Fantastic location, great and friendly staff, and very authentic.

Central hotel perfect for living the city, hearty breakfast with ample choice, warm rooms furnished in style, small bath… essential (although perhaps too small. It's all extremely measured) cmq very good.

Too bad. Very small rooms. Nothing recommended does not correspond to the published photos. Carpet in bad condition with unpleasant smell, no air conditioning and broken windows. Pillows are requested and do not have them. Comparable to a shabby or similar hostel. The location was great and the breakfast was good. Please choose another hotel, the price tb very expensive for what it offers. I. E. Nothing.

Clean hotel. Nice welcome. Small room. In short to sleep only it's top. We liked it very much.

Old, decadent hotel. It’s quite comfy with a useful central location but it really needs a refresh: remove moquette, renew bathrooms, add air conditioning to rooms.
Good breakfast but space is scarce.

Warning: Totally dusted! Mold in the bath and a milk that expired two weeks at the breakfast buffet complete the picture. Friendly staff, otherwise not even a star would be appropriate here …

Very central. In a quiet street. The rooms are in an old style but big and clean. Breakfast is varied and good quality.

A beautiful hotel in the heart of Wein! Walking distance to many great historical churches and buildings. Plentiful and delicious breakfast. Comfortable rooms and friendly, helpful staff. No air conditioning but we were comfortable during our stay in June.

Positive: Very central. Rooms are old, unkempt. Chandelier slanted, partly defective. We were received by an unfriendly and demotivated woman.

Really nice staff, and it is as central as can get, and it is affordable for its location; however the lack of air-conditioning turned our room into a sauna, so you might want to keep that in mind if you are considering to book this hotel in the the height of summer.

Lovely hotel with old empire charm, big rooms and great breakfast. Walking distance from main attractions, and the rest is a short taxi ride away. We particularly enjoyed the authentic antique decoration of the rooms.

Pertschy is very centrally located with an old world charm. It is in an old palace and our double room was huge. There was an entry-way with shelves that are great for staging stuff. This led into a large room on the left which was a sitting area and bedroom with high ceilings. The sitting area on the left which was a great reading area. The sitting area was set off from the bedroom space by a wall. On the bedroom side was an ample double bed, desk, table, fridge, tv. Etc. The high ceilings were decorated with chandeliers and filigree. There was a small WC with mini-sink, and a larger bathroom with bath, shower and magnifying mirrors. There is a mirror light but it is inside the mirror cabinet! While there wasn't a coffee/tea making area in the room, the lobby served hot drinks in a modern machine dispensing espresso, coffees, tea, hot chocolate, etc for free. The lobby also has a computer for checking on events, confirming reservations and printing out boarding passes, etc. There elevator is in the courtyard, so can be a bit chilly in winter, but the stairs are a throwback to the palace days; it seems we were walking where princes and princesses trod. The buffet gourmet breakfast was outstanding. The wide variety of fresh pastries, meats, eggs, rolls, bread, jams, etc were excellent. Reception staff very super friendly, helpful, and had a good sense of humor. A great place if you want a centrally located hotel, only 1/2 a block from the Graben, 2 blocks from St.

Nice hotel of the period well located in the center of Vienna. Welcoming rooms and decorated in a retro theme quite well connected with the city. Friendly and attentive staff. On the other hand, everything is paid in the rooms including the water bottle from 50 cl to 3, €70. The breakfast is certainly a choice but of an average quality.

The location is very good and the furniture.

I have been a guest in this House several times and will be happy to stay there again and again. The rooms are frumpy but clean. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

A very old hotel in the center of Vienna. Very nice ambience. Most of the tourist destinations in vienna are at a walkable distance from here. Provides free breakfast. Checkout time is 11.00am There is option to keep your luggage after the checkout also.

We stayed there for 4 days this June. Great location, friendly helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast. No A/C in the rooms but open windows and a fan helped. Thankfully the weather wasn't too hot while we were there.

We had a wonderful week's stay here at the end of January. The staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. There is an amazing array of fine foods at breakfast including various fruits, cereals, yogurt, bread, rolls, jams, honey, cold meats, bacon, eggs, and delicious cakes (my personal favourites! ). Something for everyone whether you are looking for healthy options or something slightly more indulgent. Our room was a good size, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. The hotel is in a very central location within a few minutes walk of The Hofburg and The Spanish Riding School. If you like cakes then Demel's, Hotel Sacher (for the original Sachertorte) Aïda and Gerstner are also within easy walking distance. There are buses from just up the street that take you to Stephansplatz or Schwedenplatz U stations if you don't fancy walking. Thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Clean, comfortable and everything that we were hoping for. Ideal location to visit the Xmas markets and a helpful staff who helped us find the hidden treasures of Vienna.

Best location; close to everything but far enough to be quiet. Amazing staff and service. We had a family room; very spacious, clean and comfortable. Everything is thought of without the need to ask from shaving cream to toothpaste to qtips pre placed for your comfort. keep in mind this is an 18th century style and decor so if one likes modern decor with ikea style cut and shaved clean then this hotel is not for you.

Location cannot be beat in terms of being close to everything. Interior of rooms and hallways needs updating and repair… it's a bit shabby. Also, the bathrooms are strange and every room is different, at least in terms of design (size and shape). Rooms on the back of the building have poor to no Wi-Fi. Breakfast is stellar! Service is friendly and accommodating.

I arrived here Saturday and can't fault the room or the staff, room was clean and the staff were very friendly. Although the first 2 nights I couldn't sleep due to the noise from the adjacent guest, in the end I emailed the hotel (yes I am not one for complaining) to explain my concerns when I arrived back to the hotel after the morning out they offered me another room which they allowed me to view first. I have successfully transitioned to the new room and feel confident of a better night's sleep. Much grattitude goes out to the lovely ladies who helped me and I really hope I didn't cause too much of an inconvenience to them. By far the rooms are wonderful and the breakfast is of much choice including fruit juices, fresh fruit, cereals and some hot food and tea and coffee. Not to mention the unlimited coffee/tea in the lobby believe me you won't miss not having drinks facilities in the room as you can't visit Vienna and not be out all the time and the unlimited tea and coffee is a marvellous idea. Free Wi-Fi too is a bonus. Thanks to all the staff for being AMAZING.

The best thing is the location which is almost unbeatable. To the interior is a hotel old, the Wi-Fi not works in the rooms and all makes noise to others not has air conditioning and in summer can do much heat, regular in relationship quality-price.

You can't find a better location! Look at the map, easy walk to so many great places. Half a block from the Graben for late night strolls and street food. St Stephan's and so many other beautiful churches, Habsburg Palace, museums, shops and of course Wien's fabulous public transport, the subway and trolleys, We loved staying here. It is NOT 5 star luxe or modern, but it is 5 stars worth of convenience. We found it very comfortable. Breakfast is included and it is excellent.

Top Hotel in the city of Vienna.

The location of the hotel is excellent. You couldn't be in a niceer part of Vienna. All attractions are on your doorstep. I was however less impressed of the room interiors. From the booking site I was expecting a 4 star room which in reality was more a basic b&b interior. All is very clean but wallpapers, carpet and furniture appear to be from the early 80s.
