Had a wonderful 4 nights at this Inn. It is quiet and peaceful and in a perfect location. The Inn Keeper and her staff could not be more accommodating and friendly. They serve delicious breakfast every morning offering something different each day. Loved their use of fresh vegetables and herbs as well as locally sourced ingredients. Enjoyed meeting other guests from near and far and sharing suggestions on “must see” sites, excursions, and restaurants. We will definitely be return guests.

My husband and I stayed at the Inn last week for a couple of nights. Booked the Serenity Room which was beautifully appointed and provided lovely views of the back gardens. Elizabeth is a most gracious owner. Enjoyed a relaxing and delicious breakfast on the terrace and looked forward to her homemade cookies in the late afternoon. The Inn is well situated along the road leading into Kennebunkport. A quick walk to the hub of activity. We preferred the peaceful setting of the Inn as our “home base”. So many special touches in the Inn…worth every penny! Highly recommend.

I highly recommend this beautiful B&B that I had the luxury of visiting this weekend! Everything was spotless and the grounds were beautifully maintained! From the fine linens, comfortable bed cool fireplace this place is a win win! Oh and I have to mention the baked goods placed out everyday for your enjoyment! Elizabeth is amazing, so helpful and accommodating which made our stay most memorable! The breakfast served every morning was out of this world delicious! I will miss it when I wake up tomorrow lol! Highly recommend this place and so grateful to have found it! 5 stars from me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

From the moment we walked into the carriage house, we felt right at home, beautifully decorated for Valentine’s Day. Very cozy and quaint and the homemade sweets were delicious. Love was in the air! The owner, Elizabeth was very personable and made us feel comfortable and we didn’t want to leave. We hope she has more special couple events, we will be back ❤️

This is our first time staying at the Inn at English Meadows but definitely not the last! The place is absolutely beautiful! The rooms and land here is impeccable! Elizabeth is so thoughtful and a fantastic host! The Inn is a short walk to restaurants and Dock Square. Would absolutely recommend coming here!

Just returned from our second visit to celebrate a special event, and it was wonderful. Elizabeth couldn’t have been more hospitable and we can’t wait to return!

Had a wonderful weekend here with my wife. HIGHLY recommend this Inn. Rooms are lovely and the host is fantastic. Extremely thoughtful and the breakfasts were lovely as well. Location is extremely convenient. Lastly, I think the pricing is extremely reasonable given the price of the other highly rated hotels and inns in the area. We will definitely be back!

We visited as part of a Veteran’s Day promotion. What an amazing experience. Elizabeth is a most gracious hostess and has left no stone unturned. Her attention to detail is amazing and she goes out of her way to interact with guests and make them feel right at home. We surely hope to return soon,

Loved our stay at The Inn at English Meadows! Everything was lovely from our comfortable and cozy room to the fabulous breakfasts. Elizabeth and her staff were very warm and welcoming. Five stars from me!

Everything was just lovely and thoughtfully done. I love the fresh decor and the areas where you can sit with a book or a glass of wine, both indoor and out. Comfortable room, really nice soaps and lotions. I was so happy with everything, AND THEN, I had breakfast! Homemade coffee cake muffin, broiled pineapple with shaved coconut, and the lightest, fluffiest waffles with ham and cheese baked in with maple syrup. It felt so luxurious and also comfortable and relaxing. Elizabeth the innkeeper is so sweet and friendly. She also really knows the area and gave us great recommendations. Lastly, I loved the location. Just a few short blocks from the center of Kennebunkport. Her location is nice and quiet and I love having a nice walk after dinner.

This is an absolutely beautiful inn with a wonderful, attentive staff and gorgeous grounds. Everything here is top quality. The beds are very comfortable with very nice linens. The rooms are well appointed and spacious. We had a beautiful view of the garden. The breakfast was great, the chef came out our first day to chat and the servers were very nice and efficient. We hope to make it back some day! Highly recommend!

Looking for an awesome girls weekend? The Inn at English Meadows truly has it all! The owner worked with our group to customize a wonderful get away — custom cocktails, massages, and a private yoga class. Additionally, the Inn is beautiful and charming and it’s in an amazing location — walking distance from all the shops and restaurants of Kennebunkport, as well as a beautiful beach. I cannot wait to go back!

We stayed here a few years ago and loved it. Since then the Inn has changed hands and yet this visit exceeded all of our expectations. From delicious breakfasts to quiet nights around the fireplace it was an all around a perfect get away. We can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate my 50th! We absolutely enjoyed everything about it — from the owners making us feel at home, to the fabulous breakfasts with everything fresh and homemade! They also have us great recommendations for Where to dine and places more of the locals hang! Never once felt like a tourist! Coming back very soon.

I work for a dentist office out of Saco and we had our team business meeting here. It was a great experience, friendly owners, quiet, and beautiful landscape views outside. Would recommend for travelers away or for meetings!

