you like good customer service forget about it.

My family stayed at this La Quinta for 3 nights for a soccer tournament. Our room was clean & ready when we arrived. The next day, we did not have our room cleaned until we left for dinner after 5:00 PM, probably because every time we went outside, the employees were outside smoking & checking their cellphones! The breakfast had a lot to be desired, especially running out of coffee in the pots & running out of milk for the entire breakfast operation on Easter Sunday morning! Others in our group were booked in wrong rooms (including parents & teenage son having to stay in SAME bed first night), another family moving due to dirty room & yet another family moving due to blood stains found in their room! There was only 1 person checking in guests when they knew the hotel was booked to capacity & there was a 3 night minimum, people were waiting for about 30 minutes to check in! The Wi-Fi didn't work that great either, my cellphone hotspot worked better. The snack purchasing area next to the main office was half empty & never restocked. When we left, checkout was as 12:00. At 10:00, housekeeping was already knocking on the door. Buttons were broke inside the elevators also (which I'm sure is a safety code violation). If I had a choice, I will not be staying there again!

No shampoo or conditioner, toliet tissue holder broken. Very nice front staff.

When I went to stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites in Midlothian Virgina, I found a number of bad things there. There was green mold under the bathroom light. There was yellow mold in the shower. I was sleeping on stained sheets. There weren't even any ceiling lights! All I had was two lamps. The worst part of La Quinta was that there was no Wi-Fi. Usually hotels have Wi-Fi, and it works. But this one didn't work. I had to go a whole weekend without Wi-Fi. I tried to call the front desk and see if they can help, but they didn't. The things they said to do didn't work. The only good thing about this hotel is the breakfast. If you are looking for a hotel in Midlothian, don't stay at La Quinta.

When we first checked in, we were given the wrong type of room. When I questioned the front desk, he suggested following up with the manager the next day, because he didn't have anything else available. The next day, I spoke with Tammy the front desk supervisor. At first she was not sure if there was anything that she could do, but after some brainstorming, she found a fantastic solution for us. In addition to providing us with a solution, she also gave us a late check out time that would allow my son to come back to the hotel after his morning soccer game and get cleaned up before our 4 hour drive home. Additionally, the other staff we interacted with was very friendly and the free breakfast was pretty yummy. I'm not sure who reads these, but please be sure to recognize Tammy for going above and beyond in her role at this hotel.

Room is big and nicely decorated although a bit old. Don't like the bathroom set up. Sink is outside the bathroom which is nice but there isn't any counter space for personal items and lighting is dark. But worse of all there isn't a single trash can in the room. Not even the bathroom. Ask for one from front desk but never got one.

I have stayed there on numerous occasions in the past… The workers are nice and caring… As for the manager/ owner maybe… He was disrespectful. We stayed for pool access and I called before hand to ask if the pool was available for use on the days we were staying… The same manager told us yes… So I went ahead and paid for my reservation… We checked in… The kids shortly after arriving went to the pool to get in… Only to find that the pool was dirty and had not been services In a long time… The manager never once apologized or offered a solution or a discount…

I attempted to find out information about the review dealing with bed bugs and the individual told me that she has only been there for 2 months. She also could not respond to basic questions. We really want to stay at this hotel; however, we would appreciate having our concerns addressed before we check in. Also we asked about requesting a room on the second or third floor but again the response was not interesting in accommodating our interests. No one else was on staff that could answer my interests.

•The hotel is very low on staff, •When I needed help no one was around. The phone continued to ring and the employees were lounging around the lobby. •The employes weren’t in professional uniform. The first front desk employee that I first noticed when I walked in had a satin sleeping scarf on her head •My room wasn’t properly cleaned, however “some days” it was •The manager on duty isn’t very pleasant •However the Location is fantastic! Food and entertainment surrounding the hotel. Overall not satisfied with my stay. I most likely won’t be coming back.

The hotel is nicely appointed, and clean. The staff are very friendly. The hotel is across the parking lot from a shopping mall, but it isn't overly trafficked so it is easy to get in and out. The breakfast is ok. I only ate it once while there. Egg patties, sausage patties and bacon. There were a few plain yogurts, and the waffle maker. Nothing to dress the eggs with except hot sauce. Overall the hotel seems very quiet. There is no pool or hot tub which is disappointing. But we will definitely stay here again.

This is honestly the worst hotel I've stayed in. The bed I'm sleeping on is the most uncomfortable bed ever. I'm in a king size bed and still can't get comfortable, mind you, it's only me in the bed. There is literally a dent in the mattress, I'm assuming it's that old? There is black mold around the tub and the AC is anything but quiet. It kept me up all night. It makes this annoying rattling sound when it turns in. The showerhead is also disgusting. I will attach pictures. Hope this helps.

I left my suitcase there with valuables in and when I went back to pick it up my valuables were gone they did not call the cops or try to find out who took them. They were very rude to me and they kept saying no one opened your suitcase. They have a thief working there so they let their employees steal and they just don't care. I would not recommend staying there because if something goes missing you are not getting it back and they just don't care.

The staff was friendly and relaxed, so so were the animals. Everything was very clean and my cat felt right at home. Although it's a bit off Route 95, I would definitely recommend this place for those looking for a pet friendly hotel.

Great location right by the mall. Great shopping and restaurants. Rooms were very comfortable and clean.

