Very good hotel. Very peaceful place. Good location. Friendly staff. A nice place to relax.

Totally enjoyed our stay. I will definitely stay here again. It was quaint, peaceful and the view was stunning. Reasonably priced Fireside restaurant next door is a wonderful bonus!

The suite we stayed in was beautifully decorated. The only issues we had was the hot tub needed cleaning inside the jets and maintenance work. The room needed some painting done as well. I would take the non, — working fireplace and convert it into a nice electric fireplace for winter months. The breakfast was great, it is a full breakfast with eggs, bacon and sausage. The bed was so comfortable with great pillows and a comfortable mattress. We both slept very well.

We stayed a night at The Clarion and I was glad we picked this hotel. They are in the perfect location and were kind enough to let us check in early. There are some needed updates but for the most part I was very content.

Great breakfast. Adorable room in the Ashbury House. Love the location near The Sight and Sound Theater and Strasberg RR.

if you're looking to vacation IN your room, this isn't the place for you. If you need a decent place to rest your head and going to be on the go. Then this is a great place.

Great spot, nice big rooms and an affordable price. Definately recommend giving them a shot if your in the area.

Great location, comfortable beds, big rooms.

Unexpected gem. Spotlessly clean rooms, a very friendly front desk, very comfortable beds and a great hot shower. It's very quiet tucked away from the main strip in Lancaster and the tavern next door serves great drinks and excellent food. I really can't recommend this lodging enough.

This place is amazing! Definitely worth the stay! We are planning to return next year. The pool opens at 9 am. The breakfast was wonderful. Nice offering for everyone. Very pleasant staff. Nothing to complain of.

Very comfortable, nice and clean. Courteous staff and full breakfast. There's an excellent restaurant located on the premises. They also have a nice outdoor pool. It is located about 5 minutes from Sight and Sound Theater. I will definitely be staying here next time I come out here.

Excellent value for the price. The room was clean and had a microwave and a Fridge. It also had 2 sinks which was very convenient. Decent TV channels and the best was the free breakfast. Had the regular bakery items and scrambled eggs, bacon and fried potatoes and waffles. This will be our go-to hotel in Lancaster. Parking was also convenient.

The room was large. The shower was clean with HOT water… We had a view of the pool although we did not swim. They had a nice room for continental breakfast which was also great.

Friendly Staff in classic style Hotel. Room are large good and the bed was clean and fresh. The shower was not. We stayed in the 1200 building which is a little rough in the hallways and not ADA accesible. As the sign says leave your bags in the car there are several separate buildings that are hard to navigate in the dark. I would stay here again.

My room was filthy! Upon arriving the front desk was notified of how dirty the room was. Housekeeping was sent to the room to take care of the issue. We were not there while they cleaned they room, but when we did get back we found the bathroom was still disgusting. The lighting leaves a lot to be desired and the room is dark. Would not stay here again!

The 1200 building needs to be remodeled. It was dirty and falling apart. Carpet is stained, wallpaper peeling, bathtub and toilet need to be replaced, pen marks on bed, light switches that don't do anything… Also, there was only one bar of soap for our hands and the bathtub. Would be helpful if they provided 2 bars in the room. However, the people were nice, grounds were nice, and I would recommend it anyway.

First room was dirty (bathroom was gross). Second one seems decently clean… but it's a little hard to tell — stuff seems to be too old to look completely clean : (

The first thing we encountered when walking into the lobby was a very noxious chemical smell. Not sure if it was floor varnish, bug spray, or some adhesive but it was awful! Our room was dark and musty. I turned the AC all the way up and it was still damp and uncomfortable all night. The beds were clean but not very comfortable. The bathroom was full of mildew and I refused to shower in there. There was a heat lamp but no bathroom exhaust. Rediculius! There is a nice restaurant attached (The fireside Tavern) that we went to and I would recommend. The free breakfast was ok; standard stuff but they also had a waffle maker! I would not return to this hotel, but if you're looking for cheap and clean this is it. Best part, all of the cleaning and breakfast staff were Indian and so very friendly!

Top insider tip. We paid just under $5 for 3 including breakfast. Great. Amis can be seen everywhere, top restaurant next door. Pool and coffee for free.

