What a wonderful place to stay. I came here with my 13 y. O. Daughter to visit Meow Wolf. Very, very clean and simple place. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Santa Fe.

Is this a fancy hotel? No. Is this a simply charming VERY clean eclectic little gem? YES. We would definitely come back without a doubt! Very nice and helpful staff, super clean rooms and EXTREMELY comfortable beds! (I have a very bad back and 90% of hotel beds I sleep terribly on) Beautiful landscaping all over the property. Good location about 10 min from the plaza. Right next door to a neat outdoor garden center with lots of little shops on property. We loved it here and would highly recommend it!

This motel was really fun! The authenticity of this motel was really cool. The pricing is also very competitive. Very friendly staff and their little shop is so nice. I bought 2 pair of very pretty Peruvian earrings and the total was only $21! This place is very nice if you like old style Mexican heritage. Cute little breakfast that gets you started for the day. The location is within 5-15 minutes from anywhere touristy!

Hands down best motel I’ve ever stayed in and for a fantastic price. Clean rooms, great service, cute aesthetic. My only problem was the Wi-Fi not working and obviously that’s not a huge deal.

Nice enough hotel. Beds are old and a bit uncomfortable. Shower is not at all easy to understand, and the towels are cheap. But I quite enjoyed our stay. The front desk guy was a pleasure and the rooms were extremely clean.

The motel has artistic touch everywhere. The price doesn't go well with the facilities, if you don't keep the long history and tradition of the motel. But the rooms were clean, provided that the motel is just beside a busy road. Only complaint is the noise that you get from outside or even the room beside you. We came to our room late when neighbors were asleep, so didn't have much problem. Overall it was an excellent stay.

This was a great little motel. It was no frills (to say the least) but the kitschy western theme was quite charming. The front desk staff was also very friendly.

This place is great! Everything you could ask for in a budget-friendly stay in beautiful Santa Fe. Owners are super friendly, love the kitschy-cool vibe and decor! Rooms are super clean, fresh linens, no funky smells. Mini fridge w/ good size freezer, Wi-Fi, cool covered smoking/chill area outside with table & seating. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time. Breakfast was light & a perfect way to start our day. The room was clean & very cozy. The ambience was perfect! We stayed in the Wyatt Earp room. Our hostess, Juliana, was helpful, kind, and really engaged. She recommended a good lunch spot, well done!

Super cute place with a western theme. The woman at the front desk is super friendly and a great resource for the area. The rates are cheaper too, so for it's worth, this place is excellent.

I think the reason one reviewer gave it one star is because they went to the wrong motel! What they described is NOTHING like Silver Saddle. First of all, there is no junk yard, no "skid row" highway, certainly no adult store across the street. What IS across the street are several good restaurants, including a Sonic. (If you don't believe me, check out Google Streets and see for yourself. ) I stayed here while touring NM on motorcycle and would definitely stay here again. If you are looking for a 4-star, keep looking. If you are looking for a romantic get-away, nope. This is a non-pretentious, quaint, authentic motel with lots of charm, basic amenities, and friendly staff.

This motel was just like in the movies! We stayed in the Roy Rogers & loved it so much we booked an additional night! It was old but clean. The small kitchen area was a nice bonus. The staff at the front desk was very friendly & really helped with suggestions about things to do in the area. I would love to stay here again!

Cute and clean, friendly staff… no frills. The facilities are charming but dated. Has Wi-Fi, cable, continental breakfast, off street parking. The most disappointing feature was the shower, very small and no water pressure. Overall a good value for the money.

Loved the midcentury, southwestern feel of this motel. It was perfect for our stay. It was affordable, clean, and safe. The gentleman was very helpful and friendly at the front desk.

Cute retro New Mexico motel. Staff is friendly, the rooms were clean and plenty big enough for our family of 3 traveling. Beds were also firm and comfy. The price was right!

