I used no cabs or Ubers here everything was a short walk from the apartment.

Our apartment was perfect… great facilities… amazing views… fantastic staff… and so close to everything Edinburgh has to offer… we will be back.

Fantastic apartment right in the heart of this stunning city. Large beautifully appointed accommodation mixing old and new brilliantly. Great views over the new town with absolutely everything you need for your stay (washer/dryer, dishwasher, great cooker, coffee machine, Bose speaker). This is a great spot to explore the city whether wandering around the old town or shopping in the new town. Easy to access the building and your room and staff are wonderful, very helpful and offering advice when needed 24/7. I really can’t fault this place at all. If you want to stay in Edinburgh this is the place to book definitely staying next time I visit.

The customer service was amazing. We were shown to our room. Everything was explained and the receptionist made dinner reservations for us even. I would highly recommend this stay.

Wow. What a neat space. My family and I came to visit Edinburgh and wanted something in the middle of town… couldn't have done better. Great rooms, great views and great staff. My kids are already asking when we are coming back. Nilsa and Jennifer at reception were great help and accommodating. Thank you for everything.

Alexhandro is the person to ask for when you arrive here. He excels in customer service skills and that is refreshing when travelling to another country. The apartment is fully equipped for a comfortable stay right on the Royal Mile. Parking is difficult and driving on this part of the Royal Mile is not advisable. We took a taxi there and they have a button you push to call for a taxi. Restaurants and shops are next door and across the street. The apartment is set back off the road and there are multiple steps to get there. Once in the apartment all the street noise disappeared.

Amazing location (a couple of steps to Royal Mile, 5 mins to Princes Street, 2 mins to Waverly train station), great quality, dog friendly, lovely staff, good value for money with what's available, great bar right outside (The Devils Advocate), finished to a really high standard. Single glazing because a listed building, so whilst on a quiet back street, if a light sleeper like my wife, take some earplugs. (I didn't notice! ). Definitely recommend very highly!

Best hotel of our Scotland trip. Top notch location for sightseeing, huge clean rooms, excellent amenities. Our stay was quiet and I would say the most comfortable bed of our entire trip (on the firm side, but that's my preference). The staff was helpful. If I had to give any negative whatsoever, it's just that there is no nearby parking if you drove, quite a walk from the nearest garage up steep steps with luggage.

Overall a very well maintained and clean apartment in a good location centralized to the royal mile. No storage for clothing or bathroom/shower products, so you are living out of a suit case the entire time. Third party websites say the studio apartments come with a king size bed, which is not true at all. Very noisy at night next to the 100+ stairs on the close. Overall good experience and good staff. Recommend something other than the studio apartment.

This was one of the coolest hotels in Edinburgh. It’s in a cross, which is like a tiny alley, and a little hard to find. But wow is it worth it! We got a 2 bedroom luxury apartment just for one night, but I wish we could have stayed longer! It was amazing! Great modern room with modern clean accessories! We also had a private balcony, this was the view.

Cannot recommend these flats highly enough, and would give 6 stars if I could. The service was brilliant, and the flats were just to die for. Ours came with a microwave, oven, cooker, fridge, a Nespresso machine, and DISHWASHER, as well as its own personal boiler. The showers were just gorgeous, and the beds were comfortable. The gym was really well equipped on top of that, and the overall location was fantastic. Why stay in a hotel when you can stay here?

Beautiful hotel. Great location close to Waverley Station. Suite is closer to a flat, fantastic space, full kitchen, huge corner sofa, bath, 2 TVs. Downsides were the noise above us — it appears to be the floor where all the staff business is carried out, so lots of scraped/shuffling sounds through the day/evening — and to the side of us — bedroom windows face out onto a public set of steps, though that's not the hotel's fault. Also the heating is quite cryptic and insisted on returning to 21 degrees, which was too warm to sleep until it settled down and let us set it cooler. Definitely a 5 star hotel, but a few small niggles. Recommended.

Just spent the weekend there and I must say that the experience was absolutely superb. The location is top class, just 15 meters off the Royal Mile. The staff is extreamly knowledgable about the town and our Conceirge Alessandro was very helpful and found the very good restaurants for us and great tips on what to do. The apartments are clean and spacious and will make your Edinbourgh trip a one to remember.

Gorgeous apartments, really well equipped and luxuriously finished and decorated. Super comfy bed and gorgeous cowshed toiletries. Wasn't over keen on being woken up by the cleaner banging on door at 8 am. And 8.30am on a Sunday morning, when we didn't need to be checked out until 11, so would recommend you make good use of the "Do not disturb" sign if youre planning a lie in ;-)

If I could give them more stars, I would. The room was perfect, the staff went above and beyond, and the location was ideal. My boyfriend and I instantly felt at home. It was definitely a major highlight of our grand tour of Europe.

