I had a glass of Bailey’s Hot Chocolate and it was perfect. It had become one of my favourite drinks now.

Absolutely lovely hotel in a perfect spot in Edinburgh can highly recommend.

Good location, nice size rooms and a pool!

After a nightmare experience from Itison re a voucher I purchase pre pandemic, the hotel could not have been nicer and honoured my voucher regardless. I am a frequent flier with the Radisson for afternoon tea and I would recommend it to anyone. Lovely food, attentive staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Only thing I would change — the background music! Thank you for a lovely Sunday afternoon.

Overall had an amazing time here, this was my first time staying here, and they were great, and very happy to accommodate us anytime, even the breakfast was so good 😊 can’t wait to go again Margaret & family from n — Ireland.

Very helpful as I made a last minute online booking due to cancelled trains. Room I booked was not available so have to rattle around in a suite! Also near (across the road) Byron Burgers good for collect hot meals in times of Covid. Travelling for work in these trying times…

We booked to stay for my birthday a bit of a hiccup with room but paul on reception went above and beyond to make our stay lovely and put us in a fabulous apartment room. The bed was so comfy and everything was such a high standard. Shout out to paul for the lovely chocolate strawberries sent to our room too he really did make me feel special. Also the staff in the restaurant were very attentive and friendly but word of warning make sure your hungry as portions are absolutely huge. Look forward to visiting again soon.

We booked the Prosecco afternoon tea and we were not dissapointed. There was a lovely selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones. The staff were lovely and great service too.

Went for cream tea with prosecco. When we arrived was asked if we wanted our prosseco first which we did say yes to. They were brought over then fruit scones were brought out (no choice of plain or fruit). Not at any point were we asked if we wanted tea or coffee. Even when we did get up to leave. No, one came over. This was a present given to us and we have all been very disappointed with the service

Another superb stay. Thankyou to Richard and his staff. Everyone was really helpful, food was great especially breakfast. Our room was comfortable and the extras we asked for were sorted without any fuss. Thankyou once again and looking forward to our next visit.

I had afternoon tea here with my daughter and grandson today and it was so nice. Lovely food and our waiter (sorry I didn’t catch his name) was professional but friendly too. Highly recommended.

Cane here for morning tea. It was absolutely delicious, from the bacon rolls to the cream scones. Tea, coffee and fresh orange juice on tap. We will definitely be coming back. The staff were all lovely too.

Most beautiful hotel. My now husband and I have just got married here & we had the most wonderful day. The radisson staff can’t do enough for you, they made everyone’s stay fantastic. Every time we have stayed here the only down side has been having to leave! Love the Radisson Blu & would recommend to anyone.

This place is a true gem. While it would be considered a top class hotel, the staff were very friendly and the general feel of all the staff was that nothing is too much trouble. Celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, my husband had emailed ahead of our trip, which was worth it. We were upgraded to a business class room, given complimentary Procecsco and chocolate covered strawberries in our room. The spa facilities were excellent and once again there was a friendly vibe from the staff. The variety of drinks in the bar was great and the breakfast buffet was exceptional. Highly recommend this hotel for everything I have mentioned plus it's great location.

This place is great. Walking distance from downtown and the castle. Rots of bars and restaurants all around. Wifi is free all over the building and it's blazing fast (I travel a lot, and this place probably had the top 3 download speed from all the hotels I've visited). Go right across the street and drink an Elderflower cider, you won't forget it.

Just stayed one night in this hotel. Was quite expensive but that would partly be the location. Service was very good. Breakfast was excellent. Room and beds were very comfortable. Air conditioning which appears not to be something you should not take for granted is installed (especially cooling). But it worked well. Beds were very soft it was lovely but not sure if my back would have liked it if I had stayed longer. Would still be nice to hear more Scottish accents. Definitely recommend the hotel though. The staff looked after our bags until later in the afternoon when we left for the airport which gave us most of the day to wander the Golden Mile. Loved Scotland.

A really good hotel in the middle of Edinburgh. Was quite impressed by the breakfast, which included a buffet as well as the opportunity to order special dishes. The porridge was very good, and the buffet had all the usual stuff. Really good standard on the rooms and a very welcoming staff at the reception. Highly recommended!

