Been to Railay three times. My favourite hotel on Railay. Great value nice pool to sit around after a day at the beach Rooms are modern and a good size with balcony’s.

All are very nice and helpful. Our Highlight were the monkeys on our balcony:) super nice, great rooms and everything is really clean. We would definitely book here again.

The vibe is amazing. It's chilled, relaxing beautiful and sirene.

The hotel experience is good but the reception staff is very rude (Miss Azeemah) even after telling her continuously to speak to us calmly and she was rude through out. Will definitely not recommend the hotel to any of the international travellers.

The hotel is lavish and makes you feel like a valued guest and the Railay area is just beautiful. To get to Railay you must take a boat, which we didn't realise when booking the hotel. When speaking to the staff prior to visiting the hotel, they only made us aware of the private taxi and boat from the airport to the hotel, which would have cost us four times the amount of our actual means of transport which was a bus and shared longtail. I think making guests aware of their options is more professional and accomodating.

If I can give negative stars, I would. Don't be duped by this hotel. Superior Room is a scam — We have read about poor customer service in the reviews and they turn out to be very true. We booked the superior room for a total of two nights and ended up being forced to stay for one. After checking in and leaving our luggage in the room, we felt something was amissed. Then we informed the front desk officer that we have seen different pictures of the rooms on the site. The front desk officer told us "Agoda can put different beautiful pictures of the hotel on the website because they just want to sell. We didn't provide the pictures". I was shocked and asked to speak to the duty manager instead. The front desk officer then gave the worst attitude I have experienced and walked away. We explained to the duty manager that the room condition is not what we expected, and she insisted that we have the wrong expectations of the room. Our expectations was simply a clean room! I pointed to her how filthy the rooms and the bathroom were. There is blood stain on the toilet bowl, wet mold and rusty sink. Basically, there was dust and dirt everywhere, and even the remote controls of the television was covered with dust. I do not think the sheets were even changed before our arrival. We were informed that the only way they will move us is if we pay for an upgrade. We didn't think it was fair and the hotel changed tact to say they were full and they cannot do anything about the rooms.

Had a cocktail (Mojito) here during happy hour. Not really good, missed balanced flavour.

The place is more of a 4 star hotel for me, and given the exclusive location (Railay Beach is not accessible for anyone and you can lnly reach it by boat) the price is really nice (at least in July-Agoust if you use Agoda promotions). The place has 2 beaches and the only coctails in the beach that does not taste like if they have been made of gasoline (they are more expensive, that is true). The restaurant is a bit more expensive than avarege Thailand but you areclose to the rrstaurant streets (delicious). The best for me: There are two impressive swimming pools. One in a terrace facing the very green bay and mountains and one in the middle of the green, a very jungle-like pool. There are different rooms and we stayed in one with a nice bathtube (I admit the shower is not that great and the bath gets everyrhing wet, they should improve that). The hotel is beautiful, clean and everything is close. A good pick.

I was cheated by an attendant (janmila seryoh). The same one who "works" at the hotel's tour desk sold me a kayak trip in Talahase with dinner included. When I asked her where the transfer (taxi boat) would leave she informed me that she would leave the pier in front of the hotel and that everything was included in the rate (1700 baht). Well, 15 minutes before the scheduled time, I was on the pier waiting. Some time later, realizing that there was no boat, I returned to the hotel and the same attendant, took me to the pier and introduced me to his friend, charging me another 800 baht to take me to the other pier, which she says is where the ride would start. Obviously, I refused to pay this amount, because I had already paid the tour that "everything would be included and would leave the pier in front of the hotel. " When she asked me to give me back the money paid, since it was not done due to the employee's bad faith and misinformation, she said there would be no return. Asked to speak to management, Janmila said that the manager was off duty and together with another employee she laughed and made fun of the situation, even giving a chuckle, in a total demonstration of lack of respect. Anyway, I was robbed and humiliated by this employee who is totally unprepared and does not know how to do her job. I'm very upset and disappointed.