Good value for price. Better than other big name brands in many respects. We have been top tier members in one of the top hotel reward programs and we stayed in those hotels many times in various places. This hotel definitely is comparable or even better than those experiences in many aspects. They have upgraded their rooms in a lot of areas. Still some things like the elevators and beds have to be upgraded. Breakfast is good. Satisfied with the stay.

I checked their website, they had 3 rooms available. I needed two, but the lady at the front desk they only had one. I purchased that one room for three people. Then we decided to call and see if they had another room available, they said they did. So why lie. I went back downstairs, confronting them, getting the second room. I did not seem as if the rooms were cleaned. There were stains all over the comforter, sheets, and pillow cases. I guess it was better than sleeping in my car.

Super clean. Easy check in. Great breakfast. Staff is very helpful. Close to shopping. Pet stay for free.

Very dirty room! Stayed on the 4th floor. Mouse/ant/roach trap next to bed! Old food in refrigerator, dirty towel in bathroom, hair & mold in sink, gray film on bathtub. Even after complaining, it wasn't cleaned up. Ugh. Gross and disgusting.

Very nice hotel for the price. Breakfast is a little weak. Convenient location.

When we first arrived they had put us on the pet floor and there was dog food on the floor, urine on the bathroom door, and a strong odor. Front desk quickly switched us to a non pet floor and brought new keys to us. The new room was wonderful. Breakfast is breads and cereals with a rotating hot bar comparable to most free hotel breakfasts. Overall a great stay!

We travel frequently and having two dogs we tend to stay at La Quinta. The majority of the properties that we stay at are great, but once in a while we come across a truly terrible property and unfortunately this property is one of them. The front desk staff are warm and welcoming, but the accommodation is truly disgusting. We entered the room to find it dirty with floor and fabric stains (gross, but for one night we were willing to deal). After a few hours, we decided to get ready for bed, so we pulled the bedding back to discover the scene in the picture. Truly disgusting! The lady at the front desk was disgusted and couldn't apologize enough and immediately moved us to another room, but there is absolutely no way I will stay here again. Not sure how this hotel received any certificate of excellence; it's trashy, with bad Wi-Fi.

Check in was a breeze ladies in the front desk were super nice and the room is also great the hotel is right next to the mall so that's a huge plus.

Stayed here every year on our way to Florida and WILL NEVER STAY AGAIN. Not only has quality diminished (food, room, service), but was charged $100 on my credit card (WITHOUT BEING INFORMED) for "3rd party transaction, " i. E. Booking by service for free room from chase visa points. When I called I was told that this is a "change" in company policy and that if no damage was done to the room (which had cigarette butts on the floor and a cigarette burn on the couch), the $100 would be deducted in "1-14 days. " NEVER EVER AGAIN! Such lack of respect for customer…

This place is horrible, the absoloute worst! I have stayed exclusively at laquinta hotels the last 2 years and never had any issues but my awful experience from this hotel will be my LAST time staying at this hotel chain! The "manager" Greg Havenor is a rude, lying, sorry excuse for a manager and does his best to ruin your stay. He is the reason I will not be staying at laquinta hotels anymore and am in the process of having him removed! Other than that the Wi-Fi didnt work, the room was filthy with dust and previous guests belongings/trash left behind, the employees were outside smoking most of the time so it was very difficult to get service in a timely manner. Also they allow pets (which is why we loved staying there in the past) but we were the only guests cleaning up after our pets, all of the grassy areas were filled with dog feces old and new and that is how diseases are spread! On top of that employees tried entering our room 3 times while the do not disturb sign was hanging from the door, once at midnight they successfully opened the door letting our 4lb dog out without our knowledge while we were sleeping and KEPT OUR DOG FOR 7 HOURS! Only returning her when their shift ended and they were "done playing with her". Bottom line is the hotel is dirty and the staff is sorry, rude, disrespectful, lazy and honestly trashy! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!

Worst la quinta ive ever visited. Wrong room. Beds are terrible: tiny and hard, not big enough for two people although the room I booked was supposed to accommodate up to five people. Front desk extremely rude and unprofessional unapologetic unwilling to rectify. I will never stay here again.

It was terrible. We had trouble checking in an they gave us the wrong room. The water pressure wasn't so good an the room was covered with dog hair. I sat up all night in one spot itching an sneezing because they didn't have any more rooms. Me an my wife had a horrible night we will never stay there again.

I've stayed in this particular location before, not a problem. The hotel was nice and clean. However I do have a issue with the authorization of a deposit on my card for over $100 after my room was prepaid through Priceline… so beware even if you use a third party website to book the hotel they still charge your card for a deposit.

Great location, a lot of restaurants nearby. Clean rooms friendly staff.

I loved the comfortable bed and the vibe of the room.

Comfy beds and great staff. Close to everything and right in the parking lot of Cheaterfield Town Center. However, you can hear everything that is said out in the hall of your hotel room.

You hear all the traffic on Huegenot. Very loud. Lack of sleep. Plus the tables in the breakfast area are usually dirty.

Great stay, Lauren at the front desk was very helpful. Had available rooms when no one else did after a weary drive. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable.

Not the cleanest of hotels. Seemed to have an odor in areas such as elevator, hallways. Our room was not refreshed, cleaned on one of the days we were there… Explanation was they were 'busy'! No discount was given for our trouble with that issue. No indoor pool. Breakfast is TOO EARLY 6-9 AM… so much for sleeping in! We'll avoid this hotel in future visits for lacrosse tournaments for sure!

Front desk staff was not only short, but rude when asking about military rates. Apalled by the audacity that I would dare to ask if they did military discounted rate. Poor customer service towards our service men and women.
