While the room was clean and comfortable, the overnight guy was awkward and didn’t seem to know what he was doing during our early morning checkout. We were charged FOUR TIMES for our room for the one night. While heading back to Victoria, I checked my credit card we had been using for our week long travel, and found that not only had they charged us four times, but that we now had no credit for the ferry home. I was on the phone for nearly three hours between my credit card and the hotel, trying to get things resolved and just kept getting told I had to wait 3-5 business days. Sorry, I don’t have 3-5 days to wait to get home! I was trying to keep all expenses for our trip exclusively on our credit card and ended up using cash for the ferry instead as the $600 had used up the available credit, instead of only being $145!
Two days later and it’s still not resolved. Manager hasn’t called me in those two days, even though I had requested they call me, as my credit card company wants THEM to call with the transaction codes to release the hold and the overcharges. Very angry at their poor customer service on this matter and will never be staying with them or any other locations and will be telling all my family and friends and stay far, far away from them.

Nice hotel for an overnight stop. Hotel is comfortable, clean and we'll kept. Large rooms, standard free breakfast (waffles, scrambled eggs etc). Plentiful parking. Town is nasty, filled with lumber mills and the industrial smell and endless truck traffic.

Tidy. Easy access on both sides of the building. A competent night staff who were friendly and very helpful. Reasonably priced and well kept rooms. All in all a pleasant stay.

Clean rooms, good customer service. We had problems with our AC on a hot day and we were offered another room. The building is old as are the windows and air conditioning. Overall a good stay.

Clean hotelI use anytime I'm going through quesnel. It's not fancy, but it's clean and they do a decent breakfast.

Pulling up, the hotel looked a bit worn on the outside. However, the room I was in and the breakfast room were updated. Staff were also friendly. The Wi-Fi worked well which was important to me. The gym is a pretty small room with only a couple prices of equipment. The breakfast was decent with scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, muffins and a waffle maker. The noise from the highway was noticeable throughout the night so I put on some white noise which helped a bit. The bed was comfortable and the TV is a flatscreen. The parking lot was a bit odd as you have to come in off the highway but leave out the back on a residential road. In the end I would recommend it for a single traveller.

Good breakfast, nice spa room. They were actually deep cleansing the rooms by carpet shampooing, washing walls, etc. When we went. Its was nice to know they actually do this annually.

Went to the area for a hockey tournament. The best part of this hotel by far is the breakfast!. The worst things about this hotel is the horrible dollar store air freshener smell all through the hotel giving us huge headaches all weekend not sure what smell they are trying to hide. Rooms are not cleaned proper. My 7 year old son found a broken crack pipe still with residue inside it beside the bed picked it up and went mom what is this?!?! I immediately took it to the front counter the lady working the counter asked me what it is I told her and all she did was throw it in the garbage. HELLO do I not get an apology or anything what if my son did something else with That!.

It's clean and quite and found for the price I paid it was a deal. I have paid a lot more for a lot less.

Great place to stay with your pet. Always stay there. Great desk help. Clayton was his name kudos.

This is an older two storey hotel along the highway, not a motel since it has indoor hallways but definetly has that feel. Rooms are okay, bathroom has an updated granite counter. Bed was okay, air conditioner in room was very old and a bit noisy. My room had a kitchenette which is convenient. The place just feels kind of sketchy, maybe it's the other quests I've encountered.

Rooms were spacious. Non of the ice machines worked.

Rooms were very clean and modern, and the staff was friendly.

Very pleasant front desk staff, rooms were clean and comfortable. Only detractor was the half sized pillows provided. Other than that it was a great stay.

Hotel was clean but noisy. Not happy with their policies. We stayed 1 night and paid cash at checkout. They kept the hold on our credit card upon checkout. They said it was booking. Com who had a hold on our credit card. I work front desk. I know this not booking. Com.

From the moment I checked in and Megan helped me get to a room I knew this would be a place to return to. Clean rooms. Pleasant staff. Excellent service. I came back again on my way from Alaska and got a repeat performance. You will enjoy your stay here. I did!

Excellent room with a kitchenette, and very friendly staff! The refrigerator was very large for a hotel suite, and the hot breakfasr is always a plus!

I had great experiences the last 2 times I stayed here. But now dealing with their customer service I will never go back. I booked a room through a third party website for June 5th to go and visit my father. Sadly my father passed away last week. So when I called to cancel my room they said I had to call the third party, so I did. I explained the situation to them and they were willing to waive the cancellation fee but said that Quality Inn wasn't. So I called them and explained the situation to them. The refused to let me cancel the room without paying for it first. That's $90 when I am already completely broke now from paying for my fathers funeral and make travel arrangements to be up there for his it. I was planning on staying with them again when I came up for the funeral but now that's out of the question.

I delivered food to a guy staying at the facility. It was a bit confusing but the lady working was very helpful. If the guy had stayed in his room and waited for his food to arrive it would have been a better experience. It was a wild goose chase to end my night.

Very clean nice rooms and great breakfast.

Great price, pet friendly. Good complimentary breakfast. Scrambled eggs, make your own waffles, cereal, fruit, muffins… instant coffee though. $119 with a kitchenette and 2 queen beds.

Great good service at desk has a fitness room open early am comfortable rooms.