To choose a new pavilion, the room is relatively beautiful, the old Hall room is too dark, the pool has two, the hotel in the plant are very good. It takes 15 minutes for the hotel to disembark from the West Pier.

A lovely place with lovely staff, a great breakfast, two pools with beautiful views and next to the East Beach port. To the West Beach takes 5 minutes walking and this area is very quiet.

The location is excellent. Pleasant bright rooms, quality cleaning, but be prepared for the fact that the staff will not deal with smoking neighbours.

Beautiful hotel in breathtaking surroundings.
But: very poor and overpriced shuttle service (airport/hotel) + unfriendly manager and staff!
We had booked this service in advance, but we seem to have forgotten, had to wait a long time and then pay extra for the boat included in the price! On our complaint the manager reacted angrily and even threatened us!

Island is lovely. Hotel rather disappointing. Both my husband and I were ill and we are pretty sure it was the chicken in the restaurant. Several staff were often seen just messing around or doing nothing which is disappointing for a 4* hotel. The room was ok but air con was not great and bathroom felt unfinished. Swimming pool was lovely and island too.

We had a pleasant stay at the resort. Rooms are nice and clean. Service is very good even we had some problems with communication. We loved the pools and the view. It would be better if they had some more sun beds especially in the realm of shades. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety. Also drinks and food at the pool was good — I recommend a mixed fruit iced shake. We also has a massage at the resort. Compared to other places the price was quite high BUT so worth it. Good quality — she definitely knew what she was doing and she identified my issues within 30 seconds without me saying anything. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful hotel! The pools are well maintained and so beautiful, and everything screams 5-star hotel for an amazingly low price. It is a little confusing to get to the hotel, since you have to take a boat over, but it isn't too much of a hassle. The restaurant has really good food, and the breakfast was delicious! Highly highly recommend!

The beds its farm but the location is good. The beach is beautiful.

Great resort and a great location. Both pools are fabulous (if you can draw yourself away from the 3 beaches in the area). Hotel is comfortable, clean and rooms are a great size.

Two swimming pools with infinite view border, one facing the sea, another facing a beautiful lake and a spa room. Spacious rooms, with bathtub, shower and near the pier, which goes up and down according to the incredibly ever changing tide. Easy access to the other beaches and restaurants.

Just breakfast there, 700 baht for a huge buffet at will pretty good it must be admitted (it still hurts the purse)

I absolutely LOVED my stay at this resort! On an island where a ton of people come to visit each day by boat, it was fantastic to have our own little place to hideaway and enjoy the sun. The rooftop infinity pool was by far one of my favorite places on the property, with gorgeous water and landscape views, comfortable places to sit and enjoy the sun, and warm water to lounge in. The resort is located in a great area on the island, with easy access to all the other attractions. Incredibly helpful, friendly staff. AND AMAZING FOOD! The included breakfast exceeded all expectations and set a high precedent for the hotels that followed this one. Delicious, wide variety of food to meet every type of travelers needs. I usually do not stay in such high end places but I'm so happy that we had the chance to do so for several days… definitely felt like we were living in the lap of luxury while staying at this beautiful resort. Highly recommend getting a massage, too! We did facials + footscrubs and would highly recommend this service to anyone and everyone.

The service at the restaurant took over 10 minutes. While sitting we noticed two other tables get up and leave because no server had approached them. Only one room key is allowed even if multiple people are staying in the room. Their "tiramisu" lacks coffee/ espresso and really just turned out to be a cheesecake. The scenery of both pools though was very nice and clean, the jacuzzi isn't heated. Overall did not feel welcome here.

