The Owners of the Inn were warm and friendly and their right right hand Lady was Amazing! She always had a smile and a cheerful Good Morning for us!
You have to try one of the owner’s Lobster Pot Pie.! It’s Shauna’s signature dish and absolutely delicious! The restaurant is located in the Inn however, is only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday Night. I believe this is due to covid-
You can sit on the porch, kick back, read and watch the happenings take place on Main Street. Many fun restaurants within walking distance and everyone was friendly, it was a great location!

Well crafted cocktails and food. You must go. Save room for dessert.

Hosted a bridal shower for my best friend and the staff was AMAZING. So accommodating of all of our needs and didn’t make us feel rushed at all. And the food was FANTASTIC. I cannot stop thinking about how delicious everything was & will have to come back to get my fix!

When trying to sleep you could hear every footstep, every conversation. Then to be woken up at 9:00 AM by vacuuming! Aside from that the bed was rock hard and the bathroom was tiny. And they don’t offer even so much as a continental breakfast! Very disappointing!

Enjoyed a lovely lunch for two! We shared the Kennebunk Inn salad and burger. Our salad was fresh and flavorful, our burger was juicy and cooked to perfection. Service was attentive. Only suggestion, it is beyond time to remove the carpet in the dinning areas.

I had a wonderful dining experience.

The Lobsta Pot Pie is loaded with meat and a great cream sauce with fresh veggies. Good wine list and Charlie our server was on his game.

Lobster Pizza and Lobster Lo-Mein are out of this world. Brian and Shannah and their staff are the best. Thank you for being so excellent :)

Dated, antique furnishings in the lobby areas and creaking wood floors and steps only add charm to this delightful Inn! Our 2-bedroom suite was very modern & spacious enough for a family of 2 adults and 3 teen boys for 1 night. Plenty of closet storage and drawers. The suite had a single bathroom with a shower stall, but plenty of room and shelves to accommodate multiple guests. The sofa converts to a spacious & comfortable king bed. Bedding could be better — flat sheets are easier for housekeeping but come loose and slide around on the mattresses while sleeping. I had to readjust my sheets a couple times in the night to stay comfortable. Window A/C units worked well and kept the space cool, except in the king room where it felt warm despite adjusting the temperature down a few times. The kitchen was very nice! Although we didn't cook, we used the fridge to keep drinks cold and the microwave to reheat food. We used the dishes & utensils to eat breakfast we bought at Boulangerie behind the Inn. Tea, coffee & juice is complimentary at the back of the restaurant area. Be sure to have dinner at Academe on the main level!

The room was great, very clean. Made for an awesome stay. Only thing, low ceilings are tough for tall people le me (6'5"). Keep that in mind of you're tall.

We saw about the lobster pot pie on "the best thing I ever ate, " so we stopped here excited to try it. It was definitely not the best thing we ever ate. My family also got the margherita pizza and the lobster pizza (featured in Oprah's magazine). The pizzas were delicious. Service was excellent. But we were disappointed in the pot pie.

Academe restaurant was AMAZING! A hidden gem in town — not just for Inn guests. Lobster pizza was off the hook! And their specialty lobster pot pie was a must have. We also had the blue cheese salad — yum! Worth every bite! And glad we stopped in for lunch!

Wonderful part of town. Had a great room for the entire family. To bad that the restaurant was closed. Really wanted to try the lobster pot pie.

Couldn't have enjoyed our stay any more than we did. Check in was pleasant, quick and easy. Dinner wad awesome. The court yard was perfect to enjoy a glass of wine on a gorgeous night. Our room was cozy, clean, and VERY comfortable!

Great place! Staff is very helpful, facility is clean. Dinner at the Burleigh restaurant was quite delicious. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Very friendly staff, very clean room. Everything is updated, and it's way more space and two people need and the price was great too. I would totally recommend this place. Next time I come back up here, and I do with family every year, I'm definitely owing to be staying here.

What a lovely dog-friendly inn. Restaurant was closed sadly as we'd wanted to try it. Duffy's is a short walk and were incredibly friendly. We also loved Boulangerie. Our suite was so spacious. I was worried as lots said rooms are small. That is not the case. Each bedroom was separated by the bathroom. King bed in one and queen in the other. Living room had a small sectional. Kitchen could use a coffeemaker but is otherwise adequate. Three TVs in all so no fighting for control at night. Location is also great. About 10 minutes to Wells Beach, which is my favorite pet-friendly beach. Walk to convenience stores and restaurants. About 50 minutes to Portland or Mackworth Island. If you have a dog with you and can find parking, Mackworth is a must!

Great Inn with a bar and dining room right in the heart of downtown Kennebunk. Never stayed at the Inn but have eaten at the restaurant and had cocktails at the bar. The food is good as well as the service. Parking is easy and usually right on the street.

No ghosts! No matter what they say. Great place to go.

Excellent restaurant. Pat the bartender is outstanding in every way. Food is great, rooms are cute, all in all a really nice way to get away from it all for a night. Five stars!

We had a wonderful week here! Cannot say enough nice things about the staff at the inn, they lent me scissors to wrap Christmas gifts, and kindly gave us some extra time before checking out during a bad snowstorm. Room was much more than expected, it was VERY pet friendly (wood and tile! ) and had an unexpected extra day bed perfect for TV viewing. It was quiet and private in our section of the inn, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Friendly staff and lovely accommodations. BUT, the highlight is the food prepared by Brian and Shanna. I can’t say enough about the food! It’s delicious. Every. Single. Bite. From start to finish (cocktails to dessert) everything is prepared with expertise. Just do yourself a favor and get something with lobster!

