We had a great stay at the Farmhouse. The staff was so kind and even left our daughter (whose birthday we were celebrating), a delicious whoopie pie and card. We were, unfortunately, able to hear the people in the next room and their kids loud and clear while trying to go to bed, but otherwise great accommodations and super cozy beds. Beautiful grounds, walking trail, animals, playgrounds etc. Coffee at the front desk was good, the store was wonderful (seriously, I wanted to buy a whole wardrobe there! ), and the breakfast was great. Great value and you can tell everyone there loves their job and cares for the patrons. We will definitely stay again and recommend to friends when they visit the area!

We had a wonderful time here and love our accommodations at the carriage house… the breakfast smorgasbord was wonderful and lots of options for your dining experience.

We were there on August 3rd 2022 for breakfast and my husband found three spiders on his plate meal plate the food was not that good would not recommend this restaurant whatsoever.

Such a cute getaway. They have recently renovated some of the rooms with the barn doors to close off the bathroom and it is just adorable. Watching the geese and horse and buggies is so relaxing and you can walk to the restaurant and Sight and Sound for the show. A nice little walking path around the grounds also. Such a relaxing getaway.

Food was good. Our waitress was friendly and kept our drinks full and removed our dirty plates. The fried chicken was delicious as was a lot of the other food. Hint: scoop from the bottom as the food is hotter. The Shoo Fly pie and cherry pie were so good! We got there right when lunch started so it was a less crowded but by the time we left it was getting pretty full so go early.

The service was great. The price is ridiculous for the quality of food. Last time we ate there it was affordable for the quality, which is subpar. But for $27 per adult and not even including drinks and not high quality food, it was very disappointing. Never again.

The food was incredible! The roast beef could be cut with a fork. The salad bar had such fresh items to chose from. After lunch, we shopped in your great store for about an hour and went back to our hotel in a happy food coma. We would definitely go back AND recommend the restaurant and store 100%.

Great quality food. A little pricey for the grand buffet but worth it if you go for your birthday. Then your dinner or lunch/ breakfast is free with a friend paying.

I’ve stayed here twice. Staff is always very professional and accommodating, go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast buffet, is to die for. I’d highly recommend it and plan on going back. Right next door to the sight and sound theater also!

Not a good place to stay if you have bad knees! The chairs and toilet are soooo low and the rooms have thin carpeting over cement flooring without any padding! Horrible! Tru by Hilton is much better and they have hardwood floors!

I came in September and had the best time… love the hotel and the restaurant… the two guys at the front desk were awesome, we traveled all day and the took our bags up to the room. Couldn’t ask for a nice relaxing time, sat outside in the chairs and drink wine from a local winery… would love to come back! The restaurant staff was awesome had breakfast and dinner there amazing buffet… clean rooms, just can’t say enough, such a great place to stay!

We loved the food! Our waitress was very nice. The grandchildren had fun looking at the animals and playing on the playground.

Amazing food on the smorgasbord! That’s all we did and we were so happy with how delicious everything was and how great our waitress was. We come from Cape May so it’s definitely worth a day trip!

My (large) family’s favorite place. They accommodate our large parties, always have a great selection of delicious food, and a family friendly atmosphere. I love the set up of the buffet, everything covered and spaced to avoid long lines. I have tried the a la carte menu a couple of times, but the buffet is a great deal. The kids love the dessert bar, the gift shop and the play area on the grounds. We are frequent visitors.

Love this place. Great for the family or a date night with the wife. Free on your Birthday is also a bonus. Also have a great selection of flowers and local produce in season.

Hershey Farms restaurant is a wonderful place to eat! The staff is very courteous and friendly and the food is so delicious! The food at the buffet is some of the best tasting food in Lancaster County! Really enjoy it each time we go!

A cute place for a short family getaway. The place really caters to young kids, with farm animals galore and lots of space to explore. The playground could be bigger, so hopefully they will expand it in the near future. The bathroom in our unit was a bit outdated, but otherwise the room was clean. The breakfast was awesome, and Amos makes for really fun photo ops.

