We have stayed 4 nights in total. It’s central to the old city, walking distance to local shopping. The staff have been awesome, welcoming us and remembering our names. The rooms are gorgeous, beds comfy. The breakfast was included in the price, lovely food. Mr Don was fabulous, gracious and welcoming. He took the time to learn our names and always greeted us. Home away from home. Well done Tirant hotel, we loved our stay with you. Roof top cocktails were delicious a perfect way to end the day. From Ali and jules.

This is my second time visiting Tirant hotel. First time was on business and second time for the vacation. I really like the big PHO for the breakfast, but sadly it got smaller. It was still tasty and breakfast on the 11th offers nice view. The hotel is directly in the heart of the old quarter and the lake. The location is perfect but still very quite. Mr. Don and Joy were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back!

The room is over priced, especially for the ones which does not have a window. There seems to be a cockroach infestation in this room also. Bathroom is dated. Service is very good however and staff helpful. I'm also adding on that they took on our feedback seriously and I would hope that they will do something about the cockroaches.

Fantastic receptionists, helped sorting out our airport taxi. They also looked after our bags when we went off to Halong Bay overnight. Very comfortable room and great place on the rooftop for a drink and looking at the city. I absolutely recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel placed strategically in the Old Quarter. The staff is very helpful. I used the massage service which I recommend. I’ll repeat the experience.

Very conveniently located in the middle of the Old Quarter. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Mr Don constantly talks to guest to make sure they are ok! Breakfast is very good as well. Will recommend this hotel.

The staff was friendly and attentive. The amenities were fine considering where the hotel is, the free breakfast was super, and pick up service on time. The old quarter was great. Would stay there again.

Very centralised location at old quarters. Room is very clean. Breakfast is not bad though limited varieties. Hotel room's water tap is very hot though.

Our stay was great. They got us a cake for a birthday. The breakfast was delicious and the rooftop view was outstanding. Great place to escape the crazy streets of old town. Quiet and the staff, especially customer service agent Jack, was outstanding.

The service is amazing, Hana (customer service personnel) took care of us really well. You can ask them anything, and they will check it out for you. During our stay, we have requested a private tour, recommended halal restaurants and nearby attractions. The hotel has a spa (affordable prices), pool, gym and a rooftop bar (must visit! ). Definitely will come back again.

We stayed in one of their suites which was great and not to expensive. … Pool on the roof next to the restaurant. … Close to the weekend markets with views of Lake Hoen Kien. … I would class it as a mini hotel but it did offer all the services of 5 star hotel. I would stay there again if I find myself in Hanoi. …

Really nice place, awesome rooftop! Breakfast with 360 sky view and delicious food! Swimming pool a big small but crazy view. Rooms are very clean, really comfortable! Only 1 little detail: sound isolation is not the best : I could hear the people from the other room and somehow the electric pump from the swimming pool (not so loud but still here). Staff and welcome desk are very nice!

Lovely base from which to explore Hanoi's Old Quarter. Walking distance to everything and the most lovely staff who would do and organise anything for you.

Beatiful hotel with staff that can't do enough for you. Beautiful views from the roof top and a relaxing ambience throughout the building. Air con in all rooms and hallways. Pool is to die for. To do better, you would be in royalty apartments.

Very great staff. Nice rooftop restaurant and bar. Also have a rooftop pool. View is great. Room was nothing special, but then again I don't think I sprung for an expensive room. It was really weird not having a window in our room and I actually work up in a panic in the middle of the night not knowing where I was (I think it was due to not having a window). So be prepared not to have a window in your room. They were able to hold our luggage as we spent a few more hours on our last day exploring the Old Quarter before our flight home.

Great hotel and value for money! Situated in the heart of the old quarter, it's convenient to walk everywhere and visit the night market. At the same time it's quiet so guests can rest well. Staff are well-trained and smiling, breakfast is good and diverse, dining room is on the rooftop! Room is spacious with comfy beds. At front desk you can book street food walking tours at 25 USD/person, trying 8-9 dishes in 3 hrs, accompanied by a local guide who speaks excellent English and explains everything in detail. Will stay here again if I come back to Hanoi.

Most of time good choice for your money. Nice stuff, nice rooms, good breakfast. You must go to the roof to take a good drink and see the sunset. The location is great, in the middle of everything.

The best hotel in the Old Quarter. We have stayed there three times and would not consider anywhere else now. The hotel staff are first class, always happy to help with any requirement. Continuous improvements to the Skyline bar on the rooftop giving a great view out over Hanoi.

A nice hotel in the middle of Hanoi. Great location, but could be noisy. Breakfast was nothing special but included fresh fruits, yogurt and hot noodle soup.

Nice hotel in the Old Quarter, good location, friendly staff, good sized room, clean and comfortable, buffett breakfast good selection something for every taste, swimming pool out of action for maintenance while I was there, the fitness room is small with one treadmill, one stepper, and one universal machine that needs some TLC, tea and coffee facilities in the room, you can ring reception for fresh milk if required.

Summary: Best Hotel in Hanoi! Great location, friendly and helpful staff, very clean and comfortable hotel room, great rooftop with relaxing atmosphere and view. Details: Right in the middle of Old Quarter and a block away from the night market and all the bars and activities. We love walking out to the lake for a morning and night stroll. Best part of this hotel is the service. Their staff is probably the most genuinely friendly staff I've ever met. They gave us delicious ginger tea when we arrived, and when I had issues with my flight, they called into the airline to confirm my flight was delayed for me. They gave me good recommendations for tour around Halong Bay and Sapa and even held my luggage for the days I was traveling even though I was not using their hotel during my travels. I recommend checking in as soon as you land, and store your big luggages there so you don't have to carry it around with you when you go overnight to Sapa or Halong Bay. Their bed was super comfortable and big, and just the right firmness. I noticed a lot of hotels in Vietnam have overly soft beds and pillows that gave my husband back aches, but Tirant's was nice and comfortable. They recently finished all their remodeling so everything is new and clean, especially the rooftop — I definitely recommend checking it out.

Excellent hotel. Great service, great staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. One of our bags had started to break and the staff member Bella, kindly stitched it up for us. Best hotel I have stayed at.

Tirant hotel is amazing. The hotel rooms are especially spacious given its location at downtown Hanoi. The hotel owners, Aston and Shofien, were both trained in the US so they are very pleasant to talk with and I could ask them for anything like an internet-enabled SIM card. Big kudos.

Excellent value for money hotel in great location in Old Quarter of Hanoi. Close proximity to great shopping, restaurants, sight seeing and cheap bars. Staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and have excellent English. Rooms are large and well equipped with an Internet equipped computer and free Wi-Fi. An extensive breakfast is included in the tarif. A very helpful tour organiser is located in the hotel. Highly recommend the airport transfer service as low stress and only a few dollars more than very risky local taxis.