Wonderful experience overall. The Tranquility Suite was just that — tranquil, well appointed, simply perfect. Breakfast was delicious and enjoyably served in 3 courses each morning, and the innkeepers were extremely attentive to our food allergies! The location was perfect — a brief walk to downtown Kennebunkport, but none of the noise of downtown. Do not miss the cookies baked every afternoon!

Amazing stay! Very clean and comfortable.

Beautiful, elegant, comfortable and clean. The innkeepers are wonderful hosts, baking cookies and bread daily, and providing super breakfasts and coffee. The amenities are terrific, from Vera Wang mattresses and Frette linens to bathrobes and water carafes. Highly recommended.

Clean very quiet nice place to stay but very little gest service.

Quaint, quiet, but still centrally located for day trips up and down the coast. Superb breakfasts. Excellent dining options nearby as well.

We spent a wonderful three days at The Inn last month. Our room was beautiful, the service from our lovely hosts was first class and the breakfast was delicious. Cannot recommend a visit highly enough. Hope we will be able to return one day.

We stayed for 2 nights and it truly deserves its 5 stars. The standards were high, the bed was extremely comfy and the staff friendly. The highlight was breakfast and the weather was so good we enjoyed the home cooked food on the patio. Having travelled from the United Kingdom for a vacation I hope all our hotels / Inns are as good as this.

The Inn at English Meadows is just fabulous! We stayed in a private cottage. Kate and David were so accommodating and lovely hosts. They brought breakfast to us each morning (the pancakes an maple sausages OMG), served tea and cookies in the afternoon, suggested activies, provided beach chairs and a beach pass, and even had a pack & play and a toy set for toddlers. Excellent location, within walking distance to restaurants, dock square and downtown. The beds were very comfortable, nice malin & goetz toiletries stocked the bathroom, and the kitchen had a sink, nespresso machine and a cold refrigerator & freezer. Oh! And don't forget the frette robes and slippers. Our cottage had an outdoor screened in porch that was perfect for lounging, reading and having a glass of wine. The inn has a lovely lawn with outdoor games and Adirondack chairs for enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Amazing place and gracious hosts. The food is some of the best I've had in Maine.

Simply beautiful — everything about our recent 5 night visit exceeded our expectations. Our room was well appointed, the decor was modern and welcoming and the grounds are lovely. Excellent location — walking distance to town and short ride to the beach. Warm hospitality accompanied delicious 3 course breakfasts every day. Seriously, no one needs that much food but every course was so fresh and delicious we just couldn't help ourselves — and ate every bite-the fresh baked goods were exquisite! We will be back!

My wife and I have stayed at the Inn and English Meadows our last two trips to Kennebunkport for our anniversary, and also recommended it to my in-laws (who also loved it). David and Kate are excellent hosts and have done a tremendous job running the inn. The rooms are perfect, beds are comfortable, and Kate's breakfast the next morning is a must. They are also plugged into the social scene in Kennbunk, and we were able to enjoy their Supper Club one night during our stay where they hosted a guest chef to put out an amazing 5-course meal with a wine pairing. Can't say enough positive things about the Inn and we look forward to coming back again the next time we go to Kennebunk.

I stayed here on a family trip to see the old friends who own this Inn. I had a good time here, Mr. Parisi and his wife were friendly and eager to talk about nearby eateries and attractions in town, as well as cooking up a mean meal themselves. I'm happy to be staying here, and even if I'm not your average customer, I can heartily reccomend the Inn.

Great place for kennebunk visitors.

My wife and I were looking to get away for a weekend and have usually stayed away from B&B's, but with the recommendation of a friend we chose to try it. The level of hospitality and attention to detail by Kate, David and their staff made our stay exactly what we needed. Kate's three-course breakfast is by far the best in Kennebunkport and we cannot recommend this place enough for the intimacy and service provided.

We tend to be wary of B&Bs. Victorians cluttered with tzotskies, intrusive innkeepers, smelly rooms… just don't make for relaxing getaway. The Inn at English Meadows not only exceeded our expectations, but also seta new standard for what an enjoyable vacation accomadations could be. The fresh well appointed decor, verdant gardens, gracious hosts, delectable breakfast, comfortable rooms enabled us to feel at instantly at home. Kate and David insured that our every need was met. Beach chairs, wine, iced water, beach passes… were easily taken care of. Our room was tidied up as if by elves while we enjoyed Kate's locally grown and lovingly prepared 3 course breakfast. We can't wait to explore another room in the Inn on our next visit!

This was my first time visiting the inn and I found both the innkeepers and the inn itself to be extremely warm and inviting.

What a wonderful experience. This Inn is by far the best I have ever seen. It is impecablly clean, cheerful and homey. The Inn keepers are wonderful people and the service is superb. Location is great too. A five star for sure.

