A fabulous hotel, with everything you could want!
A short walk to everything. A beautiful setting & very helpful staff.
I would thoroughly recommend this Resort to anyone.

The room in general was nice and spacious. The access to a private pool was very pleasant. However two main things: 1. No tooth brush — really minor but as most hotels would offer this as amenity, we were a little surprised that the hotel didn’t offer any 2. Bed bugs — I had bites on my back after our first night, which I thought came from the mosquitoes. But the second and third night confirmed these were from bed bugs. Now I have bites all over. : ( Be careful.

Stay here, good breakfast (not great but decent enough) friendly staff, room service, clean, nice a/c, big rooms, good pool and best spot in railay for sports on a big screen.

We travel a lot every year, this is our first time stay at this hotel, we love fast check in, we like explore the area by foot, I like the healthy breakfast with make me very good start, I will come back soon.

Great hotel and value. Happy was great and so was the wing dipping sauce. Pool was clean and refreshing, definitely recommend the 1st level swim up room if you're staying for a while. No early check in but accommodating. If you're climbing then Only go to spider climbing as you can try on your equipment. ALL the climbing companies share the same instructor's. Lastly, when you purchase your ferry ticket be sure to take a picture of the receipt, we lost ours and had to buy 2 : (as they "lost" the carbon copy.

Good food. Good value. Nice atmosphere with good service. We didn't stay here but we returned twice to eat here.

We stayed in a suite with it's own pool, which was incredible. Really clean, great air con, bath, 2 TVs and comfy bed. Service was good, breakfast was ok, not great. The bar area is small, but fine. Pool is nice but not a lot of seating.

My husband and I have stayed here twice. We love it. Clean, spacious rooms, great waterfall shower, and if you're on the ground level, access to the pool directly from your room. Friendly staff, monkeys and kitties on the property, and really nice ambiance and design all contribute to what makes this place so special. Book early since lodging on Railay is limited and Avatar is very popular.

The rooms are spacious and clean and there is a great choice for breakfast. Very good value for money.

Good affordable mid range option for Railay. The rooms near the pool are awesome because they have private terraces. Was fairly clean and they offer discount for guests dining at their restaurant. Breakfast was okay but you might get bored after a few days. Dinner was so so.

Best hotel in Krabi for sure! Most beautiful hotel I had ever been to. Take the room with the swimming pool access if you wanna get the most romantic atmosphere!

The rooms are very nice, go to the pool directly from the balcony. The staff is very friendly and nice. Good service.

Restaurant Review** Literally at the table writing this review as food is so terrible. Order red Thai curry which was a lazy Pad Thai version, which I personally dislike and tasted nothing Red Thai curry. My partner received a cheese burger which looked so bland and boring which turned out to be raw. Service is slow as they hover in the bar area. I’d avoid the restaurant.

A very pretty and cheap hotel. The staff is friendly, rooms are spacious and clean, each with a lovely terrace above the pool in the courtyard below. Very good value for the price.

This is our second time here, and we're just as happy as before. We brought our extended family, this time, and they're thrilled. We will return again!

I stayed at the bottom villa next to the restaurant. It was very spacious, very comfortable and clean! The only thing was the bathtub wasn't clean.

Overall: Fabulous hotel with great location! Good: — Everything was perfect! — The room was large with amazing view and big balcony with sofas. — Staff was great. — Great pool. — High level of cleanness. Bad: — Nothing expect that the toilet door was transparent.

This place was by far the best hotel I stayed at during my stay in Thailand. I booked a room on the first floor with direct pool access. Room was large, updated, and very clean. Pool is great. Hotel is located on the side of Railay without much of a beach, so it's a short walk to the beach on the other side (maybe 5-7 minutes).

Definitely something different. Night life, fun to walk around, family friendly place. Lots of choices of food, massage, and some shopping but you need to get the boat to the side of this hotel otherwise we had to walk with our luggage from Sea Sand hotel. That was not pleasent.

Nice place for the price with large, clean rooms. The beds were comfortable and the pool is really unique. Had a great stay at avatar and the staff was friendly. It’s not the cheapest on Railay, but it’s def worth the price.

We stayed here for 3 nights, in a wonderful villa with floor to ceiling windows that all slid open and a wrap around balcony! Breakfast was amazing and short walk to the beach! Staff was so courteous and the restaurant and bar is one of the busiest ones! Food is delicious and great prices! Also try the ice cream at the entrance to the resort. So yum!

The best hotel in Thailand! This hotel was absolutely perfect! It felt like a 5 star hotel, the villa was huge, absolutely beautiful and lush, with an amazing balcony and stunning views. It was spotlessly clean and full of amenities as well as the hotel, which had an amazing pool, a great restaurant and an extremely kind and effective staff. Besides, the hotel is very affordable, I absolutely recommend it!

Railey is definitely the place to be if you come to south Thailand. I live in Phuket which is beautiful but there are no landscapes equal to Railey's. Avatar is ocean front and close to the jetty so it's super convenient. The rooms are huge and modern with all you need. One thing is the views are not superb from the room but from the bar/restaurant it's great.

A beautiful resort at a great price, beautiful terrace, attached to the House, near the pool. Only downside: sewer smell in bathroom. I solved it by closing the door.

Absolutely loved this place! Great room — — really attractive and comfortable. Each room has a big futon on its balcony, and the first-floor rooms have balconies that attach to the pool. (Cool for pool access, not cool for you if you're super private. ) At a place like Railay I never thought I'd care about if the hotel had a pool, but I could've spent hours in this one with its floating lounge chairs. The staff was really nice, and the breakfast had a lot of options including a made-to-order egg bar. It was also nice that breakfast goes until 10:30, if you want to have an early morning at the beach first (or sleep in). The location is great. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach (although few places in Railay are farther than that. ) If you come in on a boat from Ao Nang, it'll drop you at the beach on the west side, so it'll just be that five minute walk to the hotel; if you come in on a boat from Krabi Town, it'll drop you on the east side, which is only a minute walk (if that) from the hotel.

This is a beautiful modern hotel which my boyfriend and I stayed in with our friends back in December. The rooms were big, newly decked out and had everything we needed. We had a ground floor room where we could step down into the pool from our balcony which was devine. The staff were always polite and friendly and the food during breakfast was of a good standard. Railay is one of my favourite places we visited during Thailand so if you're thinking of adding a stop here during your travels, I would highly recommend it. It's a small place so it doesn't matter whether you find yourself on the East or West side as it is only a short five minute walk from one side to the other. The sunset as seen on Railay beach is up there as one of the most amazing sunsets I've ever seen! Enjoy!

We had clean new room 3rd floor, the kids loved the pool also clean, friendly staff, the hole resort is reconstructed and renovated.

Friendly and helpful staff. Poolsife rooms are nice and cosy although stylish. A fee finishing touches after construction needs a bit of rework, but overall great value for money.
