This was a decent hotel for an overnight stay. Clean, with the good basic amenities like in room irons and a free breakfast. They run a cheap £3 transfer mini bus to the airport — make sure to pre book it. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Dinner wasn’t bad either, and not expensive. I spent the night in the bar having little else to do, and service was friendly and prompt. I think they could make more use of the restaurant which has floor to ceiling windows, but they look out to very little. A bit of gardening and some shrubs or flowers would make it a really nice place to spend time in, and would push this place up another star in my eyes.

Great room for 2 adults and a 5 year old before heading on holiday. Car parking included in stay made overall cost of room great value. Good breakfast and timely transit to airport. Very pleased.

Good place with simple offer for rooms and restaurant with breakfast. Very cleaned. It has 3 floors, the rooms are cozy and luminous and basic services and access for invalid people. Don't has special installations like gym, hot tubs, etc. It is focused to families and workers. Is not far from airport (bus 330) or 5 minute on car, 20 on walk, but not close to center town and not good communication with public transports. Has a parking for residents.

It also costs the air you breathe… Pay parking… And it's expensive…

Normally stay at Premier Inn. But with a Great price including Breakfast decided on taking a risk. Glad we did. Found room as good as Premier Inn With a better Shower and Toilet Room. Premier Inn had edge on Breakfast but would stay here again. Impressed!

Simple hotel. Perfect location next to the airport. They do a shuttle bus service 24hrs a day to the terminals for £3 per person which is really handy and saves you having to try and sort out a taxi. Beds were what you would expect from a Holiday Inn, comfortable enough. Staff on the front desk are approachable and helpful. Good place to stay if you have to catch an early morning flight.

Good experience overall. Staff are very helpful and patient with children. Very busy during breakfast but no one became flustered or annoyed but simply did theur part. Good customer service.

Nice value for money. But beware that if you need parking it is expensive. Restaurant can not be recommend. Nice pub located with the lobby. Quiet and clean room.

Hotel is nice, but service isn’t great. It costs £3 per person to take the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Also, in the restaurant you have to go to them to order a meal. They don’t wait on you. If you want another Coke, you have to go order and pay for another quote. Personnel are nice enough, but generally customer service is lacking. My experience with IHG properties in the US have been much different and generally much better.

Really nice hotel. Reception staff were wonderful, especially when greeting the children. Rooms were fine, clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Would certainly come again.

Location was convienient and close to the airport. They offer a free shuttle to the terminals. The rooms are clean and spacious for an airport hotel. The bathrooms are also large enough for one person to easily get ready. But don't have enough room for two at once. The staff are friendly and attentive. And the bar in the lobby has a good selection of beer.

Very nice friendly staff and good location, they organized a taxi to and from the airport which turned out to be £3 each way per person. Nice quiet rooms with comfy beds and a choice of soft or hard pillows. Nice shower.

Very clean and comfortable. Very busy as expected being near the airport. However shocked that guests have to pay £8.50 to park in the car park at the hotel. Also requested a room with a travel cot which wasn't available when we arrived.

Fine enough hotel with a friendly and very efficient check in team. There should be signs saying "no smoking" outside the reception entrance though as you have to walk through a continuous cloud of smoke as it's where the smokers congregate. The room was clean and functional although the TV was nightmare to operate — perhaps that was just my room — and the bathroom had a good powerful shower. Restaurant food was a bit naff and although not too expensive, it was not very good for a Holiday Inn who usually do good food. Breakfast was particularly unappealing. The coffee machine was average. The fresh fruit juice machine horrible offering what I think was powdered juice. Yuk! There was also nowhere to get boiling water other than from the coffee machine but this wasn't really boiling so the Tea was not nice. In its favour, it's near the airport and that's about it. Finally, a shuttle bus will charge you £3 to get to the Terminal which is a bit cheeky.

Average hotel with a pretty limited food options. Conveniently closer to Man airport, you can catch the shuttle for only £3!

The people are very friendly and amicable at the reception always ready to help the whole hotel and well I love.

Located very close to the airport so perfect for travellers. Rooms are well decorated, cozy and we'll equipped. The bathroom was very clean and well decorated also.

A typical Holiday Inn — clean and comfortable. Had a really early start at 4.30am and was pleased to see some breakfast items available even at that time. Convenient location for the airport. No issues.

Perfectly comfortable rooms for a quick stop ahead of a flight. Breakfast was pretty average with basically no fresh fruit and no non-dairy milk or yoghurt meant beans on toast was it for me. A little underwhelming @ the £139 / night rate.

Room 024 end of ground floor corridor so no-one walking by. Quiet room with black out curtain. Lovely huge walk in shower. Comfy bed. Very good breakfast. For dinner ask for directions to walk 0.4 of a mile to very nice Chef and Brewer country pub Rompay which was a little oasis. Would stay again.

Nicely decorated room, comfy bed and a decent shower! We forgot toothpaste and the hotel kindly provided some at our request. Only 10 minutes from Manchester Airport, perfect hotel for a layover or pre-flight stay.

Basic hotel room, bar is expensive and can get noisy during the night with people charging down the corridors. The biggest gripe I have is the management where they don't respond or return calls where items have been stolen from the room and refuse to ensure that the CCTV recordings are kept and refuse to put you through to Snr management to take it further. It seems that the hotel deputy manager was lazy and failed to complete company policy and the items mysteriously was found even though 4 assistant managers stated that they did not have them. Numerous calls and time on the phone advising I didn't know what I was talking about.

