Nice place on the beach. Could use some updating but the people are nice, attentive and clean rooms.

Only Inn we could find that connects directly to the beach in the Kennebunk Kennebunkport area. Great history, staff, and rooms. Can't wait to go back.

Hotel was ok with the off season prices, but is way over priced in season for what it is. It's outdated, mattresses hard, breakfast is not until 8:30am, there was no coffee maker or tea in rooms or at the reception. When we asked for a cup of coffee 30 minutes before breakfast was available, we were told to drive to nearest gas station to get some, even though coffee was already made. It was nice that the Ocean is very close, and it has excess to a rocky beach. How ever though, it does not have ocean view. In season you can definetly get more service and comfort at a chain hotel and spent way less.

Really nice clean place, warm people and extraordinary muffins! Great location and you can start your mornings by walking to the beach which is 2 mins away. Winter is less crowded and ideal for those who seek a weekend get away or calmness.

This Inn by the water was so quaint and homey it felt like being back at home at my grandmother's. Beds were super comfortable, the room was super clean, and the view was absolutely amazing. Not to mention breakfast was delightful, and they make some of the best muffins I've ever had. We hope to return to Maine, and when we do we hope to stay here again, and every time we return. Was an amazing stay.

Beautiful place to stay and it is right next to the ocean!

We had a room with an ocean view that was comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The hot tub on the deck was running and it was relaxing to soak in warm water, look at the stars, and listen to the ocean. It was so relaxing that we booked an additional night.

Great Spot, only Wi-Fi didn't work well — and the front desk didn't seem to care about that.

This is a great place to stay. The breakfast is delicious and the location is unbeatable. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. We have come 2 years and plan on making it a yearly trip.

A great place for a beach getaway! A short path to the beach is just outside the rooms and stations to rinse off you're feet have been set up.

Nice little hotel with a dedicated sand path to a private and much quieter section of beach. The room was clean but we could hear every footstep from the room above us. Decent, but not great, water pressure in the shower. Complimentary continental breakfast with classical music playing in the background. Very friendly staff.

Very nice inn. Stay here every year. Nice people, clean, kid-friendly, bathroom needs a bit of an update, but it is still nice. People should come with their families to enjoy a perfect summer!

Perfect oean vacation 6 hrs from Montreal. Family operated for 4 centuries. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our short stay at the Seaside Inn. It's very close to Dock Square, the beach, and just beautiful land everywhere. The rooms are no frills, but very clean, spacious, and quiet, including the bathroom. The staff were very lovely, not overbearing, and the breakfast was perfect to fill up on before trekking out for sightseeing. The homemade muffins were out of this world delicious. We will definitely stay there again if we ever make it out to the Kennebukport area.

If you can, do not stay here. 9 generation owners mean that hotel is old fashioned, old beds, old furniture, not clean, cheap continental breakfast. Front desk people are not friendly.

Clean and the owners are nice but the walls are paper thin. I really don't appreciate listening to someone's child stomping around above my head or our neighbors talking. Would be five stars otherwise.

I proposed to my fiancé on the beach and we had a wonderful time driving around town, walking on the beach and being very close to shore. Great atmosphere!