Stopped in for lunch. They have an all you can eat buffet for $16.99 (I think) and my son (6 years old) was free with a paying adult. The food isn't fine dining but it's delicious comfort food; fried chicken, green bean casserole, assorted soups, salad bar and lots more. Service was fantastic as well. I highly recommend grabbing a meal here if you're in the area!

They have seriously upgraded the quality of their smorgasbord. The food is delicious! We went on a Saturday night and had prime rib, some of the most tender and juicy prime rib I've ever had. The cookies were also far superior to most cookies at buffets. Fish, fried chicken, vegetables, chili — all excellent! I do think the price is too high, especially since it doesn't include drinks.

Best place ever! We go to Hershey Farm for more than 15 years! Very good food, you can eat as much as you want. Clean place, friendly staff. They also have the hotel and the store with so many options of souvenirs, goodies, clothes, etc. They have a beautiful outdoor area to walk and take pictures.

The Inn/Farm/Restaurant is by far the best of the best. We stay there sometimes 3 times a year and never had a negative issue about the Staff/Room//Restaurant in all the 20 plus years we have stayed at the inn.
The staff and myself are on a first name basis and are always are there to help if we need anything for the room, directions etc.
We want to thank Ryan, Derrett, Christine, Richard and especially my Buddy Deb. Thanks for the fluffy towels and extra coffee and creamers… She is an excellent Housekeeper and our room was always spotless.

Restaurant: The breakfast buffet was mediocre at best. The quality of the food reminded me of my old college dining hall to be honest. Food was hot at least! Service was friendly, but sparse. Atmosphere was cozy for most of the seating but they put us in the back by the gift shop which was not very nice. Not worth the price point for me.

The Hershey Farm Inn and Restaurant provided some unique experiences as well as some strange events. There are some pros and cons about staying at this inn. PROS: *The inn sits on a 23-acre campus with gift shops, flower shops, restaurants and wooded areas. * Enjoy dining at the Hershey Farm Restaurant with some country-cooking for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is open to the public and reservations are recommended during busy times. The full smorgasbord offers a wide selection of food; hot, cold, pastries, fruits and items grilled to order. The complimentary breakfast for staying at the inn was excellent. A wide selection of breakfast foods were offered including a variety of meats, pastries, pancakes/waffles, fruits, cereals (Hot & Cold) and even ice cream and whoopee pies. For lunch and dinner, you can order particular food items or choose the smorgasbord. There is also a Subway Restaurant on site across the parking lot. *Location to Sight & Sound Theater. Park and walk the trail to avoid the traffic congestion. This hotel offers discount rates to Sight and Sound Theater when you book a room. *Outdoor swimming pools for adults and kids. The Kiddie Pool ranged from 9 inches to 15 inches in depth. The other pool reached a maximum depth of 5 ft. 6 in. Guest towels are provided at the pool with a restroom near the pool and one behind the pool. *The petting zoo consisted of 4 goats near the restaurant, carriage house and farm house.

Had a great time. It’s nothing over the top fancy. But it is completely perfect for the area it is in. Would not change a thing. The staff was great and the breakfast was amazing. Would recommend to anyone traveling in the area.

My parents love this place, so when we visit they always choose here. The staff is always friendly and they now know them by face. The food is always hot, full and ready for guest. The outside scenery is very country-like so it fits the surrounding views. :) My daughters enjoy the passing time to see the animals and the store is small spaced’ but cute and convenient.

We met my niece, her family and her mother (my ex-sister-in-law) for supper. I don't know how many years its been, but I can tell you I'm extremely happy we planned to meet here. The food was great, everything was clean, the staff was wonderful. There were things for little ones outside to occupy them and shopping for the teens inside. We will be coming back! Thank you for the perfect day.

Its okay for the price you pay. I really enjoyed the staff. They we're welcoming and served with the utmost satisfaction and care. The food is varied and caters to the southern fare you might be used to such as candied sweet potato and chicken nuggets and Pollock. Overall highly sanitary eatery and has a cool little shop. The cards are beautiful I would go back just for the plant shop and the cards.