I double dare you to try and find a luxury hotel with as much square footage and a better location… you won't! We recently stayed in the 3 bedroom signature apartments (#26) and were pleasantly surprised with the space! The apartment was extremely well equipped with all the bells and whistles like: A smart TV with streaming Netflix, Bose sound system, full sized amenities in the bathroom, Nespresso machine, fresh milk in the fridge for coffee, L shaped couch, skylights with blinds, large dining table, smart heating and lighting system, great view. We felt very spoiled with all the space and all the luxury add ons! Bed was extremely comfy with super plush pillows and duvet. Check In: Check in was fast and super professional! They were even able to accommodate us being a little early, which I always appreciate. Wi-Fi: The internet signal and connection in the suite was spot on. We were able to do a Facebook Live tour, post to our Instagram stories, and stream a movie before bed. Food: The suite comes equipped with coffee, tea and milk, but no restaurant on site. That being said, literally 20 feet from the door is Zizzi's restaurant, which you should go to! They give 10% off the bill for hotel guests PLUS 2 glasses of prosecco. (Obviously, we ate there twice! who doesn't like free drinks!? ) If you have a long stay planned at the Old Town Chambers, you can have groceries delivered ahead of time, which they will unpack and put away in your suite for you.

This is our second trip to Edinburgh and stay at the Old Town Chambers. A really wonderful hotel, clean and to a high standard. We recommend the 2 bed signature apartment as it's a great size with the both bedrooms having on suites so perfect if you have older children with you. The terrace gives you a nice view overlooking the park. A fantastic location with everything you need around you. We love the history of this place and the fact its right in the heart of beautiful Edinburgh and the royal mile makes a truly memorable experience.

Great apartments in the middle of Old Town. They've been newly remodeled so everything is pretty modern and upscale. It's not a place you want to stay if you're looking for a quiet retreat or seclusion but it's great if you're looking for something in the middle of everything with moderate and reasonable privacy. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Please note, they're located in Old Town which means you'll have to go down and up narrow, steep stairs to get to and from the entrances so this might not be the best place to stay if you have limited mobility.

Old Town Chambers has the most amazing location! I am hoping to bring a group of friends from Florida and they are going to be intrigued as they walk down the close. The courtyard opens up to reveal the Old Town Chambers. It took 8 years to transform old derelict buildings into this 50 apartment building. The designs are amazing, only the best products, the in-house designer has produced modern and contemporary apartments working where possible with the best original features. I can really recommend the Old Town Chambers … and no I have no personal affiliation with them, this is an honest feedback report! Loved it!

I have stayed twice before and love the venue with a passion. I am in the process of organising another group trip. I did get in a muddle, but can only applaud Ian (Revenue Manager) and his team for their support and resolution to my situation. Once again your standards just keep going up and up. We can do nothing but recommend ALL aspects of this venue. Well done and thankyou.

This place is absolutely fantastic. Parking is a bit of a nightmare but worth it. The apartment we've stayed in has 3 full bathrooms, TVs, solid Wi-Fi and to add a touch of home a nespresso machine and complementary pods. Couple this with beautiful views of the city at night and helpful staff I'm not sure I want to leave. If you're looking for accommodation in the heart of the old town come here.

Our apartment at Old Town Chambers felt like a swanky home away from home. The apartment was stocked with a washer/dryer, dishwasher, electric kettle, a Nespresso, an induction stove top, an oven, and a microwave (but why would you need it? Go eat out! ) Our apartment had two separate sleeping areas with very comfortable beds and linens as well as two separate bathrooms, one with a tub and the other with a shower. Both had wash toiletries available in plentiful supply. If you find that you're in need of anything, you can ask the staff 24 hrs for additional items you may have forgotten to pack or are in need of on your trip. For us, it was laundry detergent and an umbrella. If you spend more than 24 hrs in Edinburgh, you'll need an umbrella. The apartment is about a 10 second walk from the Royal Mile, but if you're looking for good food you can go to either of the restaurants next door, the Devil's Advocate or Zizzi's. Zizzi's does great pizza at a respectable price point while Devil's Advocate is a great bar with awesome food at a medium price point. Since it is a bar, there is some slight City noise that happens in and around it. If that kind of thing bothers you, I would let the staff know while you're booking. (My wife and I didn't mind it at all. ) All that said, there was only one thing that was odd about the apartment which was the mildew smell coming from the bathroom near the front door.

I came here during the Fringe festival, and so I can safely say that when the city is at its busiest, the place remains as quaint as ever, tucked away in its microcosmic little alcove. The rooms are well equipped and the staff is caring. Would highly recommend!

This was a special occasion for us and the Old Town Chambers made it even more special. The apartment was stunning. The staff were like family. A very special place that we would recommend to anyone.

Stayed here for one night with a group of friends and loved it, we all wished we were staying longer! Very friendly staff. Apartment was very smartly decorated and comfortable. The location was perfect being just off the Royal Mile and only a few minutes walk from the train station and lots of the main attractions.

My partner suprise me with a night away. The apartment was modern and had lovely furnishes. Kitchen came fully supplied including a amazing coffee machine. The bathroom was stock with large cowshed product that were great. The hair dryer was full functional and not the small travel ones usual get. Tv had lots of channels and great sound system.

