I've gone there twice. The first time was okay. I didn't expect a palace. I was looking for an inexpensive room and both times the room was decent and clean. The 2nd time the bed was not fit for a human being. It belongs in the dump and I'm not exagerating or villianizing like many people do on reviews. In this industry a decent bed is something you have to provide, if nothing else. At least the 2 young people at the office were very nice.

You certainly get what you oay for. Not very clean, no TP and it was as if the highway ran right through the room all night. The first room stank of stale cigarettes triggering allergies and the manager argued with me that there is no smoking in the room.

Discriminating against persons with disabilities. My mother and sister tried to book a room for the night at this motel. My mother went in and paid for the room and went out to the car to help my sister who uses a walker. The owner of the hotel went out and asked my mother to come back in to the office. At that time he told my mother that they couldn't stay there because my sister was "mentally challenged" and would wreck the room. Well, my sister is in no way "mentally challenged". She has a physical disability which she relies on a walker for mobility. My mother was outraged and demanded a full refund. This is disgusting behavior from the staff of this motel and I am asking everyone to not stay here on principle only.

Friendly owner. We had a kitchenette. It was older but clean and a good size with a separate bedroom from the main room. And the price was good. Also good free coffee in the morning. The Wi-Fi was a decent speed and it never cut out like many other places. I would stay here again.

Very friendly staff and excellent hospitality for a cheap price. Rooms were clean and whenever we needed something we could call the staff and they would be ready to help. Had a great time and would definitely stay there again if I go back to Quesnel.

Was a clean, decent, warm room to spend a few nights. Old but does the job just fine. Nice owner, affordable, and the continental breakfast was appreciated.

Stayed here multiple times. Great cheap motel that has the best rates in town. Rooms are sometimes a little rough around the edges but always kept clean and don't have that musty smell most cheap rooms do. Friendly staff who are very accomadating and have literally woken up at 4:30am to book me a bed for the night while passing through travelling for work.

Rooms are clean and have an older feel to them. The staff iis exceptional the gentleman at the front was extremely accommodating and I would return here for the exceptional service he offered.

Very clean rooms and great atmosphere at front desk thank you for a great stay so we didn't have to drive back to Nazko in such bad weather.

Excellent motel. Very clean. Staff is exceptional. The gentlemen at the front desk was more than accommodating in everything I requested. Stayed her for three nights with 2 1-year olds, and had no issues. We will definitely be back.

A bit old but ok for a budget motel. Very nice owner who cares for his guests.

Room is run down, pretty old and smells badly. Can't identify what smell it is. Bathroom is even older and not clean. Toilet is not fixed on the ground.

Really nice personnel. Roadside location should be considered before stopping there (didn't disturb me too much). Bathrooms could use slight improvements or upgrades.

I stayed here for a few weeks actually… While I was waiting to move into an apartment I had rented for the next month. When it came time for me to leave the manager called me into his office, proceeded to accuse me of stealing his motel towels and replacing them with identical towels from home. I told him that I absolutely did not do any such thing and that the accusation was absurd! Now, the reason I think he had made up such a ridiculous accusation was so that he could keep the $100 damage deposit I had given him when I moved into the motel room. Which he did. I did not steal his towels and I most definitely did not replace them with identical towels (which I just happened to have sitting in my storage unit waiting for a chance like this! Lol. ) from home. I am on income assistance at the moment and losing that deposit made me come up short for the damage deposit I needed to rent my apartment. Because of this, I lost the apartment. The guy is a crook! Do not stay here unless you want to be robbed! I recently tried to go and visit a friend who is staying at the Gold Pan and was actually told that I was not allowed on the property…! Why? You ask? Because I am a towel stealer, and replacer apparently. The guy is a creep who targets females staying at the motel alone… And gets angry when you don't take him up on his offers to come and "talk" with him when you have some time!? Get a life!

Comfortable, Clean and reasonable rates with complimentary Wi-Fi and breakfast! Awesome stay!

Staff were very friendly, and the bedding was clean. On the other hand, the room REEKED of smoke, the train noise was unbelievable, and the ceiling was peeling.