Review is for restaurant only: All the servers there are friendly and get to know you. They stay on top of what you need. Come to think of it everyone there serves you with a smile and a sense of urgency. I am local, And they have the best locals loyalty program by far. The food is delicious and there are plenty of choices. BEST FRESHLY BAKED SOFT PRETZELS EVER! Not the biggest Smorgasbord in town but certainly the best. The only drawback is those crazy lids on the dishes on the smorgasbord. They never seem to shut right! This is the only reason it's not 5 stars but it is enough of a reason to get knocked the whole star because everyone at the smorgasbord is left feeling awkward and trying to hold the lid shut and holding up the line. Probably some crazy food regulation, sort of like the sneeze guards that all but dislocate your shoulder trying to reach the food unless your 4 foot nuthin.

From start to finish everything was top notch. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. The room was a great combination of rustic with modern amenities. The breakfast buffet that was included was delicious! And the location is gorgeous, close to everything you want to see or do, but just far enough away to be relaxing.

Yesterday I went to see "Jesus" and it was life changing! If I could give it 10 stars I would want to give it 12. It's beyond anything I've seen. It makes you feel like you're in a movie but better because they are real people and animals and sets! The production quality is unbeatable and after every show they ask if anyone needs prayer. The woman who prayed for me was so filled with the Holy Spirit and it seems that every employee is so willing to serve and loves everyone who comes in. God bless this ministry may it grow 100x. I absolutely have to see this show again this year. (Tip: this show is for everyone especially bring people who haven't accepted Christ or are on the fence)

Ate here on Sat. 4/21 after seeing a production at Sight & Sound theatre with my daughter. Was happy that it was just down the road from the theatre so I didn't have to drive further to get something to eat before heading back to NY. I ordered a cheeseburger and the buffet deal for my daughter. The adult buffet deal (which varies depending on the day of the week) was about $28 and I knew I wouldn't eat that much food. I was still able to sample some of the buffet choices as I helped my daughter select what she wanted. There was a decent amount of options to choose from at the buffet. Their offerings were mainly comfort foods, but there was also a cold salad bar, and an area for pizza. My daughter especially loved the dessert station that had a chocolate fountain. There was an assortment of cakes, parfaits, whoopie pies, fruit pies, fruit cups, etc. Our waitress was a pleasant woman who so kindly offered me complimentary dessert because my order was taking awhile since it was placed behind a larger one. When my burger arrived, it was cooked well as I requested and was delicious as were the fries. The waitress even tried to find out if I might be eligible for a discount off my meal (sadly I wasn't), but it was nice that she asked. We both left with satisfied bellies.

This was my first visit to the dinner buffet. It was excellent! The service was friendly, efficient and helpful. The food was very good. This will be a place we come to on our yearly visit to the Lancaster region. We have always gone to Miller’s buffet… This is far superior to Miller’s! Couldn’t be happier with our visit!

Nice atmosphere. Rooms were cozy and comfortable. Clean. Restaurant was a bit disappointing. Fried chicken was over cooked and salty. Sweet-n-sour meatballs were not good. Over all the meal was good. Dessert was tasty. Breakfast buffet was excellent. All staff were friendly and accommodating…

We always enjoy it here. Comfortable rooms, always clean, always friendly staff. It's a little pricier than some places, but for us, it's worth it to be a bit off the beaten path, and have the convenience of the gift shop and restaurant on-site. If you get the breakfast buffet as part of your package, it's best to get there early. Lots of food, with some tasty options; baked oatmeal is a pleasant surprise (add a touch of cinnamon and maple syrup! ) Overall, a nice, clean, pleasant place to stay, convenient to everything.

Beautiful place and excellent customer service.

