Very good hotel for a decent price. Staff was really friendly and the rooms quite comfy. Location is ideally situated by Botanical garden and Queen's University.

This was a OK place to stay. Rooms were clean but there was no Room Service. So every time you order something you have got to go to the restaurant to get it. There wasn't a lot of options for the food. The room was good and had extra space which I requested. Very close to famous spots and restaurants.

Rooms were very small with strange bathroom pods instead of a regular bathroom. TV was very small and broken. Wanted 2 beds (and was under the impression that I had booked and secured 2 beds), but arrived to a king and a very uncomfortable cot. The staff said they could not do anything, without an apology. However, the location is great.

Excellent hotel good service very good location with bars restaurants and fast food places nearby. Saturday night there are bars with cats chetos if you go with money to spend.
The rooms are spacious and very clean and tidy.

Firstly the staff. Absolutely brilliant. Friendly and helpful. The rest though is just unnecessarily bad. Food is dire. Struggle to provide basic foods (no chips, brown bread or ketchup during my stay). The rooms are cold, clinical and uncomfortable. Nasty laminate floors, hvac system that had two modes (deep freeze or roast you alive) and a nasty modular contraption that resembled a superloo stuck in the corner in place of a bathroom. No bath either. The management and designers behind this chain could learn a thing or two by visiting a Premier Inn…

My experience of the hotel was excellent and Rosa, Conor, Andrew and the staff were extremely helpful and informative on my first visit to Belfast, but hopefully not my last.

Very basic hotel. Staff are it's best asset. Bar food is awful. Rooms are clean but have a cold laminate floor. Bathroom is a 'pod' in the corner of the room. I wouldn't stay here again.

They are very well equipped. The staff speaks English and Spanish. This was very important to us. It is worth to highlight that. They have a beautiful bar where you can eat delicious things or have breakfast. To recommend
I don't understand people leaving negative reviews. The cleanliness of the place is excellent, there are no facilities that have deteriorated with time or with use.

The Hotel is located in a quiet area a little away from the city center. Close to the university, the Botanic Park and the Ulster Museum. Room clean and fully functional.

Location is the USP for this hotel, walkable to most of the key places and bus stops. Rooms are pretty basic and have all necessities required for a decent stay. No room service provided. Limited options for dining/breakfast and average food taste. Rates for each days fluctuates alot between different days of the same week, hence watch out your total bills.

Very efficient small room with good bed and shower. Laundry service was good. Located near university and center of Belfast. Would recommend.

Good location for quiet sleeping. Close convenience stores and close to Victoria mall. Rooms are clean and tidy.

The staff were absolutely wonderful and very helpful when it came to directions and sorting taxis. The hotel itself was lovely, the rooms were spacious and beds were comfy, with a lovely view of the church next door.

Nice large room, breakfast very good, with many choices, 10 min. Walk from city centre, easy find car parking, I would reccomend it.

Standard chain hotel, clean and tidy. Everything worked as expected. Be aware, car parking is limited & on the street or in a pay for multi storey car park.

It had all of the basics requirements for a hotel. Friendly staff, 24/7 reception, bar, clean room, and good location. Only a 10-15 mins walk to the city centre. Quiet area especially being close to a university. If you are looking for somewhere clean, affordable, and in a decent location, this is the hotel for you.

I had several problems that I solved with heated discussions: I arrived in the evening and got a room with a broken shower, did not close PA door and came out water, there was a window in the bathroom next to the shower outlet, no curtain and they saw me from the street, at night I had a cold hallucinating and there was no heating, the bed was stuck to the wall that you could not get into the side. The printer below did not work…
The next morning I discussed it on the way and was given a room upstairs (2 floor) which was brand new, spacious, perfect. Morality: I suspect they have standard A and Serie B rooms and the assignment depends on how much you discuss! He recommended it to people who immediately put in clear what they want!

Breakfast seemed like it had been left out for hours however the staff were friendly & had a printer for printing out our return boarding passes.

Close to city centre, reasonably priced for a weekend stay, friendly staff. Only downside is hand wash dispenser was empty when we arrived and still hasn't been filled.

Basic room. Clean, but the bathroom was well worn so it made it look grubby. Had no hot water for the entire stay; at best the shower was warm. Pillows were rock hard. Staff were polite.

Paid £8 for the worst breakfast of all time: awful coffee plus a bowl of weetabix. Buffet breakfast was highly uninspiring.

Enjoyed our experience at the Ibis Queens Quarter. The room was a little small but had everything we needed. It was clean and bed very comfortable. Good sized bathroom with shower and great air conditioning. The staff were excellent. Thomas in particular couldn't do more for us. He was exceptionally helpful and went the extra mile, providing us with a late snack. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and location. Great for short stay similar to ours, which was a flying visit to Belfast and this location was perfect. We walked into town and the immediate area was fantastic for bars and eateries.

There is no car park at this hotel the 24/7 food menu is only chips and as the room was ok under the bed was very dirty they must clean round the bed not under itIi did complain about the menu and was handed a domino menu and told if you don't like it fone and wait for it the breakfast was rubbish the tables were dirty the cooked breakfast was scrambled eggs sausages and beans there was only earl Gray tea no coffee there was cereal and toast but was very disappointing pay a little extra and stay in days at the top of the town will never be back.

Positive: Central location, friendly staff, stylish rooms, price/performance. Negative: No free W-LAN, mold in the shower, loud background noise from the street, partially insecure area (dubious neighborhood).

Area has got pretty rough. The one big hate is that people can come in from the street and sit drinking in the bar to all times in the morning. It should really be for residents only.

Stayed at IBIS, Queens Qtr, Belfast, on Thursday 12th August 2010 for 1 night in Room 307. Booked in advance and got room for £49 instead of £60. Ate in lobby bar. Paid £6.50 for a meal which was inedible and I left. Chips were dry you could choke on them, pie hard and salad brown and half dead. Had to rush out to nearby pub for tea costing £5.95 which was edible and I had to buy bottle of domestos bleach. The room was rotten. There was faeces and a urine stain on the toilet seat. Shower tray filthy and the wood effect lino floor in bedroom and the shirting board was filthy. Had to bleach toilet and shower tray before using. After shower I walked the short distance to bedroom. My feet were black with dirt as I didn't bring any slippers and the floor was rotten. Cleanliness costs nothing. Left note and rest of bleach in bathroom in the hope that the next person would have a clean room to stay in. Don't be fooled by the small and "clean" lobby. The food in the lobby bar is not fit for human consumption and the Food Inspector should investigate it. Cleanliness costs nothing. Stayed in IBIS Hotels in France and England. Clean and food excellent. IBIS Hotel in Queens Quarter Belfast Town rotten. I know Belfast Town will never, ever be in the same league as other European cities like London, or Dublin, but cleanliness costs nothing. I thought of the Pogues song "Dirty Old Town". That really sums up the IBIS Hotel, Queens Quarter, in the town of Belfast.