It does cost more than 110€ per night in Thailand which is a lot of money here. Believe me for less money you can find a five stars hotel in Asia even Europe. I have been there and I agree with most of the people, it doesn't match the price I paid for! Old forniture into the rooms, the name should be Railay Princess Resort & Massage not Spa, the costumer service is really bad even if someone in your family is sick and you need assistance in terms of medicine or whatever, power lines are almost over the swimming pool which is in front of the beach, My room was also in the last building of the complex therefore I had to walk 5 minutes to get out anytime crossing some kind of lake which smells very bad. They bring me food a couple of times into the room and for a rice soup they didn't provided cutlery the first time and for the second one they provided me a fork instead a spoon, also they had gave me a wrong change with 20bahts less, etc… and more over you have to pay the hotel one month before your arrival and seeing the hotel for me it doesn't make sense. I would like to don't recommend at all!

The stuff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and we have noticed that the maintenance was made everyday. Breakfast had a variety of choices. The food in the evening was ok, but I wouldn't recommend the Thai food with sauces. The bathroom had a bad smell that was coming from the pipes. The first day it had some aromatherapy and we didn't noticed it. But the other days we felt the horrible smell.
Overall we liked it. Nice and lovely place.

Green flowers are good, very clean, there are now and Thai Phoenix combination of the three-storey building. Good location, just over the sea. Restaurant food Delicious, price is not expensive, afternoon good leisurely drink coffee, looking at the sea double tide, red forest is too beautiful.

The hotel is good but nothing special. Breakfast is plentiful but not very good. The room is comfortable but without grace. The bathroom is mediocre. The pools are normal, the best of the two would be very good if you had better view but there are many trees and a tower with electric transformers right across the street.

The place is fine but it's not for throwing rockets either. The room where I was was big and it was fine, the pool is beautiful and if you are lucky you can find a lizard, it has a basic gym where I went to run a rainy day (pity of the air conditioner to full), good food although expensive and free buffet for All the breakfast tastes. The bad thing I find in the price of the taxi, 30 euros from Krabi airport to resort I think a scam. We took it because we arrived at 7 pm and did not want to have problems with the schedule, but on the way back we took a boat for 100 baths. Another thing I did not like was the mess that there is and the clutter in the facilities when it rains. The employees disappeared and everything was a mess. To the place for his price he lacked professionalism.

I was charged 250 Baht. By the mere fact that I turned a cup of tea into a hand towel. Gentlemen an accident like that happens to any human being. The worst of it is the time to check out. The cleaning staff comes out with the towel in your hand (like a trophy) showing you in front of all the guests. Please more discretion and education to your staff. They boast a lot of being three stars. I do not recommend.

Rooms are great for the price. If the staff gets lazy the director will address the problem then there will be no problem. The breakfast is incredibly diversified. Top quality Simply there are lower and higher prices stays on the island but for your money this is a great place. Enjoy!

My husband and I stayed here for three days. Good service and helpful staffs. Good location.

My review is average positive especially considering the price. A place where only the most suntigliosi can be retold. Let's say it looks better than it actually is but it is advisable. A note is for the background noises like pumps and generators always on. At the restaurant we ordered a fish basket and the result from Italian is obviously criticized. The rest was good.

I am so so very angry with them. First of all there is no direct access to this hotel and one needs to walk through dodgy lanes to get there. Never mind that's not their fault. I have a pleasant welcome and check-in experience. The room I was given was great to start with. And that where all the good about the hotel came to a full stop. I visited the toilet to check it out and I was aghast. Last thing one wants to see is a discolored WC and sink. I mean it was yucky. Then I went to the patio to breath as I needed to get out of the toilet which was horrible and to my utter disgust just opposite to me is a sewage treatment plant and the whole place was reeking of explosive foul gaseous odor. Barely being able to breathe I called the reception requesting a room change while explaining why — this I was give after a little wait which is acceptable. But somehow with an initial bad experience I just wanted to make sure everything was in order so I started checking the room closely. Sadly in seconds I discovered that the bedding was so so dirty with stains and long hair from the previous occupant I guess was still there. I seriously started wondering about the hygiene of this place. That was it — I could not stay here. I decided to leave even though I did not know where to go. So I got back to the front desk and requested them to refund me back my 2 nights charges that I paid at check-in and I would like to leave.