You can not eat cheaper espically on a Sunday when kids eat free. I am generally not a fan of all you can eat places. This is a notes exception. Good freah high quality foods. Steak including tender loin is an option. They have 5 or 6 types of butter alone to choose from. If you want some good Lancaster county hospitality this is a place you can't miss.

Kids under 4 are free, kids eat free for breakfast and lunch (per adult buffet), special discount for Lancaster residents. Food is delicious and great deal! Cute stuff in gift shop also and pricing pretty good.

This place is really amazing. The food here is excellent. It's a lot better than Shady Maple and also a whole lot cheaper. I can't believe I've lived in Lancaster my whole life and I did not know about this place. The desserts here are out of this world and honestly I would go just to eat desserts. But they have a Maid to Order option which a lot of places do but they are usually not that great. But it is really good here. I highly recommend going to this restaurant.

Really can't go wrong here. Yes it's $25 but honestly for the quality of good and service… Plus all you can eat. Just amazing.

Went here before the show at sight and sound theater. Nice and clean. Plenty of food options — american comfort food and amish specialties — and all you can eat too! The staff was very friendly and efficient. After the meal pay a visit to the gift shop and pick up some Amish treasures.

This is our favorite place in Lancaster for breakfast. We think it offers a wide choice with good quality. The coffee is pretty weak but otherwise everything offer for breakfast is very enjoyable. Everyone that works there is nice and if you are a horror night guest you get breakfast for free.

Of all the buffets I’ve been to in Lancaster, this was my favorite. I like the atmosphere and the food was excellent. The service was excellent and it had that really cozy feel. If you’ve never been I would highly recommend going at least once. I imagine I will be going back next time I’m in the area. Love it!

Arrived on 12/26/17 for a one-night stay. We were signed in efficiently by a pleasant fella who offered to help us choose a restaurant. The supporting staff (only saw one) was somewhat pleasant but she balked at giving us a second blanket, saying "there's already ONE in there". There are four of us in two queen beds. We noticed too late that the bathroom wasn't cleaned… dirt ring in the tub, feces on the front of the toilet, dirty floor. The bed seems clean and tidy. No problem getting add'l soap and towels, had to ask for shower caps. Beware staying here off-season. And check your room/bathroom for cleanliness. I'm pretty appalled and will not be back.

It’s unfortunate I need to give this place a less than stellar review because we loved it about 10 years ago which was the last time we visited Amish Country. We stayed in the carriage house. While the rooms are updated with a weird fancy backboard on the bed and flat screen tvs, the maintenance has fallen by the wayside. The grout around the toilets and shower are dirty. The place has an overall grimy feel and the cleaning crew does a very poor job. My wife even commented “when was the last time this place was vacuumed? ” I went for a walk on their walking trail. The beautiful bridge they have drew my attention. I actually slipped on the very slippery wood and very badly hurt my ankle. Lucky for them I’m not litigious because it’s a lawsuit waiting to happen. I can still barely walk. On the upside the breakfast is good. I don’t really recommend this place and we will be trying another place next time.

My daughter, granddaughter and I stayed at the carriage house for 2 nights. For the most part we enjoyed staying there for being close to Sight and Sound, we enjoyed the buffet breakfast and looking around their shop and feeding the animals. BUT! Our room had a lot to be desired. There was no iron or ironing board, there were only two towels and washcloths left in the room each day even though we paid for 3 people to stay there. We only got one tiny cake of soap at the sink and one at the bathtub for 3 people and one tiny bottle of shampoo. There was a Keurig coffee maker in the room but only one regular k cup and one decaf k cup was left the first day and none for the second day. There was only one sink bowl and mirror for 3 ladies to use while trying to get ready to go out. No mirrors in the bedroom and the lighting in the bedroom was very dim. We had a hard time getting the door to our room open each time we got back from an outing. My granddaughter had to throw herself against the door 3-4 times before it would open and then she would go flying in. Oh, and about 10 minutes after we got there my granddaughter said she smelled smoke and then she said oh my gosh the bathroom ceiling is smoking. Thinking she was turning the light on she mistakenly turned the bathroom heater on, the door was open and was directly under that lamp and the lamp was burning the top of the door. So, if you stay there be careful with that.

