Nice hotel. Really comfy beds, massive room, great shower. Location is great for restaurants and night lift. Would stay again. Staff friendly too.

Everything about it is a good experience nice place nice staff.

Staff very friendly and helpful especially the wee receptionist who checked us in early and made sure we had a first floor room due to my disability.

The staff were lovely, the room was spotless the only fault I had with the place was they have no lift. We stayed in 318 and had to climb 61 stairs to our room each time.

Definetly think I got the worst room in this hotel considerin the reviews & photos. Main problems were my TV didnt work & the shower didnt have water running through it so I made complaints to the nightstaff then also the manager they weren't helpful at all, I found I was explaining myself over and over again. Girl at the reception desk was lovely though couldnt fault her service.

Fantastic spot really central to downtown city, lovely staff, very helpful, upgraded to Empire Suite, same price, fabulous spacey apartment, loved all the vibes of Belfast, highly recommended for a hassle free visit.

The service is cordial, the room is spacious, only from Chinatown — street, only 5 or 6 minutes from Queen's University.

Reception was warm and friendly. Room was beautiful. Food was great.

The place is ok budgetwise. But if you're not among the lucky ones you'll get an apartment on the 1st floor which is right above the bar on the bottom floor that also plays music, sometimes loud. In case you go to bed early, you may want to search for other options. Also the bathroom had some mold building up under the sink.

Best location in town, close to everything. Cute old fashioned style, claw foot tub, good internet, fair room rate. The Chelsea Suite is right next to a night club, which was pretty loud on Saturday night. It was warm and there’s no AC, so we had to leave the window open, so the noise was a nuisance.

Jakob at the reception was super helpful both with our bags and recommendations of things to do and see. We felt welcome from the very start and always had a contact person to help us out with any queries. The hotel is in immediate proximity to the Botanic Garden and surrounded by a great mix of restaurants. In the midst of the hustle-puzzle it can get quite noise during the night. Water pressure is rather low so flushing the toilet requires some patience. Also the shower head needs descaling. Overall we really enjoy our stay and would come back anytime when staying in Belfast.

Lovely decorated. Friendly staff and a beautiful restaurant/pub on the ground floor. Exceeded my expectations, especially considering the price.

Nice hotel/bar, great service, £8 each for breakfast if you're staying at the hotel, extremely good value, can have what you want, very nice food and good coffee. Rooms clean we stayed in room 102 at street level and also opposite the Empire nightclub, abit noisey till 2am Friday and Saturdays, great location aswell.

Stayed here for a surprise birthday gift. Excellent hotel rooms are amazing.

This place has the loveliest staff and facilities. They have been fantastic this week to my family while we needed to stay in Belfast and were so accommodating when we needed to extend our stay. The area it's in is amazing great choice of restaurants, cafes and shops and very accessible to transport. Price is excellent especially for the room standard and it's amenities. Highly recommend.

Lovely stay and good restaurant although the food was not as nice as it was before they changed name of the restaurant, possibly new chefs.

Awful staff on the door and the bar manager Dan. I now believe that the door staff are not licensed which would explain the lack of manners, and more importantly — is illegal — carries a fine of £ 5, 000 for the hotel. They should know better. I will be informing the council of this matter as this could have been a nice wee hotel if it was run correctly. Don't even want to give it one star, but that's all I can select. I would also point out that the general manager, Ben, backs up the door staff, and really should think twice before jumping to conclusions. I am also posting a picture of the door staff in question in order to shame him as he refused to show me his license (again, illegal), or give me his name. My advise to anyone thinking of staying here is to have another hotel booked in case they refuse to let you back in — you might not even get your clothes for the night. I am 52 years of age and stayed in many hotels — this is the worst management I have ever come across. Beware! Ps. After complaining, I was promised that the manager Ben, would contact me the next day 20th May 2017 — Needless to say that didn't happen either (surprise, surprise) and this is now the 22nd May.

A very nice place to stay, only a few minutes walk to the city centre. The staff were brilliant and the room was clean and comfortable.

Stay was ok arrived on Monday the 6th I was early however not a problem I was given a different room room was nice and cosy bar was nice and well stocked loads to choose from what let the hotel down was breakfast. First morning (Tuesday) I ordered the Ulster fry Good black pudding and sausage the let down was the scrambled (cooked in a microwave or rather over cooked) as a result the water content of the egg white had separated and was placed on top of my toast meaning it went soggy and inedible. The second morning (Wednesday) I ordered the same without the egg I waited 28 minutes for said breakfast which never came two tables where served there breakfast in this time Pretty shocking I went to pay for my tea and told the waitress the issue she had no idea this had happened and never charged for the tea Waiting staff need to be more on the ball with the floor They never noticed my cutlery hadn't moved and nobody came near my table the whole time Look up and around the dinning room not down.

Had quite a nice stay here! Our room was clean but a little noisy, not surprising since it's located near the University. We enjoyed being near such fabulous restaurants, the neighbourhood is very lovely!

Nice hotel, old but modernized, no lift so not accessible for the elderly easily. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, tea coffee in bedroom. Nice bar downstairs with excellent friendly staff one of them even made up a special cocktail for my partner. Choice for breakfast is Ulster fry, omelet or pancakes. BUT and it is quiet a big but. It is probably the noisiest hotel I have ever been in. The sumo wrestler in the room next-door walked on the floor and our floorboards moved. Despite your best efforts you cannot close the doors to the rooms quietly not that most people even bothered to try, constant banging of doors even from the lower floor. The street noise was horrendous screaming teenagers up to 3 o'clock in the morning and then delivery trucks outside from early morning delivering to the local shops pizzeria etc. Directly across from the hotel. So the bottom line is very nice hotel with excellent staff comfortable rooms but the whole experience ruined by huge amounts of noise. Also only on street parking up the road from hotel.

Any chef who cannot fry simple potatoes, namely French fries speaks volumes. The surroundings and decor could do with a revamp. Once bitten and all that.

My partner and I stay in this hotel everytime we visit Belfast. We always get the same room (without having to ask). The staff are extremely helpful and they all have a "can do" attitude. The rooms are furnished to a high standard and it really feels like a home from home. The ulster breakfast is the best I have tasted in any hotel. Quite simply, a highly recommended place to stay.