Nice hotel, beautiful room with a lot of space and cute balcony. Staff are smiling and kind. Great breakfast with a lot of choice. There are two pools, one in nature and one on the rooftop.

Value for money… Breakfast is decent. Tom is clean and spacious. My only complain is that the rooms are not well lit. It is so dark, you don't want to do anything but sleep.

Not bad for the price paid. Love the balcony and the green. Amazing 2 swimming pool! Good breakfast! But the shower was no good toilet felt dirty perhaps because it's old. A lot of mosquito (not hotel fault it's just Railay in general). Enjoyed our stay but don't think we will be back in this hotel again.

Good location, literally right at the end of the floating pier, and quite central for getting around Railay. Rooms were nice and clean, and the facilities were in good condition. The rooftop pool has a nice view.

The hotel is nice and clean. Staff are kind and most understand English. It os located right off the east coast pier of the island which makes is extremely easy opposed to walking by foot to all the other resorts. Also has late night room service with a wide menu, an important thing on this island that closes up pretty early in the night. Lovely pool and extremely big rooms.

The whole class and the number were changed, because before that was the first floor, and we wanted higher. Minus one noisy air conditioner.

It's not a bad place and it's so close to the two beaches so a good place to use as basis to explore the area. Breakfast was ok too. Only the staff were not very helpful.

During low season staying here was nice, since we had the pool (s) all to ourselves. The staff isn't very friendly or attentive, we asked for a top floor room but received a 2nd floor one, though tue hotel was nowhere near full. Breakfast is rather mediocre with your usual pancakes, toast and eggs, plus some hot options (some sort of meat, rice, sausages, ham), that's about it. You only get 2 bottles of water a day. Would probably be overpriced on high season, not really a 4 star experience in my opinion.

The infinity pool is amazing!

The room was clean if not a bit Spartan. The bed was comfortable, staff friendly, and the food was pretty good. Pools were nice. The Wi-Fi in the room sucked, although on the deck or in the lobby/restaurant, it worked pretty well.

We spent 3 days 2 nights in Railay Princess Resort & Spa last December 2015. To begin with, the over-all natural beauty of beach in Krabi are exceptional from the bad experience we had from this hotel. It was bad experience for me and my friends because of very poor customer service and bad treatment from the Manager. During our 1st night, 2 of my friends suffered from bed bug bites from their standard rooms so the following morning we made a complaint and they offered to transfer to a new room with free dinner and free laundry. The inflammation of bed bug bites of one of my friend was pretty bad that day and she opted to go to the only doctor in the island. It was very annoying experience that during the last day, the Manager did not treat the situation very seriously. And only after we left the island, the Manager sent us an email that he did not “believe” that it was a bed bug bites and he gave his personal conclusions just to reason out. It was so disappointing that he insisted not to pay 100% full refund. We are not asking too much but we just reiterated to him that he must take the bed bugs seriously in their room as “health risks” to avoid guests suffering of itchiness and skin inflammation. They should clean their rooms and change all their pillows and mattresses. The only inclusive request we had is 100% full refund of the doctor’s bill and atleast give the free accommodation specific for my friend after all the bad experiences.

Rooms are clean and comfortable (the fridge might be a bit noisy). Staff is very polite and assisting. Because of my gals birthday they arranged a delicious chocolate birthday cake and presented it while singing — sweet! Breakfast (incl. ) was nice and got everything I'de expect from Thailand. The pool on the roof is often crowded and the view is not very nice (no beach or rainforest but dirty water and old/broken trees). But the garden pool is awesome and so cosy — unfortunately we never met any pool guy to ask for drinks — so we've got the by ourselves just a minute ago on the restaurant bar — not really an issue. Right around the hotels area in the west there are two beaches that are fine enough for a day at the beach side.

This place is a mess, terrible service, the worst Wi-Fi, counter staff is useless. It's a nightmare that spoiled my rest at Krabi.

SUPER nice room for the price. pond and pool area is also well presented. They're performing a renovation on the front so that will change the spot, likely for the better.