Great location close to Sight and Sounds. We had booked what we thought would be a quaint and enjoyable lodging choice in the Amish Farm House. Big mistake — the stairs to the upstairs room were dark and narrow (as was the hallway). There is no way the steps were to code. The room was very marginal. They were kind enough to switch rooms to the lodge. Definitely not 3-star (maybe 2). Great food — excellent restaurant and shop. Needs upgrade — major renovation. Do not book the Amish Farmhouse.

LOVE this place. Will always be a family favorite. It's become our family's yearly end of summer vacay destination spot. Ryan and Garrett are fantastic. They will move mountains, if they can, to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms have been renovated and look amazing. The restaurant is always fantastic with a super friendly wait staff. I love the addition of the subway restaurant on the property. It's the nicest subway I've ever seen. Wtg Hershey Farm! See you soon!

Four of us went here before our sight and sound show. One of our meals (fried chicken) was burned. It was incredible. We had it taken off the bill. The medium rare burger was well done, but still tasty. Service was just okay. It didn't feel friendly or rude. I wouldn't go here again. Feels like they have a captive audience and mediocre food. That said none of us had the buffet which seems to be the draw. Maybe they have that down…

The staff here is amazing, they were so helpful. They delivered your drinks to you at the table and constantly walked around with jugs. They told you where all various food groups were located before you got there. They called up one table at a time to the buffet so we weren't trampled. They were all smiling and very attentive. WOW! Do I need to say more. Thanks staff.

Not much difference here then golden corral food chain chocolate fountain and all. Food was cold and over cooked. No corn bread? really? Came almost 100 miles for Amish style cooking. Could have made better myself. very disappointing. Was great 5 years ago last time I was here. However, Staff was nice and professional.

I loved this place. As a frequent business traveler and long time visitor to the area. This place was perfect for my family. I am 38 and have been visiting the area since I was five. We used to stay at the Historic Strasburg In but sadly Clarion is more interested in dividing the property for profit than restoring the amazing property. We left The Hershey inn today with zero regrets and beyond thrilled with everything. Okay, not everything, the bathrooms are comically small, it's a closet with tub, my poor wife busted her to on the door because you have contort in annoying ways to exit the bathroom. Other than that, awesome and see you next year. Front Desk staff was great!

Great place. Awesome free breakfast in restaurant. Smorgasbord style. Property and staff were wonderful. Rooms nice. We had a balcony king so nice overlooking pool. Beds are horrible. I would stay here again and again if they up grade the beds. My husband and I both had sore backs in the am. Otherwise this place is awesome.

The food is fairly good. The wait is quite long if you come during the dining hours or prime time. There is a store right near the entrance so that is quite genius of them. Other than that, Hershey Farm is a nice stop with a mini greenhouse where you can buy plants to goats outside.

We stayed at the Hershey Farm Inn from 7/5/16 — 7/9/16. The room was ok. It had 2 queen beds and an outside porch area overlooking the pool. The bathroom was small but that is too be expected for a hotel. My main complaint with the room was the bugs. Not sure what kind they are since I'm no expert but they were all over the place, both alive ones and dead ones. They need to get an exterminator out there ASAP. We went with another family and my sister in law and their rooms were infested as well. The second day of our stay, we had our room cleaned by housekeeping. My wife had some expensive makeup STOLEN out of her makeup bag. We noticed the following morning when my wife went to get her makeup after showering. I went to the front desk at approximately 7:30am and was told that they did not think she would have done it because they never had any issues in the past and was a long time employee. I was told to send an email of what was stolen and they would let the housekeeping supervisor know when they got in at 9am. I did as requested and went on with my day. Around 3pm I had not been contacted so I sent a follow up email and was contacted within the hour. Maybe they were hoping I would forget. I was told that the housekeeper denied it but was willing to pay for what was stolen if it didn't turn up be checkout. Seems odd because if someone accused me of stealing something, I wouldn't offer to replace it unless I was guilty.

