We just returned from our weekend stay, and we enjoyed every minute. This motel is a true gem! Simple and quaint, with all the necessities. We loved the renovations to the rooms! Breakfast at The Speckled Hen was a delight! Had a wonderful chat before our arrival and again today at checkout. A true family run business, we loved seeing the girls today in action. We will definitely return and we look forward to bringing our kids next time!

This was our first stay at TCH at Strasburg. The rooms are just gorgeous, very farmhouse feel! It is was clean and comfortable.
We had a room with two queen beds. We both agreed that the bed in our room was the most comfortable hotel bed we have ever slept in, added bonus! We loved everything about the aesthetic of TCH. A complimentary breakfast voucher to The Speckled Hen was a lovely treat, food was excellent!
The weather was just perfect and it was just a really restful few days.
We enjoyed Esther @ Sight and Sound and other local treasures. Thank you TCH and staff for a wonderful stay. The Haus of Klauss will be back!

What a great hidden gem! Everything was great! Owners and staff so helpful and friendly. So clean, tastefully decorated, reasonably priced and such country charm. It is a perfect location to do many things in Lancaster County. Highly recommend and will always stay there!

What a wonderful place! Sharon and John are so friendly and accommodating! They make you feel so at home. I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else now. The rooms are spacious, extremely clean, and decorated so nicely! Breakfast at the Speckled Hen across the street is the perfect accompaniment to the Carriage House!

Stayed here for a quick getaway. Was warmly welcomed by Jon who took us to our room. It was clean, quiet and very comfortable. The breakfast voucher to the Speckled Hen was a great touch as that is one of our favorite restaurants. Will absolutely be back again.

Stayed recently for 2 nights and fell in love with the quaint and quiet atmosphere here. The office is so hospitable and are really interested in making sure their guests enjoy not only the experience at The Carriage House, but the experiences in the surrounding area. Our room was exactly what was pictured on their website and the entire place is clean as a whistle. The owners are very transparent which is really hard to find in the hospitality industry sometimes. If you’re looking to explore Strasburg or deeper into Lancaster (and at an amazing price), The Carriage House is definitely the place to stay.

I just spent 2 nights at the Carriage House. It’s was very nice. Clean modern rooms very friendly staff. The Complementary breakfast at the Speckled Hen was excellent. Great selection and friendly staff. I would recommend both places.

Awesome place to relax and sleep. Awesome workers and very reasonable price. The room I had was very cute and felt personally made an ranged for my husband and I. We will definitely be back.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the studio suite. It is so charming and adorable. It was comfy and enjoyable. Having a fully stocked kitchen was amazing. When we checked in they were so kind. The bed was the most comfortable bed and best sleep I’ve ever had. 10/10 recommend and definitely will be coming back!

We LOVED staying here! It was very quaint and homey. Nothing like a typical hotel. Everything was wonderful from the room, The Speckled Hen, close proximity to many sights and entertainment right down to the friendly, gray cat who waited for us in the morning! This was our third time staying at the Carriage House, and we love it more each time we visit. The rooms, towels & bed linens are spotlessly clean. Each room we've been in has had slightly different, but equally as charming, decor. Breakfast at the Speckled Hen is always a delicious little bonus. Everyone is warm, friendly, and inviting. The Carriage House has become our go-to spot when we visit Lancaster County. We'll be back in the Fall!

After visiting Sight and Sound each year for the past 5 years we have finally found the perfect little inn. We already plan on returning here next year on our annual trip. Staff very down home friendly. We had 3 rooms and each one was quaint, clean, and very comfortable. Keep up the good work and we will spread the word that The Carriage House Inn at Strasbourg is THE place to stay.

My husband and I recently stayed here for our overnight get away and to see Sight and Sound. We will definitely be coming back. The rooms are adorable, very comfortable and very clean. When we checked in and out staff was very friendly. It was a great experience :)

Lovely recently renovated place that is affordable for families and close to things such as Strasburg railroad, which is where we were visiting. Clean, spacious, and the manager was very kind! Would definitely recommend.

Overwhelming hospitality! Major renovations to the rooms and everyday upkeep to maintain a clean, bright, welcoming atmosphere. Worth every penny. And the breakfast from The Speckled Hen, which is just across the street, was fantastic. We had French Toast and it was superb! Highly recommended!

Such a cute motel, right in the center of town. You can simply walk out of your door, step on the sidewalk and see all of the historic homes along the way to get dinner or ice cream. This place is very clean and nicely decorated. The owners have done a great job updating everything and the staff is incredibly friendly. You get a $5 voucher for breakfast at the restaurant called The Speckled Hen, which is across the street. The breakfast is fresh and delicious and the coffee is top notch.

My boyfriend and I stayed there last night because we were in town for a wedding. We were very impressed with our room and the staff! If we ever need a room in that area again, we will be returning!

We rented the family suite. We have been coming to Lancaster every year as a family tradition since I was very young. And this has by far been my favorite place we stayed. Centrally located. The staff is so helpful and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I have zero complaints. We will definitely be back next year.

