One of the worst experiences I had during the stay in this hotel. Food was not up to the standard & the hotel’s washroom was not functioning properly. I came home with a burnt charging adapter as I plugged in to the hotel’s plug point and luckily it was only the brick not the phone.

We spent our honeymoon at The Palms Beruwala. We had a warm welcome from the beginning to the end and it was simply Woooow & amazing🥰 The room was spacious and comfortable. The honeymoon amenities were perfect. The room service was perfect. Food at The Palms was delicious and mouth watering. The service at the food and beverages section was superb. Mr. Raj — F&B Manager, I personally recommend him and he is one of the best staff we can mention as he is so supportive and friendly and was looking for all our needs and providing the best. Ms. Ruchira — Room Service Manager and Mr. Rohan Gamage — GM personally checked on the service provided to us. I would personally recommend The Palms for your next trip destination ❤️

The Palms Hotel located in a attractive premises. Had a good experience in this hotel during my quarantine period. Food and service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and courteous, specially Mr. Ruwan Kumara. Best part was the live musical show which was entertaining. They are very strike about the health guidelines and make sure everyone's safe.

During quarantin, before arriving home I feel like im at home. The foods are delicious. Fantastic service at the hotel. The view is nice from balcony. Perfect place to spend our vacation.

It’s an amazing hotel with beautiful nature. Nice swimming pool facility and beach next to the hotel is very beautiful. If you visit once, I am pretty sure you will be there again. I was at The Palms for my quarantine for 14 days since arriving from Japan. From the arrival to my departure, I have only good things to mention. Management and staff were very attentive and treated us with respect while making sure all safety precautions are taken. Army staff were also very helpful. Food was delivered to us in parcels, but it was above our expectations, it was delicious and well presented. Rooms were clean. Amenities were enough and replenished promptly. Evening entertainment we witnessed from the balcony was the highlight. Thank you The Palms.

It’s a very beautiful and mind relaxing hotel but not suitable for wedding functions. Coz their service for a wedding is zero and zero. Very disappointing.

The Palms Beruwala is one of the best beach resort in down south.
Excellent service from the staff members. All are willing to help. Well maintain garden and pool. Lovely flower arrangements. Clean rooms. Very reasonable rates for ayurvedha treatment. Awesome buffet. One of the best Sri lankan food corner at golden palms. Highly recommended this lobely property our friends and family. Will be back soon.

We booked Deluxe room but we're upgraded to Suite room with Jacuzzi free of cost being our Wedding Anniversary. The staff is very polite and helpful. Amazing Amenities and variety of food in breakfast buffet.

Customer service was moderately good. May be better for foriegners than locals. Otherwise the hotel is quite a nice place. Built very closer to the see. Have a nice view as well.

Had a wedding there. Nice place and good piece of architecture and not so complicated. Foods ok. Staff is good as well. No ceiling fans installed for some part of the main hall makes very difficult to stay longer.

The Palms has become our go to place every time we go home. The food is excellent with ample choice. The customer service is amazing and everyone is so friendly. They make you feel so welcome and go out of their way to accommodate every need. The hotel is well maintained and very clean. Thank you to all. We can't wait for our next visit to the Palms. We saw the pictures and we're looking forward to staying here. But the resort is dated and needs and urgent upgrade. The food was good. However the rooms were not to standard. The pool was often crowded. We were also told to not go on the beach after dark as there are beach boys who offer to take you on trips and when you get to your destination demand money to take you back. This did not make us feel secure. The resort has a guard near the beach at all time. Also staff need to learn to interact with guests.

Nice place to be. Staff is very friendly. Food is good. But not more variations of foods. All the rooms are sea view ones. Nice place to expend the weekend. Can recommend.

A Nice Hotel in perfect location. I had a great time with my family. The pool is very big with nice view. The Staff was friendly. There are some places that can book for the photoshoots in this hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious. The buffet contained with small variety of spared but those were delicious. We stated for 3 days in here and I am really satisfied about the service what I had. I will visit here again. Recommend to all.

It really is the most beautiful hotel in Beruwala. Complete luxury. Whether it's food, the rooms that are cleaned every day and are very clean or the wonderful staff! Recommended to everyone! The beach and pool is also highly recommended! 10 wonderful days spent 3km from the city centre.