We had a room by the building entrance, the door slammed shut all night. Ants in the room and on the bed, it was one a few but once you have one crawling on you you can feel them all night. The cars drivin by sounded like they were in the room. On the other hand beds were comfortable, location was convenient and the price was reasonable. Would choose someplace else and pay a little more next time.

An historic inn, comprised of five buildings set on an acreage of rolling hills, this complex has the potential to become a scenic, attractive facility. Currently it is not. We paid extra for what was advertised as a room with a scenic view of the surrounding country side. The corner room was very large and was on the ground floor. It had three windows on the long wall and one on the short. Out of the first two windows beside the bed, all that could be seen was an 8' high and 12' wide electrical transformer. The next window offered a nice view until trucks and trailers were parked in front of it (from 3 pm until 8 am both days we were there). The remaining end window offered a view of a busy street. The bed was very comfortable but the chesterfield and chair were extremely old, dilapidated and uncomfortable. One of the lamp shades was absolutely filthy. After running the hot water for close to 15 minutes, the water was barely warm, certainly not warm enough for a shower. The bath tub was very old and badly stained. The complimentary breakfast was better than many other facilities we have staid in. Taking the long walk to where it was served sure worked up an appetite. The parking area was a long walk from the room and the entry way to the building was anything but attractive. It was early spring when we were there, but there was very little in the way of attractive garden areas or areas set aside for shrubs, flowers, etc.

Definitely highly recommend. This is a historic building so no elevator but very well renovated and redone. Very clean and comfortable. Absolutely no complaints about my stay this past month. Will be back next month. Breakfast is very good and lots of options.

Breakfast bar was amazing. Eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, waffles, and everything else you normally expect. Rooms were ok, beds were way too soft for my liking. Very cute hotel.

Very dirty. Rooms had bugs in it. The mattress pad had a huge yellow stain (which I assume was pee) and some pink and red stains (looked like juice). The blanket had a hair on it and a lot of red and pink stains. The “white” sheet set was dingy, thin and worn out and had a weird yellowish hue and also had some stains on it. The only bright light was in the bathroom and the rest of them were very dim. The couches, chairs and the room corners all had crumbs on them. The couch bed already had linen on it and was obviously not cleaned because it was dirty, stained and was very wrinkly. Literally the most disgusting place ever.

All issues were correct in a timely manner and to my satisfaction. The issue that was most disturbing was the cleanliness of the room, bugs and my daughter coming home with lice. The fitness center was very nice to include a sauna. The breakfast bar was great, wide selection of items, hot and cold, and convenient hours 7am-10am. Pool is nice.

Our Volleyball teams stayed at this hotel this past weekend while attending a tournament. The front desk staff was very helpful and pleasant. We needed early breakfast times, but had to push to make this happen. In addition, we had issues with dirty rooms, loud plumbing, and one room had broken glass that was never completely cleaned up.

It is very quaint. Old building but well kept and clean. Gazebos. Very nice area and local activities.

Comfortable place to stay, we had our pets with us and the room was clean and accessible to plenty grass. The price was great too.

I gave it one star because the breakfast was very good. The room however is a different story. First when we arrived the room was fridged. It was 27 degrees outside and no one put the heat on. I turned it on at 4:05 pm, went out to dinner and do some exploring. We returned about 7:30 and the room was still cold. My wife went to take a bath in the not so clean bathroom. When she finished it took over an hour to drain the water. We used to stay here when it was the Historic Strasburg Inn. At that time this was an ideal hotel. I would have given 5 stars. Now I will never return again. What a disgrace.

The rooms were very nice, and the property is beautiful. I do feel the smoking areas can be a bit closer to the building since it's winter and extremely cold to walk that far for a square before bed. Otherwise it was a lovely stay.

Have stayed here several times, great value. Rooms are nice, although a bit small if fitting 4 in them, staff is friendly and breakfast is great. All in all, great place to stay in the area.

I was there for one overnight for an event. The room was good for my roommate and I and had a fair amount of space. The beds we're comfy and he breakfast was nice. Nothing crazy but the facilities we're good.

