Great views of the river and Southbank 👍

ALMOST perfect. 8.5/10. We stayed at Ibis Styles Elizabeth Street for 1 night recently and very difficult to fault the place at all. Check in was fast and efficient, as an Accor Plus member we received the priority check in experience which was absolutely wonderful to breeze through this sometimes tiring process. The room was very comfortable and the floor to ceiling window showing gorgeous views of the Brisbane River and Southbank is absolutely unrivalled. The location is incredibly difficult to beat, you literally walk out the door and turn left into the Myer Centre. We only experienced a couple of issues at this hotel and I do hope Ibis and Accor will take this as the constructive criticism that it is and improve things in future. Issue number 1, we called the hotel directly to book, we specified very clearly that we required the bedding configuration to be 2 single beds in the room and the hotel assured us that this would be done. 1 night before check in, we did our online check-in and again specified the need for 2 single beds. We arrive at the hotel the next day and we have 1 king bed. A quick call to reception and they did send someone up quite quickly to sort this out, but it seems there's a few communication issues that could be tightened up. After a long journey we just wanted to get to our room and relax. We decided to head down to lunch while the bedding issue was sorted and use our drinks vouchers.

Location is great with striking views. Our room is compact but cleverly designed. Very new and clean and comfortable. Easy walk to Main Street shopping and next door to the casino, if that’s your thing. Will certainly book here again.

cafes and shops and a 10 min walk to QPAC! The staff were really helpful! The room was pristine, modern and really funky in design! The view from our room on the 19th floor was epic! 100% will be staying again!

Such an awesome time spent there. It was my girlfriend and I 1 year anniversary. I added a note to add something special and you guys had a balloon, card and wine bottle ready when we walked in. Definitely coming back here again. Staff are friendly, rooms are very nice for the price they are.

This is a great hotel and staff here are always very helpful. Even though their awesome buffet breakfast is on hiatus at the moment, the breakfast is still very good and great coffee too.

Super luxurious comfy beds, spacious and spotless bathrooms. Spectacular view over the river, the treasury building across the road makes for a good view too. Particularly like how you can ring your meal order through from your room and they call when it's ready for pick up, well priced and yummy food. Really couldn't fault our stay. Will return.

I only opted for a cheap room, and it was better then expected. Good value, clean, comfy king bed, good aircon, good shower etc. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we're very accommodating allowing us to leave our bags with them before the room was ready, and also after we checked out (having a flight later that evening). The only suggestion for improvement: the blinds are slightly too narrow, so the morning sun will creep through one side or the other.

Excellent location, clean and comfortable room, beautiful view on the city and river, very good buffet breakfast. I have not a single detail to complain about. Special mention for the staff who have been so nice and helpful.

The hotel I booked didn't understand that I was arriving at 2:30 am and didn't process my early check-in, so I ended with no room to stay. Fortunately, I am familiar with the Ibis hotels and manage to find this one. The lady at the front desk was more than helpful. The room itself had a spectacular view of the water and the city. Clean and nice facilities and superb service.

Clean room, good view from the room, and good location. The toiletries are basic, no tooth brush and comb. I had problems with the laundry as my clothes were not picked up and the following day I had to check out. Thanks to Michelle who assured me that the laundry would be done before I went to airport.

Loved the phone system when you call. I believe her name was Michelle. She couldn't have made me feel more welcome if she tried. I was even invited for guest drinks in the restaurant. The only thing I did not care for was not being told about credit card fee when paying and the extra 50.00 for room deposit which does not show on the invoice. I only found out looking at my credit card statement as I had never received so when I called I found out. Should have been total disclosure this would not stop me from staying there again. Great room with view of river very comfy bed. Just a good experience all in all.

Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception, who misinformed me twice today: city go card is NOT valid for the airport train, and it is NOT refundable. Best intentions are often not enough, as the story goes! The hotel itself is rather good though. Window view, location and breakfast were excellent. No wardrobe in the room, dark bathroom and noise from the street every night were not. Ironing set was a pleasant surprise for a conference delegate!

The Ibis Styles Hotel is excellent. It is in a great location in the centre of the city. It is a short walk to the shops, transport and the river. Our room was not large, however it was just right for the two of us. It has a very bright bathroom and an accessible shower. There is a good size safe available to store all your valuables. The only problem you may encounter is a lack of storage space for clothing. Our room featured panoramic views (even from our bed) of the Brisbane River through floor to ceiling windows. The staff are very friendly and we had a very nice dinner in the hotel restaurant — The Social. We would definitely stay at the Ibis Styles again.