Excellent stay! From the friendly emails, warm greeting upon check in/check out, the updated rooms, and all around lovely, rural, area. Softest beds and great pillows. I didn't sink into them when I slept which is usually the norm in many hotels with their pillows. A hidden gem off the beaten path. Kudos to all :)

I appreciated the warm customer service I received from the very first "hello" on the initial phone call. You know they care and give it that extra personable approach. Thank you for letting us know that the room was truly clean and as we found on our own, very comfortable!

Stayed here for the 4th of July. John made booking super easy. Even with our late check in. Our stay was not long but it was most enjoyable! The king room was beautiful, clean and super comfortable! I Loved the modern design! There had to be almost a dozen pillows on the bed which made it so comfy for me & my wife to fall asleep! Free breakfast at the speckled hen was delicious as well! We will most certainly book again!

We just stayed 4 nights here with our almost 3-year-old, and we loved the place. Our room was clean and the staff members were friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for our itinerary, which included visiting Dutch Wonderland, Cherry Crest Farm, and Kitchen Kettle Village. The rooms have been recently renovated and are beautiful. The bathrooms are not as up-to-date, but still very clean. We had breakfast every morning at The Speckled Hen with our included breakfast vouchers, and the food and service there were excellent! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We stayed at the inn for three nights and were very pleased. For the price it was a nice, clean room. We had two queen beds, a small refrigerator and a coffee pot with all the supplies you would expect. The room also came with a coupon for free breakfast right across the street at a nice cafe. That made it an even better value. This is not a swanky place, just clean and convenient to a ton of attractions in the area. The Inn is family owned and operated and it is obvious that they really care about their guests and the inn.

We are currently here and could not ask for nicer people running the establishment and the renovation of the rooms is beautiful! Great price, great service, nice room. We have arranged for wedding guests to stay and they have been over the top in accommodation! The owners are phenomenal!

New owners and all new renovated rooms. We have stayed here a few years ago and the place was going down hill. What a difference it is now. Very friendly owners now. Offer breakfast vouchers for breakfast at the Specked Hen right across the street, another favorite of ours.

We were looking for a overnight stay with smalltown amenities while dropping our daughter off at college. We found this place to be comfortable, affordable, and clean. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast at the Speckled Hen was a definite plus. We will stay here again on our next trip to Lancaster.

Carriage House Motor Inn made my Christmas Vacation very pleasant. The staff is awesome. Rooms are remodeled, clean and cozy. The new owners have made an excellent job turning the Inn, Carriage House, an awesome place to stay. I will not hesitate to book another stay at Carriage House again.

Nice cozy place with a rural homey vibe. Rooms were clean and looking updated. There are still some elements that look straight from 1970, but the updates are awesome. I know that there is new ownership and they are in the process of updating. You can tell that they care about their establishment.

Decent price but pretty subpar quality overnight lodging. Let's get this out of the way first: NO Wi-Fi. * Besides that, very basic amenities. Pros: functioning AC, cable TV, overall clean and neat rooms, across the street from a great little artisan restaurant, just down the street from the railroad museum. Cons: lack of Wi-Fi, no microwave, outlets were almost unusable due to being overly loose and plugs frequently/annoyingly fell out overnight which is bad news for anyone with a smartphone, minifridge is pretty tiny. *Unless your room is right by the road or right next to the office AND you happen to be a Comcast internet customer because then you'll have access to an "xfintyWi-Fi" network, but the motel itself does not provide internet.

This was in no way a good stay. The pillows smelled like old sweat, the whole place seemed dirty, the Wi-Fi didn't work in the rooms and the breakfast was nothing but cereals and dry bread.

Under new ownership and not an improvement. Lots of issues with rooms. Mold was really bad for breathing. Chemicals in sheets made eyes bloodshot (or perhaps also mold? ) Bathroom fixtures not secure. It's not expensive and you get what you pay for.

Clean very basic accommodations… we had 2 rooms and they were completely different… my wife and I had the baby so we chose the room with the updated AC unit … the other room had a musty smell upon arrival due to the AC not running is my guess… is located pretty close to both Strasbourg and Dutch wonderland … the price was reasonable and we slept well just minor things.

We booked our room on March 2, 2016. It was for a king size bed and a sofa. When we arrived on May 13, we were given a queen bed and no sofa. Considering how far in advance we booked, this just isn't acceptable. We were given a discount on the room, but it is not what we had requested. This will probably be a one time stay at this establishment.

Ive always had pleasant stays here and I come up often for business. Large clean rooms and terrific service. I recommend it highly.

The location is excellent, there is much to do in the area. The room was comfy, cozy, big and clean. Overall one of the best experiences I have ever had. I would recommend it to anyone.

Really good. Not as good as the Red Moose Caboon. Dang good queso made by the teenager. May want to keep the telephone convos about mob duties to a minimum; kept me up all night.
