We are often in the bar and restaurant of the steigenbergers. For one, the food and drinks are absolutely top class. Absolute taste explosions in the form of more common menus or small delicacies.
In addition, the staff is in absolute top form every day. In particular, Mr. Tube is to be mentioned. He enchants every night and every guest. At this point thank you very much for all the unforgettable moments.
On the other hand, the view of Zurich and the lake is of course also to be mentioned. A wonderful ambience is rounded off with the wonderful service: an exclusivity of Zurich's taste!

I was invited to meet at a BNI Seefeld and I am thankful for the many positive conversations I was allowed to take with me.

Top location, very good, friendly and professional service, excellent prepared food, visually perfect presented in optimum quantity, great compliment to all those responsible.

Excellent location, wonderful staff. Some interesting foibles around facility availability after 2200, and with pre-booking breakfast, but overall, would go back happily.

Hotel décor is taste thing. The staff are very friendly and professional. The breakfast is very tasty and varied. The location is quiet and yet very central with views of the Zürisee.

Great staff, rooms are fantastic, 6/10 recommend. Gym is a little bare with no weights, only 3 cardio machines but if that doesn't bother you I cannot recommend enough.

The Lake View is amazing, especially in the evening when the opposite shore is lit. If you are lucky you can spot the cruise liner in full lighting. Rooms have floor heating, bathroom nicely integrated into the bedroom, loads storage room for longer stays.

Lovely spacious room and clean bathroom functional and correct breakfast low service charming, so good hotel and well located.

Nice and comfortable hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast served is nice. Only issue is the ‘gym’ advertised is a small room with 3 bikes and a ball, otherwise a nice hotel with a lovely view of the lake.

What a rip off. Sure the hotel is a nice old building in a great setting. The room large but odd use of space. The staff very nice. However 85 CHF for a small cot with several cross braces missing for a 14 year old is a crime.

Cozy and quaint… a bit to be desired in terms of decor and amenities… but almost there. Location near lake makes it worth the lack of that extra something…

A comfortable lake-side hotel, only 10 minutes' walk from central Zurich, with a lake view. Well appointed, 20s style rooms with beds in the continental style of dual-mattress/duvets. Breakfast bar-buffet with large range of local Swiss meats and cheeses, alongside staples like cereals make this a hard thing to walk away from! Fresh honeycomb is also available. Food in the restaurant is good quality with some interesting flavour combinations (fish rolled in nuts with red cabbage) but delicious nonetheless. Would highly recommend; also with excellent staff.

We stayed at the Steigenberger for two nights. We booked this hotel because it has 4 stars, but when we arrived, we were frustrated and confused as to how this hotel gets its ratings. Here are the things that we disliked: 1. We booked a room with Zurich Card. At the check in desk, they were surprised about the Zurich card… we had to come back later to pick it up. The staff is not on top of the bookings — we don't need to remind a 4 star hotel what we paid for. 2. Rooms are very old and simple. The heating is poor. It was below 20F outside and the room was really chilly. 3. These days a 4 star hotel offers a tiny TV (almost a mini size). We stayed in many hotels around the world and even starless hotels had bigger TVs. 4. Bed was very uncomfortable (very hard mattress) What we liked — the view from the balcony on Zurich Lake.

Out of the airport straight to the hotel, Switzerland impression of hotel was good, the room is not very big, but very clean, service was good, staff able to communicate in German, very convenient.

Lake is the top address in Zurich to the night, directly at the Zurich.

Good hotel. Gym a bit small but otherwise recommended.

The menu sounds promising. The implementation could not match but clear expectations. The food was alternately bored or verwürzt, the meat dry and partially cold.
Actually, I'm sorry. The courts have potential and the view of the Lake is beautiful.