We were looking forward to our Afternoon Tea, voucher given to me for my birthday. The bread of the sandwiches was dry and the scones were hard and very dry inside. We asked for replacement sandwiches but they were exactly the same. So sad that such a prestigious hotel can't deliver delicious sandwiches and scones, basic things! The cakes, sweets and cocktails were delicious. The staff made up for our disappointing food, they were so friendly, helpful and efficient. For the price you are asking, your chef should be able to make simple things better.

First trip to Edinburgh and absolutely loved the place! The hotel I couldn’t fault at all, from the fantastic greeting on arrival from pablo who was so polite and helpful and a free room upgrade the room was lovely, bed most comfortable I’ve slept in for years, and breakfast unreal experience. Would defo stay here again no doubt and will be returning.

Came here to try the cocktail bar and we were met with delicious espresso martinis and good quality service. It was a little quiet (as it was just us and one other table! ) but it was a Tuesday night! The hotel looked lovely too — so we’d also like to try staying here if we came back!

I stay here almost every week for work. It's the best hotel! Friendly staff and amazing rooms. Very clean and comfortable and you can't beat the location right in the middle of the Royal Mile. I recommend this place to anyone. 5 stars!

Nice hotel, central location in Edinburgh. Right on the royal mile. Just a short walk from the Waverly train station and very close to Edinburgh castle and lots of restaurants and public houses. Inside the hotel bar is a bit small and can get rather busy in the evening. The conference and meeting rooms are located on the lower floor which is deceptively large.

Stayed here for our anniversary. Staff were welcoming and incredibly helpful. They recommended some lovely local pubs.

We recieved a very warm and friendly welcome from staff when we arrived at Raddison Blu Hotel, Edinburgh and staff were always on hand to assist. Our afternoon tea was presented well with a wondeful choice of filled mini roll/sandwiches and yummy mini cakes which was all very enjoyable. Although possibly a liitle pricey for some, we used an 'It is on' discount voucher, we would recommend afternooon tea at Raddison Blu Hotel, Edinburgh to anyone who is looking for that special treat.

Attended a training course here. Food was tasty and refreshments were continually topped up. Staff very nice. Conference facilities were clean and roomy. Nice venue.

Perfect hotel for my overnight stay in Edinburgh. I've always liked the look of this hotel from the outside and it didn't disappoint. Great location on a main road and easily accessible from the railway station. Easy to book online, look out for some great last minute offers. Easy check-in and the room was ready early which was a bonus. Bedrooms are quiet, comfortable, well decorated, clean and a good size. Check-out was quick and bags left in storage so I could explore more of Edinburgh. Didn't get further than the Museum of Scotland which is 5mins walk away. Spa, bar and restaurant not used this time but looked interesting and definitely something for the next visit which will be for the festival in August. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Fantastic hotel in a great location right in the heart of the action. Room was a good size with good toiletries. The 2 water bottles were a good free extra. Lovely luxury hotel.

Great service and friendly staff. A great breakfast selection including hot meals. We tried a variety including kippers, porridge, eggs benedict and all of the food was good. Small pool and gym also provided. A wonderful base to explore Edinburgh.

In the heart of Edinburgh, perfect!

Conveniently located for discovering Edinburgh with a very good value for money breakfast. Standards a little below some Radisson at the room level but the location makes everything forget.

We had the afternoon tea which was pleasant enough. The sandwiches were delicious and freshly made, but all of the cakes with the exception of the scones were shop bought (and cheap over sugared shop bought at that). The scone cream is a sugar buttercream rather than actual cream too that was also disappointing. Unfortunatly having been previously to the Radisson blu in glasgow where the cakes and sandwiches are all made in house I had high expectations that the quality was universal, but sadly not. The service though was impeccable and the staff could not be nicer, thus our overall impression was enjoyable and fun.

Superb hotel to advise: Ideally located in the old town on the Royal Mile, very welcoming staff, with small care, ready to help you and to advise you in everything you want to undertake, bed very comfortable. (4.5/5).

Outstanding I was here to host a day long seminar. Staff were first class, friendly and helpful. The food was first class. Great facilities. Love the creativity space, games, record player… Get Radisson Blu top management to see what you guys are doing. If you are doing training, need to host a seminar — do it here.

