Amazing staff, cosy little boutique hotel.

Impeccable service, it is true that the facilities are upgradeable, but the staff is all smiles and never a no. I wouldn't think of going back to Hanoi and not staying there. The breakfast was great. I miss the morning coffee. I hope to be back soon.

Brilliant staff, breakfast are wonderful! Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Hanoi.

Comfortable and clean however the blinds do not block out light and the coffee is rather diluted after we were used to the local Vietnamese coffee in the shops outside. Noise, people talking loudly and doors closing can be heard in the room.

Great hotel with wonderfull staff. Miss Lucy (who works at reception) was particularly a star! The rooms were clean and safe and had good airconditioning. The only thing to watch out for is that in some rooms there is a giant building right outside the window. You can touch its walls from the window. That means there is no view and the room is dark. But the good side of it is that the giant building blocks the noise from outside and gives you privacy.

Not bad at all. Good location, great breakfast, good service, nice room, but the window was covered with a tarp (that's why I don't put the 5 stars) the value for money is good. I would recommend it, although there are more economic options in the area, with similar qualities. I only spend one night.

Friendly and helpful. This is a great little hotel for a limited budget. It is located in the old quarter of Hanoi which is ideal for experiencing authentic Vietnamese food. I particularly liked their advice on how to cross the road through the manic traffic in Hanoi — be confident, pick your moment to cross, cross the road with purpose, don’t turn back.

Easy to reach although a bit hidden. Bus 86 from the airport and then only 5 min walk. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was quite good, including a choice of cooked meal. Room was tiny but that's quite common in Hanoi. We spent one night here and 3 nights in a different hotel, and have to admit that the location is perfect. Overall a good address.

Friendly staff, great room. Shower was insanely slippery and felt like a death trap. We were charged for the items in the fridge which felt a bit deceptive as there was no indication that a water or can of soda from the mini fridge would cost money. Otherwise this was a great spot at a reasonable price.

Super Hotel, a bit pricey but well worth it. You are in the center of Hanoi. Markets and nearby shops. The pedestrian island of the weekend is 200 meters. Kind as all the Vietnamese. Buffet breakfast and a small part to the card. Hot shower water. Thanks to Lucy.

Great hotel. Services met above par. Mr Leo was great and extended hus service on playing with my 3 year old daughter. Bedrooms are clean and beds are comfy. Breakfast was great. Thanks for the great service guys.

Perfect hotel in the heart of hanoi. Lucy at the reception and other staff at hotel were extremely helpful and courteous. The rooms were cosy and comfortable appropriate to price charged. But the biggest point in their favour is the delicious buffet breakfast having enuf variety for both Western and Asian diet prefernces. I certainly look forward to go back there.

It has been wonderful. The rooms are lovely and clean. When we arrived Ms Lucy sat us down and gave us tips on where to go and also what not to do etc for safety in Hanoi. The staff are always bright n happy and willing to help. Only downside is the beds are really hard (but that is apparently like that all over hanoi). Highly recommend.

I am a private English teacher from Thailand. I stayed in this place for four days from 9 — 13 January with my Western partner from Switzerland. The place is located at the edge of the old town which is the area of backpackers. The room was good. The cleanliness was good. The breakfast was average. The service was quite good except that most of the staff treated me (Asian) unequally compared to my Western partner. That was a pitty! The English command both speaking and listening of most of the staff is very low except some receptionists.

It has been a very enjoyable stay in La Beaute de Hanoi. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful. Really good "One Stop Shop".

Great staff and amazing breakfast. The best thing about this hotel is it's location, right in the middle of the action in the Old Quarter. The staff always make sure you're comfortable. Wide selection of food for breakfast, the pho is pretty average but there are other great choices. Rooms are great and cleaned really well. Reception can help you sort out tours and transport.

We were guests at the hotel for two days and booked the transport from the airport to the hotel via email in advance. Despite the plane delay, our shuttle was still there waiting for us. Here we were greeted very kindly and immediately we went to the hotel.
Located in a small side alley in the middle of the Old Quarter of Hanoi, so it's not noisy. But if you step outside the door, you are in the middle of the hustle and bustle! To welcome you there was a tea and there were helpful tips on tourist behaviour (safety etc. ) and sightseeing points + road map.
The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. We felt completely at ease and the breakfast is also good. We can recommend the strong coffee, the large pancakes with banana and also the typical "noodles":)

The staff is amazing. Not everyday you have the Hotel Manager introducing himself personally and helping you in everyway he can. He even arranged for someone to help carry our luggage to the next hotel we were booked at. Outstanding!

Stay was for a week in March '17. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Hotel is well situated, clean, safe and comfortable. Staff incredibly hospitable.

The responsive hotel personnel, convenient location.

After a not great start in Hanoi I switched to this hotel for my last night. Right in the middle of the old quarter yet peaceful at night. Bed was super comfy, I almost missed breakfast. All staff were super great and really went out there way to help.
They also arranged a vintage Vespa night tour for me — highly recommended, very safe despite traffic and super fun.

Do not let the low price put you off, this place is fantastic! Extremely attentive check in with lovely friendly staff, great room. Very very quiet with great air-conditioning and had no problems with Wi-Fi. Took us a little while to get the hang of breakfast, but just sit there and they will do everything for you, it was impeccable. Front counter staff very helpful with cabs and booking tours without being the slightest bit pushy. Location is fantastic, but busy however in its own little alley it is like an oasis. We loved it and came straight back after Bai tu Long Bay. Thanks to all the lovely staff.

The location is great, the hotel is absolutely beautiful, but the staff really set this apart. They speak very good English and have a professional demeanor that is beyond most hotels at this price point. They will help you with anything. The text above is exactly what I put on their sister hotel, the Hanoi Oriental Central Hotel, one street over because the experience is almost exactly the same. I do like this hotel more because it is away from the main street and accessible via a tiny "alley" which cuts down on the noise and traffic.

Amazing staff, nice rooms and good breakfast. But mainly the amazing staff. Trang took such good care of us without trying to sell us on booking through them.

We stayed for 4 nights after visiting Sapa and Halong Bag. Location is exciting and very central to access many locations on foot. Check in was very pleasant and we were provided a welcome ice tea and cold towel. The staff was exceptionally helpful, friendly and professional. They gave us a map and pointed out Hanoi's highlights, including restaurant and cafe recommendations. They greeted us by name every time we passed through the lobby throughout our stay. Overall, we were a bit disappointed with the room. We found it a little old and run down compared to what we expected based on the photographs. We decided to pay an extra $20 or so a night to upgrade to the "Junior Suite with Balcony". The picture on the website showed a glass balcony door and very nice bright room. But our room had wooden doors, which when closed made it a dark, windowless room. Keeping the door open for long periods of time wasn't feasible while running the aircon, and because of sounds from the street. This made the room feel a bit like a dungeon for most of our stay. The Wi-Fi was not strong enough to get signal in the bedroom on my iPhone, but it did work in the bathroom. The mattress needed to be replaced as we felt the springs. The pillows were also low quality (not down or feather). Overall: 3/5 stars based on the price. Do not upgrade to a balcony room as it's not worth it. Tip: hotel offers airport transfer taxi for $19. We used uber and the cost was nearly half that at $10.

3 of us stayed at La Beaute De Hanoi Hotel for a total of 6 nights in February 2016. Fabulous location in the hub of the Old Quarter. The most helpful and friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure that we had a great time in Hanoi. Breakfast was yum and the whole hotel was very clean and comfortable. Thank you La Beaute — we look forward to returning next visit to Hanoi.