I have stayed here 8 times thru the years we come to the Sight and Sound Theater. We have stayed in the main inn and in the other buildings. The only reason we like the main in is because it has the pool right next to is for easy access. Not to say that the other buildings are far it is just more convenient. The place is clean, the staff is great, friendly. The Farm is great for a walk and to see animals that you can feed. The birds that fly in all during the day to the small pond is very nice. The restaurant is great also. The breakfast is great. It has a small shop and baked goods you can buy.

I liked the entire experience from the walking park and pond with lots of geese and ducks, the gardens, the shops, and the food breakfast and dinner was great! They had a comedy show with a ventriloquist giving history of the area and correct pronunciation which he wasn't speaking to me haha and I'm the only southerner in the room! Lol. It was a great place.

Very disappointed in the Inn. Booked a last minute trip to celebrate our 1 year anniversary on their website and called twice to confirm the reservation and special occasion basket. Got to the front desk after a long drive to Lancaster area and was told we have to stay in the farmhouse in a not so nice and dirty room with stained linens and dead bugs. Not to mention it was more expensive than the original room I booked. I was never told they didnt have any other rooms available when I called twice before driving almost 3 hrs and the basket I ordered was a huge disappointment instead of a wonderful surprise for an anniversary gift. Just a huge disappointment in what could have been a romantic get away. Breakfast buffet was okay but nothing to get excited over. Sad, sad.

Very fast service and the vallina icecream with sprinkles were the best! there was so many deserts you could pick from.

The food at Hershey farms is great, unfortunately they do have to do better at keeping the place clean. I have been here many times and in recently it seems to be not as well kept. The breakfast is really good, I would like to see a bit more variety, not like shady maple but have something different instead of the same old. I'm still pretty happy with my visit.

Quick service… awesome variety of food… with all types of meats. Sides were fresh and really delicious. Ours was a big group of 10 and the waitress Courtney was really patient and smiling all through. We wrapped up everything in a hour and were back on the road. Very close to the Amish Village and just opposite Ed's Buggy rides.

The smorgasbord has many types of country-style foods to choose from, plus a made-to-order grill for even more entrees. Everything that I had was delicious. Dessert selections are good as well.

Location was convenient to Lancaster and other points of interest for my short weekend trip, the Amish country is beautiful, price was competitive with chain hoteliers, parking was ample, front desk service was very criteria and efficient, room was updated and well maintained. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast appeared to be a cereal and fruit kind of affair with a Belgian waffle maker (went out to a nearby diner, Jennie's, which was excellent). Internet was down for our stay, but cell service was okay. Overall a pleasant experience.

Friendly staff. Rooms updated but seem like they are basically updated cheap motel rooms. People fighting over breakfast in lobby. Very small and no choices for breakfast. Nothing stated in reservation about restaurant being closed. For the money you spend here, go up the road to the clarion inn. Much nicer hotel. I'm not picky at all but this place was a huge huge dissapointment. Won't be staying again. Also someone across the hall smoked weed, told night desk person, nothing done. Smell made its way into hallway and stunk first floor.

I always liked restaurant because food was very good with big selection, which is main reason why I stayed here for first time, when I arrived I found out restaurant is closed January and February which should have been stated when booking room, one of the other guests hit my car in parking lot and of course they said nothing about it, so I asked staff if they have a security camera in very small parking lot for hotel guests, they have cameras everywhere else to make sure none of guests are stealing, but no care in the world to put a camera outside to keep an eye on guests vehicles, the TV has very limited channels and TV kept cutting in and out making it almost impossible to watch, the TV is old HD plasma that needs to be updated, grainy screen, after telling staff about my car that was hit by another one of there guests said he was sorry and nothing he could do and walked away, not that I expected it, but he could have cared enough to look into it, I suggest if your looking to stay in Lancaster to pick one of the many hotels in area and stay away from here.

