The location is perfect. The hotel has a friendly, almost family atmosphere. Everything is very clean and tidy. Our requests were immediately responded to. The whole building is a bit crooked and winding, but that's what makes the charm!

Room rather small and no aircon, no electric kettle, otherwise very clean and pleasant. I was there to support my son doing the Ironman and it was very convenient for that.

Pathetic The room was of the size approx 9 feet by 9 feet Which is close to the size of my bathroom in Mumbai For a family, there is barely a place to stand in the room It claims to be a 3 star Doubt, who got it accredited and how? It's a sloppy place The windows in the room have to be kept closed since hell of mosquitoes will enter the room There is no ceiling fan nor air conditioner in the room Meaning that in summer time in Zurich — one has no choice but to get suffocated inside the room and windows cannot be opened paranoid with the fear of mosquitoes There is no ventilation inside the room This hotel is no good It has weird things such as after 11.00 pm front desk and hotel is shut down and no staff will attend after 11.00 pm.

The Seegarten was an extremely pleasant place to stay in Zurich, just steps from the opera and from the lake. The rooms are pleasant (if not large). Big, beautiful windows. The breakfast is served downstairs in a lovely room surrounded by windows, and is plentiful and tasty. The staff is helpful and nice. There are safes in the rooms and the Wi-Fi is fast and dependable. One tiny quibble: no bar soap in the bathroom. (I prefer bar soap to liquid. )

The staff at this hotel are just wonderful (two ladies in reception are really helpful and the restaurant staff really make sure they fuss over you at breakfast)! I was travelling alone for work, and even though my room was a single room and quiet modest, the hotel was very clean and it really did feel homely. Nothing beats feeling looked after! Danke! (And the location is great).

Great location, great breakfast services, great room services and the most important part is the staff and reception there are really kind, lovely and helpful! Love it so much and appreciate for all those surprises and servives! Thanks! My wife and myself were very much enjoyed during our stay :) Definitely will return to stay at Hotel Seegarten again for the next Zurich trip, value for money absolutely :)

Everything perfect: unpretentious, clean, friendly, great breakfast, good location, nice, excellent value.

The location is one block off Lake Zurich and a few blocks walking distance to a train station. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic including meats, cheeses, cereals, breads, yogurts, fruit, juices and coffee. The front desk staff goes out of their way to answer your questions and help in any way they can. We did not eat at the on site restaurant but it looks great and they were busy every evening. The room was spotless, but small… my only complaint would be that there is no where to unpack and put your clothes, so if you are staying a long time and want to get settled in that might be a problem.

The hotel was ideal in every way — except lack of air con which means we did not sleep on either night! I would not have booked had I known.

Situated in a great location within walking distance of the city but undisturbed by the Zurich traffic, both vehicles age pedestrian. Room was comfortable and well furnished. Breakfast was a nice buffet, with the option to sit on the veranda outside. The staff were friendly and polite. The only drawbacks are that the top floors get very hot during summer and parking is quite difficult.

Ein sehr schönes, gemütliches Hotel. Hier und dort knarzt mal ne Diele, aber sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und man fühlt sich gleich wohl. Die Lage ist ideal: 1 Minuten bis zum See und die Oper und Innenstadt in Laufweite. Bus und Straßenbahn sind auch leicht zu erreichen. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen. Ich würde hier sofort wieder übernachten!

Nice small hotel, which boasts a very good restaurant with possibility of eating room. Garni, varied and very good breakfast.

A delightful hotel for spending a few days in Zurich and very convenient for the old city. Car parking, either in the street (free from 4 p. M. Saturday and all-day Sunday) or a nearby underground car park, was no problem. The room was small but comfortable. The bathroom was perhaps a little too small for those beyond a certain age but presented no real problems. The staff are most obligingly helpful and the restaurant is so good that we never even thought about eating elsewhere. Should we ever return to Zurich, we shall again stay at the Seegarten.

I have stayed here each time I visited Zurich with one exception: I came back and have never left. This hotel feels like "home, " which if you travel a lot is really nice. The team is wonderful, and as noted the restaurant is also very good. I would recommend this to anyone looking to relax and feel at home in Zurich.
