I stayed in December and the hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas, really beautiful. People were gathering just to take pictures outside.

Nice hostel to meet people. Beds had blackout curtains which was super helpful for people sleeping at different times. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

The best hostel I’ve ever went. Loved the room specially the blackout individual curtains and the locker under the bed.

Fabulous room/suite which was so comfy. But the QR Code room service didn't work – I ordered at 6pm, nothing had arrived by 8pm – no phones being answered in either reception or the restaurant.

We spent 3 nights at Cismigiu early October 2024.
The property is strategically located in the center of Bucharest and very convenient for sightseeing and restaurants.

We stayed at Novotel Bucharest City Centre throughout our holiday. We chose the hotel based on a recommendation from a friend who lives in Bucharest, and it turned out to be an excellent choice.

Stayed in this hotel for two nights. From the moment I checked in, every staff member I dealt with was very welcoming, friendly and professonal.

We felt a warm welcome from staff at check-in. Nice and clean room with a balkony and some coffee/tea options. Slept good in the bed.
Hotel has a perfect location for visiting the city.

The hotel is in a great location. Just a short walk from Bucharest's Old Town, it offers easy access to the city's most iconic landmarks.

The accommodation itself is cozy and nicely designed, with a pleasant boutique feel and a comfortable room overall. The toilet is very large and the shower stall could fit 6 people together.

Great Location most places were in walking distance. Those that weren’t Bolt taxis reasonably priced. Room large and comfortable has a minibar, kettle and a safe.

Beautiful apartment, in the perfect location with the old town being situated just behind. It was great to explore and use the recommendations for food from the hosts.

We stayed here for my birthday for 2 nights. The location was super central there was abit of noise due to clubs and bars being open till 8 in the morning.

We didn’t actually stay here, at least our stay was only 10 minutes long, but I want to celebrate integrity in a hotel. We had reservations at a different hotel, a much more expensive place.

From the moment we booked, the communication, even before arriving at the hotel, was impeccable.

The location was excellent and the neighbourhood quiet and safe. 5-10 min walk to the Old Town. The room was clean, well equipped and the towel were changed every day.

Our stay at Hotel Capitol was very nice and we received what we booked it for. The room was clean and cosy, with only a few worn-off details and the bed was very comfortable.

An average hotel, relatively old and not well-maintained, but the service is fine, and they fix anything needed, so overall, we were satisfied.

Excellent location in the heart of Bucharest old town with plenty of restaurants and pub to sip a coffee in the morning or have a beer! Location is perfect and the apartments are warm and cozy.

A really nice apartment in the center of the city, very clean with great facilities. The self check-in/check-out process was super easy and the instructions that were sent via email were very helpful.

Location wise, it is not bad… but it is not terrific. I had to walk 1~20 minutes from the bus/subway/tram station.

We had a great stay at this hotel. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment that was spacious, very clean, and equipped with everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen.

Pros: we got upgraded to a bigger room with a balcony, it was very spacious and with a small kitchen with a fridge, microwave and coffee machine.

Stayed for three nights in July 2024 as part of a trip around eastern Europe.

If you take all things into consideration — this hotel is probably the best option in Bucharest.

The hotel has a very old and historic atmosphere. It’s a nice and decent place, but it definitely doesn’t deserve 5 stars — barely even 4. Still, I’m giving it 4 stars because it’s clean and peaceful.

So some may question the five star rating but this hotel is 150 years old and has fantastic old world charm. If you want all the mod con amenities go somewhere else.