The user experience is very poor and I will never come back to live again. The location is very good and the room is clean, I don't deny it.
However, in handling the incident, the reception staff were very poor, and I suspect there are serious racial discrimination. I have no other room to choose from when I book a room, and I leave a message to the hotel saying that according to the guests ' request, every room I reserve needs two single beds.
When I came to the guest room, I saw that all the rooms I had booked were big beds, and when I called for a bed or room swap, the receptionist was told to charge 20 Australian dollars. I said I had a message when I booked the booking. "All requirements single bed" hotel did not pay any heed to my message, the hotel lobby manager through the telephone attitude is particularly poor to say "want to split the price of the bed, we are here, you love to live. " "And I was interrupted by the words of the front office manager when I told you the special conditions I had made. Just kept saying, " We want to divide the bed to add 20 AUD "20 AUD is a very small number, I choose to add money to the bed in order not to increase the annoyance of travel,
But I must accuse the hotel of such a bad attitude and irresponsible treatment.

I was lucky enough to get the river view. The view is bloody awesome. (Also, on my first night, Brisbane treated me with a 30min lightning storm, which made my stay even more memorable. ) The downside of the room, there is no closet. Not a big deal since I leave my clothes in the suitcase.

This hotel is great for a short stay as it is in a great central location. Price wise it's pretty cheap but you get what you pay for — a small room and bathroom to make your stay comfortable enough but no minibar. Overall a good option when travelling alone for business or short stays.

I spent some nice time away with my wife here. I ended up with a top floor room, nice and clean, great view and the breakfast the next day was very nice. Couldn't really ask for anything else.

Top location! Kingsize room with river view highly recommended. Really quiet and comfy, interior is 4-star! Breakfast reasonably cheap but coffee wasn't great at all. One star less for not being able to organize an airport shuttle service as the train station is a bit of a walk with heavy luggage. Great value for money!

Room was quite small, but perfect for a short work trip. Clean, funky and modern with a commensurate price tag. Also a great location. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again for a future work trip — but not the place for the family vacation.

One of the best views in Brisbane. We had the corner room with floor to ceiling views over Southbank and then city views as well with the side window. The room was small but the view made up for it. 5 stars for the view but I dropped it to 4 because the included breakfast was disappointing. The food wasn’t tasty and the choice wasn’t much. I would just book room only and find another place in the city for breakfast. Definitely worth a stay though for the views.

Great location in the city centre adjacent to the Queen Street Mall and lots of shopping and choices for food and entertainment. The rooms are comfortable and modern in their decor. Staff are friendly and happy to assist. Parking is next door underneath Myers and does cost $38 a day on top of the room tariff.

Good hotel, very well placed in city center.

My partner has stayed here previously for sporting events, so we were happy to do so again. Our room was perfect in every way for our requirements. Very thoughtfully designed & furnished. I especially loved the large coffee mugs & matching saucers which saves mug rings on furniture. All staff get top marks from us, we felt very welcome. I needed to have my ice pack to treat a foot injury. The fridge in the room had no freezer, however the restaurant staff were instantly happy to assist with leaving my pack in the kitchen coldroom during the day. Thanks heaps everyone. P. S. We thoroughly enjoyed our buffet breakfast.

I have stayed at the ibis Styles twice now for work and I’m really impressed. My boss stays regularly and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming not only to her but to me as well. OMG how I wish I could take one of those beds and the pillows home with me. I’m not a great sleeper but I always sleep so well when I’m at the ibis. Great location (love the fact I can duck down to Krispy Kreme) I saw the staff cleaning in another room this morning and they looked like they were doing a thorough job. I’m a germafode, so every hotel room I stay in is inspected the second I arrive and ibis have passed with flying colours! Have another stay coming up soon and I’m already dreaming of that bed!

Quite annoying how there isn't any parking at the hotel. I don't like having to walk through the shopping mall with my belongings to get to the foyer, and then pay $35 for the privilege! The room was small but modern and comfortable. The bottom bed sheet didn't fit though! I was sent an email to check in online, which I did and said I would arrive before 12 noon. This was accepted and I didn't receive anything to indicate I had to pay extra for this. When I arrived I still had to go through a normal check in process only to find out my room wasn't ready. I then had to pay $15 extra to get into a room. Not sure what the point of the early online check in is!

I only stayed for 1 night, checking in in the evening, then gone in the morning. No complaints. The room was clean and functional. Lots of TV channels to choose from. I didn't use the restaurant or room service so can't comment on that. I did use the bar later in the evening and found it was very nice with interesting decor.