Stayed at the Clarion in Strasburg, PA. The grounds and the bathrooms need help. Otherwise, still a nice place. Breakfast needed to be hotter by it was satisfactory. Would stay there again if they would address these issues.

Such a lovely place! Much bigger than U thought. I had a double room with such comfy four poster beds! Very clean. And very accommodating. It's a definite recommend!

We came to visit attractions in the area with my parents and my brother and his family. There were 17 of us and the hotel staff was very accommodating. The rooms were clean, breakfast was good and our family enjoyed the pool. The room was a great value for the price, will be coming here again.

Very nice and clean hotel. We enjoyed our stay very much. Friendly staff except for the parking situation. There is a tavern next door. Everyone was coming over to the hotel parking lot and parking there leaving no room for the guests staying at the hotel to park. Other than that it is a very nice place to stay.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Off the main roads, but convenient to everything, including Sight & Sound Theater, Hersey's Restaurant, outlets, downtown Strasburg (visit Allegro winery). Staff was wonderful. Full hot breakfast was great. Will definitely stay here again.

Quaint and lovely place. The breakfast was good. Only thing is that it is a little run down. We lost power in our room when I tried to plug in my camera charger. But it was resolved within like 10 minutes. The lady at the reception was sweet and very very cooperative. Live here if you wish to have a home like experience.

This is our 3rd time here and after a issue we experienced the 1st time, it has been very nice since.
The manager treated us beyond anything we expected, and will be back again.
And it is just far enough away from the busyness, but close enough to everything. Can be where you want from outlets to other attractions in minutes. Also I can not say enough about the Fireside Tavern next door. A great place to eat. Fabulous food and very friendly.

Hotel itself was a little old but nice. Went to a wedding on the property and it was just beautiful. Stayed the night and the only complaint would be extremely hard bed but spoke to others the next day who had very soft beds so I guess it just depends on what room you get.

The room, honeymoon suite, was absolutely lovely. Clean, comfortable, and spacious. All of the staff were very accommodating. Would recommend!

It was a clean room, a bit outdated. Free breakfast! Some of the many steps were a bit dangerous. Would stay again.

Booked room with jacuzzi tub and king size bed 3 weeks in advance. Arrived for check in and got to room to find regular room with king bed. They offered nothing just said sorry all the jacuzzi rooms are booked and there is nothing I can do. Said there are other hotels in the area that may have a room.

We spent a Friday and Saturday weekend there for my daughter's wedding. The venue was amazing and coordinated everything smoothly. The food was amazing and the rooms were homey and clean. If you want shiny, new and impersonal don't stay here. The free breakfast was a bonus. We received so many complements from the over 50 rooms occupied by friends and family. We will be back!

Would be higher but Wi-Fi doesnt work in room. Explanation was that it might be the lightning from a few weeks ago? Not a huge deal for some but it is for my 2 kids with tablets.

Room was fantastic. Clean, spacious. Breakfast was great. The only down side I can find is the staircase smelled musty. Definitely will go back next time I am near Lancaster PA.

My second time staying at the Clarion Inn. Close to Millennium Theatre and attractions. Nice clean rooms and good breakfast area. Will book it next year.

This older quaint hotel fits in nicely with the setting. Staff is extremely friendly and polite. The room is clean quiet and everything works. The hotel is very pet friendly and provides plenty of places to walk our dogs. We would definitely stay again.

Not bad. Reasonably clean and the room is nice. Room does smell slightly strange though, but not a terrible smell. Internet connection isn't amazing either, I got 1.5Mbps down.

Nice quiet hotel close to everything lancaster. Continental breakfast was well worth the free price. Eggs pancake machine cereal juices. Not bad. B+.

Very kid friendly has a playground& pool, lots of gazebo's&space to relax. The rooms are quaint& clean. It's no ritz but reasonable for the price, nice location, close to dutch wonderland, convenient store&restaurants.

This place is in a great setting and is a very quaint and beautiful place. However, when we arrived we found dead 1/2'' beetles all over the floor and in the bathroom. They also didn't clean the sink and tub. Other then for the fact that our room was dirty and a little small, we did really enjoy the location.