Good Holiday Inn Express. Arrived early and was allowed to check in early which was fantastic. Reception staff can show a little more interest in guests and their needs, as they can come off as a little abrupt. Otherwise great place to stay around MAN airport.

Average prices for an average airport hotel. The don't ever mention this, but the airport shuttle is not complementary. It's only £3 so it's good value, but make sure to 1 — Get shuttle tokens from reception if you don't have cash and 2 — Make a reservation for the shuttle as walk ups may have to wait quite some time during popular departure times.

Stayed here instead of sleeping at the airport during a layover and it was OK for that purpose. Hotel did leave something to be desired, rooms were relatively clean, although one of the towels did not look too clean. No air conditioning in the room. Although it was cool outside, opening the window let in a lot of traffic noise. The breakfast was included but was minimal.

Originally, we booked a room for four people: myself, my sister, and my parents. It was expected to have three beds in, but only featured two. Apparently, this couldn't be remedied as there weren't even fold-out beds. Thus, a second room had to be booked, more than doubling our travel expenses. A saving grace of this was the rooms themselves — they were clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the showers were high-quality. If staying alone (or at most with a partner and one child), the rooms and price are fine. Meals at the in-house restaurant were good enough, but far overpriced, as were drinks (for reference, a pint of Coca-Cola was £3.20). If possible, visit a restaurant outside of the hotel.

This was a great place to stay. They offer shuttle service to the airport for next to nothing and everyone was very helpful. We arrived late (the kitchen was about to close), but they made sure we got our order in and received our food in a timely manner. They allowed us to have a later check out and the room was clean and quiet.

Hotel is in great location. Staff very attentive and rooms are very nice. Only downside is that some drinks are very expensive which means it can be a costly stay x.

Decent hotel. Have stayed a couple of times and the rooms seem to be identical. Nice service, soft beds, good location for the airport and a half decent breakfast in the morning.

Great little hotel, clean, entry area well designed, rooms are comfortable and stylish. The staff was very helpful and polite. The steak and ale pie was sooooo good. We plan to stop here next trip back.

Ideally located close to the airport, it's quick and convenient for an early flight. We didn't use the shuttle bus or the park and stay, parking there £5 is a lot though just for a few hours (outside the hotels control apparently). Rooms are standard with good facilities (shower only but clean and modern). My main criticism is that the bed itself was very soft which felt uncomfortable and it was very warm so struggled to get a good night sleep!

I had a nice night on the hotel. The transportation was ok in price to the airport.

Convenient for a next day morning flight, comfortable bed and clean room. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel, limited menu but very nice food and friendly staff.

I stayed there the other night and I am really not happy with the service that I got from the staff and to top it all of I ordered a curry for my dinner and the man in the suit who served it when he was bring it too me he had his two finger in the curry as soon as I seen that I went and stayed across the road where the service was so much better I am going to go back and demand my money the man in the suit was call sahil do not gooooooooo!

This hotel is amazing. The rooms were nice and had comfortable beds and the food was nice too.

We stayed overnight on saturday the 23rd of january 2016 for a birthday party when we got there the reception staff were so friendly and checking in was quick when we got to our room it wasnt wat we expected it was far better gorgeous room and well the bathroom was fantastic and the bed was so comfortable next morning we went down for breakfast can not fault this hotel friendly staff lovely hotel amazing room and a greatt breakfast and to park the car was £5.00 for 24 hours we will be back thankyou to all the staff for making our stay comfortable.

Those who like to be next to a motorway sleeps, it is probably comfortable. But without air conditioning in the rooms is, in summer, you forced the window open. The foods that are offered to earn their name.

This hotel had to accommodate a large group of disgruntled passengers following a flight cancellation and coped admirably, (a genuine thanks to EasyJet for arranging this). The room was very clean and the bed a dream to sleep in.

Cant credit the staff enough head a great experience from the moment I checked in to the moment I left. Although breakfast was a disappointiment aswell as dinner it's a great friendly place.

Ok hotel, paying for the shuttle is crazy, the sign outside terminal 3 tells you ring and you get through to a taxi company.

Room was fine and what you expect from a Holiday Inn Express. But the restaurant is to be avoided — food was ok, but the place wasn't very organised and expensive for what it was. Would suggest heading across the street to the Premier Inn.

Terrible place designed only to part you with your money. Restaurant menu is nothing more than overpriced deep fried bar snacks like you would find in a wetherspoons. Bar has poor selection and is a rip off with unfriendly and at some times abusive staff. Breakfast was an altogether new experience, described as a "continental style" self service breakfast however as they had run out of plates, cups and glasses people resorted to eating croissants with their hands or sticking a sausage on the end of a fork and standing in the middle of the breakfast bar eating it. This was mainly due to every table being dirty and uncleared of the elusive dining wares. There seemes to be only 2 staff working the whole time who were trying there hardest but could not keep up with the pace of arrival or guests. This place is screaming out for proper management and organization and I would recommend that if you need to stay over for a flight at Manchester that you book with Premier Inn accross the road or just save yourself the hassle and sleep in your car.

One of the worst places that I have stayed had a burger and the inside wasn't cooked the room wasn't ready when we arrived.

Room paint smell, the Chinese dont like.

Nothing. Rooms too hot, breakfast very poor quality ingredients and there was no bacon both times I stayed either side of my holiday. Went across the road for breakfast on the way back. Will not stay in Holiday Inn again.
