Bad value for money. The photos are not trusted. There's no elevator. At least the room is clean. But provided only essential.

Rooms are decent size, beds are comfortable and clean. Overall this isn't a bad affordable option for Belfast. Only rating 3 stars due to poor breakfast service in an overcrowded dining room. This could easily be improved, but otherwise a lovely hotel.

Clean, warm and peacful. Th receptionist was very helpful in advising us of the best places to go. The room was clean and tidy and the beds are very comfy. They provided stuff in the room (kettle, cups, glasses, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, hairdryer and towels) they also provide other stuff at the reception (iron e. C. T) Breakfast was included which you can help yourself to tea, coffee, juice, toast and cereal. They cook a full irish break as well. I would recommend this place.

Fine for the price, everything was just about acceptable. Fine for boys weekend but that’s it. Nothing special at all.

When looking for somewhere to stay we admittedly picked botanic rest as it was cheapest. However the room was big and very comfortable and breakfast was included. We weren't sure what the breakfast would be so I ventured out to have a look in the morning and to report back to my friends. To all our amazement it was a full fry. We were very impressed with this place.

Very nice! The room was big and clean the same for the little bathroom in the room, the staff was very kind and gracious. You can choose 2 type of breakfast classic or international.

Very clean and pleasant atay at Botanic rest. It is located in queens quarter and a short stroll to the botanic gardens and queens university. An easy 15 min walk to the city and there is a train station around the corner. Room was clean, warm and quiet. Rooms are on multiple floors. Good breakfast options and lovely staff. Please note this is an old building with no elevator if you can't climb stairs request a low floor.

I stayed there with a friend for one night just to visit Belfast. At first I was delighted. The room was quite large with two single beds. Our bathroom was spacious and worked well. Later that evening we found our beds were rock solid and I woke during the night because I had a headache from how solid my pillow was. We both woke in the morning at 6:30 because our roof was leaking. Lucky not onto any of us sleeping. We were happy with the service. Fortunately we were only staying for one night. It’s good for travellers who need a quick stay for a good price. It’s a convenient location with plenty of restaurants and food stores around.

More like a hostel. Single room, tiny, £99. Some rooms have shared bathrooms. Didn't feel comfortable enough to have a shower. The building felt like a fire trap. They also insisted on a taking a photo copy of my credit card, totally illegal in all first world countries! The list goes on… Good points. House keeping deserve huge credit for keeping this place clean. 15 minutes walk to city centre. Would not stay there again.

Location good, staff helpful, rooms were to a good standard, great breakfast. Lots of stairs though. Rooms at the front can be noisy if you sleep with the window open. (We were okay with it). Shower pressure not great and bathroom was tiny but all worked and was clean.

This bed and breakfast is a cheap and cheerful place to stay right in the centre of most activities. It is very clean and has a very attentive and experienced staff. You won't find a better place in the city for the price.

The rooms are very neat, tidy and clean. Breakfast hours are 7-9 AM and the lounge access is open pretty much all day with free coffee service. The place is in the heart of the Belfast City Centre area with 10 minutes walk to the City Centre and Victoria Square. All the eateries, restaurants​ and bars are just yards away. Ideal place to stay in the city with decent budget. Apart from the great ambience of the place, the reception staff and everyone working there are the nicest people you ever come across. No extra charges for late checkout. Would definitely stay again.

The staff are very polite. However, the rooms are simply just too small for two people. When you factor in luggage and having 2 people in there. Your often having to scramble over the bed as you just can't get passed each other. I would have liked more than 4 channels on the TV too :)

Was a nice enough place, clean, good food & in a great location, en suite bathroom was nice & clean. Hair drier didn't work but I still enjoyed my stay there, will definitely be going back again.

Nice breakfast, and staff very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in could of been bigger… That was our only grumble.

Nice, the employees are very helpful but we had to ask for the toilet paper that was missing from the check in.

Good quality taking into account that the price is much lower than other hotels in Belfast. It's clean, simple, good location near many bars, restaurants and a walk into the centre… and the staff are friendly!

Small beautiful rooms. Good breakfast. Good for a 1 or 2 night stay. Great neighborhood. Do check out the vitamin gardens of the university nearby.

Satisfactory accommodation, good full Irish breakfast, the omelette looked fantastic too.

Very cold when mentioned to staff was told to wait til the room warmed up was still freezing come bed time and the next morning there was a party up above in another room and when we were talking and laughing respectably and quietly compared to the room above staff came to our door to tell us to keep it down hack job of a hotel and nothing like the pictures a massive let down won't be back.

It is my frist b&b I ever been to. I hade no toilet in my room no shower but I still like I will go back to it staf was very nice.

For the price, the service and hotel was stellar. Breakfast was good. Only criticism is that the walls were a little thing so I could hear in the corridor. Staff were friendly.

Good accommodation for price. Clean room, shower, good location, friendly staff, hot breakfast included — would definitely recommend. Only down side is the rooms pass a lot of sound, and got woken up at 2.30 am by drunk teens after a 33-hour journey…

Claustraphobic and definitely in need of a breath of fresh air. Dont anticipate a return to botanic rest whatsoever.

Stayed for 2 nights. Staff nice enough, room was modern except wen I noticed it was two single beds joined together, the TV was on wall bt buttons on remote and on TV didnt do wat they were ment to eg channel 1 turned vol down. Most controls jst didnt work. Radiator in room not working. Jst a basic b&b with no bar or lounge for evening meal. Good thing could log into Wi-Fi.

The last B&B in our holiday. Very old rooms not as it is depicted. Breakfast is really great. At night you can not open the window because several kitchens and the smell of the accommodation is situated. Next to us a few began to hit in the middle of the night. Unfortunately, no personnel was present more… Okay for Paetymachen it is enough if there is no standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