We've stayed here twice in four years and it's awesome. The rooms are small but really well done, everyone is happy and friendly, the beds are great, and if you get the room with the large shower, it's fantastic for big cavemen like me. Would not consider any other hotel or motel in Santa Fe unless this one was full.

I've stayed here in the past and loved it so much that I didn't even look for anywhere else this trip. It's quaint, quiet, unique, comfortable, retro, and is well maintained and pretty. The beds are comfy, bathroom spacious, air conditioning awesome, shower huge and people super friendly. I'd recommend to anyone. I'll be back yet again.

I absolutely loved staying at this motel. It was very clean and the staff are super friendly. It is pretty basic, but met my families needs. The price was very reasonable. My family of 4 stayed in the 2 double beds with tub room. It was just big enough.

Mid-century US meets Southwestern. Clean, peaceful. Will be coming back!

A wonderful little stay! We got in really late so they made accommodations for us. We didn't have to check in until the next morning which was a huge help. Not only did they put our key in a lock box, but they turned on the heat in the room so it was warm and left a light on for us. Our dog goes everywhere with us so it was a relief they allowed pups. 10/10 would recommend.

This place certainly has that southwest kitsch that just feels so Santa Fe. Cheaper than budget places like super 8 and infinitely more cozy. Entire staff was awesome and room was very clean. Will be back next time we are in town for a single night.

An inexpensive motel in the midst of Santa Fe. Built in the 50s, so the rooms are small and the bathrooms are small as well (if you're portly, you just might get stuck in that shower! ). The decor is definitely geared towards Southwest — — — TV / Movies (our room was the Rawhide Room). Very clean. They offer a continental breakfast, but the Pantry restaurant is only a few blocks down the road and the breakfast there is AWESOME!

We had a great stay at the Silver Saddle! We were in town for one night, and it was the perfect price and location. The room was immaculate, everything was clean and well-maintained. The office staff were very friendly and helpful and the free breakfast was great. I would definitely stay here if I'm ever in Santa Fe again!

EXCELLENT customer service! Rooms were comfortable, clean, and attractive. The breakfast and coffee were perfect. The dinning areas provided great photo opportunities. The staff was very friendly and helpful with helping us decide where to visit and where to eat in Santa Fe. Look forward to visiting and staying with the Silver Saddle Motel again! Love this place. We go to NM every year in December for the last 5 years. They allow my 10 lb dog and my 3 lb bunny to stay and they accommodate to make sure we have enough room for both of them. Regardless of whether our plans are taking a drive into CO or going to ABQ we always stay here. Never been disappointed the staff is amazing. We are actually planning our first trip during the spring time and we'll be staying here again!

Our favorite motel on our cross country road trip. Very clean with tile floors. We stayed an extra night and had to get a different room because of scheduled maintenance. Both rooms had different quirky themes. The staff and people staying there were very friendly and we ended up chatting for a while during breakfast each morning. The breakfast was healthier than most other motels, with whole wheat toast, eggs, fruit and more. Also Cafe Castro across the street has delicious food.

Third time to stay at the Silver Saddle. Quaint and clean rooms with comfy beds and great pillows. Excellent value and great location with easy in-and-out. Close enough to the Plaza. The only place we'll stay in Santa Fe regardless of the price.

Cute, eclectic southwest themed motel. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast outside in a lovely outdoor patio, including a surprising fruit option… fresh nectarines! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They even offered our 3-year-old son a little wooden rocking horse to play on! Our room was small, but very nicely decorated. And, thoughtfully included added extra outlets for charging all of our devices!

What a pretentious jerk the guy that answers the phone is. I called to inquire about and possibly book a room, and was quoted a price higher than the peak season lists on the website. Also, when I asked a single simple question about the room the guy berated me about how they didn't appreciate me asking specifics about the room and that I should take it or leave it. Talk about bad customer service before one even becomes a customer. Thanks for saving me from having a bad experience though.