What an amazing stay we had for our Honeymoon! We were very well cared for during our entire stay! And since it was "off season" we ended up being the only guests for a couple days through the week so Kate let us give some input on what we wanted for breakfast! From the Pita breakfast pizza to the waffles and every breakfast in between we were truly amazed. The room was so beautiful and inviting. Loved the fireplace and the shower! We can't wait to come back again! Anyone looking for a nice tranquil retreat from the busy-ness of life should definitely come here and get away from it all.

When researching "Bed and Breakfasts" in Maine this past year, The Inn at English Meadows in Kennebunk was one that came up often. My husband and I decided to give it a try. We arrived late in the afternoon and were greeted warmly by David and Kate Parisi, the innkeepers. Our room was on the second floor, bright with light, spacious with a sitting area that added to the ambiance of the room. Ice water was brought up and refreshed daily, while a basket of nibbles were set out for those hungry moments. The bathroom was large and literally the cleanest bathroom I have ever seen. As we had arrived in the later part of the day, cookies and tea were set out in the dinning area for our consumption. The Inn was built in 1860, I believe, and has been beautifully updated with a more contemporary yet comfortable, eclectic decor. The amazing original artwork lives throughout the Inn and worth the stay alone. We stayed for two peaceful nights and two very delicious breakfasts. Kate is a fabulous cook, serving three beautifully presented courses each morning. Everything was fresh and delicious. One did not leave the table hungry. David advised us of the shopping areas, which by the way, are walking distance from the Inn. Kennebunk and Kennebunkport sit side by side with cute little shops, art galleries and restaurants lining the streets. David and Kate were such gracious hosts. They genuinely want their guests to enjoy their stay with them. And enjoy we did.

Stayed a night at this beautifully restored and updated inn and thoroughly enjoyed all Kennebunkport had to offer. The location is superb, quiet and beautiful and just a short walk to the town for dining, shopping and the beautiful beaches. The beds are extremely comfortable, rooms impeccably furnished with luxurious touches everywhere. Loved tucking into the fresh Frette sheets for the night. Waking up to a lovely, gourmet breakfast that was fresh, seasonal and delicious was another treat. Do make it a point to visit this grand bed and breakfast if you are planning an overnight in Kennebunkport, you will not be disappointed!

My wife always wanting to experience new places suggested a trip to Kennebunk and The Inn at English Meadows was in her sights. Now, we have stayed in a lot of B&B's and expect certain things to be rather consistent like a comfortable bed, nice bath, creaking floors in the night, you've been there. We were pleased to see that the Innkeeper moved the bar. Everything was at least one notch higher than we would expect. Snacks and beverages when we arrived, a room with amenities and attention to detail one only sees at the best hotels. Did I mention comfortable. And an OH MY GOD breakfast. Dave and Kate, you out did my expectations. The frosting was a Tesla destination charger to fill up on electrons for the trip around and back. Have fun. Bruce.

My husband and I spent three nights at the Inn and enjoyed it thoroughly. We stayed in the Tack Room which is very quiet and comfortable. Our innkeepers, Kate and David, went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The breakfasts were hearty and delicious. We both look forward to visiting again.

This was the middle leg of a three-stop vacation that began in the Berkshires and ended in Newport, RI. It was love at first sight: Meticulously tended gardens outside, fresh-brewed coffees and Mighty Leaf teas inside, with to-die-for homemade brownies, biscotti, and cookies. Our room was sublime, quiet and calming, every detail large and small was spot-on. Innkeepers David and Kate have clearly gone to great lengths. David recommended some great dining spots and had a terrific chilled white wine to offer for a restaurant that's BYO. All that would be more than enough to bring us back, but then the hands-down star of the experience arrives each morning: Breakfast! This isn't your basic "really good" breakfast, it's a gourmand's dream. Kate prepares a three-course meal that my wife and I agree is simply the best we've ever had… that includes any famous chef you can name. She conjures simple, local ingredients into something truly special. Can scrambled eggs really be that good? The answer, in a word, is yes. That's just one entree of the three we had (it's different each morning). Bravo to David and Kate! We will be back as soon as we can!

From the linens to the soaps and creams to the award winning breakfasts I feel we have discovered a place that we will recommend to all our friends and be sure to return to. We couldn't wait for late afternoon each day to see which delicious baked goods would be set out for our tasting. My bother in law surprised my sister and I with a night at English Meadows on a visit to Kennebunkport. Upon arrival we knew we where not at any ordinary B&B. The decor and ambiance was modern and comfortable. Our room was beautiful and the second we sat on the bed we reconsidered our plans to go out right away. We enjoyed our complimentary glass of wine, while chatting with the Innkeepers. David and Kate had wonderful suggestions for places to dine and activities to enjoy in Kennebunkport. Since breakfast is my favorite meal, I was excited for what Kate had in store. Three courses of homemade goodness, did not disappoint. We enjoyed a scone with honey, cinnamon butter. Maple yogurt with berries and homemade granola. And a goat cheese scrambled eggs with toast and local bacon. I was in heaven. I wholeheartedly recommend this Bed and Breakfast for anyone who is staying in or around Kennebunkport.