Very nice staff. Rooms are refurbished but were poorly done, some fixtures and walls are beat up. Breakfast is excellent, beautiful grounds.

I had a wonderful experience. I stayed 2 nights and slept in 2 different rooms — Carriage House and the Inn. Both room were nice. The breakfast buffet that comes with the room is fantastic! Lots of choices and quality of food is sky high! The proximity to the Sight and Sound Theatre is a definite plus! Everyone was very nice and helpful in any way they could. I will go here again and recommend it highly to others!

We only had breakfast there so that's all I can comment on. We are pretty picky when it comes too food. We ate dinner at the Shady Maple and it was terrible. We gave the Shady Maple one star for dinner. This place was what you would expect for a breakfast place very good.

Went there for luch and variety of food available was very limited compared to other buffets in the area, but all they offered was delicious. It all tasted fresh and homemade. The desert was also very good.

We were visiting lancaster PA and we wanted to go somewhere nice to eat (a buffet). We finally decided on going to Hershey farms resturaunt… we were seated and there was very nice service but the food was like going to a cheap buffet or cafeteria … was totally not worth $23 plus a $3 coupon we found on their flyer… we were very disappointed and did get our drink money back wich was only $10… this place is made for tourist on buses that don't know anything about it. I would not go again… hope this helps you all. I wanted to make this review to help people not waste there money and make their PA visit a disaster. We did get a lot of laughs and we will remember this occasion for a life time!

My oldest grandson (Tyler) turned 19 on August 19, 2015 and he picked Hershey Farms as the place he wanted to eat. There were 8 people in our party and we arrived at about 5:15 P. M. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and seated immediately in the rear area with a great view of the farm. Our server was prompt and explained where everything was located and took our drink order. We all had chosen the buffet. Best choice! The food was the best we ever had. From home cooking to special orders to the huge array of deserts to pick from. Everything was fresh, hot food was hot, cold food was cold. This area was kept spic and span clean. Not something you see in a buffet style establishment. Only had one issue… the waffle iron and I did not get along too well! But, the person attending the grill came to my rescue right away and "trained" me! I call him the Grill Master! Please try the grill! Awesome! This restaurant is amazing and the staff are wonderful! Please check out the gift shop and homemade bakery items too. Everyone deserves a round of applause! If you are going to see a show, come here first, get your bellies full and relax. Bring your appetite, not your attitude cause you wont find that here! Oh! by the way? We are locals, this is where you will get "good eats"! Thank you all.

We stayed in the farm house. It feels like the room was not cleaned thoroughly: dirt, oil, dust etc here and there. I warn my 4-year old not to walk on the hardwood floor without shoes. I actually wipe the floor in one wet occasion. The floor was totally #$%#. Faucet pulled tight, not friendly to small kids. Breakfast was not impressive at all, most of the stuff looked like scramble egg, except toast, bagel. Pool water is clean and clear, but paint gets falling. I'll never stay there again, what a silly decision I made.

Just a review on Hershey Farm's employment practices in Strasburg. Just to let everyone know that gets employed temporarily there. You will be hired on a schedule that requires you to be on an on call basis. Although when you call in they're never busy enough for you to come into work. The last straw for my daughter was to show up at her scheduled time to work and then be stalked in the parking lot and asked if she could come back in 45 minutes because they are slow. This would have saved Hershey Farms $4.00 at the most. She was told that it's not that bad for her because she lives close enough. She did the correct thing and told them she will no longer provide them with cheap labor. I am a employer myself and I would be embarrassed as a company to even treat an employee like that. Anyone that patrons this place, even as a tourist should think twice about providing a company of this nature with revenue.

Love browsing the gift shop, awesome deals on nice stuff! Restaurant has awesome food, awesome staff, love the cozy atmosphere.

My fiancée and I have been to the Hershey Farm House many times and we just enjoy the ambience, the friendly staff, superb service, and the myriads of entrée selections with numerous side dishes. The food quality is very good and overall very enjoyable. The only change that needs to be addressed is the rest room cleanliness.