The hotel is located in a nice & quite place. Very close to the beach. However, they don't have a banquet hall, but their main restaurant can be converted to one.

Hotel very friendly service, mediocre a lot of waiting at the bar, very little to smile unlike other hotels buffet of low-quality non-renewal 5-day the same dishes … For the rooms they are spacious but bathrooms very small, no power outlet in the bed, no bedside lamp … Otherwise, the rest of the hotel very nice level decoration swimming pool …

Little bit old type rooms. No big varietys for the buffet. No water bottles for second day. Staff was good… nice garden… nice pool… good beach view… Its not bad!

Nice garden, Nice pool, nice beach only… Poor staff service in carrying luggage. I was carrying my baby and my hubby was in the car waiting for parking and no one came to take our luggages till I go and inform them. One staff member was looking at us, but didnt come to get the luggages.
We asked them to allocate a king size bed. But they have provided 2 single beds together which was so uncomfortable to sleep with a baby.
There was a cockroch in the bathroom. Mosquitoes in the… bathroom and room. And ants on the room floor. Very old type rooms and didnt provide water bottles for the 2nd day. Dinner & Bf buffet were horrible. No much variety. Very less sea food though this is a beach resort. Thy have a seperate seafood restaurant and giving 15% discount for deluxe room guests. They are promoting system with a extra charge at their seefood restaurant it seems. Never ever visit again and the worst 5* hotel experience.

Very good place for your family holidays. Highly recommend this place. Clean pools. Specially nice kids pool separated from the main pool. Staff also little friendly. Very nice beach in front of the hotel. Breakfast was ok. Rooms looks little old. Needs renovation. Long passage way to walk from the parking to the rooms, but manageable. Overall good place to be.

In Moragalla, next to the — now priceless — Barberyn Reef, a hotel that doesn't miss anything. Nice room, good restaurant, nice garden. An attractive stretch of beach. And of course also a pool for those who are afraid of the sea. Oh, woe, I really don't know if there was a TV in the room or not. We did not miss such a thing anyway.

Great place to be. Very courteous staff. Variety of food. Only draw back I saw was there is no welcome drink unlike in other hotels I visited. Overall good place to holiday.

It was a hard fight until we got our standard room with sea view, actually it should be a de de luxe room, the house was overbooked. There were possibilities to the rear, to the garden, but was not to see the room a regular dark shithole, not even 1 * value, an insolence here to accommodate someone. There are also few, renovated beautiful rooms, if you are lucky. The floor (tiles) are waxed every day and shine. The food was also unconvincing. The service friendly, sometimes the ordered drink simply did not come. Had previously ' all inclusive ', that was a flop, the cappuccino was not included, nor any brand drinks.
The garden, pool area and beach were lovely.

The hotel, the grounds and the beach are very good. The rooms are spacious and OK. The staff is friendly but unfortunately no one speaks German.

Very good hotel! Meals at will in the morning and evening, impeccable rooms with air conditioning, swimming pool, sea… Wi-Fi is also available. Works rather early morning or evening rather late when not too many people is connected.

Friendly staff and a nice beach hotel is to be expected. Fairy tale plant, which unfortunately also leaves the colour at one or the other place. Is not to compare with Spanish 4 stars. Relaxing and gorgeous. Approx. 60 beds (large enough but no bed castle).
Tip 1: There is no mosquito net required tip 2: Always keep about 100 rupee notes available as a tip (= approx. 60 cents)

Some outdated facility but friendly staff eat okay.

I stayes yhis hotel but actually this is not like a star hotel rooms are very old television also not working properly less varieties of buffet hotel furnitures also very old and not eell maintained.

Negative POINTS: Aging hotel poorly maintained at the room level. Very dirty beach mattresses. The staff at the bar is very unpleasant, not smiling. The food very average as to the formula All inclusive (ridiculous) positive POINT: Very good location the hotel and located on the edge of a beautiful beach with several small bars-restaurants just next door.
I do not recommend it, I think there are hotels as well for the same price.

Nice hotel with a large green territory. Buildings in three floors. There are covered walkways, trees decorated with lanterns, all at night glow. Silence and comfort violated only the current from the roof of the tank of hot water, but by the end of the rest of the fault repaired. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

Two of my fiends stayed at your place and they were hardly insulted by local tour guides with the direct or indirect permission of your staff.

My suite was awesome.
Sea was very wild, as rainy season and very dark.

