My wife (Constance Sleeper Spaulding) and I just spent a great weekend as the guests of Hans and Marjorie to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary. The Elizabeth Rose is a great and comfortable place to unwind and enjoy a slow paced measured visit to just chill out and take in the beautiful Maine coastal offerings. Hans and Marjorie provide an awesome venue that stresses comfort, collegiality, and quiet surroundings with a family atmosphere. Military and law enforcement veterans will especially enjoy spending time with Hans chatting about times and events past.

Fabulous accommodations, great hosts!

My husband & I celebrated the first 3 nights of our honeymoon here. We absolutely loved our stay! The B&B is immaculately clean, the hosts Hans and Marjory are amazing. They go out of their way to make each person feel at home and accommodate any needs you may have. They have such a welcoming vibe. The breakfasts are incredible. Marjory is an excellent baker on top of her culinary skills. Hans made me one of the BEST cappuccinos I have ever had in my life. I’m Italian so that is saying a lot lol! Thank you for making such an important time in our life so special! PS — We love Aunt Renee!

Elizabeth Rose is a hidden gem. Hans and Marjorie are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. Their hospitality was outstanding and they are so welcoming to their beautiful B&B. Our room and the rest of the home was lovely. Hans prepares the morning breakfast and will make any request you have for him. We loved the B&B so much we booked our stay with them for Kennebunkport Christmas Prelude in December.

Elizabeth Rose House exceeded our expectations. It was clean and inviting. The breakfast was awesome. Thank you to our hosts, Hans and Marjorie who were super and very accomodating. I would highly recommend it.

What a great stay we had here! The owners were so very warm and welcoming. Fantastic breakfast every morning :) Wish we could have stayed longer, very comfortable and very clean! A MUST stay if you are in the Kennebunk area.

My wife, daughter and myself stayed four nights. We had never experienced a B&B before and it could not have been a more pleasant stay. Hans and Marjorie treated us like family and gave good advice as we explored dining, fun activities and Maine's beautiful coast.

We stayed here for 2 nights and LOVED it. The owners, Hans & Marjorie were excellent hosts, with great recommendations for things to do in the area. The breakfasts were amazing! to say the least. Homemade banana breads, fruits, veggies, eggs, and an egg casserole/quiche dish, sausage, cereals, juices, toast, etc. And there was citrus water and snacks during the day. The room was perfect with a private bathroom. And even though it was sold out, it was quiet for sleeping. We highly recommend it and hope to stay again sometime!

Really one of the best Bed & Breakfasts my wife and I have stayed at. Their cooking is excellent, comfortable and welcoming rooms, and great conversation.

My wife an I celebrated our anniversary this weekend at the Elizabeth Rose B@B in Kennebunk. The owners Hans and Marjorie were the consummate host and hostess. They made us feel we were part of their family. The house was beautiful. The room was very big and had everything we needed. The food was great as was the service. Hans and Marjorie couldn’t do enough for you. We highly recommend this B&B to anyone who is considering staying in the area. You will be glad you did!

Attended the open house on Friday, place is beautiful. Owners are awesome, this place rocks!

A wonderful place to stay, complete with Betsy and Paul being the best hosts imaginable. We were gathered for my sisters wedding, and the Elizabeth Rose House offered the perfect retreat for our immediate family amidst all the hustle and excitement. With beautifully appointed guest rooms, and large dining and sitting rooms downstairs it truly offered a home away from home. Thank you for everything Betsy and Paul. We will be back.

We really enjoyed our stay here earlier this month. It was nice to find a place in the area with reasonable rates, and probably the only place that would allow us to book one night without a minimum stay. The owners were very kind and welcoming and helped us get acquainted with the area on our brief visit.

I cannot say enough good things about Paul, Betsy, and their awesome b&b. They are so warm, hospitable, and made us feel right at home. They were extremely helpful and worked hard to make sure we were able to see everything we wanted while in Maine. This was probably the best hotel/b&b experience I've ever had.

Lynne and I had a wonderful time there and the hospitality was second to none. Will go again and again. I recommend it to everyone that wants a nice get away and treat you like family.