Overall, this place is great. Great location, great sizes, and great for a family. We have a family of 4 and we had plenty of room and really loved the washer/dryer in the unit. Why didn't we rate it 5 stars? 1 — even though Edinburgh is cool, it doesn't have air conditioning which means you need to keep the windows open which can get a bit loud. 2 — they didn't do a great job cleaning. With that said, we'd return.

Location exceptional. Large rooms. Full featured. Too many steps. But if you were expecting no stairs, avoid Edinburgh!

By far the best accommodations so far on a small UK Tour. Just off the Royal Mile and right near a fantastic Pub on Advocates Close (which you can access straight from the main apartments). Beautifully appointed and modern in the old city and has everything you could possibly want including the best location. You can walk right up from Waverly Station (takes only 5 or 6 minutes). We stayed in apartment 8 and had a view of the court around Advocate's Close and made us feel a real part of the old town. This is one of the few places I have stayed, that I could say I could truly live here. Laundry, and Dish Washer in Suite made the stay so simple. Would recommend to anyone who wants a very comfortable stay in old town Edinburgh.

I loved this place! Would definitely return again. Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, a beautiful view and a great location right on The Royal Mile. The staff was always willing to help with any issues we had or any questions, whether it was for directions or restaurant suggestions. They also upgraded us when we came to check in, which was great! This place is definitely underrated and should be talked about more!

I've stayed at plenty of nice places, this one tops them all. I'm definitely coming back to Edinburgh just to stay here and relax. If this was an AirBnB rental; it would be twice the price.

This is a first class apartment in every way; the comfort, the space, the location, the furnishings, the view… the Old Town Chambers is the Siberian Tiger of inner city accommodation. I booked a 3 night stay in Edinburgh for my parents and chose these apartments due to positive reviews. I am based in London and dealt with the booking over e-mail. The staff did a fantastic job of answering all of my questions in a comprehensive and timely manner. They also took care not to contact my parents as the stay was a Christmas gift — nice. The location is ideal, right next to the station, galleries and near to M&S, Boots and other high street shops. Despite being so central, it's a quiet location and we had a restful stay. In the morning, if it's clear you're able to look out over the whole of Edinburgh to see things such as; trains arriving and departing, workmen fixing the tops of steeples and petty theft on Princes Street. Upon arrival, my parents were upgraded to a larger apartment. It is a beautiful space, with wooden flooring, large sofas, power showers, dishwasher, coffee machine… everything you could desire for a relaxing stay. We actually made the decision not to eat out for dinner one evening, so we could spend more time enjoying the flat! The juxtaposition of the old building and the modern furnishings gives the place a really unique mood. There are also some token Scottish elements such as tasteful tartan cushions and shortbread in the kitchen. The Wi-Fi was powerful.

Completely worth every penny I stayed there for a night and the place was like an apartment for the rich my room overlooked half of the city with a belchony the size of my room. I loved it they just have a zero noise policy so be quiet or sleep in the streets lol.

A great weekend was had at Old Town Chambers. Lovely apartment with everything you could possibly need! It offered some fantastic views over the city and its central location meant most things worth seeing were within walking distance. I strongly recommend a visit to Edinburgh with Old Town Chambers as your base.

Nothing old in the apartment ultra modern facilities! great place to stay.

Our family of four stayed here for three nights. While more expensive than our typical lodgings, we decided to splurge as a gift to ourselves in the middle of our two week trip to the UK. More than any place we stayed during our holiday, this felt like home and was a great retreat from the throngs of tourists. It was great to have some privacy from the kids, two bathrooms, room to stretch, a kitchen for a break from restaurant food and a washing machine! Great location on the Royal Mile and walking distance to the main train station. Staff was great. The only issue we had was that there were limited instructions for the appliances and someone had placed dishwasher detergent in the clothes washer.

Absolutely beautiful aparment, will definitely be staying there again.

Let me just say that this is not your run of the mill apartment, it's first class on par with a suite in 5 star hotel. It is huge! Our 1 bedroom apartment is gorgeously furnished in a modern cozy style, with lots of high end high quality finishing with Siemens kitchen and Duravit bathroom fittings. The contrast of dark wooden flooring and grey walls interspersed with cream walls made it very cozy. Very impressed with the furniture as well, some 70's style chair in leather and sofa which can also turn into a sofabed. Fresh milk is free, coffee and tea and biscuits provided. Nespresso coffee and coffee maker in the kitchen. I was impressed with the kindest service I've received. When we arrived, there was a cot and baby high chair already! Wow! The manager on site, Gaia and her evening colleague was ever so helpful and unbelievably nice to us. She took us to our room and anything we needed she was at hand to assist; including slippers and toiletries and this is even better than the last 5 star hotel we stayed in Chicago in June. She was so kind to even let us leave an hour later at 12 on checkout; and we were so lucky to get in early at 11 as I had a Fellowship ceremony at Royal College of Physicians at 12 and needed to dress up. We will come back when we're back in Edinburgh.