I went for 2 nights. Had a lovely time. The beach was dirty after the violent storm 2 nights back. But the hotel staff was cleaning it. We spend the mornings on the beach and the evenings on the pool. At night there was songs played and some of the guest started dancing. The restaurant staff need to be more attentive and pay more attention to guests. Love their pork curry. Ask for a room close to lobby or with easy access to beach.

Very nice place. Rooms are pretty spacious. Pretty close to the beach hence can go for a walk in the morning or evening. Breathtaking view. Large pool.

The Palms Hotel is a dream place on the edge of the sea, immense, well equipped and extremely comfortable.

Great place for a getaway. The food & the restaurant was great although a few more items can be added to the buffet. The rooms & bathrooms were clean & well maintained. Friendly staff. The pool was very spacious. The adjoining beach was shallow & can be enjoyed well.

Hotel Class 4 * * * * right on the ocean. Nice green area and swimming pool. By the way the pool is important because in the ocean especially do not swim. Average price of the rack for the room 120 dollars a day for BB.

Enjoyed the wonderful beach with shallow sea. The swimming pool is also good. Food was OK, but the selection in the buffet was less. Nothing special in the rooms. Looks like they were recently refurbished but no high tech. All rooms has a view to the sea. They have a small theater for private movie watching. There is a party hall that is not sound proof. You can hear the music if there is a party even from rooms. Staff is friendly. I recommend this place.

Rooms are large, bed is sufficient for two. Sea views with balconies. Eating access to the beach is very good.

This hotel is very good! Both our children and we enjoyed our stay very much. We stayed here for almost a week. The staff is very polite and tries to help you where they can. The food, the gym (especially liked by our 18 year old son who is going to study gymnastics), the swimming pool and the other sports and relax facilities are established very well. Also the music program in the evening is nice and interesting for (we think) almost all people. We would definitely recommend this hotel to other people! Save your money and don't go here. Horrible service and the rooms are old with TVs which were produced during the Dinosaur era. They had just 4/5 channels. The food was equally bad. It makes sense why they keep giving rates at 50% off cause otherwise people will never go. One hotel I will never return to. I don't think they deserve even a 2 star rating. Dont believe their website. Its exaggerated with pretty photoshopped pictures.

Place & staff is excellent. But not satisfied with the condition of rooms. Bar and restaurant is great. Morning spread was OK, dinner could use more options. Beach is excellent with no rubbish and shallows for a long way. Nice sceneries with small island too.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, the breakfast was good and the bathroom was clean. Friendly staff. In the evenings there are various invited artists. The food was excellent. The beach is spacious but the depth is typed very slowly, if stormy to the right there is a small lagoon in which is always calm. Local guys on the beach, always take to the center and prompt what and how. Jackie is especially popular, he can read reviews from tourists (and mine including) about his work.

Rooms slightly outdated, staff very friendly except the guys at the bar, seem slightly annoyed, eating is very international kept. We stayed here 14 days and have been in the second week of whether to eat in the restaurants on the beach. One finds himself to be very handled. Otherwise hotel complex very well maintained, beach top and otherwise you can only mention Silly our tour guide positively, these are the guys on the beach that show you the island. (Tour guide was a disaster)

Nice hotel. The pool is very shallow. Snakes creep into the territory. The beach at the hotel is not for bathing, because on one side of the ocean waves on the other-the dirty water of the mouth of the river.

The old hotel, all creaks, switches crap flies, oblezshie mirrors, air conditioners probably do not service, fans strongly buzzing, Wi-Fi nominally for check-in only on reception and that does not work, other hotels look about the same or worse. The staff is OK, can be said almost clean, the pool without a modern cleaning system, fall asleep with buckets of chemistry.

The hotel is not new. The rooms are OK. The bathroom requires an upgrade. The room was clean. Very boring here. No entertainment. The hotel is for a passive relaxing holiday. Retirement age contingent. No youth. Mostly Germans. The food is good. The nearest town is 2 km away. The ocean is close. But near the river. After the rain the ocean is very dirty, because from the river all the dirt is washed down here. The sand strip is very narrow. Almost all sunbeds are on the territory of the hotel for fence on the grass under palm trees. Little umbrellas. There is a swimming pool. The hotel territory is beautiful. Local newlyweds come here for a photo shoot. The breakfast was very friendly.