IBIS STYLES YOU'VE DONE IT AGAIN! We have just had two of the best nights that we could have possibly had. Firstly once again the view for River Fire was to die for — absolutely the best you can get. Your staff are always extremely friendly and so so obliging right from Management — Todd thank you, to the front desk staff and the restaurant staff — we love having a little catch up with Jack (when he's not busy) and Raj is always on the ball and very friendly. Please pass on our appreciation to all of your staff on our behalf Yes Norman " YOU GOT ME! " What a surprise to have received a bottle of champagne on ice for my birthday — it's little things like that that make the stay extra extra special for Bruce and I and we really really appreciate it all THANK YOU so much. We stayed 2 nights in a Deluxe King Suite with a river view on Floor 25 for Riverfire. We had the best view of Southbank and we could even see the fireworks over the building around near the Storey Bridge. Our room was made up during the day and we had a full buffet breakfast each morning. The staff on reception, especially Norman were fantastic and lovely.

Service was friendly and prompt. Room was very clean and tidy and the bed was so comfortable we need the brand of the bed :) Rooms are small but efficient for short term stay. Not much hanging space or space for bags. Limited space to put stuff in the bath room but all very clean, neat and tidy. Car parking is very inconvenient and expensive if your driving in. Having to drag your bags a long way down into a car park under the Myers center was not fun. But over all we enjoyed the stay, loved the bed, service was happy and with a smile. Very convenient location to everything. All within walking distance.

I was there to attend a conference so my three night stay was almost perfect, I stored my bags until the room was ready on time. The room was everything I needed, clean and comfortable. The house keeping staff where great and I loved returning to a clean and made up room every night. The bed was comfy and I slept really well without traffic noise. The view from the room was superb. River/city views … just magic. The best part of my stay was the day staff! I was a little grumpy when I arrived and was greeted by the best smiles and courteous service. The way I was treated by the young man that registered me made me just know that this hotel stay was going to be a breeze. My only let down was on the morning of my departure I ventured into the restaurant to grab a coffee only to be charged for it. I had also tried to dine there but there was absolutely nothing Vegan. Seriously. It's veggies or salad or maybe a curry. The restaurant was my only let down but reception staff made up for that as did the restaurant across the road.

Friendly check in and a 21st floor corner room with a great view of the city at night. Breakfast was a good choice and not too crowded. Room was clean and new. Rocky road as a welcome was a nice touch! Hard to beat for location, right in the city centre beside the Myer shopping mall.

Overall the room was very comfortable and suited my needs. I really enjoyed the breakfasts I had there and think you do a wonderful morning service. I was a little disappointed with the meal I had on the first night and chose to eat dinners elsewhere after the first night. If the dinner was a bit better I probably would have eaten there every night.

I chose Ibis Styles primarily because of the location. I was very happy with my room and the service I received during my stay. The staff on the desk were very friendly and efficient. The only thing I had trouble with was that no one told me to use my room key to make the elevator work. Luckily a cleaner got in the lift with me and told me what to do. The room was really nice. Very comfortable bed and all the amenities I needed. I liked the decor too. I had a continental breakfast included in my room booking, so went down to eat about 8am. The dining room was well set up and the selections available to me were very nice. I was offered an upgrade to the full hot breakfast buffet but declined. Check out by 11am is a bonus. Most places are 10am and the extra hour meant I could lounge around a bit longer instead of rushing to leave. Express check out is very handy; just dropped my keys in the box and left. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and will not hesitate to recommend Ibis Styles.

I would the hotel is just like any other 3-4 star restaurant. Clean, decent service, all amenities available. The letdowns are, it doesn't have 24-hour housekeeping. Housekeeping is really slow. They have some random rules for breakfast with upgrades and what-not. Overall it's decent with good but slow service. Nice clean rooms.

The overall experience was good. My intention was to book a room with a city view, however, I left it a little later and ended up with the option of a Superior Room with a river view. I'm pleased I received this room. The view overlooking Southbank and South Brisbane right out to greater Brisbane — was perfect from the 21st floor. The service from the reception staff especially Norman was friendly and professional. The room facilities were modern, clean and accessible and you could see the design was well thought out for the customer in mind. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again when I visit Brisbane. If I had to rate this out of 10 with 10 being perfect and 1 being unacceptable, I would rate this experience 9/10.

I always enjoy staying at Ibis Styles. The colours, and smell, make me feel happy. The bar/cafe has a nice ambiance. The rooms, whilst small, alre clean and comfy. You have good views and everything you need. Great location and rooms are reasonably quiet.