We have been dining here for over 10 years and never had a bad meal; from their specialty lobster dishes to any pasta or sandwich everything is fantastic and unique. In the summer seating is offered on their patio and in winter we cozy up to their lounge area. Wait staff and bartenders are pleasant and knowledgeable. If you pass on their signature cocktails (which you shouldn't! ) order a bottle or two of wine, the selection is well thought out and the price surprisingly affordable.

Beautiful inn that is right in town. Staff was extremely welcoming. Perfect for a fall getaway and hiking in the area.

The food at their restaurant is excellent: fresh, delicious, finely seasoned it will raise your gastronomic experience to a higher level. Definitely try: lobster pizza and lobster pot pie! The hotel is in a beautiful historic building and well maintained. Great service.

Can I give it 0 stars? Never have I checked in to a hotel only to leave 15 minutes later. I booked the hotel using frequent flyer miles, so I didn't really lose any money, after driving for 4 hours we thought we would spend night, and continue our journey in the morning, instead I drove the 3 hours home, The maintenance in room was awful, it was not decorated, there was rust and peeling paint every where, a TV so small they should have been embarrassed to claim a TV was in the room. Why you had to step up to use the toilet we couldn't figure out. Stay away from this place.

Expensive for a reason… Delicious food and great staff!

My husband and I stay there for 1 night. While the staff and restaurant were amazing, the room itself was not all that great. Beside the creeky floors (which I'm sure you're thinking, well, it's an old building, of course it's going to have creeky floors, but they were creeping ALL night… and loud), the room did not feel private at all. Our specific room had a gab between the door and the frame which left us feeling very exposed. The bathroom was extremely outdated and felt dirty and our bed was made with a sheet that didn't actually fit the bed so in the middle of the night we were sleeping on the mattress protector… bleh. I am giving it 3 stars bc the staff was absolutely wonderful in both the Inn and the restaurant. Our food/drinks were fantastic and original. Maybe a little more attention and updates could be made to the Inn.

I loved the lobster pizza. Definitely want to go back to try the lobster pot pie. There's also a nice outside seating area.

The water in the shower was Luke warm and the room super hot, otherwise it was a great visit.

Our room was small and hot and our shower had lukewarm water. We liked the history and location of the inn though.

Easily located on a main Street. Very old house. Creeky floors. Small TV but comfortable bed and pillows. Another negative is NO breakfast whatsoever. Just coffee and tea.

Nicely located old inn on main street. Very creaky floors. Our room. Was nice. Floor was sagging near the bed. TV was tiny. Bathroom was small. But I guess those can be overlooked. But my issue was no breakfast offered. For a inn that has a "restaurant" located in house you think they'd offer something. Maybe they're just cheap? Probably won't return.

If you are looking for a place that has charm, history and character (built in 1799) then this is the place to stay. Our room & bathroom was clean & closet was roomy. It was perfect for our get away weekend to celebrate our 10 yr anniversary. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We also had lunch and dinner at Acadame and oh my goodness… the food was amazing. We had the traditional lobster roll, the white lobster pizza, filet mignon, s'mores dessert, a drink called "sage against the machine" to name a few… Definitely will be going back!

Hard to beat the quality and value of this local gem. Whenever we go to southern Maine on vacation, this is a dinner stop for at least two nights. We really like the lobster white truffle pizza, the lobster pot pie and the seafood chowder. The cocktails are great, too.

Amazing I come here a lot with my family.

Along with another couple, my husband and I reserved a suite for Sept 19th and the 20th @ a cost of $ 408.00 total for the 2 nights. We booked the suite, with the understanding it was 2 bedrooms, one with 2 twin beds and one with queen size bed. When we were taken to the room the first thing we saw was that the 2 twin beds was actually a twin bed and trundle that pulled out. Not ideal but okay. We then went into the Queen size room. It was very nice, but the problem arose when we realized that in order to use the bathroom you had to pass thru the queen bedroom. Being as we were 2 couples, this was not acceptable. We wnt downstairs immediately to try and find a remedy. The only solution we were offered was to book another room at a cost of $ 380.00 per room. We asked if there was any way they could help us with the cost, it was about twice what were expecting. The answer was NO. I asked if we could cancel, the answer was no unless we paid $ 204.00. We had no choice but to stay. Not even a dinner or drink offered. I do not beleive this was a SUITE. It was 2 attached bedrooms. There was no sitting area, nothing but the beds. I then checked out on Sunday and left my BRAND new, relatively expensive pillow. I called at 8:00 am Monday morning and talked to receptionist, describing the pillow and the pillow case. She went and found the pillow, told me she had it in her hands, and would mail it to me. I told her she had my charge card number so I was more than happy to pay.

I stayed there have a good time. I did stay in the back and I didn't really like that room. They were very nice and switched us to the front from the inn. Recommended highly. Remember it is older building, like 1800's older.

Both the lobster roll and the lobster pie contained spoiled lobster meat. It smelled and tasted horribly. Will definitely not go there again.

Dinner at the Kennebunk Inn is always wonderful, from their cocktails, to their food, to their stellar service. The cocktails vary from the traditional pomegranate margarita, to the quintessential blueberry cosmo made with blueberry ice. Their entrees will please anyone in your crowd, with choices such as chicken croquettes, pan seared filet mignon with black truffled cream corn, and a hamburger with your choice of toppings and ranch house fried potato chips. Don't forget dessert; moderation sizes of each of their delectable desserts, including their unforgettable s'more, make it impossible to say no.

I feel that the owners here really care about what they are doing. I have eaten here at least 5 times and each time has been a great experience. Dinner is exceptional. I like the fact that there are a range of items (and prices) for dinner from burgers to well-crafted entrees.