Location is second to none, in the middle of the Royal Mile and close to the train station and one of the main bridges that serves as an artery of the City Center. Amenities are also excellent: updated, well-furnished rooms are surprisingly spacious considering how central the location of this hotel is. I made use of several Concierge services: always gracious and helpful. I did not sample room service or the food in the restaurant, but both it and the bar area appeared to be clean and modern. I was in a room way in the back (well off the street) where it was very private and quiet… I am not sure whether this holds true for rooms closer to the front of the property. Hotel Wi-Fi is easy to connect and extremely fast (typically 5+ MBps). This certainly is not the cheapest hotel in Edinburgh, but in my opinion the amenities and especially location make it well worth the price for those who are shorter on time than they are on funds.

Stay there regularly. Highly recommend. Great staff. Free parking. Ideal location. Any issues they resolve without batting an eye.

Can't beat the location for seeing old Edinburgh. The rooms are very spacious and the lobby is inviting. The breakfast selection is huge and they make special requests off their menu. A very friendly and helpful staff. Enjoy the elevator ride.

Great location on the Royal Mile (High Street) about halfway between Hollyrood Palace and Edinburgh castle. Parking is quite limited, so plan on getting there as early as possible if you have a car. However. You won't need a car in Edinburgh unless you are traveling outside the city center. Good services overall.

Visited the 'sips in the city' pop up bar during the Fringe. Easily the widest and best selection of drinks for craft beer fans of all the pop up vars. Prices aren't even too bad, about normal for Edinburgh — not put up extra for the festival.

I really like the hotel overall. The location is ideal and only a short walk from some of the top attractions. The rooms are a nice size and very clean, the bar area is a pleasant place to sit and the food tastes great. My only complaint is that the beds are too soft but this is a very personal thing.

We came here for our honeymoon and an alarm went off in the middle of the night in our room. The staff came and turned off all power to our room, so we were unable to use the air conditioner. We opened the windows for cool air but it is so noisy on the streets. Neither one of us went to sleep before 4am which ruined the next day of travel. We received no apologies for this large inconvenience. Would not recommend.

Overall a very nice hotel that sits on top of Royal Mile. Though it's a bit of an uphill walk from where the Airlink bus dropped us. Larisa checked us in and took the time to explain about top spots in Edinburgh. We could enter our room early which we really appreciated after a long flight from California. Our room was spacious and comfortable.

Fantastic hotel. I have stayed here before and loved the amenities and location. The breakfast is outstanding. The room clean and cheery. My wean and wife were here with me last year and we felt the place enhanced our stay on the Royal Mile. If you want a great place to stay and be in the middle of it all, this is the only choice for a great nights stay.

The car park is confusing however the rooms are a generous size and offer superb views of the city. It is in a great location.

Dinner in Itchycoo. Pleasant staff but lacking knowledge about gluten free options. Chips arrived coated in salt. Inedible. Otherwise pleasant and lovely.

Nice room, great view, allowed a late check out. All the staff where helpful. Car park was a little confusing but worked it out eventually. Great location on the royal mile, but good sound proofing from the outside when in bedroom. Good section of food at breakfast very tasty and plenty of tables for rush hour. Will visit again.

It was our first night in the city and all the hotels were full, and someone recommended this one to us. It was awesome our room was in the "tower" facade with stunning views, really amazing :)

Disappointed with the room stains on carpet at bottom of bed and at side of bed also the security chain at door came away from wall. But apart from all that the location is great good breakfast, staff very friendly this hotel needs a refurb of it rooms as my room review is not the first. I have pictures of the defects if the hotel wants them.

Dated and in need of refurbishment. Good location on the royal mile but service was poor with a very noisy breakfast area if you were lucky enough to get a seat. I've stayed with Radison before and expected better. Do yourself a favour and check your booking thoroughly or stay somewhere else.

I was here giving a talk to young entrepreneurs. It has a relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, excellent facilities and great buffet service. The Radisson Blu is perfectly situated in the middle of the Royal Mile, 5 minutes walk from Waverly train station. While I can't speak for the rooms I can say the conference facilities are top quality. While many places pertain to be 'ideal' for this type of thing I have yet to experience anywhere that rivals the Raddison for service and facilities. From the minute I arrived the staff took care of me, showing me the conference room, explaining the buffet service and making sure I knew where to go had I any questions. All those attending had positive things to say about the location. The buffet selection was impressive and there was more hot coffee than you could shake large 5 star stick at. When the talk was over I enjoyed a cocktail at the modern and bright bar which was the perfect end to a great experience at the Radisson.

Very attentive staff that bent over backwards to help me when I was there. Beautiful setting and lovely rooms. I enjoyed being able to meet up with my friends in the downstairs seating areas and catching up.