Enjoyed the stay (mostly). Location was very good. Bed and bathroom were good — both clean and functional. As usual in budget hotels the air-conditioning was either on or off which means you either freeze or swelter and nothing in between. Check in/out process was easy.

The room was new, fresh and clean and sufficient for an overnight stay. The staff were pleasant; though was difficult to get through on the phone. It is in a good position for the cbd. We had a large/tall vehicle which we had to find our own parking for as we did not fit in the available parking at the Myer centre. We also arrived at peak traffic time and were not supposed to pull up in that zone in front of the hotel to unload our bags. Quick check out where we deposited our keys in a box was great!

Quick check in and out process. Location is perfect, close to queen st mall, southbank. Stayed in superior room. No view but it was on the quiet side. Room is a bit small but seems to be recently renovated. Would be nice if there is multiple entry car parking. Will stay here again.

Overall the hotel is nice, the decor is fresh and modern. However on the night we arrived we ate in the restaurant and the meal my partner had gave him food poisoning. When I mentioned this to reception staff the next morning as I told them we needed to extend our stay as he was too unwell to travel, they seemed completely disinterested. Also, during the day when we were in the room someone knocked on the door. I answered and it was housekeeping staff. They asked if they could come in but before I could answer they had already started pushing the door fully open and walked into the room. Bearing in mind my partner was still very ill at this point an in bed, he wasn't very happy about them just coming into the room.

I stayed with a good friend for a girls night out. We picked Ibis Styles for it's location and good prices. The check out of 11am was very appreciated after our late night out. We will be staying again for sure. Just wish there was parking.

The service was good both from reception and from housekeeping. The view is extraordinary.

The room is clean and I can take a rest really well. It's just I can't use the TV for some reason, but it doesn't really affect me at all as I was out of the room most of the time. And the staff are really quick in responding and helpful. I had problem with my card key and they took care of it so quick and when I needed a knife to cut a fruit that I got from a friend in here, they responded so quick and willing to help me although I know that is a lot of trouble. Also, it is really close to Treasury Casino and the shops/restaurants in the CBD. I am really glad that I stayed 2 nights in Ibis Styles without any problem.

The hotel was a good location and easy to find. It was about as I expected — good quality bedding, clean, etc. There were three things that made me give is a moderate review: 1. There wasn't any conditioner or lotion provided. 2. There was no microwave in the hotel rooms or in the lobby. 3. We parked in the lot as described on the website, but we were not told when we checked in that we would need to validate parking to get the discounted rate. We ended up having to pay $110 to park for one night in the attached parking garage, and the front desk was not able to help us get this fixed. We hope that in the future, your website should state, "please tell the front desk if you have a car, " or have the front desk ask when you check in. We assumed the stated rate on the website was for anybody staying overnight; not just for guests of the hotel.

Front of House staff were excellent, especially Beau who we found very helpful. The Dining/Bar staff member maybe needed to be a little more customer orientated and motivated. We did have one issue that our rooms were not cleaned for two days in a row, granted this was during the Easter Weekend so we can understand how this could have happened.

Efficient check in and service. Room clean and has adequate facilities for a short stop over stay. TV news and sport coverage good — valuable on such a short stop over. For longer term, clothing hanging and storage too limited. Hotel very convenient location to banking and shopping services.

House keeping was a shambles and very poorly carried out. The person looking after our room seemed more interested in her phone than our room. Apart from that our stay was enjoyable, the beds comfortable and alot of the rooms have some of the best views in Brisbane. Maybe the housekeeping staff should leave their phones in their locker during working hours! Then they would have more time to do the things that guests notice (vacuuming, etc).

Great location for inner city work. Clean, great room for my overnight stay. Had a nice walk across to the State Library for work. Only negative, I didn't realise there was a $50 security deposit and the work card wasn't topped up. BUT the staff worked with me and it was all sorted. Thank you to the staff member who made it happen.

1, an old building alteration, bathroom and room only with wooden cubicle, there is no Goein hotel.
2, less than 20 square meters of room, a primer will have a few tall glasses to greet you, accidentally will be twice the money.
3, the so-called package breakfast, there are only a few bread and brown juice, if you are not careful in the past to look at the hot food, said that there is no food, the staff will be on your credit card deposit on the $30, when you enjoy their hot breakfast, but they will not inform you, even if check-out will not notice, only when you go, and then in your credit card deduction, ask an international brand hotel will do such behavior, you will stay?
